Hello, On my Database  I have a table called "inventory".On my work spase i have two users, me as an admin and the second as an Editor user only.In the Inventory table i want that the second user will be able to create his own records and edit them, but cannot edit my records- right now he cannot delete the whole record but he can delete the values in his fields.Is this possible?

I have data coming in from interface forms that is structured with headers like this:Name 1 / Email 1 / Address 1  / Name 2 / Email 2 / Address 2.... and so on, all the way up to 100! Yes, 100!We use this data to fill in PDF forms so it must come in as 1 row (at least with the app that I am using, I am using PDF Maker by Bustbrain labs).My question is, is there a way to split this data into multiple records like this:Name / Email / Address (header)Name 1 / Email 1 / Address 1Name 2 / Email 2 / Address 2Also, I need the data to sync, so that if there's an update on the 1st table where the data is in a single row, it will also update the data in the split records.I am open to a script, automation, syncing and duplicating tables, whatever I need to do to accomplish this. All the data I need is there, I just need it in a usable format!

Hello,I have two tables that I am trying to link together.One table is an instructor table called Instructors AY25 and the first column contains the instructor name and the other columns contain instructor information, including the catalog number for the course they are teaching.Another table is a course table called Courses AY25. The first column is a catalog number and the other columns contain course information.In the Instructor table, I have tried changing the catalog number to a linked field and linking it to the Course Table. This works and allows me to look up fields from the Course Table, but the new column that is created on the Course Table that should link back to the Instructor table is empty.Here's the instructor table catalog number:I have linked this to the course table:But the column it creates on the Courses table looks like this and is empty: I want the instructor names to pull into this column.  

Hi there, I've been trying to upgrade my Airtable account from the Free plan to the Team plan, but I keep getting an error message that says, ''We were unable to upgrade you at this time. Please refresh the page and try again. If you continue experiencing problems, please contact us.'' I have tried refreshing the page and attempting the upgrade again, but I keep encountering the same error. Here's the screenshot of the error: I have checked with my bank, and my card has the required transactions enabled, so I'm not sure what the issue could be. Could anyone please help me resolve this issue so that I can upgrade my account?

Hi I was wondering if anyone would kindly help. I am creating a form from a grid view I have created. One of my fields in the grid view allows me to link with a master data base and pull all required info through using added lookups. This doesn't seem to be something that forms allows or am I missing something? Thanks for any advice.

Does anyone know if I can lock only ONE column in a grid/table so users can't sort just that one column?I understand I can lock all the columns, but I thought I would double-check if I could just lock just one. I need to understand one thing regarding billing per user per workspace. If I am the owner and at the same time creator/editor/everything of 3 different workspaces, am I charged as “one user” or “three users”? There are three of use in the team who will need access to many different workspaces. Will we get charged per email address (even if that user uses 4 workspaces) or per number of workspaces that user uses? I have been using this booking form template (here is the community post where I found it) to try and create a student registration form, but I'm running into some snags. I'm hoping someone may be able to help me. The basic requirement is below (once I have that established, I'll play around and try and make it a bit better). What I need is a form where:Student enters in their student ID.Student chooses a research topic from the list.When they submit, this reserves that topic for that student, assigning their student ID against the topic. I have five topics (for simplicity sake: blue, green, red, pink, brown), and each topic has 25 spaces available. Is it possible to only show a certain Extension Dashboard based on the selected Table view? Whenever I am in Table A, I want to see only the extension dashboard for Table A without having to select and change it every time.

Hi,I am new to Airtable coming from Xano and using Thunkable as my mobile front end.In Xano I can create and API endpoint which will allow me to search for a specific value in a column in a table.  I see that I use the AirTable API to get a record but that is by record id.If I wanted to search by a field, email address for example, how would I accomplish this?ThanksSteve

I have synced my calendar (using sync to an external calendar option under share view) to my google calendar on my laptop. I see the events from that calendar there. On my phone, I have set up to see google calendars. When I look at a date that I know there is an event for, I do not see it. Any ideas as to why I would see it on the desktop calendar, but not on my phone?

Below is what I want to do, more specifically, what training can I consume to achieve the goals outlined below. So I created an airtable app and now I want to hand it over to my client so he can do the subscription himself.Am I right in thinking the only way to do this is:create a new workspaceMake him the owner of the workspacemove the base and interface into this new workspace.It does seem overly convoluted. He is added to the current workspace but i can't see a way to upgrade his access to owner.Am I missing something?Thanks

Hi!I've got 2 bases, one for managing a list of employees and the other for managing some cars.I need to assign some tasks to specific Users from the employee base so I decided to sync the Employee details table to the Cars base.After the sync, the result table in the Cars base shows the User field (of User type) from the Employee details table as an User field (of Text type).What do I need to do, as I need the User field in User format.Thanks!

I am not a habitual Airtable user, nor am I much of a tech person, so I apologize if this question has been answered and I wasn't able to find it.I am developing a database for my perfume collection using Airtable, and for most parts of this project it's great. I would really like to be able to track the dates that I wore each scent (currently I do this in a hand-written notebook, and I have years of data that I'd love to input). I can't figure out if this is possible or how I might do it. I have seen both "no" and "yes?" posts but nothing definitive or for what sounds like the kind of tracking I am doing.Thank you very much in advance!

I am trying to link a note to a record but I've gotten error codes that always change even when I perform the same action. I've tried using different browsers, clearing cache and cookies, clearing history. Nothing works. I've submitted a ticket to AirTable but I have yet to hear from them. Nobody else internally is experiencing this. 

I am facing issue in Files Table. I have column name “File” ,I did the setup to get the size using formula, in column “File size” but that is not working now. Can you please help me with this issue? Actually, It was working till yesterday , but today it stopped working and I cannot find the formula. Hi all I’m just getting started with Airtable after seeing a fair few posts telling me I should use it instead of a CRM. I’m here but I’m not seeing what a the fuss is about? Is anyone actually using this as a CRM? As well as using it as a CRM, I want to use it as a marketing tool which I also hear it can do with ease. How do I post to social media from Airtable? There are soooooooo many videos on YouTube but none explain how to actually do it. Are there actually any good tutorials to get started rather than these clickbait ones. Thanks

What are the display dimensions of gallery view images? I want to upload the perfect size image so there is no re-scale or crop…or at least keep them to a minimum.
