Hi everyone, Hope you’re having a great week so far. I’m super excited to share a big announcement today: Codemap’s 2022 no-code market report is out, and happy to say that Airtable is the most in-demand tool within the backend/database solutions category! About the report The 2022 no-code industry report is the first ever deep dive into no-code from a user perspective and based on aggregated real-world data from thousands of clients and experts on Codemap. The no-code/low-code industry is growing and changing – rapidly. With a continuously increasing number of vendors, an evolving community ecosystem, and an accelerating pace of no-code adoption, there are many unanswered questions about this revolutionary space. While there has been a lot of progress in the areas of no-code education, the missing piece we see at Codemap in the current market landscape is the ability to gain an in-depth understanding of how no-code/low-code tools are actually used in the real world and by whom. For t
I have been in need of a Calendar view that does not compress items that exceed the max number of viewable items in a single day. The interface views all days by Month. There is no limit to the number of items that can be displayed in a single day cell. A form is included to create new calendar events. Displayed item text is very customizable and can include many fields and emoji. Here is a link to the Universe Base: Full Interfaces Calendar - Airtable Universe
Hi Airtablers! This is a silly little thing that I though some others might find useful/funny. I find myself living in my ‘demo’ base most of the time. Users come to me with an Airtable question and I often open my demo base and recreate the issue to help them solve it. When I do this I often need to make a few tables and fields quickly, yet creating a new table, naming it, renaming the primary field and deleting Notes, Attachments and Status every time is a pain. So here is a small script to keep at the top of your extensions to quickly create new tables and fields without the need to clean them up after. const config = input.config({ title: 'New Table Maker', description: 'This script lets you create a new user defined table without the default table options.', items: [ input.config.text('defaultPrefix', { label: 'Default New Title Prefix', }), input.config.select('keySuffix', { label: 'Title Suffix', description: 'A uni

Hi all  , I’m a founder at Vero. We’ve just released Vero Newsletters, a newsletter tool that enables you to connect to Airtable, query your data “in place” and send. Most newsletter products, like Mailchimp, want to both store your customer data and send your newsletters. We’ve built something different. Something more flexible: we don’t want to store your data, we just want to help you use it. This let’s you decide where you store your customer data, how you organise it, how you segment it and if you enrich it with other data. It’s early days for this product but we’ve had a great reception. I’m posting here in the hope that some savvy Airtablers see this, find what we’re doing useful and interesting and check out our new product. I’d love your feedback at this early stage  (comment here or email me: chrish AT getvero DOT com) I wrote a blog piece last week to show one way to create a double opt-in newsletter subscription list Using Airtable, Netlify and Vero Newslett
Hey there, Wanted to share an advanced base and extension we’ve built for the large multi-tasking creative department of an enterprise airtable customer. The app is used to easily identify the best qualified person for the job, availability wise, using personnel workload heatmaps: and workload charts: The solution we’ve built includes many advanced features, including: Weighted tasks Custom capacities per person (i.e. part-time capacities) Timescales, similar to the airtable timeline view Generation of batch tasks from template projects Support for multiple synced in project bases Automations to generate tasks from synced in project data Relinking of records that are linked in source bases Read more about it and schedule a demo on our website. We’re a complete custom extensions & workflow solution provider and work closely with our customers to come up with the best base design, adapt our extensions to your base and workflows, and create all your workflow automations. I have a table whose user entered fields are susceptible to errors arising from invalid conditions between two or more fields. For example: Start and end dates are optional but if both start and end date are filled out the end date must be AFTER the start date. If the value of the Type field is ‘Underwriting’ then the Underwriter field must be non blank. Depending on the value of a certain status field, the total count of linked record in another field should be just 1, or 0. I want the user to be alerted to a lot of error conditions as they enter data or view records, but I don’t want a whole bunch of formula fields alerting the user and cluttering up the users’ views or interfaces. To keep things simple for the user I created just one formula field to concatenate together all possible error checks. Each term in the concatenation returns a descriptive message if the error check logic detects a problem, or a zero-length string if the error check logic doesn’t find a problem. An extr
As developers, we get roped into codifying a vast and seemingly endless escalation of conditional processing to find and filter records and related tables. Where does it end? Apparently, it doesn’t because as soon as you create the perfect script that loops across many filtering constraints, the client (or management) is going ask for a “slight” modification or you will invariably discover an unanticipated case where you’re standing in a corner holding a paintbrush without egress. This and vastly many of our script projects are fundamentally based on two essential tasks - Filter out the data that we need Perform computations on the filtered data Typically, we use loops to achieve #1. #2 is easy if we get #1 right. But #1 is never simple and rarely performant given enough conditional complexity and records. What’s better than this approach? Fewer loops for sure because they are slow, and they make our lives shi**y. The Remedy… The term “filter”, and especially in a javascript sense, i
Hey everyone! Feels weird to be writing from the other side again but I wanted to share last week’s stream with Airkit where we built a flow to let users update their information in Airtable with Airkit. The flow Ismaen showed off doesn’t use the usual trick of adding the record ID as a hidden parameter and instead passes it through the API on form submission. Additionally, I thought it was interesting that Airkit “remembers” the session letting the user start off where they left off when filling out the information and has fields like autocomplete addresses. Let me know what you think! Excited to be back posting as a regular user :slightly_smiling_face:
In this tutorial, we’ll learn to build a system that automatically creates QR Codes for every record in an Airtable base. You’ll be able to print QR Codes for each product and attach them to your inventory shelves for easy scanning and updating information on every record. Part 1: Generate QRCodes for every row in Airtable using a formula We’ll use the QRCode API in an Airtable formula to automatically produce barcodes for each record (row) in Airtable. Part 2: Transform image file URLs to attachments in bulk with Autocode We’ll write a script to transform a bulk of image file URLs into image attachments in Airtable. Let’s get started! >>>>> https://autocode.com/autocode/threads/build-a-qrcode-inventory-management-system-with-autocode-and-airtable-tutorial-ffb392d9/?utm_source=AirtableForums&utm_medium=tutorial&utm_campaign=solutions
 Hey everyone. I’m Lizzie from Stacker and I wanted to drop by to let you know that we’re launching a couple of exciting improvements today. First, we’ve introduced a new and improved Admin experience. Here are some highlights: See all your data in Stacker — you can now view & edit data from Airtable within Stacker. This saves you having to jump back to your Airtable bases to get a full view of your data. Access all settings from one place — all your admin controls have been neatly arranged in a floating side tray so you can easily jump from editing your pages to accessing the Data Grid, and then to managing your users and adjusting your app settings. Preview As in one click — with a single click you can now see your app as your users do, right from the side tray. Secondly, we’re introducing Stacker Tables to allow you to store data in Stacker, as well as Airtable. We’ve learned that not all data that you want to use to power your Stacker apps lives in Airtable, so we’
Let’s say you have a large set of data in Airtable that you want to display in list format on a WordPress website. Tables have rows and columns to organize your data and make your collection easy to read. In this article, I showcase an example of pulling data out of Airtable using the API and displaying it with a JavaScript library to make it look good and super fast. Create a Beautiful, Highly Functional Data Table Take a look and let me know what you think.
Hi, if you’re looking to compress images that users upload into your app to save on storage space and make your app or site load faster, this tutorial might help. I’m using this to compress multiple images that are uploaded via a form to my Airtable I’ve recorded a video and made an article, you can access both on this post I made on nocodeshare.co Tools you will need: Integromat/make Airtable (obviously) Mallabe account (used inside Integromat/make) hope it helps, let me know what you think and feel free to ask any questions :slightly_smiling_face:

Movie Analytics [23k+ Movies] - Airtable Universe Hello Community, I have been working with Airtable Designer for a while. With elements and rearrangeable surface area possibilities are endless to drive the use-case. I made some effort into extracting popular movies. With Zapier, Script Block, Triggers and Automation - here is my small attempt to giveback. Checkout the interface and try putting various constraints. You can do many things such as: Avg movie length of hindi movies in 90’s Marvel Vs DC Comparison Avg profit in % made by movie Which categories are more successful (Action vs Drama) Does spending more money increase the rating Correlation between revenue and rating Revenue, Profit, Budget comparisons by different parameters and much more!! Updated Date field, more graphs and comparison view (compare your filter side by side) - are some of the new feature coming soon. Feel free to bookmark and check this out. Hi Everybody! I’ve started a new series of YouTube tutorials and thought that some of you might find this one interesting. Automations have opened up so many cool possibilities in Airtable!
Hello!Default formula fields too small? Hate using your mouse?Good news! Here’s a Tampermonkey script thatMakes the formula input field larger by default (Customizable) Allows you to set a hotkeys to: Save the field (e.g. Hitting Left Control + Right Shift will save the field) instead of clicking the Save button manually Add a new field DetailsWe can customize the height and width of the input field by modifying the following lines:let formulaFieldHeight = "350px"let formulaFieldWidth = "350px"And we can customize hotkeys to automatically hit the Save button by modifying these lines. (I used this site to get the keycodes such as ControlLeft, OSLeft etc)let key1 = "ControlLeft"let key2 = "ShiftRight"let addFieldKey1 = "OSLeft"let addFieldKey2 = "Quote"InstallationTo install it you’ll need to install Tampermonkey/GreaseMonkey/etc into your browser and just paste in the code belowNotesI think I’ve ironed out all the kinks, but one never really knows. If you encounter any bugs please feel

TLDR 4 week accountability meetups to build automated CRM for myself Do hands-on assignment before each meetup During meetup on Zoom we discuss on our hands-on experiences and answer other’s questions $50 to join - which includes an expert Q&A to answer all our questions Hi everyone! I’m building automated CRM with Airtable. But I’m not that confident to push myself to finish it, so I’d like to organize a weekly accountability group with other B2B company sales persons or marketers where Do hands-on practices in the articles Meet on Zoom weekly for an hour Discuss on the obstacles and ask and answer questions to each other Every week participants need to do hands-on practices on one’s own. Then, during the meetup, we can share and discuss on our experiences and ask & answer to each other. I’ll collect $50 for each person who joins, and use part of that money to recruit an expert who can answer our questions if we have unanswered ones after meeting. Any one who wants to jo
