Hey! I’m trying to connect data from different bases into one, and that data from the different bases have it summed up. So what I’m trying to do is these: I have a different base for each soccer tournament in which contains the stats of every player, and I want to have in the SAME base the stats of that same player in the different tournaments like: Have “Lionel Messi” stats from 2018 season + 2019 season + 2020 season, etc in just one record… and add all the stats in one base. My idea is to have a general base with a few stats but from ALL tournaments (bases). I know I can sync bases but there’s a limit of 20 synced bases and I have more than 20. Hello, we are trying to compile the numbers of calls received per week on a spreadsheet. We would like a break down by day, week and Month. Should we use pivot table or scripting? What should be the configuration? Thank you

I’m new to Airtable (and databases generally) so I apologize that I can’t articulate my problem better than this. But here goes: Through Zapier, every day I send an Airtable form to my clients. When they complete the form, a new record appears in the base. So far so good. Ideally, they would complete the form every day of the week so there would be one record per client per day. But they sometimes forget… Is there a way to automatically create a blank record (with null values) for the days when they forget to complete the form? I need to track these no-response days and don’t want to create the records with null values manually. I’ll be (extremely) grateful for any help. -Jason

Hi, I’m trying to make a formula that gives me the last day of the current month. So, while we’re in March I want it to return 31 or 2018-03-31 and when we get to April return 30 or 2018-04-30. It seems pretty simple in JS (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1184334/get-number-days-in-a-specified-month-using-javascript) - but don’t know how to do it on Airtable. Any ideas? Thanks a lot! Hello, I have spent the last two days looking through the community post and can’t seem to find an answer to the solution I need. My best bet is that I either need a nested if statement or a possible Switch command. I am trying to create a formula that gives me the status on a row based on blank rows in a column. For example, I have a workflow that is an eight-step process. My goal was to create a column for each step. The steps are (Get approval, Get Quote, Make Purchase Request, Print Purchase Order, Receive Items, Tag Items, Install Items, Update Asset information) As each step is completed I will fill information in that column. I would like the formula to let me know which step we are on next. If there is no data on the row the formula will state that we are “Waiting on the approval.” If I type something in the first column, the formula will know that column is no longer blank and provide the next step. I am using Zapier to send an email using a webhook. The email has an attachment (picture or PDF, can be either at time or both). when the email sends, it only grabs the URL for the attachment. i want the actual FILE. i know that if i use the UI inside of ZAP > OULOOK, i can call the FILE out and it inserts it properly… but i want this occur while using the webhook… anyone know the TAG i can use in the webhook pre-fill link to pull the FILE and not just the URL?

Hi All! Been thinking about this for a while, but cannot wrap my head around it! Looking for a bit of help. I have multiple tables with lots of lookups all connected together, but am struggling to get a same table lookup to work. Thinking maybe scripts or automations? My table is as below: I am trying to accomplish the following: When the current row is updated to ‘Existing Supply Rating’ it (ie the automagical widget or script) searches for similar rows and returns the file associated with the most recent similar matching row. Hello! I’m looking for some advice as to how to recreate some of the timesheet functionality that I currently get from Harvest within Airtable, considering my Airtable base has a lot of the data about our projects that I end up entering manually into Harvest. Right now, our Harvest usage looks like this: The records are “tagged” with the project, and the task that the time was spent on for that project. I have the projects and tasks already in tables in my base, and the only way that I can see to set this up is like this. Is this the only way to recreate the Harvest functionality in Airtable? What do you recommend I do differently?

Hi everyone, I would like to ask you for help: I have the MAIN database and then couple others (A,B,C…) in tables next to it. To fill in new records within a particular a field of MAIN, I was choosing informaton from the database A. These were linked, such that I started typing a new record in MAIN and it automatically showed me options from database A and I chose a desired option. Then I copied the whole database and this link has been lost and I do not know how to restore it. I would really appreciate your suggestions! Thank you very much. Margareta

Hi , I’d like to apologize in advance if this question has been answered, but I’m not clear enough on the terminology, and am Lacking in available time, so any help is lovely. we have a sheet where a linked record type is used to pick multiple items from another record, figured out how to do that fine, and I can look at the details for each linked item, but in the view embedded in my website, or the shared link, it just shows them as a list, with no ability to select the items and look at their details.

Hi everyone. We had a member of our team leave recently and I have taken over overseeing some of our Airtable bases. We have a number of different slack notifications set up in our Workspace but they were all set up on this other person’s account that is no longer with the company. Is there any way for me to reconfigure them, transfer ownership to myself, or just remove them so I can recreate them? Some of the settings are no longer valid, need to go to a different slack channel, etc.

Hi all, my first post here :slightly_smiling_face: after a couple of weeks of using this AMAZING product. I am working on a small private project, where I want to track my expenses and income via forms on my mobile. The final product should be something like a monthly pivot chart which would show my expenses and my income streams over months. How I used to do this in Excel? I entered as many unique records as there were income/month/year combinations and do a simple pivot chart. Hi, I’m using the “Filter” function and it works great, it’s got my view down to about 200 records. But I now need to remove approx another 40 records by “Name”, what is the easiest way to remove them? The only way that I can find is to filter by “Name” “Does not contain” … for each record (see attached image example). I is there an easier way to remove certain people from my list? Btw, I don’t want to permanently delete these records, just remove them from my filtered view. Thanks in advance :~)

How or why would I be getting access to a database requests from strangers and is this an issue to be concerned with. I’m disregarding the request of course.

Hi everyone, I’m new to AirTable. I’m not sure yet if it’s going to solve my problems. I currently use MailChimp to store information about my subscribers. My subscribers may or may not be members. They may also be interested in different services / products that I offer. I have them in seven different groups in order to segment them. I collect a lot of information from subscribers to help plan social events for them. Their age, location, gender, relationship status etc is all relevant plus other things. At present I collect 30+ fields of info to help me bring like-minded people together. I email people. I call people. I sent SMSs to people. I would like to be able to track and write comments / notes on these interactions so I can see the journey my customers are taking. I also run regular events. I collect data from each event. Tickets sold, how many people arrived early, on time, late etc… how many cancelled last minute too! I’d like to

Requesting the addition to Gantt chart for mult-level grouping as we have in the tables or a “View” choice for grouping. We have a “View” choice for record color, which uses the table color conditions. This request would apply the table “Grouped by” settings to the Gantt chart. Thanks!

Hey pals, I’m trying to print a document designed in the designer app. My desired dimensions are 8.125 in. x 10.250 in. — So, when (factoring for 300dpi) I put the pixel dimensions into the designer app’s document dimension settings (2438 x 3076 px) Then export, I end up getting a document size MUCH larger. (24.61 x 30.76 in) Also, with every exported record / page I get an exported extra blank page. I’d like to not have this happening too. Thanks for your help!

Each time I try to send emails via the SendGrid app it keeps failing. It has worked successfully previously, but now it doesn’t. I don’t think I’ve changed anything, and I’m only trying to send to 40 email addresses. My email is fairly short, only 330 characters (only 50 words). I’ve tried using a new API key but that doesn’t work either. Does anyone have any ideas on why this could be? Thanks in advance.

I am trying to figure out a formula to display the linked information inputted from either column: Private Label or SKU. I was able to make the idea partially work with: IF({Private Label},BLANK(),SKU). However this doesn’t allow for if SKU is blank to use Private Label. Thank you for any help!!

Hello. I would like to embed a base with some preset filter applied which users are free to modify/remove if they wish. I know I can create a view where I apoply the filters but then users won’t be able to unapply them. I see the support article on URL filters. This seems to work when I embed an individual table. However, I would like to embed the entire base (so that users can click on linked records). Can URL filters be applied when sharing the entire base? It does not seem to work for me when I apply the same filter query in the URL as I do for individual table URLs. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help!
