Trying to make a printer-friendly report from a Gallery view that I made. Can’t figure out how to get all records from one table on the same page. Any suggestions? Or is there another block that can do this?
Is it possible to display data from multiple records on a single page in this block?
I am trying to figure out how I can get more than ONE record on a page in the page designer app. It seems like you can only have one record per page. I would like to have up to 20 records on one page. Is this possible? Thanks!
I am looking for something like page designer where I can populate variables based on fields in airtable. However, I want the output to be back to back in a single document like notepad. I don’t want to deal with physical page sizes and I don’t want each record on a different page. Is there anything out there?
Hey Friends!Got an invoice table that calculates taxes before we send it out. We're in the service industry, meaning sales are done in many different counties.Currently I just have Airtable reference the address to pull the county and apply that county's tax rate.Problem is there's hundreds of different county/city tax location codes here in Washington alone (see below img) and these change every 3 months. We have to manually update them and it's brutal. Anyone know of or currently using a better system for handling taxes?
I know about the various training resources for Airtable. I am wondering what more advanced users may suggest as far as approaching how to apply the tool to particular problems. We are an HOA management group and are moving away from Town Square in order to build our own internal workflow system. Member data, project submissions, complaints, gate access requests, etc. How does one ‘visualize’ a scenario in which AirTable can address these disparate parts to our system?
Good day! I just got upgraded to Plus for a month. May I ask what happens to my records if I decided to downgrade to free plan? Thank you!
I have ordered my fields in a specific way so the most important few fields are shown when looking at the linked record preview, however, I've noticed that this isn't reflected in the mobile app. See examples below (I've blocked out the data for confidentiality).Desktop linked recordMobile linked recordIs there a way to make these the same? It's defeating the purpose of organising them a certain way.Any help would be much appreciated.
My company has been trying to reach someone from Sales to manage our upgrade to Business but has been having no luck hearing back. Does anyone have a way to get someone from Sales ti get in touch with us?
Whenever I open our Airtable calendar, it opens on July 2018. I realize the solution is as simple as clicking the “Today” button. But does anyone know how to set the default to always open to the current month?
Is it possible to hide the year in a field with the date field type? Right now entries show “4/8/2018” I just need the “4/8”.
How to create a form that adds data to existing records, rather than creating a new record? For further context; in my table, each record is a Client and their contact details are noted. I want to use a form to add their email subscription status (single select field) without doing it through a filtered grid view.I tried setting up a form in the Client table but it added a new Client record and didn't allow me to select an existing client. Any help would be much appreciated.
I've got a project where I am designing a set of similar interfaces, accessible to different users. I would like to reuse page layouts and expanded record layouts (when you open a record from the element on the interface page). I can initially reuse by copying the page, but that doesn't keep them in sync. Having to redesign the same expanding record form layout is also really painful. Is there some kind of template that can be used for the page layouts and expaded record forms?
I manage a very large grant program (100+ active grant recipients ongoing), and we're doing most of our data tracking in Airtable. We want to add a customer/grantee portal, and I have seen various Airtable add-ons mentioned. (We do not want to add each grantee as an Airtable user.)Our main need in this portal is something that can handle/track communications between our team and grantees. We need something that threads or lists all the communications that went to that particular grantee, regardless of which team member sent the message. ie: Sometimes one team member starts a conversation, then others pick up and continue the conversation. This needs to be clear and easy to follow (no massive "original message" bits tacked onto the bottom of every reply like happens when clients using ZenDesk hit "reply" in email.) It would also need some sort of notification when the grantee sends us a message. Has anyone had direct experience with any of the portal-creation add-ons to
Hi all,A couple of users on my bases are making edits on the base, such as ticking a check box or adding a comment to a record, then when they return to that record the next day their changes have been removed, ie the checkbox is unticked and the comments are gone. This is causing some quite serious issues as we rely on these manual check boxes for quality checking. Anyone come across this issue or have any advice? Thanks.
Hey Guys, Know of any resources on how to establish and maintain this sync? Can via code in python or a 3rd party solution. Preferably w/ MySQL. Thank you and cheers!
mainly a tiny rant. but i pretty much always create a new table from scratch. and Every. Single. Time i have go in and delete the extra fields that airtable always includes. i don't want Notes, and user, and status and whatnot.if it is "from scratch" it should have just the primary field.
I have a problem with the embedded view where I cannot show more details from a second table that I have more detailed data in.My workspace has two main tables:1. master view of all data at a high level and2. components view - records linked to records visible in the master viewI have embedded the master view on a webpage, but can't show any of the details from components view on this embed.Only the title of the record is visible. It is not clickable.I want the record to be clickable so that an additional layer of data is visible to users. This quick screengrab video might help:https://share.descript.com/view/yNRTx9z4mRu Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I've setup a form and I'm unsure why the pretty simple directions for "Enabling form redirects with record_ID" section from https://support.airtable.com/docs/applications-of-record-functions does not function correctly. I have gotten this to work on other forms in the past, and I'm wondering if there's some obscure reason why it won't work for this one?The redirect looks like it goes to a url with an appended newly generated rec but then it is a 404. Seems odd..Thanks for any help, much appreciated!
Hi, it's been more than two weeks since I raised this issue. My issue in upgrading the base to team Plan is not resolved. I am nearing the project submission deadline. Kindly help. @dashler78
Hello,I want to upgrade my account to a Plus plan. However, I receive the following prompt:"We were unable to upgrade you at this time. Please refresh the page and try again. If you continue experiencing problems, please contact us."Please advise.
I am receiving this notice when attempting to upgrade: "We were unable to upgrade you at this time. Please refresh the page and try again. If you continue experiencing problems, please contact us."I would think a financial ticket would be considered important.
Hi there, Looking to create a static webpage using github pages, with Airtable as a database. Has anyone here have a solution for keeping the API key out of the static files? I’ve read that using a serverless function as a proxy with a jwt can work; but not sure where to start with that. Cheers,
Hi there, Looking for some help with conditional logic in forms please. I'm creating forms with conditional logic in the main airtable base, but when I add that form to an interface the conditional logic doesn't work and isn't visible / manageable from the interface. What am I doing wrong? And how can I publish a form via an interface with conditional logic on it. Many thanks
I have some projects where I routinely (once a week or so) have to make a survey that fills out an fields in Airtable. The surveys are mostly open-ended, so there are lots of long text fields.I share these externally by, currently, simply creating a view and sharing a link to that. Not the best, since it's hard to see the questions themselves (contained in the name of the field) and there is so much text that even very tall fields made quite big get unruly. And of course Airtable interfaces don't do me much good since you have to log in. I have too many different, ever-changing clients to make anyone do that.Plus, since this is essentially new survey every single time, meaning new fields every single time, I ultimately need any setup involved to be relatively minimalAnyone have any ideas about how to display this sort of info in an easier to read manner? Or am I probably just best sticking with a shared view given the relative ease?
