Hello, Is FormNano still a good app to use for updating or adding new records to Airtable? I can’t seem to get a hold of their customer support.

My PDB report includes a Multiple Select field and the report requires a LIST format instead of the defaulted line of selected items… Q> Is there a way to have the print changed to a LIST format?

How the heck do I report bugs now? I have a linked record field that is supposed to be limited to a specific view. It works most of the time, but often enough, the entire linked table is exposed. When this linked record is functioning properly, I can hit enter, then enter again and select the desired record, as it is the first in the list. When it isn’t working properly and I do the same enter + enter combo, I select a name that shouldn’t be there. When the box closes out, no record is displayed in the linked record field. That is great, but something VERY ODD happens. The situation is this: Each project has several project contacts Each project contact is associated with one other contact (usually myself) While working on a project, if I need to add a new project contact, I simply click add new record From there, I select my name from the limited view linked record. I am using a Unity plugin for Airtable. It is asking for the API version. I can’t seem to find that in my account. Could someone tell me where it is located?

Is there a way to copy, export, or embed a block so I can show just the block (and not any of the underlying data) in a google doc? Right now I am just taking screen shots but the quality isn’t very good and the image becomes out of date very quickly.

Is anyone using Memberstack and pulling data from Airtable to make a private client dashboard. I’m using Duda as CMS and have integrated Memberstack. Now I need to pull user data, stored in Airtable, and share with each client. Stuff like “Order numbers”, “tracking #”, etc.

How can I hide certain records from being displayed? We are using an Airtable form to collect entries but only want to display people we approve to the public gallery view that is embedded on our site. Is there an affordance to hide some records? For now, we just had to create a duplicate form to act as an overall collection sheet, from where I am then copying approved entries to the live gallery directory. Can this be made more efficient/easier?

Hi, I’m not very clued up when it comes to the more complex features of Airtable so I’m hoping someone in this community can offer some assistance :slightly_smiling_face: I managed to solve part of my issue through searching these community forums here I am using UK postcodes to determine a salesperson’s region. I have a list of these vs salesperson which can be viewed here. I have a webform that is pulling into Airtable using Zapier so it populates the fields whenever a form is submitted. I’m now adding some extra fields to this so that our sales team can utilise the base as a leads tracker. I’ve got as far as using a formula to assign a salesperson based on the first 2 digits of the postcode: And that is working ok, but it leaves me with the issue of when a postcode starts with a single letter as is the case on line 5 here. I also wondered whether it’s possible to add a collaborator based on the postcode so that they would be notified, but I think that might be a step too far vs w

Hi. I am currently trying to use Airtable for collaborators to be able to review applications and then use the form to leave input. I have all the information in a couple of tables and galleries, but I think I have hit an issue. I would like each collaborator/reviewer to only see information pertaining to the applicants they were assigned and not all applicants but do not know how to do that. Do I need to create more views or am I missing something? I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks.

Hi Airtable I have an Integromat scenario to backup Airtable records, but it does not seem to work. I keep getting a RunTimeError. I am also not getting the Multi select options for each record, filled in each field. Can someone take a look? Maybe @ScottWorld? Here are screenshots of the scenario and error.

It would be great if there was a way to automatically update the field on Airtable when you change the label in a gmail inbox. Can this be developed?

Hey community! Absolutely love Airtable and its simplistic multi-functionality. I love it so much, in fact, that I would like to make it an integral part of a new function on our website. This request goes a bit in the direction of allowing “Embedded Form CSS Styling” but is a little simpler. I would just like to be able to give out a very simple airtable view as TEXT ONLY, without the background, colour, option to expand, download csv etc. I don’t mind having the Airtable logo there. Is there a way to do this, or–frankly–another plugin for WP or any other way to achieve a similar result? Thanks very much in advance!

Hi, I am making a table of companies which then list the investors in that company as a multiple select field - like ABC Company as the record name, and then “DEF Fund,” “GHI Investor” as the selected investors. I want to then import a new list of companies and investors, which would only add new ones to this list - not overwrite the existing fields - in this case, lists of investors are often incomplete so ideally I could import multiple lists of investors and companies and capture all the investor names. So for example, if I imported a list of investors and companies to the base above, which showed that that “DEF Fund” and “JKL Fund” were investors in ABC Company, I’d like the result to be all three - “DEF Fund,” “GHI Fund,” “JKL Fund”. It just adds the new ones, doesn’t remove GHI Fund because it wasn’t in the new list - only additive. Any thoughts on how to do this? Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Hi team, long time Monday.com user, trying to move my company across to Airtable. One thing my team is pushing back on is the “look” of the status columns. why has AIRTABLE SHUT DOWN?

Hi there - I am trying to learn airtable and zapier integration with this common test case - if a date is use, zap an email. Based on what I’ve read in the forum, to do that I need (1) to create a “view” report on airtable to list what’s due, (2) create a zap everytime a record is added on that airtable view, it push out an email. My questions, since Zap will execute when a new record is added on “view” will “it” work if I do not open my base table? “it” means will airtable update the “view” record daily even if I didn’t access (maybe bec I am on vacation for a week, and didn’t bring my laptop) the base table? If it does get updated automatically on the back-end, when does it get updated? Is it 1201 each morning? Is it batch mode? Just trying to figure out the update timing, so I know how best to use the integration with zap. Thank you.

I have a workspace collaborator that I want to make a base-only collaborator. If I delete them from the workspace, before adding them back to base only, will I lose their connections as Contributor in that base also be removed?

There is no way to updated existing contacts in Airtable with Google contacts via zapier. You need a “updated record” trigger in airtable. Without the ability to update existing contacts from airtable to google contacts then what does this mean from the airtable sales site: "Looking for a way to bulk manage your Google Contacts? “ Is the assumption here that no contact records are ever updated? what am i missing?

I have a list of video assets that I was originally tracking in Google Sheets. I have three sheets/tables- the first table has the main data and the following tables include tags for the videos. All the records on all three tables are the same, they just have different tags. I couldn’t link the records in Sheets and so I was manually updating the records with the tags. Now I’ve discovered Airtable and this would have made my life a million times easier. So, I need to convert those other tables into a new field and this will solve the issue of this table being too big (too many records). Because I was using Sheets, on the tags sheets, each tag is a column/field. It should just be 1 field that is multiple select that I just choose which tag applies to that video. I’ve converted one table to single select and fixed the labels, but now I need for those single select fields to all combine into one field that can become a linked record. Do I use rollup? I have multiple affiliate links and descriptions that i would like to separate from their linked record. I’d like to have D1 (Description 1) and L1 (Affiliate Link 1) to be CONCATENATE(D1, L1) However, with the lookup field pulling in the affiliate descriptions and links, they are all listed as D1, D2, D3, etc. & L1, L2, L3, etc. How can i separate them from that list and pull them into another field for other use? While maintaining a correlation between D1 and L1 and D2 & L2, etc.

From what I understand Airtable advocates using as few tables as possible. I have also come to love the working with grouped and filtered fields in Airtable. Potentially this could make it easy to filter out empty records and use one table like a catchall that could be used for multiple purposes by grouping and filtering. But from my limited knowledge about databases and spreadsheets, I have the impression that you always should avoid empty anything. Is the best practice to avoid this in Airtable as well?
