My challenge is to do a search that looks for records where my input is part of the company name. So essentially I am looking for a "contains" function.Example searches:1.Input: "sephora"Target: "company" field in record: "SEPHORA Inc."2.Input: "GoSports"Target: "Go Sports Inc."I guess the second example won't be possible but my plan is to just get all the matches based on company name, then name of the record and description and then let AI do a matching by probability and my other form inputs.I am using the search module in Make.com.My guess was to use either "SEARCH", "FIND", or "REGEX_MATCH" but no luck so far with my tests.

I have a list interface where the button to search disappeared after making unrelated changes to the interface. The search option still appears on all my other list interfaces and I can't find anything in the designer to either add or remove the ability to search the list. Any suggestions?

Why doesn't Airtable allow adding multiple pages to an interface for displaying different views?

I really like the new Overview Interface including the new Links section that allows you to connect to external URLs.  I'd really like to use the links feature on other Interface types.  For certain applications, they are better than using a button.  I don't think we can do this today.  Just thought I'd post this to make sure that I'm correct.  You never know, maybe I'm missing something.  If I'm not missing something, Airtable folks, please provide this functionality!!

We have had a number of our users raise an issue where the "Current user" value is not always being currently set as the default value when a accessing our interfaces ... it appears to be populate with the "last" user who accessed the interface!Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I'm building a planning tool, and have got a bit stuck with this.I'd like to be able to display a timeline view, which is organised by groups.I would also like to display plans that do not have a group yet assigned to them beside this. Ideally I'd be able to drag the plan into the timeline view to add it to the correct group.This doesn't seem possible, but I'm posting here in case someone is aware of a way to do what I'm after! I have a single base with a single table, that we use to track a large number of to-dos that we then assign to a handful of different users. There is a "boss" who has access to an interface that has a view that can see all of their tasks that he has assigned out (Master Interface). He will go through and leave comments from the Master Interface interface within the record, and tag the individuals so they are notified via email.We have separate interfaces so that individuals can only see the tasks assign to them, but when they are trying to open the link notifying them of their comment, it is trying to bring them to an interface they don't have access to (the Master Sheet).Can someone please help me figure out a way to use this functionality the best that will keep the following true:- Each individual can only see the items assigned to them- They will be notified of comments they are tagged in via email- Clicking the link the in the email will bring

Is there any setting to mess with or extension to install that allows you to have an attachment open, but not fill the entire browser? Unfortunately some of our uploaded attachments are scanned & handwritten PDF forms, but ideally I would like to be able to open the attachment easily in a side panel so I can both view the PDF and still access the grid view of the records and edit a few of the fields. For example, the PDF may have a date on it, name of who prepared the form, and a task all handwritten on it. It is uploaded to the table which creates an essentially empty record that just has an attached PDF and I need info from the PDF to fill out the rest of the record. Side by side would be ideal (some of the handwriting is beyond any type of attempt at image rec).

How can I fix this? It is a mobile made interface. On desktop I can see DATE as part of the dropdown options, on mobile I can't. On mobile even if I click the three lines icon to display more DATE is still isn't there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hey Airtablers,I want my sales guys to be able to click on a button, and have it perform the following functions:- Update the 'last contacted' field- then create a linked record- then open that record into expanded view <-- This is the step I'm having issues with.I can't find a script or automation that opens records in expanded view. Right now they have to click the + in the linked record field, then click the + in the drop down menu to create the linked record. It 'works' but there's room for error and I want this to be as simple as possible for them while they're on the phone. This is what that looks like:Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!Paul

Hi,I have successfully set up automated emails via Gmail on Airtable.  Everything runs perfectly except that I can't work out how to change my sender name.The screenshot below shows the problem, it needs to be capitalised and include my surname.Just to reiterate, this is when sending via Gmail not from Airtable's own service.Many thanks in advance!  

We are using a Page designer extension in our base and now we are moving towards interface. In the page designer document we have designed in a way that all the columns in a record are set in a proper manner so at the end we can save a pdf.Now moving to Interface, is there any option where we can provide direct download/print option instead of going to the base and downloading from extension?

I got a MAKE scenario that reads AT. It runs fine.I copied the table and the scenario now does not run (even with no changes whatsoever to the table). All I've done is point the AT module to the copied table.The message I get in Make is: The operation failed with an error.
