Hi, I have two Airtable accounts, and try to migrate one table to another account. However, views are showing differently under two accounts. This is very annoying and can not be configured by me so far. See Attached 1 and 2. I want it to show as Att2.

How might I allow an end user to be presented only with the records in a base table that fit their requirements? When searching items on Amazon, newegg, and other shopping sites, on the left are a series of ‘refinements’ where you select attributes like color, size, and price, and the list shortens as you apply the refinements. I don’t necessarily need the dynamic sort (click an attribute, list automatically shortens) that some sites have, just a form where the user selects the options they want, clicks submit, and the results appear. Can I do this with an Airtable Block or maybe Typeform?

Hello, I want to get daily summary of records from Airtable to Slack channel. I tried it by Append Entry and Schedule Digest, but it doesn’t work. I also tried instructions from your Airtable blog, but in the Record field I can’t see Use a Custom Value.

I just discovered that the URLs used for attachments appears to be public and accessible/downloadable without a login to airtable, even for tables that are not shared For example, the following URL is to an attachment in an non-shared table, but is viable wherever I put the URL in, and presumably you can open it too: https://dl.airtable.com/.attachments/81cfc19904f7d8aea2f5e62e0584f1a7/459869a8/TESTDOCUMENT.txt This public URL was pulled from the “Download CVS” cvs export file. Furthermore, when I delete an attachment and clear the trash, the link is still live. So here are my urgent questions: How do I make my attachments secure? PLEASE HELP a big part of our process is around importing specific records that are written like this: “THIS | IS | AN | EXAMPLE” … and just recently it now breaks that single record into THIS, IS, AN, EXAMPLE… which is a nightmare to have to debug. It will cost us MANY hours to have to go back and change our naming conventions across all of our campaigns. Is there a way to decide what will or will not split a record into an array upon uploading? I knew “,” did it but “|” seems to be brand new… PLEASE HELP! PS I tested with copy and pasting, which works fine (very odd) but again, we need the upload functionality to find and replace duplicate records :confused: Hope to hear from you guys soon!

Hello, I have a table with information and I want to share this view and the person which I share can work making changes and updating that information. Should that person compulsory have an airtable account’ Caan I work at the same time? Any change that the person update in that table will be updated in the rest of the tables which are linked? thank you CRistina

Hi there! So I’ve recently started to work with Airtable and now tbh I’ve stucked in one place. So as an initial model i’ve decided to use the CRM template. In my opportunities table I wanted to add functionality which will allow three of my team members to rate/assess the opportunity. Sure, i can make three separate fields (rating fields) but it will not look good (as I will need to create fourth one for the average). So my question is - how to do it via separate table? My initial thought was to create new table (let’s call it Scoring) where the first column is a formula-based average, next three are rating fields and somehow i need to add there a list of my opportunities from the first (opportunities table). But i have no idea how to do it. Any tips on that? Because when I do it this way, on my opportunities table in a single row after double click i see all other row ratings, which is weird…

How do you show different views when you expand a card vs in preview mode? This is specifically for the gallery view. For example, I want to show fewer fields in the preview of the card and more fields when you click to expand that specific card. Also, if a field doesn’t have info, is it possible to create a filter that removes unanswered or empty fields?

Hello, My download to CSV just doesnt work. For some reason my file type is fixed at (.) all files and as such, I can’t import the file back into a new base. I have no idea why, i’ve done this several times before with no issue. Airtable isn’t allowing me to save the file as a .csv once I click download. Screenshot attached: TIA for any help!

Hello, FIRST QUESTION: If i created several views, how can I delete one? For example, If I create a view by mistake. SECOND QUESTION If I creted a view, the other person which I share it to edit it should have an Airtable account? I am trying to adopt the summaries used in the Sales CRM Dashboard to get summaries in my Product database. I have a field that makes the category into a 3 digit number. I’ve tried linking this to a one row Summary table with no luck. It doesn’t seem to matter if I link the tables from the Cards table to the Summaries table, or vice versa. Either way, when I add the Rollup that refers to the NumAbbCalc field of the Cards table, I get nothing in the Summaries record. Somehow the connection between the tables is not correct.

Hi, I’m trying to move from notion to airtable but I’m having a hard time with picture links. I have one big list and this list contains some pictures links, in notion I just put the link and automatically show the picture but in airtable I can’t do this since I have more than 5k links I cannot copy and past one by one. Does someone know some solution??? I really like airtable but I really need to use this function in notion I just put the link and the magic happens!

Hi Guys Sorry I am still a newbie and I am having a problems setting up the new button field to send an email to a customer in my base. I have entered the following formula “mailto:” & ENCODE_URL_COMPONENT(Email) & “?subject=” & ENCODE_URL_COMPONENT(Subject) & “?body=“ & ENCODE_URL_COMPONENT(Body) which gives me a problem saying Sorry, there was a problem saving this field. Invalid formula. Please check your formula text. My main email programme id Spark for Mac. The email address I want to send from is a Gmail address. Can Airtable be made to work like a task manager? I currently use Things 3 as my daily list of tasks to be done that I then ‘tick off’ to clear them from my list. Can Airtable function like this? I’ve been playing with it today and have set up basic stuff, but can’t find any way to create a sort of to do list like my Today view in Things whereby when I tick a task to complete it, it disappears from my Today view (and is stored in the log).

Hey, is it possible to let viewers who are shared the view by link can click button which run scripting block? In my case, when I was logged in as a creator, I can click the button to run script. But when the view is shared, and I tried to click the button as a viewer (not logged in), the button is disable. Because I share the view to my customer by link, and they just watch as a viewer (not signed in), I hope that viewers also are available to click the button running scripting block.

The calendar view in specific table in one of my bases has inexplicably become distorted such that it is impossible to read what appears in the columns for Saturday and Sunday in the month view of a particular calendar. It prints that way too. I normally print this calendar to see all the due dates for my painting commissions, so this has become inconvenient. Other calendars in the same base have been unaffected. I have tried refreshing, logging in and out, switching between day view, week view and back again and duplicating the view. None of those have worked. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on how to remedy it?
