Anyone else having issues logging into Airtable with two-factor authentication? The code that is supposed to be sent via text message to my phone is not going through, so I am unable to login ☹

Hi all, any help appreciated.I'm creating a Matrix and trying to use the bulletpoint "Unordered List" and check box style "Task List" options when creating the content. I am copy/pasting the syntax directly from the Markdown cheat sheet and it is working for *most* cases, but randomly not for others and I have no idea why. I've tried deleting and re-entering, typing out rather than pasting, deleting the record and starting over... There seems to be no reasoning - that I can see - for the random times it goes wonky. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I'm going to try my luck. I have a table with a lot of columns, and lots of records.  Sometimes, I need to find a particular set of records.  Considering I have say 100 columns,  I then need to locate the column. I use the "Find" feature to search for the column name, which locates it.  However, if I then have to move around the dataset to locate certain rows, I might need to move horizontally within the view, to locate certain information. This makes me end up losing the horizontal position of where that column is. Considering that there is no concept of a column index, I cannot say "Column Name" is Column Index 50 in this view, and then I can easily scroll to it.  I need to remember the scrollbar position, which is very vague.I'd appreciate if you have any advice on this matter. When I check off some of the tasks in my task list I get "An error has occurred" and I get logged out. This is happening for other users too. I did a hard refresh, cleared cache, tried from an incognito window.... Nothing. It happens in the interface and in the data view too. I think maybe ones linked to automations, altho the automations seem okay. I also tried cloning the base in case it was just corrupted. Same thing.

Is there a way to convert an existing Project to a Task? We are cleaning up/re-organizing our system. There are 4-5 existing active Projects (with notes, dates, details) all for the same client... these should really be Tasks under a single Project. I just can't recreate these as Tasks under a new Project - too many notes and details. Is there a way to move those 4-5 Projects under a new Project, making them tasks? keeping all the existing information?Example: Cat Photos, Cat Bio, Cat News Release, Cat Petting Event have all been entered into our system as Projects. I would like them to be Tasks under a single Project named Cat.Help!

Is there a way to filter a table that has been grouped and totaled (sum) by the group's total? 

Hi,I'm a relatively new Airtable admin. We have a user who can log in using SSO, but when he does he gets an error message saying that his free trial period is almost over. Since we have an enterprise account, I would think he shouldn't see that message.His account looks ok to me in the airtable admin area:(I covered over his real email address for privacy, but it looks like the rest of our users - uniqueid@dartmouth.edu.) I've tried signing him out of all sessions from the button shown, and had him log in with a different browser and a private window. None of those things helped.I opened a ticket with Airtable support, but I thought it was worth posting here as well. We do a lot of difficult things for clients - from complex integrations to crazy mapping and data visualizations. But a recent project required field-level encryption in the new Google Tables product as well as Airtable. Encryption Scenario: User fills out a form and reveals confidential information in one or more form fields targeted for encryption. The user also enters a “passkey” - think pin-code like “2998” or a password like “good1ucktryingt0geu$$this”. The form is submitted and an action script immediately transforms the entry in many ways. The target encrypted fields are combined into a collection of strings and encrypted using a 256-bit AES algorithm resulting in a single cypher key. All targeted encryption fields are set to null values. Hello, Airtable community. I have a Google Drive synced Airtable base and all Zoom call recordings are stored there. I need to use an app to show the Zoom recordings by clicking on the drive link. Is that possible anyway? Any app for that? All apps I tried, are looking for the attachment field. Thanks in advance. Dave

I’m curious if anyone else has tried pulling data from Airtable into AutoCAD. I understand that AutoCAD can connect to SQL databases or an ODBC source. That makes me wonder if I could connect to Airtable through the ODBC Data Source Administrator in Windows to then connect to AutoCAD. Thoughts or Ideas?

Hi, I am a new Airtable user and I have a problem with the display of data in Calendar view: the date of today is wrong and tasks are scheduled one day before the defined date (see attachment). If I login on the phone the dates in Calendar view are correct. How can I correct the today date in Airtabel on my PC?

I need to upgrade to Teams, but don't have time right now to  re-train myself and others if necessary.  What are the major differences between the two products?  Will the bases look and act the same in Teams as it did in the free product?

Hello, a very simple question … How can i do an ordinary percent-calculation as follows (column “Percentage”): Region +++ Sales +++ Percentage (favored result) North +++ 40000 +++ 20 % East +++ 70000 +++ 35 % South +++ 30000 +++ 15 % West +++ 60000 ++ + 30 % ++ Sum 200000 ++ Sum 100 % How is the formula for the column “Percentage”? I tried it with “Sales/SUM(Sales)” in different ways, but the result is always 1. Shame on me, but I have no idea anymore. Thanks for advice.

Hi,I have added a number of bases to a screen/page on my Samsung A53. Normally, I would just be able to click the icon and this would bring up the base concerned - but this hasn't worked in the last couple of weeks. Instead, all I get is the list of my Airtable bases after a lengthy wait (not at all unusual).Would anyone be able to offer insight?Thanks  

Hi, How do I get currency (ie. $22.00) to display the cents “.00” when exporting? I have an integromat automation that links Airtable to email and when I use mapping for my dollar amount it only shows the whole number (ie. $22.00 shows 22 – $22.50 shows 22.5). Thanks!

I am planning on doing a clean install, totally reinstalling my MAC when Apple releases the next version of the OS this Sept. In preparation I wanted to create an Air Table with the license keys and more importantly the location to the installation files. I would like to be able to click on the field and then open the location of the install files. Thanks in Advance. Steve

I have a table with many fields but only a few records. Horizontally scrolling to see all the fields when there’s a lot of empty vertical space feels weird. Is there a way to flip the display of rows and columns so the screen space is used more efficiently for these kinds of tables? To be clear - I’m not talking about pivoting the data. I just want to see rows vertically to make best use of the space.

You will realize it, if you read my post ! :slightly_smiling_face: I have a table with the dates and times of arrivals and departures of guests at the airport. I want to know the number of days I will have to allocate the cars that will transport them. The cars are rented on a full day basis. I am trying to calculate the number of days for the cars, taking into consideration the dates of arrivals and departures of the guests. I am using the formula DATETIME_DIFF({Date departure},{Date arrival},‘d’)+1 The formula is returning the result taking also into account the time of the day of the arrival and departure, and I really want only the full day. I believe that the solution is very simple, but someone can help. For example, one guest arrives on 26/06 at 11:00am and departs on 02/07 at 09:00am. the result that I’m trying to obtain is 7 days, and not 6 days Many thanks in advance…

Not knowing the specifics of your base, I’m going to just take a stab. I’ve tried to make sense of a dozen posts about merging fields, etc. but can’t find something that I can understand, to merge two fields - which are referencing records in another table. Here’s the scenario: “Table A” has hundreds of sources “Table B” has a field “Column1” which links to a few records from Table A “Table B” also has a field “Colum2” which links to some records from Table A e.g. Colmun1 might link to 6 records e.g. Column2 might link to 7 records Some of the records in Column1 and Column2 are the same. All, I’m trying to import a file doc file that exists in an airtable attachment field into Google Drive in integromat. So it actually creates a file, by the name that I have assigned. But when you open it, here’s what it looks like: You’ll notice first that it doesn’t open in editor. And what you are able to make out of the text is the address of the file in airtable (according to airtable). As far as the setup in Integromat, here’s what the settings look like:

Hello, I have a base that is currently public and a view that is also in "community" mode with presumably public settings, but logged-out users cannot access the records that I have linked in the Gallery. How can I fix this? Pictures of configuration attached.

I used the Airtable CRM template to build a CRM for my company.I have a Organization table that collects company data - a Contact table that collects individual's data - and a Events/Activity table that tracks what events/activities contacts have participated in.I currently have all of this data tracked in Google sheet.On my Contact table I have the organization table linked to the Contact table so I don't end up with two tables of data on organization.I can't figure out how to upload my contact data into the Contact table so that it uploads the organization data into the Organization table so it will be linked to my Contact table.
