Hi,I have 2 tables. One is called Dues. It has a list of members who have paid their dues by year. Each row is a member and the year. The other table is called Meetings. I t has list of meetings by date and a multiselect field of members who attended the meetings. Each row is a meeting with date and members attending.I would like to count the number of meetings each member has attended in a rollup field in the Dues table to determine of they are eligible to vote. To vote you have to have paid your dues and attended more then 6 meetings for that year. So, filter for year and and number of meetings.The list of members comes from the members table that lists all the members.Can someone point me in the right direction. I cannot figure this out.Thanks, Scott

Without using forms, but within AirTable itself, is there any option to build anything like a flow chart, where selecting different options would show different fields to input data?For example let's assume I have an employees table. Each employee can either be employed directly or via a subcontractor - for each option I need to fill out different fields, and then for each one of them they can be in different departments, and for each department I want different fields filled out once again and so on.Is there any way to do that?

I'm a novice Airtable user trying to help create a system for my wife. I've created a base with a couple of linked tables and some basic forms to enter data.  I've just created a form using the "New Forms" feature and want to take the url and use it on an iPad to allow her to "look up" customers. When I try to open it on  the iPad I get a message I need to check my email for a magic link which opens it up on my desktop. Is there no way to view these "new forms" on an iPad. The gap between what can be done on a Mac vs an iPad in the iOS app app or via the browser on the iPad is confusing. 

Hello-I have created a field with single select options. Is it possible to create a link such that when an option is selected it will link to a new field with new sub categories? Example: Field= Clothing with  Single Select Options: Skirt, pants, suit., etc.  When "Skirt" is selected, I'd like a new subcategory further defining skirt to become available either to populate the same field or a new field ex:  mini, knee, maxi, long. Hi,I'm having trouble with Airtable displaying options off the visible screen. So far I have experienced this with automation menus (first image) and creating dropdown fields (second image). Is there a way to force these menus to only appear on the visible sections of the screen or a way to scroll these back into view?Thanks for the help.   

I have a shared view that should react to data that has changed in another table in the base, however it seems to take a while before the change is reflected in the shared view. Does anyone know what the frequency of the cache refresh for a shared view is? Is it possible to change it?Essentially I have a directory of freelancers that can be used by all contributors to network with each other. Part of that networking is finding out who is near you. Each entry in the directory has a long and lat associated with it and I have implemented a function that calculates distances based on who is selected in a linked table (i.e the person selected there is the point from which distance calculations are performed).I've implemented it this way so that I don't have to get charged for geocoding API calls and because the contributors are not users on my base (they don't have Airtable accounts, they just contribute by filling in their details on a form and viewing the directory by the shared view). I've got two tables "Table A" and "Table B", that are linked. Table B utilizes the look up tool to pull certain information from Table A. However new records were added to Table A and the lookup on Table B isn't pulling that information. There's no view, filter or automation conflicting with this so why are newly created records not being found by the look up tool?

I have a Pro account, but want to allow some users to have Read Only access to an Interface I have created. I did the Share, but it doesn't show up for them on their login page anywhere we can see.Is there something I am missing to get them to view the interface?

I have a table with one field for start date and one field for end date. These dates are looked up from another table. I want to have a field that shows a concatenate of the two. Here is what I have: CONCATENATE({Estimated Start Date},"-",{Estimated Completion Date}) This is what it’s returning 2020-02-24T00:00:00.000Z-2020-02-29T00:00:00.000Z I want it to look something like, MMDDYY-MMDDYY Thanks for any assistance you provide!

our issue that we dont have laptops we use Ipad in our companynow the print function on the PDF generator Extension is working fine on Safari but it is not working at all on any other browser noting that we are using airtable web version on those applications and non of them seem to work "chrome, DuckDuckgo,Brave, Firefox, Opera "

We use QR codes and print labels using the QR codes.  However, Make cannot access the QR code anymore due to the URL's no longer working.  This happened once last week, and then was resolved.  Is anyone else experiencing this?We rely on the QR code URL and this is breaking down our entire business functionality since we can't process any new items until this is resolved.I click the URL and see 'The link you're trying to visit is not available. Please visit our support center for more information.'

A few months ago we found the "over limits" alert in our workspace, after doing an analysis we determined where our over limits attachment came from, we would like to find a way to move all the records with their attachments to another base and delete them from the origin database without losing the attachments

I am looking at to allow users to edit data stored in airtable, without being airtable users. I know how I can do this with form, or with mini extension but I am looking for a solution that would allow user to see all the data in a table, and be able to update the table directly. I have a way to make this happen with a sync between google sheet and airtable, with Make, but I am wondering if there is something else I could do here, more direct. Thanks for your help!

Hello, everyone, This is my very first attempt at using Airtable, and my first question here. My name is Rosane, and I am a programmer. We are moving our processes into Airtable, and I expect to have lots of questions coming up. I have watched several tutorials, but am not finding the answer to my current question. I need to count records in a base, and only display groups that have 9 or fewer records. I grouped my base and collapsed all so I see the counts, but I can’t figure out how not to show all counts. I am the owner of a workspace with pro licens and I want a user to be able to add values for selected records but nothing else. After some time I want to lock the values. Can this be done? In a base there is a table that allows only creators to create/delete records. The table contains sensitive data in a specific field. A view of the data filters out, say, data belonging to March and is named “march-data”. The view is locked A user with permission “Editor” is granted edit permissions in the specific field. The user can now add values in the specific field in the march-data view — great! But The user can go to the filter and “duplicate as personal view”. In the view “march-data copy” the user can change the filter to display, say, February. Now the user can change all data belonging to February — not so great! If the user has permission level “commenter” the user cannot add any values — not so good. I am stuck in between two permission levels. And I don’t think my wishes are overl

Hi, I have some data I have collected from 2 separate clients I have done work with throughout the past couple of years. Is it possible to create 2 separate tables that  pull the information from the original created table and separate them into the 2 separate tables ?The goal is to be able to continue adding data to the original table but it that will automatically update the other 2 tables. The 2 table data's with be shared with each specific client and I don't want them to see their competitors project informationHopefully that makes sense. I have attached an example of my original table and clients name is the data I would airtable to separate into different table

Has anyone used this to build a front end for a large scale use case. What did you think of it compared to it's competitors like Stacker or Softr?

One of my workspaces is showing 1.3GB / 1GB Attachment space used, so I deleted some Photoshop files that I don't need in there (as I have them saved in DropBox) and it's still showing up as 1.3GB / 1GB Attachment space. Why won't it refresh with the new, correct attachment space number?

I have a table that contains subscription dates using the date field. I’m trying to create a new grid view with a filter that just shows dates that fall into the current month. Seems simple, but I can’t figure it out. I can see how I can use the “is on or after” and “is on or before” operators, but I’d have to manually enter the dates each month. Am I overlooking a setting or is my ask more complicated than I assume? Thanks!

Recently, and inconsistently, when I update a field, the Chrome prompt for Update Password comes up. If I'm updating many fields, it keeps coming up. Extremely annoying to say the least. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a solution? I don't get this behavior in other browsers, but I'm pulling data from Google Drive and I find working in Chrome easiest. I've got a Windows 10 64-bit laptop with Chrome Version 117.0.5938.150.Thanks!

Hello! I’m building my online store using WooCommerce (on Wordpress.) Trying to think ahead a little bit, regarding how to manage inventory. I’ll outline some points of consideration, using numbers for the community to easily reference when responding: We have 306 product SKUs. Some SKUs are variations of a single product (e.g. we may have product X which has 8 variable combinations, thus 8 different SKUs. When someone buys one of our variable products on WooCommerce, the inventory on my site is automatically decreased by the amount of stock purchased. I would like to have this new inventory change, also take effect on my Airtable database, decreasing the stock number by the same amount purchased on my site) Another point to consider… When I place an order from my Wholesale suppliers I will get a bunch of new inventory for a variety of existing SKU’s. THIS is one of the main reasons I want to use Airtable to manage inventory… it’s so much easier than going to each product and updating

I find the Grouped view of tables very useful, but need to be able to get the data into Excel format for my board of directors. Is there any way of doing this without downloading the whole, increasingly large, table?

Hi, we are getting a "over limits" alert on the top right corner of our database screen. What does this mean and what can we do next? We are still using it to this moment and adding new data, will there be a problem in storing the data safely? Will it affect the current data (for example, get erased or moved somewhere else)?
