Hey all, So, I’m trying to create a good poker league base, to track our friendly poker club results. I’m the only editor and I’m thinking about creating forms to allow other to enlist themselves to tournaments, I’ll create. So far, the base structure is: Players - personal info about the players in the club, such as name, phone number etc… Tournaments - list of the tournaments with date, properties etc… Leaderboard - as the name suggests, a leaderboard. who earned the most Balance - supposed to be a running balance. deposits by players and money sent to winners Results - Name of a tournament and the winners. Bear in mind, ClubGG (the poker platform we use) doesn’t has an API. so, we input everything manually. how would track rebuys in realtime? a form with a “+” button that adds +1 in the “rebuy” column ? I'm a literary agent and I'm trying to create a way to track my submissions of clients work to publishers. I have a client table, a titles table and an editor table. It's tricky to do this in any of these because some editors will see multiple projects and keeping the feedback etc separate is giving me a headache. In the titles base I have an area where I add editors to a list when I've pitched to them and want to put them on my eventual submission list - at the moment this is a linked field with multiple select capability. What I'd like to do is have another table which essentially creates my submission lists and enables me to then go on an record submission dates, responses etc...I've tried to set up an automation so that a new record is created in the tracking table when I add editors to the multiple select field in the titles base so that I end up with a record that is basically TITLE X Editor A and the next field TITLE X Editor C... so that e

The problem is that I have other tools linked to Airtable, and I would like to find a way to put the date of the last comment or just the comment count into another field to trigger an automation that launches a webhook. Hi There -Im having trouble with adding dynamic mentions with my slack message automation in airtable. Currently my airtable is connected to salesforce where it pulls a managers name into the airtable record. I'd like to set up an airtable automations that messages a specific slack channel, that mentions that specific manager. There will be a number of different managers and I dont have an actual list.From my understanding, I need to set up a formula that looks up the managers slack id, but im not sure how. I dont want to have to manually link the slack ID as there may be new users added from time to time. The airtable documentation around dynamic mentions kind of makes sense but im still missing the piece on how to lookup the slack id. It says to use the following CONCATENATE("<@", {Slack member id lookup}, ">")but im not sure if i need to manually find the id and insert it above? or if this exact formula should au

Hello everyone,I have a specific need that I can't seem to solve. Basically, my database includes training dates with multiple participants. At the end of the module, we ask the trainer to evaluate each participant on at least 5 criteria.So, for each training, there are 5 or more associated criteria. And each registration is linked to an evaluation form to which each criterion is attached, which are rated on 5 stars at three points in time: "beginning of the training," "middle of the training," and "end of the training."I need to send a form that groups all the evaluation forms of the session as a linked record. And then I need to be able to click on these evaluation forms and then on each criterion on which I can add a rating at the beginning, a rating in the middle, and a rating at the end (3 columns in the rating format). I tried using fillout, but it seems it's not possible to update a linked record, which is very restrictive. Hi everyone,I have been struggling with comparing a date of when a record has been created to a date I am manually inputing into the formula. So basically I am trying to use the IS_AFTER function but have tried so many things and just everything is either coming up with error or false to all fields even though i know some of them are after the date i am specifying.I am trying to get all records that are true to being created after the 21/10/2024 and feed them into a make.com automation using this field or formula.This is the formula I have been using but all the fields are showing up as 0 (false) when there are definitely some records created after the 21/10/2024. I had to use the date format with the date parse as it was automatically formatting the date in US format even though I have specified the format? IS_AFTER(DATETIME_FORMAT(Created, "DD/MM/YYYY

Hi,I'm new to AirTable and trying to work out if this is possible. I'm creating a form to collect data on various buildings and the facilities they have within them. I've got a starting list of facilities that I'm going to use a multi-select list for, with a checkbox option for other. If "Other" is checked I'll then show a single line text field for the data collector to add another item. However, there could be many items to add. Is it possible to keep adding single line fields on an ad-hoc basis.For example in my basic list I have:PrintersWifiWater fountainThe data collector finds that building A also has:Disabled accessScannersComputer labCaféThese 4 extra items also need to be added during the data collection and so would need 4 new text inputs to be added. Is it possible for the user to dynamically add text inputs to a form?

Hello, I want to send a form to users to sign up to an activity so the user can provide their contact information and their acknowledgement to have read certain conditions. I know how to configure the basic personal information, but what’s the best way to do the section for reading and acknowledging the conditions? I don’t have a place on the web to put the text to read so I can’t send the reader to an external link. Is there a way to link to a separate field in a base, with very long text ? I would have to do this for three conditions. I was thinking: One of the field has to be a long text “X” to read. The next field would be a single check box “I have read X” Any suggestions? Hello all I’m a reporter who uses Airtable to keep track of big developments on the subjects I cover. When I find a relevant article, I use the clipper to pull the page title, URL and whatever text I’ve highlighted in the story into a table. It’s a nice system. But what I can’t work out is a way to easily log the date of an article’s publication. It doesn’t seem possible to add a date field into the clipper, so at the moment, I’m writing the date manually into a short text field. That’s fine - though if I want to arrange the articles by date, or generate a timeline infographic, I’ll run into problems. How might I work around this? Dave

Hi there,I'm trying to utilize Airtable to manage Shopify Metafields (among other things), but am striking out with doing this in what I believe to be the most logical way.I've configured a field (column) as "multiple select" with preconfigured options (the array). This ensures we're dealing with legitimate values.Syncing to Shopify, through the use of AirPower, requires the metafields to be in the format:["MF1","MF2","MF3"] I've used ARRAYJOIN to convert the array to a string in a separate field, but am stumped at actually formatting the square brackets and quotes.Suggestions?TIA,Jeff

I have a contest that has 3 rounds that are dependent on each other to start and stop. Each Customer's contest could have different durations for each of the round. They usually define a start date and a duration.For each contest record I define: Name of contestNominationsStartDuration EndRound 1StartDurationEndRound 2StartDurationEndI would like to use date dependencies to link the three rounds, so if I change the start date or duration of any round, the next rounds dates will shift. I have tried to configure the date dependencies but it looks like I can only set one configuration per record.  Is there any way around this that I am missing? Thanks in advance

I have a script running that has been working well, but 2 days ago it stopped working.Where it used to take a file from 1 column, rename it, and reupload it to a next column, it now:1) Takes the file2) Renames it3) But when it uploads on airtable, the filename becomes a string of gibberish like "70d5b867" and doesn't use the filename I had specificed. The puzzling thing is, in the record edit history I see that the file with the right filename has been uploaded. Looking to create one or more sales email campaigns leveraging email templates. Campaign could be triggered against criteria in a project table.I was thinking the email templates might reside in their own table, potentially with the identified campaign name, subject, body, sequence number, cadence etc.Assume 3 emails in campaign with the cadence as follows: Email 1 sends on startdate, Email 2 startdate+2, Email 3 startdate+5For example, "Campaign Name" = "Lost Deal", "Email Campaign Status" = "Active", "Email Campaign Startdate" = 2024-10-24Project table contains the primary contact name, but no email info. Primary Contact Email address is contained in the contacts table associated with the project. Subject field and Body field along with Campaign Name in "Email Templates" table. Is it possible to reference these fields  and automate sending the 3 emails using the referenced fields on scheduled dates based on their cadence?&

I find that when using the Sidesheet option, it's really easy to miss when a colleague has made a comment on a record. The design is only very subtly different when there is a comment vs. when there are none, and by default the comments are collapsed. One simple solution would be to make the comments section non-collapsible, or at least default it to being open. Is there a setting for this that I've missed?

Hi. I'm just getting started on airtable and I want information on my form builder in my dropdown menu to show on the actual form. When in the form builder it shows the first and last name plus other info such as status and email addresses but on the actual form when I click on the same field it only shows me the first name. Is there a way to change this? I'm trying to change it from the second photo to the first photo on the actual form.

I have a form to create tasks, and it asks the user to select a 'project' to link the task to via a record picker.There are a lot of projects, and they are duplicated for different clients, meaning when they use the form, and search for the name of the project we get duplicate results with no way of knowing which record is the correct one.Is there a way to pull in more information into the 'record picker' view, eg) name of client, etc? 

Hi AllI created a form for my drive team.  The form information has start time, end time, etc.  The form information goes into my master spreadsheet.  The team members do not have a paid AT account - Only I do.Is there a way that the information on the form that goes into my spreadsheet could be automatically emailed to the user that submitted the form to me?

Wondering if anybody has the same challenge, or has thought of a solution/workaround to help monitor Interfaces across multiple Bases?My team manages many similar projects that we run for multiple clients, and for confidentiality reasons the data for each project should be stored in its own individual Base. In each Base, we have data to report on overall project status which we currently present in an Interface.Now, our project managers find themselves needing to understand holistically the status of 20+ projects, but now must manually locate and open 20+ Interfaces to view each one. This is something they must do on a daily basis.Does anybody have a solution to bring all the Interfaces one would like to continuously monitor into one singular location?

I’m using this formula for a column: DATETIME_FORMAT({Date of Donation}, ‘M/D/YYYY’) & " — " & IF({Donor Account}, {Donor Account},{Company account}) It’s pulling some company account names that have commas in the title, generating unwanted quotation marks around the field name.: 10/24/2019 — “Farrar, Straus & Giroux” Can I drop something into the formula that will eliminate the quotes?

I am creating an automation to bring into AirTable records from a Google sheet that is being populated by Google forms. One of the fields is a Date-Timestamp field. However, even though the formatting is the same in both the spreadsheet and AirTable (namely, Date-Timestamp with the same formatting parameters), the Test Run yields an error that says, “Field ‘Date-Time’ cannot accept the provided value: Could not convert string to date.” Shouldn’t an AirTable automation designed to bring in a variety of fields from Google Sheets be able to bring in Date-Timestamp data without converting strings to dates? Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks. Mike
