I have a table where i am capturing 4-5 data points about different members of a household, such as name, age and education. All this is gathered through a single form, so all the data for a household is in a single record. I want to now split this data into multiple records in a different table - so that i can see the name, age and education of each household member one below the other, rather than in the same row. Is it possible to automate this in airtable?

I am using airtable for invoicing for a transportation company, and we bill by mileage. Ultimately, when billing, I want to be able to choose an origin point from a drop down, choose a destination from another drop down, and have airtable fill in the number of miles between the two locations in a third field. I’m a bit of an airtable newbie, so I’m struggling to figure out how to set this all up. My current base is set up as follows: Table containing a record for each item/route to be billed Table for customer information Table for invoices Currently I am typing in the number of miles for each item to be billed. The routes we run have a finite number of origins and destinations, so it feels feasible (if a little arduous) to calculate up how many miles there are between each origin and each possible destination and store them in a table. I’m experimenting to see if I can make API calls to AirTable from the Swift programming language. I’m able to get the table fields, but I also want to update a field. That isn’t working. Are there examples anywhere?

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, or if it’s even possible. When I Import a CSV file. I would like to have it add to one of my columns that has a Multiple Select column type. So, for instance, if I have a Multiple Select column with the following fields: apples oranges peaches and in one of my rows the column it has: apples oranges and then i import the CSV, and the import has peaches the result would be that it would add peaches to the column. at the moment, it over rights the column. at least in my experiences. thanks for any advice. hope i put this question in the correct section.

Is there any way to hide the Button Title in the calendar view? It would simplify what our team members see in the field and take up less space. The buttons themselves declare what they are for - the title is redundant.

Hi Folks: Any structural advice would be helpful for this Airtable setup. Table 1: List of Judges (Name, Email, etc.) Table 2: List of Applications (Name, Email, etc.) Table 3: List of Groups (Group 1, 2, 3. etc.) that is linked onto Table 1 & 2 for assignment. I can see, of course, who is then been assigned into a group, but it’s difficult for the viewer to just copy out the emails for contact. QUESTION: How could I create a Table 4: Pulls it all together in a “Contact Sheet” for each group. I’d like a table that is sortable by Group but also allows the viewer to easily copy/paste emails out of. So, it would be a grid view. Note, I would like to keep the Judge and Applicants’ information on separate tables vs. combining into one. Thanks for the thoughts/advice.

I have been approved for the discount but every time I tried to pay/upgrade my plan, the regular rate is still appearing. What should I do?

A simple DATEADD is changing time. SET_TIMEZONE(DATEADD(date,moredays,'days'),'America/New_York') If it is because of daylight savings, does airtable recognize that and have a ‘fix’?

Hi, We are currently experiencing freezing issues in our bases (not just one but multiple) and from different browsers in different OSs (windows 10, MacOS high Sierra, Safari, Chrome, Firefox) where the browser hangs immediately after trying to edit a couple of records using expanded records. Is there anyone else experiencing this? it has only been happening today as the days before everything was fine. We tried removing browser extensions, and as mentioned, it is happening to different users of our team in different operating systems and computers. If someone has advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey all. More questions. Is it possible to grab/sync info from one workspace’s db/tab to another’s? I have course listings that I need to grab/sync into another workspace. I just need to be able to select them(multiple for some), but not change it in the destination.

Seems simple but I am struggle. i have the adress of my website on one colum lile Column D : www.site.com I have some slug in another on like Column E : - “page1/” on row 1, “tomato/” on row 2 I want to display in one colum the sum of the two, like D & E. www.site.com/page1/ www.site.com/tomato/ I know it’s basic, but I haven’t found so far… I was thinking I need roll up, but it say “You need a link field to create a rollup. Create the link field before configuring this rollup field.”. And I don’t get it ( maybe because I am french).

I have Airtable integrated with a third party app, where all data collections automatically flow into Airtable. Two main fields that get loaded into Airtable are a user-entered Date and Time. I’d like to create a third formula column in order to add these two together to get a Date & Time Airtable field. Does anyone have any suggestions on the formula to use here? I am new to Airtable and I am setting it up to use for cataloging a personal collection. The PC version is working great but I am having an issue with setting filters on the Android App. Nothing happens when I hit “Enter Comparison Value”. Help!

I have create a simple BASE in my Airtable account. I now wish to use this within my website project. Therefore, I have generated an API key via my account page. Next I have visited REST API - Airtable then selected the BASE I have created. In my project I will be using the Javascript method to pull in the data from my BASE to my website. Within this Javascript I can choose Show API. However, as this Javascript contains my API key, I am concerned that it need to be set as Read Only. Hi, I’d like to create a line chart that tracks my progress in writing a book. My goal is to write 90000 words in 180 days, which is 500 words a day. I have the Y axis (# of words) already set, but I can’t seem to figure out the X axis (see image below)… How can I complete this so that when I write my 500 words in a day, I add it into Airtable and it shows me progress towards that 90K word target? I am trying to automate a membership application form for a society that I am member of. I would like to embed the membership application form on a page of our society webpage, then when some fills out the form and submits it. The form would then automatically be sent to the board members for approval, and once every board reviewed the application, they would submit and it would be send the form back. Once the form gets approved by all board members the society would then have it’s online PayPal link sent to the applicant for payment. Once the applicants payment is sent and received, the applicants information would then be uploaded into our membership database. Once all that is automatically taken care of the one membership view (Active View) would be automatically uploaded to the membership list on the society webpage. Can Forms have Pages… Multipage Forms for more complex forms?

Hello AirTable Community! Just starting out with AirTable and not very strong on the scripting side, so need some guidance. I have a table called Agreements, with columns; Client, Start Date, End Date and Amount. I’d like to create a Table (then a graph) showing the forecasted monthly revenue based on this data. So just a list of Month/Year with the Sum Amount. Hope that makes sense and thanks in advance. Chris B

Hi there! so we are a property management company and we have a Base for our portfolio. the first table is Properties and it has all of our properties: i can sort by view, filter, etc to get what i need My issue is that I have a checklist that i need to go through everytime i buy a property (water on, gas switched, cert approved, etc). I don’t want to add these columns to the Properties table since it is already so many columns. can i make a new table in the same Base and call it “Checklists” whereby it pulls all the properties listed from the Properties table? i don’t want to duplicate and have to type in properties in both tables. hope that makes sense!

Hi ~ I’ve been using AT for a couple of years now, and this is the first issue I’ve run into. When I go to form view, and upload a logo and/or header image, it will not show up (header) or appears “broken” (logo). I’ve tried all of the suggestions in help… what to do?! I desire to reorder attachments from different table. Let’s assume We have .inc table like company A,B.etc. Besides, We also have financial statements table like A’s F/S 2021, A’s F/S 2020 A’s F/S 2019. etc. When I apply lookup, ideally attachments should keep their order following year. However, the attachments become messy like A’s F/S 2020, A’s F/S 2021, A’s F/S 2019. In that case, how can reorder it?

Newbee to automations here and would like to hear if I’m doing this right because it feels wrong :slightly_smiling_face: I added a couple of automations which change a status field based on conditions. So as “Action” I select “Update record”, select the table and record ID from the trigger. But then when I add the fields to be changed and I select the “Status” field (which is a Single Select field type), I just get an free type text field instead of a dropdown with the labels/options from that Status field. This seems to work fine as long as I type in the exact words/phrase used for the single select options, but if somewhere in the future someone changes the dropdown labels/options, this will then immediately break the automation without any kind of warning. (well it wouldn’t “break” the automation in the sense that it would still run, but the automation would just keep using the old label which could cause all kinds of unintended things). So… I

I have a table of tasks. Each task has a due date in a date field. I want to create a new formula field that looks at the due date and spits out: Upcoming Due Today Past Due Extra credit if the formula can spit out “Due Soon” when a task is 2 days away. How do I make this happen?
