I am new to Airtable and the database had me the permission to edit it. I am trying to add an option to choose from but I can't seem to "edit" nor "add" an option when trying to add one. How do I successfully do it? Edit it and input the desired option I want to add.

Hello all. I have been using AirTable for the last two years as a way of managing around 100 hard drives for the post-production company I work for. For the last year we have started to use a cloud system, however, this system has a set amount of storage that we pay for ‘working projects’ and the plan with this system is that after a certain amount of time it gets moved to a ‘glacier storage’ on the cloud which costs less to us. There is also a fee to move that a project that is in ‘glacier storage’ back to the ‘working project’ storage. All of this will need to be pasted back to our clients. So I need to have a database where I can input each project storage size and the database then calculates how much the cloud storage will be over the year and also how much it will cost to retrieve these items. So far my database consists of various identification cells (project name, client, etc) as well as couple of formula columns that work out what the total storage of each project is - these

Can we either delete the notifications altogether, or, failing that, could there be some way to indicate there are unread notifications? The way it is, I can see from the table view that there are notifications, but as they pile up, I pretty much no longer care to know about them. Thx!

Deceptively, the here described image "disappearance" phenomenon may seemingly represent no more than an insignificant, minor issue, which *only* seems to occur when at least four "simultaneous" conditions are fulfilled : [1:] dealing with a newly attached picture ( meaning uploaded after 2024.04.02.Tu.), [2:] the upload was achieved from Airtable's mobile app for i[Pad]OS, and [3:] we are attempting to fully open the new picture in again Airtable's mobile app for i[Pad]OS, [4:] after having stepped out of the given record, been elsewhere, then returning to the new imagery.OK, this is about the currently happening and most unfortunate resurging of an earlier problem, dating from nine months ago actually, then and now again regarding New Picture Attachments in Airtable on i[Pad]OS – so in fact this is about an utterly, truly undesirable and unexpected revival of what we already had to describe mid last year, when we elaborately reported on it in :::














Since this annoying problem resurged, starting apparently April 2, 2024 and not resolved a week onward, here's two further links ::: "3. Chrome has started thinking every field in Airtable is a password field and pops up the 'Do you want to save this password?' after I finish typing in any field. It is very annoying!It is also preventing me from choosing a date in a date field because it pops up the 'create a strong password' right on top of the calendar and I can't click on anything!I've tried Googling for instructions for how to block the password autofill/offer to save on just one site, but can't find instructions exactly. Is anyone else having this issue? As far as I know, I didn't change anything about Chrome, this just started happening.

Dear community, Does someone know how color a field by level of progress? For example, all tasks under 30% of completion in red, tasks between 30-60% in yellow, tasks between 60-90% in blue and tasks between 90%-100% in green? Hello, I am using the Airtable API in javascript. We cannot select anything in date fields nor single-select fields. Selection in link fields are fine. The forms are not restricted to the company's domain. They are password protected. Users use the forms on Safari app on iPads.I can fill and submit the forms without problem on a computer under my account. I assume that the problem occurs throughout 2 pm--5am UTC, but this is a guess.

When I try to add a record in the linked record field I get an error message "You are not permitted to perform this operation". It does not happen in all ‘link a record’ field but in some, randomly. The issue is occurring on my iPad and iPhone apps. It seems working fine on Safari browser on my Mac. I am the owner of the base. It started happening about 1-2 weeks ago.Any suggestions? Thank you!

We’re using Airtable as a PIM for clothing and we sometimes do modifications that creates a new style code. A lot of the information is the same (as it’s just a modification), but I don’t want to copy over any linked fields or certain notes on an item. I was wondering if it was possible to create a script that would let you select an item you want to modify and create a new item with select information from the base item. The links are in the same table FYI.

I am trying to set up a form that will collect requests for a dozen kinds of products from users (eg, shirts, hats, mugs...) I have a limited amount of each product available.Is there a way to omit certain questions if the limit for that product has been reached? The number is based on all submissions -- not just each individual form submission. I thought about adding a condition for each question related to the sum but I couldn't seem to make that work. Is something like this possible? Thanks!

Would be great if there was an option to select another attachment field as a fall-back for gallery view in interfaces

I need to add a list of countries and languages as options for a few different fields. When I open the Single Select field, it forces me to add each option one by one. This would be extremely time consuming. Surely there is a way to add options in bulk? Would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do this efficiently. Thanks, Alex

Hey Guys: Is there a way to take the result of a rollup that is comma separated and then convert it to a bulleted list in another field?

My Table A is a list of Staff members, and is linked to Table B.  Table B are records of Agreements, with one of the fields being Company (the company name of that Agreement.  We have several companies).  A record in Table A (Staff) has multiple Agreements in Table B.  We would like to have a field in Table A (Rollup presumably) to list the company of the agreement with the latest End Date.  End Date is a date field in Table B.  Here is what I tried:But I could not find a condition for the Date field to be the latest date.  Is there a way to conditionally list only the Date field with the latest date?  Thanks, Khuned

This is a serious question. I've been blown off for over a week. Heather Chambers sent me an email which completely ignored my questions and is actively ignoring me. I have a couple of simple questions and am unable to get a sales person to speak with me. I resorted to opening a support ticket and even that is proving to be a waste of time. So we've set an Airtable Automation where every day at 12:00PM it sends an email digest to the project managers to show Rush or High Priority tasks that are due today or before today. I had two questions:1. How do I set the scheduled time "everyday" except saturday and sunday? I don't want to turn it off manually every weekends and turn back on on weekdays, but only optons are "days" and "weeks" so please let me know.2. Is there a way to have the link of each task on the email? For instance, once we get those emails with the tasks due, it would be nice to have it where each task comes with the respective Airtable link that leads to the corresponding task right away. I've attached the screenshot of current automation set.
