The interface makes zero logical sense.  There are no error messages.  The Help documentation is written for a specific example, not understanding of how to use the tool. The Interface is broken and non consistent.I'm a big advocate for Airtable, but this is just atrocious in design and implementation for something that is so simple in concept. 

I am building an inventory table for a company that I am integrating into their duda website to display their products. On the main inventory page, the "main" image connects to the gallery widget with no issue. On the dynamic page that showcases each individual product, I'd like to highlight the 6-8 additional product images that I've uploaded into a field in Airtable titled "product images". When I connect a gallery widget to this field, nothing appears. Is it possible to connect a widget to a group of images? If not, how can I showcase all images without creating a separate field in airtable for each on and then connecting those fields to individual widgets on the site? Image attached of my setup. 

Hello, everyone,We have already added one List page at interface designer.  Under the "User actions" section, we set the "Click into record details" and create one new Layout.   We set the field from "View" to "Edit". Now we can click the list row to slide new edit page, but we can't find the required field validation in edit mode.Is there any other approach to add the "required field" validation in edit mode?  You can find the the capture of record detail at interface page. Thanks very much !   

I'm trying to create 4 automations that update Field B when Field A matches the conditions [both are multi-select fields].For example, if Field A has any of Clothing/Fashion, E-Commerce/Retail/Wholesale, Entertainment & Sports, Field B should be updated to Traditional Industries. If Field A has any of DEI, Education, Government/Regulation, Field B should be updated to Service-Oriented. And so on.However, most records in my base fall into multiple categories, and Airtable is defaulting to the first automation listed. How can I adjust my automations to allow Field B to be updated with multiple options?

I have an automation that sends an email. Now to my question, when sending a message, there is always the sender's email address at the top and then the following (see attachment). Is it possible to remove the text highlighted in red?

I have a table that syncs from emailed data from CSV attachments. I need to be able to delete some individual records. (The data is not valid, and it's messing with roll-up calculations.) When I try to delete a record in the main record UI it's grayed out and says "To delete this new record, update this table's sync configuration so that records are deleted when deleted or hidden in the source." But I don't know how to get to the source since it's an emailed CSV? Can anyone advise on how I can get some records deleted from the synced table? Either through accessing the source data (how?) or through a script or API override of sorts? Open to any suggestions. TIA!

Hello,I would like to know how to hide some options from a field in an airtable form.For example, my grid has a column that offers the following choices: "Office", "workshop" and "housing".In the form, I would like to display only "Office" or "Workshop".The reason for this is that this form is intended for people who are not supposed to be looking for "housing". Hi All,I'm struggling with finding the right way to deal with multiple links between two tables.I have a Base with a People table, and a Milestone table, as well as a Teams table. Milestones have an Owner (link to People), and several teams (link to Teams table). Each team has a link (multiple entries allowed) to the People table. This works great for assigning people to different roles on each milestone and have a singular Owner who is leading/responsible for the milestone.However, I want to be able to go to the People table and have a list of all milestones a person is assigned to, no matter whether the person is the Owner or in a team. I have found a way to use a lookup to get all the milestones a person is assigned as a team member, but I need to add the Owner to this list. I don't want to do a simple formula doing a concatenate, because then I can't filter by People in the interface to show everything a person is working on in the calendar/timeline/lists.So; How do I combine

I have a series of automations with various linked fields, but there is one user action I am struggling to create. For some minimal context, this is for recording and calculating mineral amendments to garden beds on a small market garden.In a particular use-case, I end up with multiple records for each bed. When this happens, I need to be able to consolidate the records that share a common field (bed) into a single record. So in this case, the 6 records need to become 2 records (GH3 & Gh4) that have multiple "amendments" linked.Can anyone advise how to go about this?

 In an interface, I have a form to add diligences. And inside i have a field to choose the author from a limited view but when we want to choose the author there is no item to choose. It was always working until today I have the same trouble in other forms since today.Is that a bug?

Brand new to Airtable, so forgive me if this is a dumb question.  I've shamelessly stolen a formula to calculate start and end dates based off a T- or T+ from a specific event. DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Calculated End date},{Days Needed to Complete},'days'),'MM/DD/YY') The dates are calculating just fine, but when I try to add a Gantt view, it doesn't allow me to choose these fields to determine the dates for the Gantt.  What do I need to do to have Airtable recognize the output of this formula as a date?

Hi all!I have a list interface and I use two tabs all and focus. I know that a tab is essentially a predefined filter. But on top of the filter I want to have predefined ordering as well, e.g. the tab all ordered alphabetically and the tab focus by creation date. Hi AllI created a form for my drive team.  The form information has start time, end time, etc.  The form information goes into my master spreadsheet.  The team members do not have a paid AT account - Only I do.Is there a way that the information on the form that goes into my spreadsheet could be automatically emailed to the user that submitted the form to me?

I've tried removing parts, but then the formula doesn't create the Next Due Date.

Hello all! I created a conditional logic automation. When I test the automation, it works perfectly. However, when it comes to actually running the automation on its own, it doesn't work. Any suggestions?(When I create each one individually in its own automation, it works perfectly. However, I've hit the limit of new automations that I can create so I'm trying to consolidate using conditional logic)Below is a screen shot of the run history (that is blank) and how it runs successfully whenever I select "Test automation." PS. I'm doing this automation and have so many automations because I get reminders to do this 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days before a start date that's on my table. These reminders were all separate automations at first and worked perfectly. But doing the same thing using conditional logic doesn't work. Hopefully this was clear.

Hello --I have a base that I have created that my coworkers use in Kanban view. I would like to assign keyboard shortcuts to the various "Add Record" buttons for each column in the view. Is there a way to do this? It would vastly accelerate our ability to use the table when additional detail beyond category is not needed for each record.

I have a group database on airtable that I am trying to clean up and make more efficient using some automations.  Here is the flow: input group details into database, send a bid, send a contract, input into pms, get rooming list and input into pms,  send invoice, receive credit card authorization, take payment, send front desk instructions, send invoice for commissions, depart the group.  Here are my thoughts that I would like input on from the folks who know their stuff.  1.  Is it better to manage the flow through views or tables? My thought was to have all of the data that I need in a 'group details' table, then have a 'bid/contract', 'roominglist', 'Invoice' and 'FD instruction' tables.  I would then automatically move it through each table of the process based on a check mark or an attachment of a contract for instance. This would keep it clean as each step would then have it's own calculations that would pull from the data on the 'group detail'

Hello All,I am creating a form to compile completed project data from a small architectural firm.  One field in the form links directly to an existing table of consultants.  When that field is selected, the list of consultants is visible and selectable but once an actual consultant is selected the box never seems to populate and the 'thinking' circle just spins.Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?Thanks!

I use several different forms that let users update field values. Upon submission a new record is created in an UPDATES table and the associated record is updated in the ASSETS table. This is accomplished using Kuovonne's Prefilled Form extension.Note that if a user submits this form and the field value on the form is empty, then the associated existing value in the ASSETS table will now be empty as well, which is expected. To prevent this, I can make that field in the form mandatory in order to submit, so it contains a value.However, I am facing a situation where there are six or so fields that a user may want to update -- but may only want to update some of those fields. Is there a way to add conditional code with this logic?:Upon submitting the form     - For each field that is empty - do nothing     - Else, execute the code to update the field value in the ASSETS tableMaybe such logic can be incorporated into Kuovonne's Prefilled Form extensi

Is there a way to set the default formatting for currency fields (or for that matter other number fields) either per base or per account/workspace?Every time I create a new currency field I have to manually change $ to £ and set the decimal places. This is tedious

We have a base where users go to print documentation from specific records.Nobody is supposed to be changing the Page Designer instance at all, but I think people are accidentally adding or moving fields when they access the extension.1) Is there any way to identify who made changes to the Page Designer configuration?2) Is there any way to limit who is allowed to edit the Page Designer configuration?Currently all editors are able to edit the configuration, and I don't see any way to change it - I'm really hoping I'm just missing something.Thanks! 😊
