We’re looking for a way to display an Airtable table view in a dashboard. Is there an app that can do this or a workaround? (An embedded page?) Thanks!

Hi Airtable Community, I have created several Page Designer apps that have been working great for months. Generating these one-page PDF documents which must be signed by our consultants with a quick turn-around has been a huge timesaver for us and we rely on them completely. We have several different versions depending upon some of the verbiage that is needed. We use Print -> Save as PDF to generate the documents needed. A member of my team just reached out to me because one of the Page Designer apps is suddenly freezing when they hit the Print button. I tested this with multiple records to ensure the problem is not just one record, and I tested other Page Designer apps that we have to see if the problem is the app itself. It does appear to be this specific Page Designer app. I also make a copy of the app in the hopes that whatever the issue is won’t be propagated, but the copy had the same issue. The CSV Import app works nicely, but I cannot seem to use it unless the AT table already contains columns. I had hoped it could use all of the first-row columns in the CSV file to auto-populate the AT table. Is this not possible, or am I just missing something obvious. Thanks very much.

Just wanted to confirm my understanding of prior postings: there is currently no AT support for prefilled forms - so the option is something like the MiniExtensions app, JotForm or Zapier. I know you can use a formula field to create a URL which prefills values, but that doesn’t seem to meet my use case. Thanks very much.

Hello, I use KODULAR to work, when reading the order fields appear out of place. Order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. as it appears: 4, 1, 3, 2, 5. Someone help me correct this error. I appreciate the help.

I’m looking to be able to filter linked records or show roll-up output as tokens / “bubbles” as opposed to simply text. Details: I have a CRM with 3 columns in my main table. 1) Deal (Short text); 2) Team member (multi select); 3) Deal Status (single select, say Status A and B) I want to create a team table where team members are the first column / “key.” I then want to have a column with Status A deals for that member and another column with Status B members. I tried linking to deals table and filtering by view but it doesn’t do anything. I then tried a rollup which worked, but has the output as a text string with commas (Deal 1, Deal 2, Deal 3…) as opposed to the typical “bubbles” or “tokens” you see with multi-select fields. Is there a way to make it show up as “bubbles” or “tokens” See below for illustration. Thank you!

I’m running into an issue trying to “group by” a linked record. The grouping works as expected when I use one linked record field, but it does not when I use another. Video here - Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software One difference is that the Contractor field is linked directly. The Project field (the one I want to use that does not work) is a Lookup field. If I create a simple Formula field that is only “=[Project]” to get it to display as text, then I can group by that formula field as intended. Has anyone run into this?

Hello everyone. I’m stumped with an apparent “bug” with the button field I’m hoping someone can resolve. I have a button configured to open Outlook (desktop) and send the contents of a record in an email, filling the addresses, subject and body using mailto code, etc. It works fine 95% of the time but every so often you click the button, and nothing happens. You can even see in the status bar at the bottom of the browser the code already to go, but for some reason…nothing. Anyone else having this issue or can suggest how to resolve it? Thank you?

I have 3 tables: Budget, Liabilities, Projections. All have different columns, but there is one Total column in each table for multiple items, and I want to link to the sum of that Total column. Example: Budget = $5,000; Liabilities = $2,000; Projections = $15,000. I want the Overview to have a row for each, with that sum value in a column. I want to have a 4th table (Overview) with 3 rows, one for each table, and one column linking the Total from each table, that’s it. How can I do this? I’ve been able to use rollup but I need a separate column for each table and it looks odd. Any way to have one column showing the Total from each table on the 4th table?

Hi everybody, I’m new here and i passed all the afternoon trying to find a solution… My boss asked me to add to an existing database photos from a folder in Google drive that have more than 6000 references. I would like to do it automaticaly, the database has only 300 specifics references and i would like that the system find which photo correspond to which record to add it in attachement files. Just as a precision if it can helps, the references of each record and the “name” of the photo are the same, i just need the system upload me this 300 specific photos not the 6000 ones. Thank you !!

Hi there: On my website, I endeavor to: collect email address from user (used as an identifier) provide an image picker for an media type (ex: PDF, jpeg) store media in a file share somewhere (ex: G-Drive, Box, DropBox, Cloudinary, Typeform) synch the media (not just URL) between the file share and AirTable Bonus: The file share uses Google Computer Vision API for OCR and template recognition (ex: Box, Cloudinary). So what’s the best file picker, smart storage (ex: Cloudinary, Box), and integration tool?

Anyone else having issues with apps loading today? I am using chart and search app, but they keep crashing. The base is working fine as long as I don’t open the app.

Hi, I am sending emails to customer after a payment is made. I am using airtable and Zapier to do it. I have to ask the customer in that email if their phone number that they gave us is correct. If not, I would like to generate an individual link to click on that I can insert in that email in order to update the phone number. The data would be updated in the customer airtable record. Do you know how do to it without code ? Maybe it typeforme and zapier or something ? I could not find anything on it. Many thanks

Good Morning Airtable Community!! Here are two screenshots from my current table. The first one shows my field (Technology Stack Managed) across several different views. The second one is where I open up a specific view and you can see all of the options for that field within the individual view. I had duplicated an entire field to get this field so a lot of views were already filled in. But I need to delete the options within that new field for each record. I do NOT want to delete the field itself, just the options that are currently there, so each view can start with a clean slate. What I have been doing so empty each field so far is I have just been X-ing out each individual option to clear the whole thing out. There must be a way to clear out all options at on

Airtable asking me for feedback in a survey but the survey is not accessible (likely permissions issue in one of their customer support forms in Airtable). See screenshot. I use outlook email so why Airtable wouldn’t want to hear my feedback to survey sent to my email.

Hello everyone, I have an airtable with a list of customers who are signed up to use a beta version of one of our software products. I have two multi-select columns, one that says “Must have features” and another that says “Important features” - many of them have multiple reasons. Each customer has a status (ex. live customer, demoed, etc) and a vertical (ex. home services, retail, etc). I want to be able to create a CHART to say - okay out of our retail customers, 10 want X feature, 5 want X feature, etc. However, customers that have more than one must have or important feature are being lumped into their own category. Unfortunately, airtable does not make it easy for me to use filters and see a count of the multi-select options. Also, this chart is extremely limited. When I try to export the data, all of the multiple select options are being lumped into one column. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can better separate out this data?

How could I use a script that does this to update two fields in my table? IF(FIND(",",{Name}),TRIM(MID({Name},SEARCH(",",{Name})+1,500))) I know it works fine as a formula but I don’t want a formula field since I want to link the email to another table. I’m pulling info from new gmail emails with zapier but there’s is always going to be two recipients and I only need the second person’s name and email.

Hi, I had multiple databases on my username. I have used another account for an extended period. Now upon logging back in, I can only find a “virgin” account with only a few sample databases as if the account was set up afresh. All my databases have disappeared. I’m logging in with the correct ID/ password (I get in without any troubles) and I have never deleted my databases. Where are they and how can I get them back?

I’m new to all this, so have a very simple question - how do I alter the width of my columns in my Base? I’ve started from scratch on my iPad with a Recipe database and I want to expand the left hand column to display the full title of the recipe, but it just won’t let me do it. I also want a narrower column which just lists the type of recipe and I can’t do that either.
