Hello, I have built a Airtable that some people have shown interest in. I want to sell them access and charge them through Stripe. How do I automate the access part based on their subscription? Like if the subscription status is active on Stripe then they should have access to it. And they should lose access once they have cancelled the subscription. I’m thinking of doing it with Zapier, is there any other solution? Thanks

Hello, I have created an scavenger hunt App where the users needs to find a checkpoint, when they find it the scan a QR code and the app sends to Airtable their unsername connected to the name of the check point found. Winner is the one which has most points in total (which means that they found more check points) here is how the table looks https://airtable.com/shrZkdykmqmIMHMAc My issue is when a user scans twice the same QR code which results in a double entry in the table. Is there a way to overwrite the data which are automatically sent to Airtable? or eventually an automatic way to delete double entries connected to a user? I am not so good with airtable, so it might be a super easy thing to solve, but I’m not able to figure it out… any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Currently every morning at 4am, I have an email that gets sent to all my crew that are cleared for work that day (covid testing, etc.). Gmail is now sending me bounce backs because there are too many on that mass email. I am wondering how to integrate Zapier to send this email to everyone who is in a certain grid view, even if that means Zapier goes in and presses a sendgrid email button for everyone there, but I can’t quick figure how how. I’m trying to avoid making someone wake up at 4 am just to hit send on all these people every day.

Hi all, I’m diving into the wonderful world of Airtable scripting with a custom CSV import script that does some data interpretation and creates links to other tables. Starting point was the CSV import example. I managed to get that working and added more functionality. Now, I keep getting an error that I cannot seem to solve: But the editor shows no red markings, and the first line of my script is a comment! I’m wondering if anyone has thoughts on this problem. I’m currently using a WORKDAY formula to calculate the due date of project from the ordering date. However, if the deliverable is ordered after a certain time of day, let’s say noon, I don’t want the calculation to start until the following business day. In other words, I want it to calculate only full business days. Anyone have any ideas on how this could be accomplished? Thanks in advance!

Hi - I’m new to Airtable. When one of my team chooses a filter while I’m using Airtable I can see it happening live on my screen and it overrides what I am doing. Is there any way around that? Thanks

I simply want to delete a record in grid view. If I understand correctly the only way to do this is to right click on the record and select ‘Delete Record’ (as a side note, wouldn’t it be better to have a delete button ?) When I right-click I get chrome right-click menu together with Airtable right-click menu which is confusing and I assume is a bug … what is needed is for Airtable right-click menu only. Hi I create new records in Airtable via the API with integromat. As part of the payload I send a id which is numerical, however when I receive the response back from airtable, the id is displayed as alphanumeric. The same happens when I send an api request for records, the id is also displayed as alphanumeric - I have to see the id as a number Please assist Thanks Jaco

Hello, I have lots of tabs for different locations of a tour plus a tab for tasks. In each location table I can see all my tasks associated with each record of the project. However once a task is completed I want to be able to hide it from the table view. Basically I want it to be clear at a glance where there is work to do in each location. I have worked out how to filter tasks by their status in the Task tab but seem to be unable to do so in the other tables. When I click ‘Filter’ then ‘Tasks’ the options reduce down to only: Contains, Does not contain, Empty, Is not empty. When I type Completed nothing happens. Any help would be much appreciated! Hi this question should be very basic. I have a table with names, some content, and tags. The “tags” is linked to another table. I then added a new name on the first table, but on the linked “tags” table I don’t get the new name added to the primary table. I tried linking the primary table again into a new table, and sure enough the new name shows up. What did I do wrong? Primary table (first column name…the cell with “apologetics” is the tag column that was linked to second table called “Tags”. This row, with name “DeAnn” was added after the linked table was created. [The original linked table. In the second column only one other name “#1196652” was there, but the new row added (for DeAnn) was not updated in the linked table. [I created a new linked table after DeAnn was added, and the tag column apologetics has both the first name and the new name added.]

I searched through the help and FAQs but I don’t see a direct way to reach out to billing’s customer service. I have a credit that I’m supposed to receive that isn’t appearing on my account. How do I reach someone directly?

I currently have table from partner’s bases synced to my base. For some reason that we can’t work on same base. My ultimate goal is has a table can sync and update records from partner’s base and I also can add new records from my team. 'Cause I can’t add new records at original sync table so I think about create a new table can update all records from original sync table. But I can’t figure how it work.

I’ve read many posts where the issue is making auto-filled forms read-only. I have the opposite need: making then editable - I’m getting a form messages saying forms with private links only are editable when empty. I’m on the pro plan and the form uses a read-only view having a private link with a clickable URL button which opens the auto-filled form in read-only. I’d prefer to do this within AT using no external apps. Can this done, and if so what am I doing incorrectly. Thank you.

I have a base that includes a table (“table 1”) that contains links to a second table (“table 2”) that is synced to another base. The links in table 1 were cleared automatically. The history says “Table Sync updated this record”. I can’t figure out why this happened. Furthermore, I’ve shared table 1 with someone else and they can still see all the links. The links are cleared in my view, but not cleared in their view. This sounds like a bug to me. Can anyone explain what is going on and how I can get my data back? Thanks.

Hey all! I run a philanthropy/product brand in Montreal Canada. I have recently been using Airtable to build-out bases that correspond to different functional units of my company. The only thing missing for us is a task manager. I know there are simple to-do list templates offered by Airtable but none of them are having similar logging functions to Salesforce’s task management. I was hoping to create a task manager that can log tasks, notes, a specific contact from our CRM, and most importantly a date-log. I would like to be able to assign future dates to certain tasks so that when my employees and I come into work every day we can just look at “today’s tasks”. This would also be useful to view in an “upcoming tasks” and “past due tasks” view. Thanks in advance!!!

Hi people :slightly_smiling_face: I have quite a few automations running in my base and this is nothing that interests me in the revision history. Every time I want to check who has been updating a record, I have to work through a lot of automation-information in the history. Is there a way to exclude the automations in the revision history or to only include real creators? Thanks for help!

(with Form1 for new clients) Orders – with ClientID linked field. – with Package (regular/premium single select) Now our new clients are filling the Form1 and after that we are creating manually a new Order in Orders table with this client. I want clients to fill out Form1, select a Package type and create a record in both the Clients table and the Orders Table. How to do it? Need to use third-party add-ons like miniextensions or something else?

Hello, I need help to calculate the start date of the next season based on 'today’s date and a given ‘month’ for the season start. e.g. If Today() = 2 December 2020 And Season Start = “August” (using a select field) The formula should calculate to 1 August 2021 If Today() = 31 July 2021 And Season Start = “August” The formula should still calculate to 1 August 2021 Thanks in advance!!

I have an automation that utilizes a script to update records. I needed to update the code and did so easily but now a message is showing that says “update this automation” with an update button next to it. Nothing happens when i click it. Am i missing something? thank you!

The Gantt PDF export defaults to Letter size paper. When printing from PDF to other sizes lots of space is unused. It would be preferred to be able to choose the paper size and margins when exporting so as to maximize the printing area. Thanks.

Hello, I’m using airtable to track software, on servers, in locations. I have a table setup for locations, that are linked to servers in the servers table. And the software table is linked to the server table. So software on server, in location. Is there a way that Airtable can dynamically create a lineage view so that when I put in the name of the software, it will link to the server and then the location. Or putting in the name of a location and getting the servers, and then software that’s associated? The goal of this would be for maintenance activities at any level, we’ll know what’s affected and can notify the proper location/software/server owners. TIA

This formula… ({Material Length}/{Product Length})/{Purchase Cost} With these values in their respective columns… Material Length - 48 Product Length - 16 Purchase Cost - $39.99 Gives me a cost per product result of… $.08 The result should be $13.33. What am I doing wrong?
