Hi everyone, I’m new to AirTable. I’m not sure yet if it’s going to solve my problems. I currently use MailChimp to store information about my subscribers. My subscribers may or may not be members. They may also be interested in different services / products that I offer. I have them in seven different groups in order to segment them. I collect a lot of information from subscribers to help plan social events for them. Their age, location, gender, relationship status etc is all relevant plus other things. At present I collect 30+ fields of info to help me bring like-minded people together. I email people. I call people. I sent SMSs to people. I would like to be able to track and write comments / notes on these interactions so I can see the journey my customers are taking. I also run regular events. I collect data from each event. Tickets sold, how many people arrived early, on time, late etc… how many cancelled last minute too! I’d like to

Requesting the addition to Gantt chart for mult-level grouping as we have in the tables or a “View” choice for grouping. We have a “View” choice for record color, which uses the table color conditions. This request would apply the table “Grouped by” settings to the Gantt chart. Thanks!

Hey pals, I’m trying to print a document designed in the designer app. My desired dimensions are 8.125 in. x 10.250 in. — So, when (factoring for 300dpi) I put the pixel dimensions into the designer app’s document dimension settings (2438 x 3076 px) Then export, I end up getting a document size MUCH larger. (24.61 x 30.76 in) Also, with every exported record / page I get an exported extra blank page. I’d like to not have this happening too. Thanks for your help!

Each time I try to send emails via the SendGrid app it keeps failing. It has worked successfully previously, but now it doesn’t. I don’t think I’ve changed anything, and I’m only trying to send to 40 email addresses. My email is fairly short, only 330 characters (only 50 words). I’ve tried using a new API key but that doesn’t work either. Does anyone have any ideas on why this could be? Thanks in advance.

I am trying to figure out a formula to display the linked information inputted from either column: Private Label or SKU. I was able to make the idea partially work with: IF({Private Label},BLANK(),SKU). However this doesn’t allow for if SKU is blank to use Private Label. Thank you for any help!!

Hello. I would like to embed a base with some preset filter applied which users are free to modify/remove if they wish. I know I can create a view where I apoply the filters but then users won’t be able to unapply them. I see the support article on URL filters. This seems to work when I embed an individual table. However, I would like to embed the entire base (so that users can click on linked records). Can URL filters be applied when sharing the entire base? It does not seem to work for me when I apply the same filter query in the URL as I do for individual table URLs. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help!

We have suddenly all lost the ability to scroll down through older notifications by using the ‘show more’ link. Are any other teams having this issue and does anyone have a solution?

My company is using Airtable as the primary back end for our e-commerce site. We love the UI for viewing and updating records, and we love using Airtable automations to manage processes like tracking product inventory and sending transactional emails. Now I want to incorporate our Airtable data into our Webflow site. More specifically, I want to fetch product data from Airtable on the client. However, I see two issues: I don’t want to expose our API key. Our requests to the Airtable API will likely to exceed the rate limit of five requests per second per base. Has anyone else hit similar issue while trying to incorporate Airtable data into an existing website? If so, did you find a way to safely and reliably access Airtable data from the browser, or did you have to migrate from Airtable to a tool more geared towards building APIs? I’m new to this and trying understand whether I can “get there from here”. The concept: ~ People fill out a form with the results going into a base ~ A majority of the data elements for these records are then made accessible to a public website ~ Anyone can then go to that website and do a search based on a variety of elements that were made available; they can filter, search, sort, etc to find the records that are helpful to them. Is this do-able? I was not exhaustive in my search of case studies, but have not yet found one that shows that you can do this. Thank you!

Hi, I’m having trouble getting my zap to find a record in airtable. Desired Workflow: I create a new record in Airtable and name it “wood deck” in the “Project” field. ZAP 1 triggers and creates a new task in Clockify called “wood deck”. I create a new time entry in clockify. ZAP 2 triggers and updates an “Elapsed Time” field in Airtable. Problem: I can’t get ZAP 2 to find a record to update in Airtable. I specify which base and which table to look in. Then in the “record” spot I punch in {Project}=“clockify task name” When I run the test I get an error that says record not found… Am i setting this up wrong?

Hello, I would like to create a formula that works out a date period for example the start date is 11/12/20 and 4 months later (calendar months) ie 11/04/2020 is there a formula I can use to automate this date of the 11/04 from my start date? Thanks

I have a lookup option (in Number of weeks) that has two different values. I want to be able to extract the numeric value from either of the text strings that is chosen and place that value in the AMOUNT column but I have no real idea as to how to do it. Can somebody please help me

Hello! I have three tables: Products, Bill of Materials & Pack Cards. Products & Bill of Materials are linked together, with up to 10 rows linked from Bill of Materials to each record in Products. These are manually created and do not change. The Pack Cards table is entered 2-3 times daily & is linked to both Products & Bill of Materials and contains entries of Products divided into up to 4 records based on the type of label indicated in a field (we ship plants and they require different stickers based on destination). These records look like duplicates if you are only looking at the product ID. Once I am done processing a round of Pack Cards with Page Designer, I delete the entries and re-import later, so the links are deleted. I have a script set up to run at the click of a button, but what it currently does is only links only one out of the four possible records with records in the Bill of Materials. My goal is to have all four linked up, but I’m not sure how.

So I wanted to get the API key so I could integrate some zaps, navigated to the API ‘mode’ of the desktop app and now its stuck there. There’s a big blue button that says “Open Base” that does nothing when I click it. I’ve uninstalled the app and redownloaded the latest version, and every time I open it its still stuck. Help!

Has anyone transferred off of Affinity and is only using Airtable as their CRM? Currently we use Affinity because its connected to our emails, but I’d like to tansfer off to only use AirTable, and possibly set up at Zapier connection with MailParser to get the email integrated to Airtable. I’d love to hear if anyone has ever done this and how they feel about it?

When I try to print a grid view, the print dialogue box comes on, I chose all the options I want and then click on print. Normally this used to take me to the computer’s print dialogue. Since yesterday, it starts to say “printing” on the click box and then just stop doing anything else. I have tried to print using the App on a MacOS, on a Windows, and by logging into system via a browser. All the do the same. I have tried changing the options. Nothing works. It was all fine two days ago and then it suddenly stopped yesterday. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Is there a way to color coordinate different views on a table? I have several views that all related to a topic. Then one view that lists outstanding action items. I’d love to be able to visually group these by color.

Hello, I apologize; this likely has a simple answer, but I cannot figure it out. I am trying to figure out how to reorder records in a table. There does not seem to be an option to grab and drag anything; when I try, it just fills in a check mark where the number is. I copied this airtable from another user, and this is my first time using airtable. I am very unfamiliar.

We have unintentionally deleted a question out of a form where in the past business partners would insert their delivery Zip Codes. We usually update this info on the back end ourselves to the correct coverage radius. When trying to revert back to multiple old snapshots to correct the removal of this field we get an error message. Has anyone else had this issue when trying to restore old snapshots?

I am very new to Airtable, having trial account about a week ago. So far, I really like it. And I think I want to use it for my organization. I do have a question though. As far as I know (from reading multiple posts on it on community and on the FAQ), read-only collaborator do not have to be a paid users. My question is. For key people in the organization, Airtable Plus is definitive. But for the rest, do they have to be free users? Or can I have my organization to have several Plus collaborators and the rest on the Pro level and Free level? (Can’t seem to find this on FAQ). Also for all these users. Do they each have to make account (and paid separately), or the invoice will be sent to my organization as a whole in one invoice? Most platform I know require the admin to add the users (the latter). But since there is password and domain restricted shares on view, I suppose Airtable works a bit differently? Does this mean that each user has to be

I am attempting to call a POST API outside of AirTable to kick off another process. I am passing an x-authorization header with the proper token, but am getting a Status Code 401. The request method is “OPTIONS” when I inspect the code and look at the network headers. I believe the issue has something to do with the User-Agent I’m passing (inherited from the browser) because it works fine when I send the exact same request from Postman. I’ve tried manually overriding the User-Agent to match what I am sending via postman, but still getting the 401 Status Code. Any ideas?? Thanks! Joe

Item Price Row 1: Table 100 Row 2: chair 50 Row 3: Sofa 1000 Row 4: study Table 200 I have created 3rd table with multiple records for Electricals with item and price I am looking for a solution where I open Airtable, go to Table 1 and click on “Furniture” in Column 1 and it leads me to Furniture table for details. Similarly I click to “Electrical” in Column 1 it leads me to Electrical Table Please help

Hello, I’m trying to figure out how a Form view can be pre-populated with information from a record in the grid view - if possible I’d like this information to pre-populate in the description for the form item. The goal is that Form 1 will allow users to submit information that populates a grid view. Then, Form 2 would have some information from the grid view filled-in once that record matches a certain criteria. Sorry if this has been answered and I missed it, or if this doesn’t make sense :grinning_face_with_sweat:
