Hi, Did anybody hear about this before / try it? Integromat Airtable Integrations Integromat gives you the ability to integrate Airtable with many other services.

My boss sent me an Airtable invitation to my email so that I could make edits in our company’s workspace. I created an account with the email the invitation was sent to so I could accept the invitation, but every time I click the invitation link it brings me back to my blank default workspace. How do I add my company’s workspace to my account if not through the invitation link? Is this something I can do from my end, or does my boss need to do something?

HI, I am having troubling sharing access to people and allowing permission to edit their part of the data in the sheet. eg. There is a row that mentions five relationship managers with their client details. They should be able to view, edit and only their details to the sheet. Other RM details should not be visible. Hi, I have a view that displays some calculated values on a given order. The problem I have is that some of the calculated data is dependent on information that is outside the scope of the table. For example, one of the columns gives an estimated commission for an order. The commission, however, is dependent on each individual sales representative. What I would like is the ability to have an end-user using a view be able to fill in some “variables” that would control the calculated values in the field. Using the above example, a sales representative can enter their sales commission percentage value (unique to each person) and then have the view automatically updated the records using that value. In a typical spreadsheet application, I would just have a separate set of cells where the user could specify these variable values and then the sheet would automatically update as they changed. Is this possible within AirTable?

I am trying to set up a database to keep track of staff clearances. I have fields for each clearance with the date the staff got the clearance. Is there a way to get notifications when a staff’s clearance is going to expire? For example, the FBI clearance is valid for 2 years from the date it is run. How would I get a notification when 2 years is up and they would need to renew the clearance? Any help would be appreciated!

Hello, I am trying to set-up an email automation that uses information from Lookup fields, but when I try to use that information it says “This Property Cannot be Used Right Now”. My workaround is to create another field and concatenate the information from the Lookup field but that leads me to create duplicate columns. In Zapier, which the email automation seems to mimic, I am able to pull in the text from the Lookup fields no problem. Does anyone have a workaround they can offer? Thank you!

I am new to Airtable so I need help thinking this through as well as how to execute some of the steps. Data - I have 2 tables of records: Nominees and Committee Members. Objective - Each of the committee members needs to score each of the nominees. Those results will be averaged and displayed along side a list of each nominee. Scoring - I would like to send an email to each of the committee members with a link or form embedded in the email. That form needs to display each nominee, their website and a few other bits of info, then the committee members need to be able to score each nominee on a scale of 1-5. So the score is the only field that the committee member is asked to enter. Tabulate the Results - Do I need a separate table to tabulate the results? I see in one of the Airtable base templates the Group By feature next to the filter feature but I have no group by feature. Is there a way to add this?

Hey Guys, I am not a developer but I use Airtable for my startup. I am able to copy a lot of scripts that are useful but I can’t seem to solve this one, I would be grateful if someone can give me a code for it. I need to be able to do a sum of a field that has many clients. My problem with the roll-up formula is that the first field in my main active database is dates and not clients. Meaning, in order to use the roll-up option, I must enter manually on a linked field all the dates that each client has orders and I have a very large database, it just can’t be done. Either I need a code that automatically populates all the dates linked to this client in the linked field and then I can use the roll-up or I need a script that allows me to calculate the sum of a field based on each client (ideally the second solution looks better). I would like to delete some permissions to a workspace but do not see that option. The dialog box allows me to search by and states that “This workspace also has 19 base collaborators not represented above.” The support article on this topic says “add or modify the permission settings for yourself, other non-owner workspace collaborators, or any base collaborators on bases in the workspace.” However, I do not see that I have that option. Is this because I have a free version?

I am having issues with matching the typeform questions to the airtable: “You can now match typeform questions to specific Airtable fields to easily send answers from A to B” Even when I went to look for the compatible typeform options (Dropdown) to the airtable (Single select or multiple select) - I am still no getting it to work. Might there be a way to add an option to an embed block to snapshot and convert the embed to a jpg and store that? We use embed blocks to show graphs of current % completion of various task, once we hit a threshold it would be nice to be able to snapshot that embed block and store the result on that date. Probably would store it something like 4 or 5 times as we cross thresholds on a project. Currently the views on those days are lost or have to be manually snapshot and saved elsewhere.

Until yesterday Typeform -> Aitable direct integration was working well. From yesterday it does not work the uploading of images (from the “attachment” field of Typeform into the “attachment” field of Airtable). Everything it is automatically imported excluding the images. On the contrary, Airtable Typeform app works well. Anybody with the same problem? RColasanti

Hello Airtable Community! I just started to use the Automation feature and I’ve run into some challenges. I am NOT a developer and my Airtable base is used as a CRM for sales. What I am trying to accomplish is every time I update a specific field (Follow Up Date) within an individual record (trigger), I want to create a google calendar event for the specific date that I enter within the Follow Up Date field. As I attempted to put this automation together, I realized that the automation is doing what I asked it to do but not what I want it to do. I’ve learned that the information that I enter in the Follow Up Date is completely irrelevant because the trigger is fired on the event itself and not on the data within that field. That is my first issue. When the trigger fires, a google calendar event will be added based on the start date and end date that I select within the action and NOT by the date I have entered in the Follow Up

Is there a way to make the content on a page designer PDF conditional upon the data in your subject record? Example: I am creating a real estate flyer. The page designer template auto-populates “Bedrooms: {no. bedrooms from record}”, Baths: {no. bathrooms from record}, Garage: {size of garage from record}." However, if the garage field was left blank or “0”, I would like the page designer template to exclude that part of the verbiage. Any ideas? My backup thought is that I could potentially make add a “description” field to my records that uses an IF statement formula to nail down the different verbiage options. But that seems like a lot of work at the moment…

Hello, Can one use the URL email formula for the button field to send out an HTML vs basic text email? I believe I saw that I could possibly use SendGrid to do HTML templates. However, I’m not interested in the bulk send out to everyone within a view.

Hello! I’m new to Airtable and am SO excited at what I’ve seen so far. Thank you for such an amazing platform! I’d like to use the button field to send a templated email. I see that can be done. Very cool! My question is, can I have the email change templates based on another single-select field? Example: Customer record #1 shows “New Lead” in the status field. If I clicked on the send email button I’d like to have an “introduction email” pop up. Customer record #3 however may have a status of “New Lead - 2nd Follow Up”. I’d like the button to then auto-populate a different “follow up email” in that same view. Is this possible? If not with the email button function… could it be done with scripting or a custom app?
