I have been experiencing a problem with the project management template base not pulling projects and tasks into the my task page. When I update the project and tasks page, it does update timeline, kanban, management view, etc but for some reason that one tab does not work. I checked all conditions and it is the same as other boards I have used under this template and has not deviated. I took it a step further and tried a new project management template base and the same issue is happening where tasks do not map to that page. Is there a fix for this problem as our PMO manager liked the rolled up project view v granular details?Thanks in advance.

Hello, I work in a conservation lab, and we take items in for repair. We have student workers, and each of the students have a view of the air table that is essentially items assigned to them.In the main airtable I have a multi-select “status” field. This defaults to unassigned, but I can also assign things to myself or the students. We also have a “done/completed” in this multi-select that has an automation to date stamp another column when that is selected. The students view is based on an “assigned to” column that has everyone’s name who work in the lab in a drop down multi-select.I want to set up automations that if I select status “Conservator Workbench” in the first multi-select, it will automatically change to my name in the “Assigned to” multi-select column. If I change the status to “Student name” I want it to automatically change to the students name in the multi-select “Assigned to” column. I assume I will need to make an automation for myself and each of the student workers

Can I add our Company Logo to Interface pages and add it to printed documents from the interface page?

I manage a monthly image competition for a professional photography group that is presently managed in spreadsheets.  I’ve created four tables and I think I’ve linked them, but the look up fields don’t always populate from the linked tables. Can I invite someone to look at my workspace and help me figure out what I’m doing wrong? Hi. I think there must be a simple solution to this, but I can’t quite get my head around it!I have a make scenario that looks like this. The formula inside the Airtable ‘search records’ module is:IF(OR({AssessorEmail} = '{{6.sender.emailAddress.address}}', {AssessorEmail} = '{{6.from.emailAddress.address}}'), 1, 0)But every ‘search records’ run uses loads of credits (one for each record, - and I have over 300, as things stand).I THINK I need to create a single text field somewhere, that lists all the email addresses in the email column so that I can search the text in that field for a match, using only one credit. Is there a recommended or elegant way to do this, please? 😊

My team uses Airtable to track interactions, meaning every time we interact with an outside organization we create a new entry in Airtable. Right now, you add a new interaction using a form. Does anyone have ways of streamlining this process? For example, I would love to link my email and have a new interaction created each time I email someone with no extra work on my part. Is that possible? Has anyone found other ways to streamline this kind of tracking? I have not done much with Automations or AI Agents yet, wondering if this is the kind of thing they do?

Does anyone have a trick for generating consistent images with a field agent? I have a few collections that need to follow a template. Eg. Headshots on the same gradient background. What tends to work is what feels like a big bandaid: creating a table of ‘reference images’ and linking all the records in the collection to a template in the Reference table, looking up the file, and mapping it into the collection image field agent prompt. I have another collection where Im generating claymation style images, no template, but the output has drifted over time. I haven’t changed my configuration. Before I do the reference table setup, I wanted to see if anyone has a better solve.

It really is frustrating how everything has shifted online by default, leaving behind people who prefer physical records. Receiving a hard copy in the mail is vital for record-keeping, especially when you need to cross-reference your bills with official mailings like Charlotte County Court Notices or other formal documents. Many utility companies make you jump through endless hoops just to opt back into paper billing. Hopefully, consumer protection laws will eventually step in and force companies to keep mail-in options easily accessible.

Hi all. I’m trying to edit the displayed fields inside the Record Picker when inside of a List View, inside of an Interface. I found information saying that these fields will be ordered the same as the “View” selected when limiting the record selection in the field, but this has not been the case for me. If I disable the “Limit record selection to a View”, nothing changes either (I read it’s supposed to take the fields from the top grid view, but this didn’t happen). Furthermore, the “Primary” field being displayed is not even the primary field for the table (I checked that I’m not using the option to use a different display field). Is this a bug?

I’ve built out a fairly robust Jira replacement for our Agile team. This base has separate tables for Tasks and Sprints (among others). All Tasks have a Status, ending with ‘Done’ and all Sprints are either ‘Complete’, ‘Active’, or ‘Backlog’. My question is - what’s the best way to move any incomplete stories to the next sprint when I’m closing out the current one? I’d need to 1. Change current Sprint to ‘Complete’, 2. Change next Sprint in the current view to Active, 3. For any Tasks that are not Done but are in a Sprint that’s Complete, change them to the Current Sprint. I feel like that’s too many steps to tie to one button click, or that it would all happen too instantaneously for the stories to get moved correctly. I expect that this has been solved by others - does anyone have a nice solution?

I am looking to get help on structuring my base to track Deals, Tasks, and Subtasks without overcomplicating the fields and inputs. What I am struggling with is that some Tasks don’t have any Subtasks, so I created a separate “status” field for just Tasks. Right now I have Tasks and Subtasks in separate tables with Subtasks linked to their appropriate Tasks. This is fine, but it’s a little awkward and annoying that I have two status fields now at two different levels. Especially in interfaces.  Why do I have a status field for Tasks and Subtasks? I want to automate when all the Subtasks are complete, then that parent Task is filtered out and no longer shows on my interface. If a Task doesn’t have Subtasks, then I need to have a separate status field for Tasks so when they are complete, they will also filter out when complete.  In short, I imagine there is a solution or more efficient alternative given this is a very basic Project-Tasks-Subtasks structure that thousands of people probab

Hi, i’ve tried to remove access on business leavers in the admin panel but users reappear within seconds - even if they are just viewers and have no ownership of workspaces & bases. These are also users whose google account are deactivated. Has anyone else been able to get around this? thanks,Gemma

I’ve noticed that sometimes Airtable is unavailable for a couple of hours, and when I look through the incident history, I find there has already been a couple outages this year. Some of the systems I build for clients in industries like accounting or payroll systems needs 24/7 access, or at least a backup plan that kicks on while airtable gets fixed. Is there any known or solid method to provide a backup system when airtable shuts down?It’s been very unnerving to have clients tell me they can’t get on their systems that they need to operate their business.

Hi everyone,I'm looking for the best approach for the following use case.We have a read-only Shared View that we share with an external agency. They should be able to update only one field (Status Massnahme), which contains multiple predefined single-select status values.We do not want to give them collaborator access or edit permissions to the base.My initial idea was to include a button or link in the Shared View that would trigger an n8n workflow to update the record. However, since there are many possible status values, I'm wondering if there's a better approach.Has anyone implemented a similar workflow?Some questions: Is it possible to let external users update only one field from a Shared View? Hello - I’d be grateful if someone can help. I’ve started using Pivot tables in Dashboard Interfaces. One problem I have is that the table seems to occupy a default size and this results in the columns being too wide. I’ve put an example of a simple frequency table of fruits below.   You’ll see the name of the fruit in each row is a long way from the corresponding count number. Is there a way to reduce the column width (or otherwise reformat) so that the label and number can be right next to each other (as in standard pivot tables in Excel/Sheets)? Thanks for any tips you can share!
