Dear community, I have a table in which I am tracking multiple records, each has a PDF attached to it. I am trying to create an automated report using Documint that will list all these records. I am trying to attach the PDFs to the Documint Report, but it does not display them. It works fine with image files though. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

I have an issue, and im not sure if there is any possibility to do it, but could be a great help form my data base functionality. I need to, under some circunstances which would trigger the automation, to print through an extension that specific record as a PDF, and then send it as an attachment on an email. Is that even possible?Thank you in advance

Hi.When a form is submitted I want to send an email with a PDF of the submitted form.. I know how to create automation for an email, but now I ran into a problem of how to get that PDF. I already created how the PDF will look like with extension (Page designer) but I don't know how to automate that when the Form is submitted that the PDF is created (and also sent as attachment). So bottom line: I want that the PDF is created when the Form is submitted (and also if there is possibility, that this PDF is saved in the "attachemnt" field in the same Table).  Thanks.

Hello AirTable Community,I am trying to export multiple AirTable records in one PDF. Concrete case is a list of samples that have several values, I want to create a pdf that will be handed to the lab for testing containing a list of multiple selected records in a nice format, not just a CSV. Are there any tools or extension for that? I couldn't find anything so far. If this is not possible in AirTable, does anyone know a work around? For example exporting a view as CSV and then automatically converting the CSV to the PDF format, maybe in Google Workspace? Or through the interface?Thank you very much!

I know zero about coding, apps, etc. (yes, I can hear you saying “OK Boomer”). I am looking for a basic explanation of what API is (besides what the acronym stands for, which I had to Google), and why I need it to use Airtable. I am trying to use Airtable as a shared resource for a team to track tasks and task deadlines and status. No integrating with cell phones, no accessing data from somewhere else.

I want to copy “Sum” values of grouped fields within a table, and a field’s “sum” value agnostic of groupings. The information exists, I can see it, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to copy the data for pasting into other fields and/or external applications. Currently, I have to visually reference and manually type the sum value to use the data. This is arduous and prone to errors. I feel like I must be missing something obvious…Does anyone know how to perform this basic function? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to create an automation which take entries in one table to create a record in another table. It is currently erroring out on the date field as it seems to have multiple dates in the field (not sure why since I only see one date).  Is there a way to get the latest date or the date of the current value? I have also noticed that there are other fields with multiple entries as the project information is update. Is there any way to just get the latest information? Do I have to write a script? Right now we have a few different bases where contacts live and we're thinking of restructuring our workspace so there is one master contact list. Within the master contacts table we will have filtered views that can be synced to the relevant bases. The bases where our current contacts live have automations through Airtable and Zapier with 2 way syncs with our Salesforce and other apps. In theory it makes sense to have one master list so we can easily track all of the information for each contact in one place.My fear is that creating one master list for the whole org to use (~24 people) will cause issues if there are upload errors/mistakes or automation errors/mistakes that will impact the whole org all at once. Our organization has contacts for our members (10,000+), donors, prospective donors(5k+), press contacts, political contacts, and basically anyone else we interact with. We are excited about the ability to now make Forms in the interface instead of as just a view in the data layer. A lot more customization (can you say rich text formatting in the description 🙌?!). However, I don't seem to see the option in the interface version of Forms to allow users to request a copy of their responses like it does in the "view" Form of the data layer. Is this accurate or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to create a form to simplify uploading files to a “Lookup” style attachments field. The table we work out of (Table W) consists mostly of lookup fields pulled from another table (Table S), including the attachments field in question. Multiple records are generated on Table W from Table S and we do not want to upload project files separately to every single related record on Table W. The primary field on Table S is a formula field derived from entries within that record. There are no other unique fields that can be used in a form to select a specific record to allow an upload to the desired field. Any ideas on how to make this work? I can’t show any examples of the tables, but I can try to fill in anything I may have missed in my description. This is where I am stuck, we have a few users who are unable to navigate through the linked fields to add the files to the correct place. Hi! Excited about the ability to use forms in Interface. I have a question about single select fields in Interface Forms. Currently, if you type in a new option in the single select column in the Airtable base and that option currently doesn’t exist, you can add it to the single select column by pressing enter (after you’re typed up the new option). I am not able to add new options to a single select field in my Airtable Interface form. Am I missing something or has someone found a solution for this? Thanks all!

I’m trying to design an easy-to-enter table or form where people can enter bookings very quickly. The issue is with choosing a date, a start time and an end time. In other software I’ve used - you can tap a 'Start time" field - quickly type 10 or 1030, or 10:30, or 7 or 730 or 0730 or 07:30 and the software sorts out the formatting. (This is 24hr format by the way) I’ve been trying to get something similar in Airtable and got halfway there with DateTimeParse - but it has been choking on 3-digit times (eg 730 for 7:30am). I’ve even done a formula including an IF statement to check the length of the input and try a different format. But frankly these all seem like massive cludges to fix a basic lack in Airtable - either a Time-only field type, or Input Masking - or input format forcing. I should be able to easily choose the correct format for a field and if someone enters a time incorrectly it will pop up a message to direct them to use the correct format

Hi guys, I created a simple CRM for a client on Airtable. The page for All Contacts have filters. My client would like to be able to set filters on this All Contacts page and then, from the interface, send an email to the subset of contacts she just had displayed (see screenshot below).  The solutions I have in mind don't completely meet her need:Setting automations to have emails sent to different groups of people doesn't solve her problem since she wants to be able to send emails spontaneously. Hello all, I’m trying to figure out a way to randomly generate a 6 digit randomized number for confirmation use on future bookings. So far I’ve come up with using ‘Autonumber’ and a formula to add six 0’s as a prefix. However, I’d like the number to be completely random. Hello All,I have been implementing new Form Interfaces for our candidates to fill out and I noticed that the banners and images have been getting removed; initially I thought it was because I duplicated the Form (which auto-removes the images), but when I checked on them a week later, all the images and banners were gone!Has anyone else experienced this issue? For clarity, I published and distributed 2 Form Interfaces, which I spot-checked and tested before and AFTER they were sent out to everyone. I can add screenshots if requested, but there's nothing really to show aside from the images.

Based on an earlier post on connecting airtable data to Power BI, some folks, including me, have problems reading Airtable fields/columns that have blank/missing values for some records. Based on an note from a user in the early post, I am able to revise the Airtable M Query code from the Airtable support site (https://support.airtable.com/docs/visualizing-airtable-records-in-microsoft-power-bi-power-query). I added the "List_fields"= line near the end of the query. Now the new M Query can read in all columns / fields of an Airtable table even if they have blank/missing values.Here is the revised M Query. Hi guys ! I work in a Shopify ecommerce and we are in the process of integrating Airtable into our environment. We have started to synchronize our data (Products, orders, customers, etc …) in Airtable using the AirPower app. Airtable seemed like the perfect platform until the data limit was exceeded (50,000 for the pro plan). We looked at the business plan but the 100,000 data limit seems very low. We have 63,000 customers right now so we should hit the limit sooner or later. We want to have the orders table linked with the customers table. Do you have a solution so that we can store all our data? Thank you in advance !

Require some help on moving/changing data between Airtable and Shopify, using integromat. Reason? We have items where stock is managed in Airtable and Shopify. Shopify is used for items sold online, the Airtable system for items associated with jobs within the business (the items are automotive parts, so we sell some, and use some internally). The reason the items are managed on Airtable is for integration with other data/information requirements. Stock is managed in Airtable by having 1x table that is a list of items, and one times table where a stock adjustment record is added. Example, Item A exists in the list table. On the stock adjustment table, if stock is removed, a line is added that links to that item, with ‘1’ added to a Stock Out field, likewise for stock in.
