Hey, I just moved my sales team to Airtable and I’m trying to tally and track our tele sale’s activities i.e. number of calls made by a specific assignee for specified periods. Is there an app or code that could help me create a dashboard view of changes made on my tables over a specified period ?

Hi! I hope you could help me… A person who is no longer a part of our company created a base that we cannot find anywhere. The base was shared with several users, and until December we have been working with it. The person left the company in June, when her email was disabled. But it seemed not to be a problem, as we were able to work in the base for 6 months (from June to December). The problem is that now the base is not in any of the accounts it was shared, we are not able to find it. How can I get it back? It is not in the “trash” folder either. It had very valuable information :frowning: Thanks!!

So I’m wanting/needing to have the Start and End time and I came across: https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013735167 Defining a date range, but when I open the new field and select DATE, I do not see this: So I’m not sure if Enterprise has this option unlocked? I’m looking for a formula that will return the smallest 8 of the last 20 items recorded. Here is the formula that I use in Excel to retrieve the information from a table: =AVERAGE(SMALL(INDEX(Golfer[Index],ROWS(Golfer[Index])-20):INDEX(Golfer[Index],ROWS(Golfer[Index])),{1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8})) Any thoughts that this is/can be supported in AirTable?

My boss wants to use a checkbox in Airtable so a Customer can: Click the checkbox Receive an acknowledgment that the checkbox was clicked Reset the checkbox so it could be checked again by a different Customer to the same effect Is this type of looping supported? Hi AC, we are using Airtable for employees to submit their vacation dates. They provide a start, as well as an end date of their vacation, so that we are able to accept or decline their inquiry. We have to replace every shift with another employee and can only do so untill a certain count. Lets say 10 replacements per day to keep every thing running. i would love to find a smart solution, where Airtable already suggest a decline, because 10 relplacements where already accepted on that certain date. How to i go from a tange between to dates to counts on a specific date?

Hello, I’m new to Airtable, so please forgive me if the answer to this is obvious. I’d like to create a table and give people access to a filtered view - but not always the SAME filtered view (I understand I could do that by simply giving them a link). Example: let’s say my table contains details of recent films. I have fields with an age rating, the category of film (suitable for families etc.), the language etc. Is there a way to allow people to fill in a form listing which criteria they’re interested in (let’s say PG, comedy, French), and based on their replies, sharing that particular filtered view? But on another occasion, they might fill in different answers (let’s say 15, family films, English), and thus get access to a different view? I don’t want them to see the full base, or to have to apply filters themselves. I have a membership site where I could embed pages. Thank you for your help! Sophie

Hi there, I am trying to create a link between my “Handover” table (which has a unique ID for each transaction of multiple items) and individual “Inventory” Items (which have been coded uniquely as well). What I would like to have happen is that as soon as one or multiple items are handed over, it adjusts the value of the specific “Inventory” items. The Primary Columns are different for each table. Can anyone help with this?

Hello! We are two people collaborating on the same dataset, however, we use it for different purposes and we want one shared table with information that we maintain, and two other tables, one for each of us, on which we can maintain additional data for each record of that main table. Here are my questions: What is the best way to do this? I can add an empty table and have a field that links to another table, but I need this to be my primary field (which doesn’t seem to support linking), and I also need records to be added automatically to the “clone” tables when they are added to the main table. I tried using “sync tables” but I can’t figure them out. When I add a “synced table”, I have to select a shared view, but there is nothing to select, I’m just stuck on my main table with some options missing in the toolbar and I have to actually refresh the page to get them back… Is there a way to do this (all tables in the same database) with the free version? We have volunteer events that we need to reoccur on specific days of the month. For example, Zuma Ranch has volunteer orientation on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month. How can I automate the date to update to the next Tuesday it will happen so the date updates on the listing? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello! I need some help. When working with Zapier to connect Airtable and Asana, I am running into an issue that just started happening. My Zapier automation is failing on the last step (3. Update Record in Airtable) with the following message: The app returned “You are not permitted to perform this operation because the field or table has been configured to limit who can perform this operation”. I have no fields that would be causing this issue and the table itself is not restricted (everyone in my base is a creator). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello, Just one quick question about Table Sync. Since we are new to Airtable and just started exploring it, trying to build our workflows and see if it can fit our needs, we thought to start utilizing this sync from the start for updating and maintinging some shared information. Basically, we wanted to have on “Global” base where we could put tables with our clients, contacts, suppliers etc. and then sync those tables to other bases for our other departments. This way we won’t need to make separate tables for each department and would have single point that needs to be updated and maintained. Question here is, there is no way for people in those other departments to update for example client list from their base (where they would have clients table synced from “Global”), only option is to update existing fields with button column option?. They would need to have access to “Global” database and directly add new client in origin table? Idea was to restrict access to this “Global” base s

I’m back to using Airtable after a relatively long hiatus, and in my OLD bases, I could copy a row of data from my “TASK - CURRENT” tab, and move it to my “TASK-COMPLETED” tab (same base, identical data fields, etc.) by selecting the row, hitting “CTRL+C”, going to the Completed Tab, creating a new row, and hitting “CTRL+V”. I’ve tried everything, including going back to my OLD bases and doing exactly that. I can’t, however, find ANY way to copy/paste or move a row to a different tab within this NEW base. Would love to call support, but… Any info would be MUCH appreciated!

I have URL fields for my contacts twitter, facebook and instagram accounts. I am trying to create a index card in page designer, and include those fields. However, instead of it showing the full linked addresses, is there anyway to just put a twitter, facebook graphic and when i click that graphic it opens the URL?

I’m using the CSV Import App to pull data into Airtable and update changes from the source. I don’t want users to edit the fields I’m filling, but I want the changes to come over. Hello Everybody I was wondering If I can do the following Can I include some Checkbox field And A 5-star Rating field from a form I have created in Airtbale ( embedded inside ) an email body: I will automatically trigger under certain conditions? I want some of my clients to react right away when they receive an automated email, and when they tick the checkbox and give the star rating, that should be reflected inside my view in Airtable right away. Airtable charts app doesn’t have an option to get html which can then be embedded in another site. Miniextensions.com also doesn’t allow you to have multiple lines in one line graph so its not what i’m looking for. I have been trying to figure out if there is a library out there I can send my data to from airtable to render an html string of this chart, or maybe even an image. Python friendly tools would be best since I am most comfortable with that language. Anyone have any tips?

I’m curious if there is a way to have a “rule” to check for duplicates in a field(s)? I know there are apps for that, like Dedupe to use in dashboards, but I was hoping there was a rule or some where of showing’highlighting like in Excel.

Hi - I am brand new to Airtable so apologies in advance. I have set up A base with several tables, each with a date and time section for example time & date to do a viewing of a property and in another table time and date to prompt me to do follow up a phone call to a lead. I therefore have several default calendars, one from each of the several tables, which is frustrating. I cannot see one single calendar view option / location combining all of those calendars from each table into one single calendar for the entire base. Also the calendars are just date only, but not the time as well, which for appointments is kind of crucial. Are the issues I am experiencing because I am not on a paid plan while I am trying out the platform? Or is this just the way it is? I just want one joined up calendar that syncs with my Icalender and that syncs both ways. So anything I put into my single Airtable base is synched to my Icalnder and everything I out in my Icalander is also singed to my base c
