We are using airtable as our CRM system. We have an interaction tab set-up where our sales team records interactions with leads and clients. When we open the contract record the interactions need to be sorted by the “Date” field - located on the interaction area. Even with the view being sorted by date they are not appearing sorted by data on the contact record preview (sample image attached). Can anyone provide insight on how to get them to show up in the correct order?

If we don’t have the right customer we can create a new recored in customers table BUT if we use the form we can choose only from the exists customers and we do not get the option to create a new one… What do I miss?? Hi Forum, i created a Gantt block for one of my projects. The problem is that while I can change the start and end dates manually I can,t move the bars in the block view. I have tried everything to no avail. I even created a new base and copied in the bar items, which didn’t work either. i would be grateful for your help.

I’m trying to roll up a bunch of different dates. I need them comma separated in an array, so I later can replace the comma with a line break to display them on top of each other. I’ve tried with ARRAYUNIQUE(DATETIME_FORMAT(values, ‘DD-MM-YYYY’)) in my roll-up field However this only works if there is only one date, but when there is more dates then they return ERROR. Is there a way around this?

Hello Airtable Community. I’m actually not sure if the subject is the right for this question but it’s the closest I could think of. I created a formula field to autofill out instagram.com prior to a profile name to save me re-typing it every time. (Thanks to Scottsworld for helping me with that) "https://www.instagram.com" & {profilename} Is there a way to only show instagram.com if a profilename is not empty? ie nothing will show in the formula field if profilename is empty. Hope this makes sense!

Is it possible to hide fields in the expanded view? Right now the expanded views is totally unusable. We have over 100 fields in our table, but only need to see 6-10 in the expanded view. Is that possible? Thank you!

Hello Airtable Superheroes! A major frustration with the Gantt block for our team is being restricted to using two input date fields. It would be so nice to be able to have one of them be a formula, so we can drag the dates around, which would change one of the dates and then the formula can update based on a duration input field. This seems silly, because you can just drag things around already, but if someone manually updates a record’s start date (which is very difficult to control with the current permissions scheme), the end date does not automatically update, nor does the gantt automatically shift to accommodate the change. Another super feature, would be to have the gantt show how many records are scheduled for each day. Because the gantt view is so “big” and blocky, it makes a lot of scrolling up and down is required to have a an idea of the number of tasks scheduled for each day. Giving a summary in the top date bar would be a HUGE

I do not see a way to add a time field, so someone can choose 7:00am or 9pm, etc.

Hello, I am importing records into my airtable via a zap. The application at the other side of the zap allows users to submit their vehicle mileage firstly in the morning and then in the evening. A row/record is created for the start mileage, then another for the end mileage. There is a column for date, user, start mileage, end mileage. What i would like to achieve is to automatically calculate the daily mileage for each user on each day. So I need to match records that have the same date and user, then from this subtract the start mileage from the end mileage. Can anybody point me in the right direction if this is possible and if so, how it could be done? Thanks Mike

I would like to lock the permissions of editing ‘duration field’ to creators and up (that is easy), but let editors to be able to include information there ONLY by using time tracker block. My goal is to lock to the possibility to change amount of time manually. So, I can use that time duration for billing purposes. However, the problem is: IF I set permission of editing for ‘creators and up’, Time Tracker block can’t be used by ‘editors’ (my general employees) IF I set permission of editing for ‘editors and up’, Time Tracker block can be used by ‘editors’ (my general employees), but they can ALSO change the amount of time of the duration field manually (non secure information). Does anyone know how to solve that situation?

I’m building an Airtable base to manage client onboarding, management and some internal BDM - CRM features. I need some help working out how to structure ‘rate cards’ per merchant (client) initially… Each merchant has a different combination of lenders Each merchant has a different combination of finance products to offer their customers from those lenders. Each merchant may be charged a subsidy (or paid a commission) at different rates (depending on size etc) on the same product with the same lender We may receive different commission rates from the lenders so need to be able to articulate this too. The end goal here is to have a ‘rate card’ against each merchant record. I believe I need to look at the many-to-many links but just want some advice on how best to structure this. Hi - I want to be able to create a table that I can share the table and only that table with someone on the team. They would not be able to see or edit any other tables within that base. The can edit and add to the table, not just view it. Is this possible? If so how?

Hey everyone, I am a property manager with 6500 clients. I am making bases for all of my buildings with A LOT of info. What I am wondering is if I can have the client come into my Wordpress site and some either call for or go to just THEIR information? Is there any way to set up repeating tasks, I read through some of the suggestions, but they seem too complex? I was planning to convert to Airtable, but I can’t do that if there is not a way to easily set up repeating tasks. Your assistance is appreciated!!

Hello, I’m trying to configure a Zapier task to copy a PhantomBuster instagram username collection to an Airtable table. This task must to create one row per username. For the moment 1 row in Airtable is created for each PhantomBuster launch and I take 100 username per launch so everything is mixed. Is there any solution for my case to get 1 row per username or 100 rows created in Airtable from each PhantomBuster launch? Thanks and regards Thierry

A major limitation of Airtable currently is the ability to generate useful notification emails. Looking though the list of scripts on “Built On Air”, I don’t see any scripts that send emails. Have any scripts been written related to sending notification emails? Is that possible? Thank you! Paul Warren

With 5 sheets in my base I’m trying to delete the grid view for each. I want to do this to make sure that only the gallery view is available on my website. But, Airtable is not allowing me to delete it, do you have any other methods? Alternatively, is it possible to just make sure that only the gallery view is visible for all 5 sheets in the base after embedding?

I am working on a project/task management setup - I was aiming to have a field that tracks how many tasks are still open on a project. I have a project table and a task table and the tasks are connected to the projects. The tasks have the ability to be marked as complete with a checkbox. I was trying to figure out how to use a rollup field to count the amount of uncompleted tasks.
