Is there a way to view ALL of the “LONG TEXT” field without having to OPEN it? By default, it only shows the first time… is there a way to see ALL the lines? Thanks, George
I am trying to import an .ics file (generated from Google Calendar) into Airtable with the calendar block, but when I get to the mapping step, the only fields I’m able to map are the Name and the Notes. For some reason the date and time fields are not mapping.
Is it possible to access the ‘Last Modified by’ field to obtain the name of the last user that modified a field?
I’ve embedded a Gallery view on to my website. I’d love the option of linking to a working table once the content is approved to be displayed live on the site. The problem I’m having is that upon linking from one table to another, the rich text formatting is lost, and therefore no longer how I want the gallery look to appear on the website. Please help!
Hi, We have an Airtable form that might get swamped by the public. I know that the API has a general rate limit of 5 requests per second, but is form submission rate-limited in any way? For example, if we got 10,000 responses in 8 hours, which is about 20 responses per second, will Airtable melt? Thanks, Ben
I have 2 different lookup fields: Release1 = lookup individual item release date from another table ReleaseMulti = rollup multiple items release date based on condition (if its a multi-item) using MIN(Values) I then have a formula field: RELEASE = IF(Release1="", ReleaseMulti, Release1) Without grouping, this RELEASE field appears correct… for example showing 9/30/2020 in several records. However… if I group by RELEASE, I find that it will split into different groups if the 9/30/2020 is from Release1 vs ReleaseMulti in a different group This is very problematic. I know ReleaseMulti is an array value, and on a similar text based field I used &’’ trick I read on these boards which solved that issue. But in this date field adding the &’’ to the end of ReleaseMulti in my formula does not work. I also tried many combinations of arrayflatten, arraycompact, date parse, datetimeformat, etc… to no avail Can anyone advise how to get a single date from the ReleaseMulti array and conve
Hey fellow Airtablers, I just started using Airtable a couple of months ago and obviously really loving it. I noticed a few forum posts in the past about creating some kind of tracking dashboard that integrated with Airtable and couldn’t really find anything useful. Scanned through this post too: Setting up base to look for trends over time Base design Hi! I am attempting to create a base in Airtable where we can keep track of website data analytics and trends over time as well as tie it back to major page updates and changes. I believe I have a solid understanding of how to create a table for our content changes; where I am struggling is with the structuring of website analytics data. I am currently pulling data every 30 days from AHRefs and Google Analytics, looking at page value, traffic, rank, keywords, etc. We want to track how each land… One of my mentors (also an Airtable user) told me to check out this website (airtable.bilbeo.com) Just wanted
Hi everyone, im trying to use google api in my scripting block but when i’m trying to create a function and call "gapi"in it, i face with “gapi is not defined” error. Is there anyone could use “gapi” in a function?
I don’t know if you can ask this here but I was just wondering if an Airtable account can be shared, and especially if the price of an account can be shared. I am just using it for my own personal use, but find 20 p/month really to much for just someone who wants to play around with Airtable. I am now using the free plan but you can’t do anything more than I can do with Google Sheets :frowning: Please let me know. Ruben
I work for a photography company so all of my order data is imported from the photographers calendar, it then needs to be edited by our production team. I bring in the data manually from our calendar program as a .csv each day. I am trying to create a calendar for each of our retouchers so they are not overloaded. I have created a new table with each of our products and an estimate for editing time. The issue is the calendar doesn’t like computed dates. As I am using the photographers calendar the date is from yesterday and also the end time is for the photo shoot, therefore will be longer than editing time. I currently have the “date created” field (batch import same time each day), then a field for “local time zone”, a lookup field for “editing time” and a DATEADD calculation to get the “end time”. My question is, how do I then show these on a calendar or timeline so I can visually see when someones day is full. Ideally they would be stacked in the order they are listed under
Hello! I’m new to Airtable and am loving it so far. I’m creating a database for online resources, aiming to be shared public, read-only. But I’d like to know if it’s possible to have anyone create their own Personal Views on it? Mainly for Galleries Is it doable, or does it require further steps, such as anyone who visits has to become a collaborator?
I’m excited to announce the Airtable Jira import block that allows you to sync items from Jira into Airtable! Users can now collaborate with greater flexibility and visibility when working with engineering teams. As a popular bug tracking system for engineers, Jira contains a vast amount of project-related data that other teams may need. However, the interface is not always suitable for cross department workflows. Many teams are overwhelmed by Jira and only need a subset of the information that is relevant to their work. The Jira import block allows teams to import only what they need and the flexibility to organize the data to suit their process. You can read more about the functionality in the support article here: https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360046053154 To sign up for the beta, check out: https://airtable.com/shrdrxIMhGZaOpJdW
Hi! We made an Airtable form and we have a custom domain that we want to mask the form’s URL. We can get our URL to redirect, but we get an error if we try to actually mask the Airtable URL. Does Airtable block this? Our domain name provider says it is on Airtable’s side.
The Google Drive lookup for attachments displays a random file/folder structure, not the file/folder structure in Google Drive. Furthermore, not all of the files/folders are displayed. This is a change because for a long time, I was able to look up attachments in my Google Drive and the display showed the identical file/folder structure in Google Drive which made it easy to find and attach the right file. Something changed or am I doing something wrong?
This is the last post I found in the “community” on this topic with any clear response, as of July 2019. Is this still the status, or has there been an update? Replay from Cameron at Airtable: "Hi Gary, You can white label forms on[Airtable Pro but it isn’t currently possible to white label Airtable or add your own custom branding in any other way. I hope that helps! Cameron
Hey! I’m troubleshooting an issue with my base setup, and a bit stuck. Some context: I have a base with 2 tables: TV Shows and Episodes The TV Shows table includes different shows (duh), while the Episodes table includes some metadata about the individual episode The TV Shows table is populated by Zapier, which pushes new episodes to the base using an RSS feed (Create Record) The RSS feed does not include the TV Show it belongs to. Thus when the record is created in the Episodes table, there is no corresponding TV Show field that would allow me to create a linked record to the Episodes table. I’m basically trying to figure out how I can automatically add the TV Show field to a new record when it is created in the Episodes table. Ideally, Zapier would allow me to manually add the TV Show to the zap that is triggered to create the new Airtable record. And now that I type it out, maybe it’s more of a Zapier problem than an Airtable problem :)… but will create the topic
Afternoon All, Has anyone come across either of these platforms https://startinfinity.com https://stackby.com If yes, I would be much obliged if you could share your thoughts. I ask, as they simply seem to be a direct mirror of Airtable with lesser functionality but perhaps I am way off the mark. Any/all thoughts/comments welcome.
Hey everybody, I have a question. Let’s just say I update or add an airtable record which checks a certain column title. For example, I have a column title Mon_1, which I’m basically trying to say this weeks Monday at 1pm, attached. Here’s my question: Is it possible to have a formula that says if this column is checked, then generate a date and time for the column title? Today is Tuesday June 9th, so if Mon_1 was checked it would then create a date format for June 15th at 1pm? Let me know if this is unclear, but if this can be done I would be so grateful!
I’d like to figure out a formula to predict my salary over time with a cost of living raise which compounds each year. Can’t quite figure it out. Any advice?
This feature has been removed as of April 2020, as explained in this support doc. But why? This was a very handy feature, and I still need it. How else can the same thing be achieved? Is there a way? It can be done manually, but can new links to be sorted automatically (most recent first)?
I published my airtable grid on my website but want to block viewers from being able to download the grid. How do I do this???
Am trying to export or call two functions Eg. (teachers.js and student.js) that are link up to index.js but it throws error initializeBlock should only be called once. If i tried to call the both at index.js as per below, it will not work. initializeBlock(() => {<Teachers />; <Students />}); How do I solve this issue. student.js import {initializeBlock, useBase, useRecords, createRecordAsync, updateRecordAsync, updateRecordsAsync, table, useRecordIds} from '@airtable/blocks/ui'; import React, { Component } from "react"; import {base} from '@airtable/blocks'; function Students (){ const base = useBase(); const tab = base.getTableByNameIfExists('students_table'); const records = useRecords(tab); return ( <ul> <h1>Welcome to Students Records</h1> <br /> {records.map(record => { return <li key={record.id}>{record.id}</li> })} </ul> ); } //initializeBl
Is it possible to query or filter the revision history? I’d like to use this for Agile planning, and we want to know if stories are getting moved from sprint to sprint and why.
I’m doing a simple budget with Airtable, and when I had done it previously there had been a summary bar at the bottom that summarized the currency fields. Now I don’t see any such thing. Is that only part of Pro now? Did they take it away entirely? Or do you need to manually add in the summary bar?
My reactjs application is running successfully. now I need to import css file (styles.css) when I run the code after adding import "./styles.css"; it displays error unexpected token . import {initializeBlock, Input, useBase, useRecords} from '@airtable/blocks/ui'; import React, { Component, useState } from "react"; import ReactDOM from 'react-dom'; import "./styles.css"; class Access extends React.Component { //content goes here } I
