My organization has several airtable forms for the public to use, and when a new submission is created, the form sends an email to the creator of the form (someone on staff). That staff person is leaving the organization and those emails need to be sent to someone else. Where is the setting to change this? Thanks in advance.

When someone completes a form and a new record is created in the grid, how can I notify my team about the new record?

Hello all,New to Airtable and still figuring out things.I am creating a job board, and want some data to be blurred in the main page for non logged in users. I am attaching two screenshots -- one from Airtable and the other from the app I am using to create the board. For example, I want the Company details to be blurred.Is there a way to do this in Airtable (the app itself doesn't have any). TIA 

I may be missing the obvious here but unfortunately the Airtable support pages do NOT explain this. I'm on Enterprise.It looks to me like there is no way to restrict read/write access to bases within a Workspace. I can only see "creator" and "editor" and "viewer" setting on a WORKSPACE level. All bases within that workspace seem to simply inherit those settings.At the same time, I also cannot see the possibility to sync between bases in different WORKSPACES. Or at least when I created a new workspace and a base within that, I was not able to sync/link to a base in the other workspace. What we're trying to do is simple... have interconnected/sync'd bases but each base has different write permissions for specific users. Is that really not possible?

I have an airtable graph in which I would like to export to PDF before my automation sends a message to slack. The automation message I'd like to include the PDF as an attachment. Is this possible?The issue I'm running into is the link does not show a preview to the graph and I was hopeful it would show an image preview.

Hey all! I want to create a letter within Airtable and link the letter’s PDF to a specific field. The purpose of it is to eventually send an email with the attachment connected to each record. By the way, it is possible to create the letter with Airtable’s Page Designer app. But, you can not link it automatically to a specific field. Do you have any idea what I should use to get it done?

Hello,I am using make to create a google doc using information coming from airtable. I then download the google doc into a pdf that I upload back on my google drive, it works fine.Trouble comes when i try to feed back to Airtable. I have no problem with sending back a URL into airtable to open the document stored on Google Drive.But I do not know how to send the PDF into an attachement field in airtable. Here is my Make scenario:I have tried to insert a google drive share link action before the last airtable action and to pass this share link in the attachement field. Scenario works, and attachement field is populated, but clicking on the attachement in airtable opens a blank document (the direct link to the same document does open correctly).What do I need to do to correctly populate the attachement field?Thank you for help

I am currently using Airtable to manage payment records for my team. I have set up a workflow where each team member completes a form, and based on that information, we generate a personalized invoice using the Page Designer extension. I would like to know if there is a way to automate the sending of this invoice as a PDF attachment directly from Airtable. My goal is that, once a team member completes the form, the PDF would automatically be generated and sent via email to the appropriate person. So far, I haven’t found an option to save or send the PDF directly within the platform. If anyone knows how it could be done but through some external tool or platform, I could also use that information. Hi everyone,I have the below Make / Integromat scenario:It catches a wehook URL containing a record ID, gets the data associated with that record ID to create a Google Docs document from a template.A share link to the file is then generated and used to upload the target file to an Airtable attachment field.It then searches for a state of a status single select field and depending on the state, it will create and send a pre-written email with the file in the attachement field attached to it, unshare the file and change the state of the status field to disable further sending.My problem is that what is uploaded to the attachment field is not the actual file but the share link to it.For security reason, I would like to unshare the file once it is uploaded since I read that once a file is uploaded to an attachment field, Airtable replace it

Hi, everyone!We are using Page Designer for creating our Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes and so on. But when we create the file, it is only allowing to print or save as PDF option. It is really handy that taking data from two tables when creating documents with Page Designer. I wonder if it is possible to automate Page Designer to save it into attachment section in related row. If it is not, we are using Make for automations, how can we achieve that goal? Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance!

I have an interface with a Field of the "Linked to another record" type. I want users to be able to either add or remove a connection to an existing record, OR to add a new linked record. I can set the field to allow these two things independently:However, in the interface both of these things don't work. If I allow for both, users can only remove the connection or add a connection to an existing record. However there is no way to add a new linked record. If i disallow the "Allow users to link/unlink", then users CAN add a new linked record. I want both of these things to be possible, as the interface field settings seem to imply.Am I missing something?

Hi all,So I have a table of client records. I have about 30 columns with various pieces of information in each. Some of them are drop-downs, checkboxes, some are single lines of text or numbers, etc. What I need to be able to do is to output information from certain columns into something like a PDF in order to create a "job sheet" for our surveyors, with only the information from certain columns that are relevant to their work. Is there a way to do this?At the minute I have to scroll left to right, manually copy and pasting each cell into a Word document, which is incredibly time-consuming. Does anybody have a workaround for this?Many thanks in advance.

Hi all, Hoping someone can help with a solution! My company has numerous assets that are “active” for long periods of time. I have a formula to calculate the “Active Status” based on the Asset Launch Date & Asset End Date (see below for reference). I would like to make an additional field that lists ALL dates an asset is going to be active based on the start and end dates (placeholder included in the image above). For example, if Asset Launch Date = 9/1/22 & Asset End Date = 9/5/22, I’d like the ALL ACTIVE DATES field to read: “9/1/22, 9/2/22, 9/3/22, 9/4/22, 9/5/22” Note: This field would be hidden 99.9% of the time and ONLY used in an Interface Filter element to allow users to type in specific dates (i.e. 9/3/22) and see the assets that will be “A

I'm trying to create a base that can track all the annual membership payments and also send them an automatic email 2 weeks before the renewal date (based on the MEMBERSHIP JOINING DATE) is due, plus two more reminder emails with intervals of 2 weeks. I only have 1 table to work as I can't figure out how to implement it if I create another table within the base. So the VIEW that I have is Annual membership fees. In that view, I have theMEMBER'S NAMEMEMBERSHIP JOINING DATE20232024I really want to have a current year renewal date based on the Member's membership joining date (column) but I don't know the formula.Then use that as the basis trigger for my renewal notice email for the members. Plus two more follow-up emails.Until they have the PAID mark on the current year. I hope I make sense. Thanks in advance for your help.  

I'm trying to set up an automation where 1 hour before a call date & time, sends an email to remind the person. I've tried creating a column to have a formula that is the date & time matches now - mark as "SEND NOTIFICATION" but this doesn't seem to work properly. I don't know if this is because the time is in PST and I'm in GMT. But does anyone cleverer at this than me help with a simple solution.Thank you!

Hi all, first of all, I’m a non-native English speaker, please keep that in mind, in case my question isn’t understandable :slightly_smiling_face: I’m quite struggling to explain it in german, my native language. I’m new to airtable and trying to set up a registration form with limited record entries. The form should not accept any input after, let’s say 30 entries, since the registration is limited. Is there any way I can limit the records in a table? I found some posts about different field types like formula, rollup and count, but they all refer to linked records and that’s what I don’t understand. Do I need a second table for this? And if yes, how do I accomplish this? Is it possible to limit records in general? I’m grateful for any hint. kimon

Hello, Community! My organization uses forms and survey extensively. We’re in small business services so we typically have a select field that allows users to pick their preferred language. From there, we create conditional fields based on their language preference. My issue is that I get records that are in multiple languages and have to use long and cumbersome formulas in the destination table to combine the responses and get them all back into English for reporting. Does anyone know a better solution that would conditionally convert everything back to the English response values? For example { if (person chooses response X-c in Chinese) then (data submitted is equivalent response X-e in English) }. Thanks a ton for your help!

Hello! We are using Airtable for a project plan, where we have one table with tasks and one table with milestones (several tasks are linked to each milestone). We would like to calculate the percentage of tasks completed for each milestone in the milestone table, so we can quickly see that for a specific milestone e.g. 70% of the tasks in the task table have a status of ‘complete’.
