Hey,When sending my metadata in media platforms (such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Teams etc.) I see the metadata and thumbnail of Airtable.com company (attaching a photo). Is there a way to customize it so when I share my airtable URL people will see a different metadata?Thanks

Hi all, is it possible to run the “Sync now” command which synchronizes the records from the source base through a script? I would like to create an automation that has a webhook as its trigger and this script as an action. This is because I have a scenario on Integromat which sometimes fails as it does not find the record that has not yet been synchronized (despite there is a 5 minute “sleep” module). We recently encountered an issue where a user ad hoc added options to a multi select field that should not have been there.Is there any way to lock down available field options so a user is not able to add them in?

Today the "Expand the table" feature stopped working for me. I see it's happened to others in the past. I'm using the work-around of creating enough empty records in the destination table before I paste, but that's only feasible for small datasets. If there's a way to automatically create a specified number of empty records, that would be helpful, too.I don't think mismatched structure between origin and destination tables is the problem, as I had always been able to paste records into a mismatched view when I wasn't paying attention.Has Airtable has ever addressed why this happens? It would be great to be able to fix it, as my business process is heavily dependent on this feature.

I created my own Extension under "Build an extension". I've released these extension command using block add-remote , block run and block release. It working fine in that base, but I want these extension in my other bases. Is it possible to access by other bases?How and where the released Extension is findable?

Hi all,I have a table, called my Sync table, that I link whatever I need into several different tables. I want to add long-text columns to my Sync table and then hyperlink the fields. I then want to lookup those fields in all of the different tables that I'm syncing into. However, when I've tried to do this I've noticed that only the text is transferred to the Lookup field in the new table, but the text is not hyperlinked. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks!

Hi all,I am running into an issue with a new table I have created in my primary base.I want to copy a single record from Table 1 to Table 3 and the record has 15 fields.When I copy the record from Table 1, it says '15 cells copied'.When I paste the record in Table 3, I get a dialogue box saying "Do you want to expand this table?To fit your pasted data into the table, we need to add 11 more fields."When I select 'Expand the table so that all of the pasted cells will fit.' then click continue, nothing happens.Nothing gets pasted, no fields are created, nothing.I tried clearing cache, doing this on the app rather than the website, deleting the table and creating a new one, using other records and nothing is working. Is this a known bug?I created a blank table with 15 fields and that allowed me to copy the single record in, but when I tried to copy multiple records and it had to expand the table by adding more rows, I experienced the bug again. Yesterday I noticed that several of my base to base sync's are broken.In every instance the source base has a main table, with a sharable view.That view is sync'd to other bases in the workspace.Nothing has changed in the original source base to 'break' the sync.All the locations where the original base syncs out to have filters so only pertinent information is pulled across.I get the error "Unable to sync this source. Unable to sync new data" in all the bases that the source syncs to.I did find one other older post in here with something similar,  and tried those help steps that were listed, but they didn't solve the issue.I reached out to AT's live chat yesterday, and was told they couldn't help via chat.I also have a support email out, and am waiting on their response.I just thought I would ask the broader group if anyone had similar issues - appreciate any insights!

Hi! I had set up a sync from one AirTable base to this one and it was working fine until last week this little warning symbol came up and I got a sync failed message but I am not sure why the sync failed. I've tried to re-sync the bases together but with no luck. Can anyone help!  

I need to get some Airtable data into a Powerpoint/Google Slides/similar, without copying and pasting. Any ideas please? This isn’t an ongoing automation requirement, it’s a one-off. And I’m not sure merely embedding an Airtable is going to fly for the recipient. Thanks.

In a grid view, I can select multiple records and then right-click to e.g. delete this selection.Is it possible to add this selection to a linked record field in another table?

Hi The screen shot is of a table for sales in one of my bases. The 'pay window filter' field determines which pay month the date falls in, our pay windows run 25th to 24th, so 26th September would fall in Oct Pay Month. The 'Pay Month' Field formats that date into the correct Text format I want which then links to a second table called Pay Months where the record name is October 2023, November 2023 etc. As you can see from the screen shot, I've filled in a new record with a date, its automatically calculated the Pay window filter, but 'pay month' has automatically formatted the text and linked to the other table. Why is this, am i missing something? I thought this would automatically do that. I'm new to airtable just building out systems for my business, so any help much appreciated.

Hi there, Tablet : Galaxy Tab A8 SM-X200, Android 13 As the title say we just got a brand new Android Samsung Tablet for our workshop to be able to check the PDFs of manufacturing plans. However, when i click the pdf file, it displays a broken image icon.The thumbnail preview does show the first page of the plans, downloading the pdf and opening it in another app of the tablet works, i tried opening the same pdf on dropbox from the chrome browser and it works, of course on the desktop-chrome it works.  Do I need to enable anything on the tablet or app?  Thanks for the help

I am unable to remove collaborators—and keep getting billed for them every month. I go into workplace settings and view the list of billable collaborators—of which three are listed— not including myself. I click on “add or manage workspace collaborators.” However, only I am visible. A search by name or email address also produces nothing. Please advise. Thanks!

Hey Folks!When I copy and paste the contents of a multi-line rich text field, it seems to remove formatting, including the bullet levels, spacing, etc. For example:Test 1Sub note 1Note 2Sub note 2Sub note 2aIt shows up like this:Test 1Sub note 1Note 2Sub note 2Sub note 2aThis happens both when I copy and paste and also when I send a record. The send record preview also shows the unformatted bullets.  Any ideas?  

I've set up an interface dashboard that pulls in data from two different tables. Within this dashboard are two number elements that are Field summery Sums of data from the two tables. In a third Number element I wanted to use a formula to divide one by the other, I thought I could use a very simple formula for this in the element itself, but I cant. Is it possible to do what I need in the interface dashboard?

I've set up a Table for recording my Staff working hours, moving from a paper system. Each day the staff member using a form, enters the date, name and number of hours worked, site location etc. When its time for payroll I want to create views that filter for last months payroll window. Our window runs from 25th of the month to 24th of next month. So when I'm preparing payroll on the 24th October, I want the view to filter out all results except those falling in 25th sept to 24th Oct pay window. I was trying to use filter so many days ago, but this varies each month depending if its 30 or 31 days. Is there a way of setting up a filter from the 25th of last month specifically?
