Hey guys,I am receiving reports from my team that people are receiving multiple emails about any comment on a record. So 1 comment is sending 6 emails to a person. Is anyone else experiencing this bug?Thanks.

Hi there!I have made a regular airtable automation to send an e-mail when certain conditions are met. I was wondering, is there a way to have a value (not a list of values) of a certain cell in a certain row as an e-mail subject?To put it more directly, when status of an order (field order status) is "finished", an e-mail is sent where the name of the client (field client) from the same record is a part of the e-mail subject.Any help is very much appreciated!

Hi everytone!I just embbeded a calendar on my website and I would like to remove the "See Bigger Version" option, which when clicked takes the visitors to airtable full calendar version.As I just want them to interact with the calendar from my site, filling a quick form whose details go onto the calendar, is there any way to remove the mentioned option?This option is on bottom right corner of the calendar, opposite corner to the Airtable logo. Any ideas or advice is truely appreciated. Maybe this question has already been answered. However, I search for it and found nothing.I'm a new user. Is there a way to make kanban boards more colorful like adding background colors? It seems that kanban boards are mostly black text on a white background when using Airtable on the web. It would be easier on the eyes if the white background could be changed to another color of my choosing. I'd also like to change background colors for each category and each task if possible.Thanks.

When I linked field data from table A into the field on table B, I noticed that there were fields that created automatically on table A. that linked with table B. How can I stop this action? I only want data from table A to show in table B. Thank you : ))

Hi folks, Possibly being a little too ambitious here, but i'm trying to set up a Vega-lite extension to create a geographical heatmap displaying $total sales value per U.S county, using the Vega Editor example 'Choropleth of unemployment rate per County'.(Originally wanted to go with zip codes, but opted for counties to save creating a 40,000+ record table in my base just to run a single chart).I'm brand new to vega-lite and json in general, so wondering if anyone has managed to achieve this (or similar)?, or has any general tips in terms of using Vega's Geographical Map Displays in their Airtable Base?Thanks for reading 🙂

I am using a formula to calculate a date in one field, and then trying to use another formula field to determine whether a contract is current, future, or expired using that date and another manually entered date field.  The field I'm using to determine if the range returns the wrong results if I use the calculated expiration date field, but if I use a manually entered field with that same date, the calculated range returns correctly.   ExpDate:DATETIME_FORMAT( DATEADD( DATEADD( LIC__EffDate, {Term (Mo)}, "months"),-1, 'DAYS'), 'M/DD/YYYY') 

Hello!I would like to tag some records based on the text content in a column (ie: if Title contains "Tour" tag Tours). Feels like it should be pretty straightforward but I can't figure out how? Thanks! For more context: I imported all of my team's events from Outlook and realized Airtable doesn't support the "Category" feature, so I want to add tags to these events so that we can break down the data. Hi guys,We'd like to be able to import a list of around 30 items (BoM) at a time to a Cost Estimates table, create a single record in a Cost Centres table and link all the items in the BoM import to this Cost Centres record. The name of the Cost Centre record won't be known on import, so can't be specified in the importing csv. Each import should create a new Cost Centres record.I have tried playing around with automations but hit the issue of automations running in parallel and creating several Cost Centre records before the BoM records find them and start linking to them.I'm sure this can be done with a script but I'm hoping there's a way I can avoid that. If not, I'm happy to pursue that avenue and am open to some advice on how best to implement that.Thanks in advance for any suggestions!Josh

Hello helpful community,I have a primary table of People with PersonID as the key. I have 2 secondary tables, Notes and Assignments, where PersonID is a linked field. A user reads the Note, creates an Assignment, then marks the Note complete. I'm trying to create an automation where:Once a Note is marked complete,Find the Assignment with the corresponding Person, and Copy the content from a field in Notes to a field in Assignments.All goes well, I think, until the 3rd step. Here is Step 2, it yields the results I expect.Here is Step 3 where I get the "Invalid input" error message. Is there a foolproof way to do this? I use CTRL-X and CTRL-V, but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't...and it may depend on whether the columns and views are arranged the same way between the source and target tables. 

After going to interfaces and choosing the grid option there is an option to hide and show certain fields.However, all the fields that you show can either be editable or non-editable. It would be a great and easy addition to choose individually which visible fields can be editable and which not. If this was possible, you could potentially build a fully functional portal instead of using additional tools like Softr, Miniextensions, etc. for it. 

Hello.Until today, I managed to insert a tidy parcel of HTML into my Gmail automation templates resulting in beautifully branded emails. But that hack has suddenly broken across two bases. Does anyone have any idea why and how to fix it? Thanks.Kate

Apologies if I don't use any of the correct terminology when explaining this problem. I have a form set up and I want the information in each field in that table (Table A) to populate fields in other tables. I have managed to make some of this work using a trigger that watches for new records being created in Table A and creating a new record in Table B with linked fields that end up creating records in Tables C through E. I was able to set up an automation in using a trigger that watches for new records being created in Table C which happens automatically because of the linked records in Table B that then finds records in Table D and updates records with empty fields with information from a field in Table C. That's as far as I got but I am two automations short from having all of this work as intended. I am trying to build a table to calculate pricing. But, every column (which is its own product) has different price points under it, based on square footage. How can I set up a formula that will calculate each drop-down option (multiple selection), per column and total that up at the end? See screenshot for referenceFirst column is interior photos. There are four potential options in that field, so I need a formula that will calculate based on the selection I make in each column. And the same goes for every other one. 

Hi there, I think this question has been asked in other threads - but I didn’t find a straight answer to that. Is it possible to share an org chart app extension outside Airtable? I can’t find a way or workaround to do so - only downloading it as a pdf. It would be amazing to be able to have the same browsing experience (zoom in and out, collapse sections and so forth) but in a sharable link to be used somewhere else. PD: also adding a legend or some text would be nice too :slightly_smiling_face:

Can we PLEASE get a fix for this? I do a lot of data entry in Airtable, and it's very challenging to manage record changes with this setup. The Problem: If you're working in any grid view with a sort or filter applied, Airtable will often try to sort/filter the record currently being edited, before the entry is completed. If you add any text into a field, every character you add to the record will trigger the re-sort/re-filter, regardless of if you're still actively typing. Suggestion: It would be ideal if Airtable did not recognize a change to the record until the record is "de-selected" (when the user hits "enter", "tab", clicks away, etc.). It's very frustrating to have a cell I'm actively working on move within the view as I'm doing data entry. Additionally, this change will reduce processing load in Airtable, because it's not constantly trying to reorganize the data with every keystroke. Hi,Hoping that someone might be able to help me with a formula question (I'm quite new to formulas and have been fumbling along until now, but have reached the limit of my knowledge!)...I have a table of payments that have been made, each with the payment date. These Payments are associated back to a project budget and are rolled up so that, at any point, you can see the total Actual spend to date. I've got this all working well.I am now trying to add in a new field in the Project table which shows total Actual spend as at the most recent quarter end - and I'm stuck! I've managed to write a formula in the Payments table which formats the payment date into the year and quarter (so turning 2022-02-04 into 2022-1) but I now want to work out how to pull this through to the Projects table. I know that I could build a series of fields in the Projects table that rolled up (respectively) all Payments in 2022-1 and then all Payments 2022-2 etc etc, but this doesn't

Hello!I'm using the API extensively in powersave to create and update records.New records is created via `POST` and the attachment array gets processed just fine.But then, when a record is updated via `PATCH` the previous attachment seem to get partially corrupted. They can still be opened and viewed in full size but none of the thumbnail are available.I tried to send back the attachments in various formats:{ id }{ id, fileName, url }{ id: fileName }It seems to happen in all cases.Is there any way I can prevent this? Hello! the view bar that is supposed to be at the top of the airtable page, in particular such options as “hide fields”, “filter”, “group”, “sort”, “color” etc do not appear on my airtable app when using on my laptop. Same time, option to customise fields with the same above mentioned functions (filter, sort, hide field etc) as well do not show along with the dropdown arrow which is usually located next to the field title and is the way to see list of the above functions. Is there any way how to restore those options/functions and get the view bar with all the fucntions? thanks a lot in advance for help!

Hello All,I have a base for an order management system where I created an interface (Record Review layout) to display received orders. I added a field for the order status, including options such as "Received," "Damaged," and "Not Received."I want the system to open a new form for adding extra details (Logs table), such as the order number, description, and other relevant details, whenever the user selects any status other than "Received." for individual records or is there any other way to do it without using the third party solution and script.If required any more details let me know in this thread.Thanks.
