Is there a way to order attachments automatically by name?

Is it possible to create a better live experience (ex. Google Docx) where my colleagues and I could see in real time the changes done in a record?

On iPad Pro running Safari with Airtable Desktop, one cannot scroll the screen to see additional records or additional fields beyond the initial screen.

Hi all, have a few bits of Airtable am trying to get to grips with. Am trying to use Airtable as part of a Fitness studio data tracking system form everything from timetable, member base payroll etc. and have a few Qs I’m struggling with! I’m trying to make a system of understanding whether a membership is active or expired in the database (either because all classes are used up or because they have expired). I have a transactions table where all transactions are recorded (i.e. a member comes to buy a package we choose them from the database, record payment, mode of payment etc.) I then have a member database table ( airtable com/shrNoMjaaw9wc3QH9 ) that records all members, and associated data (purchases, attendance etc.) but I’m having a bunch of issues with formulae e.g. Once a package is purchased an expiry date is calculated via formulae (note all in European format - see transactions table [transaction table view example]( airtable com/shr0N872Rkq5NcQVh )) as package pur

Completely new to the application… I have been added as a Team Member in several Bases and been assigned tasks in each base. How do produce a task list for myself of assigned tasks in multiple Bases without having to go into each Base and look for them? Thanks

I am trying to set up a base to manage workload for 7 project managers, each with 6-10 projects. Design & Construction industry. I want to track the time from “Designer Selection” to “Designer under Contract,” “Schematic Design Start” to “Design Development Start,” “Design Development Start” to Construction Document Start," “Construction Document Start” to “Construction Document Approval,” and “Bid Opening” to “Construction Complete.” Right now I have a table that has each project in a row and columns for each of the dates. When I create the Gantt Chart block, it only gives me one option for a duration for each project. What am I doing wrong?

Hi there, simple question I hope. I have the Maps Block and to use it I have a geocode field which is aligned with my suburbs. There are a significant number of records in it which is taking a long time to load. I have these suburbs linked across many tables in my base. I’m just wondering, because it takes so long to load these codes, can I just have the one table with the geocodes, then for all other linked tables, can I use a lookup for the geocode? Or do I have to leave it blank for it to be auto-populated on all tables? Hope this makes sense!

I have a table of tasks that looks something like this: Task Name Owner Deadline Dependencies Task1 Ashley 3/2/2018 none Task2 Bill 3/4/2018 Task1 Task3 Cody 3/5/2018 Task1 I want to add annother column called ‘Dependency Deadline’. For Task2 and Task3 the Dependency Deadline should be 3/2/2018. The goal here is to flag a task that has a deadline before one of its dependencies. I’ve tried using the lookup feature but it requires a Link to a different table, not the same table. In excel this would do the trick: =VLOOKUP(D1, A:A, 3, FALSE) Any ideas would be appreciated. Hi! I’m new to Airtable and conditional formulas in general. I have a an airtable where I want to return a “Not Recently Scheduled” if a customer did not schedule an appointment with my company within the past 2 months, and “Recently scheduled” if they did. Previously scheduled appointments are recorded in another airtable, and I have added a lookup to this new table that pulls the dates of these previous appointments (if any) in a column called “Previous sessions”. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? I have checked out a couple of instructions but I struggle to make it work. I haven’t found a guide where the formula only checks the most recent of several recorded dates, and I also haven’t figured out if I can check the last 2 months from the date in which a person checks the airtable, without having this date stated anywhere. Let me know if it’s unclear what I try to accomplish and I’ll try to describe it in another way. Thank you!

I have a company of about 20 people and we are researching Airtable as a database solution for us. We want to talk to someone on their sales team to better understand certain features. We also have question and want to find out more about Enterprise. I have emailed a request for contact twice in the past week and a half and no responses at all, not even an auto response to say my message was received. How do I reach customer service or sales?

I’m building a public-facing base that will be embedded on a website. I’d like visitors to be able to check individual records and download only the checked items (rather than the whole base). Is this possible?

Hi All, I have exported the data from an old FileMaker Pro database that is used to track students earning points in grades 4-8 at a small rural school in Ontario, Canada. Students can earn points in three areas (Academic, Extracurricular, and Citizenship) and these are given out over three terms that coincide with progress report/report card distribution (Term 1, 2, and 3). Teachers give out points on a class list and then I manually enter those points in the FMPro database and print reports etc. I am trying to move to something web-based that allows for input from cell phone or tablet etc. I exported the data (and all of the fields used in the old FMPro database) into Airtable. I used the student’s name as the primary column and all data has transferred over correctly to Airtable. I am trying to make it so homeroom teachers (and say coaches for teams/clubs) can go in, sort the students by grade/homeroom teacher and allot the points they are responsibe for giving in each of the

I recently requested Enterprise Plan Information from Airtable over a week ago. I have not been sent any information about the costs, how to sign up etc. My company would like to move forward with this plan, however, my team needs to review the plan details and costs. This request is very time-sensitive as this needs to align with our budgeting process. Could someone advise the typical timeline for getting this information and/or more information on how to get in touch with the billing team? Thank you!

Hello, when I extend a row on the right side is a panel with the revision history and comments. On top of the panel there is a notification that says, that the revision history gets deleted after a time, depending on the subscription plan (2 weeks in free, etc). It is possible to hide the revision history and only show comments. Sometimes the notification is still there when the revision history is hidden and I wonder if the comments will also get deleted after a time. Or do they stay permanently? Regards

When in the calendar view, monthly view, how do I quickly jump to one particular day in the month, to zoom in on that one day, or start the 3 day view with that day? I can’t find any logic as to how Airtable picks the day, for the one day view? Am I missing something that is obvious?

Hello, I am creating a small database for film crew to subscribe to and become alerted of jobs when they become available. The database is comprised of two tables: Table 1: People Directory, which includes which roles each person wants to be alerted to (for example, camera operator) Table 2: Recruitment Drives, which includes which roles that particular drive is looking for (for example, camera operator) Using the Zapier intergration, I would like to have a system where I can create a recruitment drive (in Table 2) and it automatically emails the people in (Table 1) who are subscribed to whichever roles we are recruiting for. How can I make this work, so that Zapier knows which people to email depending on the roles we are recruting for. I expect it has something to do with view filters but I can’t figure it out. I have created a base that contains all the various details about all my various projects that links to other records that include people involved, places we sell, etc. When our projects reach certain stages, I would like to be able to record the date it reaches that stage, as payments are issued on those dates. Ideally, I would like to be able to check a box that we have reached that stage and in another table a record is made noting the date that box was checked that I could see in a calendar format that includes all of the projects/can be filtered to be just specific projects. I would also like to be able to click a specific record for a project and see what dates we reached that stage/payment was issued. I’m not sure how to do this or if I’m explaining this well.

Hi, I still have trouble to get gif preview working… I tried a lot of different techniques, it seems there is a size restriction, but how much? What about the format? This beta version of Field and table editing permissions - https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043139673-Field-and-table-editing-permissions-beta- has bugs… Every time when mouse cursor point to certain row, a check box will appear at its primary field. Users still can click on the check box and hit delete button to delete a / all records after setting nobody can delete records. Please disable the check box if permission is being set. Thanks.
