Hi all, I’m building a CRM and have a field for ‘Contact Frequency’ set as ‘Single select’ with 7, 14, 30, 90 as options. I have a roll up field with ‘Most Recent Interaction’ which pulls from an ‘Interactions’ table. I would like to create a field to automatically mark as ‘Overdue’ anyone who’s ‘Contact Frequency’ has been exceeded. Some searching uncovered a formula which I have tried to adapt no doubt with a glaring error! I suspect that my ‘Contact Frequency’ options are perhaps not in the correct format or need a separate field to convert them into the correct format before a formula can use them? IF({Contact Frequency}=””,””,IF(DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(),{Most Recent Interaction},’days’)>{Contact Frequency},“Overdue”)) Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Airtable Community,Is there capability within forms to capture ip addresses from those submitting the forms?  I would like to ensure that the form is being submitted by the persons intended and not forwarded or submitted twice.  How secure are the forms?

Hi Community, I’m wondering whether there is a need to add a Recaptcha to my forms that collect data from my website to my Airtable. I have form validation logic set up and the fields in the table accept a certain type of data only. Most of my forms use dropdowns except where a user is filling in their name etc. My frontend is built with Vue 3 and there is a package for recaptacha but then I will also need a backend to handle the secret key. Any advice would be great. Thanks, Sue

Did Airtable ever implement any type of Captcha with forms?

I have a base with a table that contains a large number of duplicates that need to be merged and their duplicates deleted. However, this table is synced to a large number of other tables and I don't have a direct line of sight on ALL of these tables. I'm concerned that when I merge and delete, this will break some portion of the linked records that exist in the tables that belong to other people. Do any of you know if the dedupe process can cause issues for others who are synced to the table where the dedupe occurs? 

Hi guys!I am running into the issue of in the List view page the top level table does not show the option to add a new record to that table/type. Example I have a schedule table and a task table. The tasks are under schedule, and schedule is the main source. Once I make a schedule it does give me the option to ake a new schedule record, only new tasks. Is this a bug? Or is there a way to fix this?  Thanks

Hello, I would like to know how I can create fields that would belong and update to two tables at once.Currently I can only have one field linked to another table. For example I want my Deal table to serve as input to a Contacts table and be able to input the Name, Last Name and Phone number into this Contacts table, from the Deal tableie : When I create a new Deal occurence, I can simultaneously create a new Contact occurence related to this deal without having to change tables)Thank you for your help

I have noticed that when creating an Interface, if you chose the "Record Review" template for your interface, you can opt to show the Record Revision History on the interface (screenshot of the setting attached).I have a use case where I need to display this information on a Interface that I created from scratch. Can this be done? If yes, how?  

Hello! I've downloaded the app on my iPhone. The first thing I see is the login section. I choose my email and they would send me an email with a 1-tap link. If I open the link on my phone it's says "Sorry, this link won't work on a phone or tablet. Please, open the confirmation link on a laptop or desktop computer to finish signing up". So that's exactly what I do, I go to my laptop and click on the link and it just opens the app normally but on the laptop, the app on my phone remains without logging in, and I can't use the app.

I am stuckHere is the situation:Up to 3 "quality checks" need to be done for some workflow. Each "quality check" has a check box fieldQC1QC2QC3Each quality check also has a single select status field "In Progress", "Review" or "Done".I want to show in a cell a quick overview of what quality check is still outstanding and if all are DONE it should show "ALL CHECKED"- If a quality check "QC A" is required AND QCA STATUS is NOT done -  it shows the letter: "A" (to signal that QC A still needs to be done)additionally to the letter A possibly shown:- If a quality check "QC B" is required AND QC B STATUS is NOT done - it shows the letter: "B"additionally to the letter A possibly shown:- If a quality check "QC C" is required AND still outstanding (not done) it shows the letter: "C"Once all REQUIRED Quality checks

Hi, I recently ran into several such issues where the records of the Linked field shows up empty. Here Session is linked from another table. Notice that the drop down is empty. Anyone facing such issues? 

Hello,I am using Airtable in conjunction with a web app. On my web app, I have a page for a section dashboard that shows communal information. Additionally, I have an individual dashboard, which displays information about a particular user.My problem is that I need a universal link to point users to their individual data.For example, airtable.com/{project}/individual_dataTo further explain, users on my web app can submit data via an embedded form. They can view communal data via an embedded dashboard page. However, they can not view their individual data via being signed in to Airtable. Is this possible via Airtable or an Airtable extension? I would appreciate any help that I can get. Thank you!

Hello,I'm trying to run a script from BaseA to create a new record in BaseB. The new record in BaseB has a linked field, I followed this convention to reference it: Field_Name: [{id: record_id}]. I get INVALID_RECORD_ID error, though I've double-checked it and the record id is correct. Hello everyone. I am new to the Airtable world and I have a question that I would like your help with. I have 17 number fields. They are called A, B, C, D, E ...I want to have 5 fields called max1, max2, max3, max4 and max5. Max1 field is going to be the highest value of those 17 fields. Max2 is going to be second highest value of 17 fields and so on till max5. (They don't have to be unique.)I could find the highest value with the formula MAX(A,B,C,D,...) but couldn't find any info on how to find the other max values.Example:ABCDEFGMAX1MAX2MAX3

Hi all, I'm trying to extract the first set of data in this single select field using LEFT() and then converting that into a date field. The data extracted will be in Chicago time. When I run this formula, it assumed that the date is in GMT,  and doesn't respect the SET_TIMEZONE. (note last entry where the time should be 3pm but the formula returns 10 pm central)Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?Thanks! 

Hello, I’m trying to understand the AT API when it comes to getting the values of a linked table. For example, in Table one I have the following fields: ID Entity Name List of Part IDs In Table 2 I have the following fields: ID Part Number Part Name So when I create the URL to pull the values in Table 1, how do I “lookup” and show the Part Number and Part Name from Table 2 for each Part ID in Table 1? I’m new to Airtable, and have spent hours and hours trying to figure this out, but so far have been unsuccessful. All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, George

I'm trying to use either a SEARCH() or FIND() function to locate a comma within a string. Unfortunately, these seem to be broken on Airtable right now. Am I missing something? This should be pretty straightforward, right?

Hello, I'm using the list view in interface designer for a project management tool, which is really good. However, when I am trying to use the nested hierarchy, I can't create a second and third hierarchy level. I want to stress that I am using the NESTED hierarchy, i. e. the hierarchy using a child task column.Can you please fix this bug, so that we can create more NESTED hierarchy levels? This is a basic feature in project management tools like Todoist or Clickup. Thank youRegards,Chris

Hello altogether, this is driving me crazy. I am entering some formulas in my field and while I am adding fields, they disappear. This behaviour is consistent for all the fields. What is going on? Is it because there are too many referenced fields?  

Hello everyone,We are using an Airtable base with two accounts: an administrator account and a team account. Until yesterday, everyone had access only to the “data” page, but I recently switched the team account to an interface that I created.However, we have encountered a major issue: when we modify information in a record, these changes also appear in other records. This problem seems to only be visible on the interface, not in the database itself, which leads us to believe it's a display issue. So far, it seems that this problem only affects certain records linked by the same person responsible for the record.Has anyone ever encountered this kind of situation? Please note that several people are using the interface through the same account.Thank you in advance for your help!

Hey all,Am I going crazy, or did the Overview interface page get changed and now it's all left-aligned? The bookmarks, titles, and side panel all used to be center-aligned, and there's no setting (unless I'm blind) to change it.

I have a base that has client names in a table and appointment date on another table that is linked to the specific client. I am trying to create a formula in the client table that will display the last appointment for that that client that was scheduled and another formula field that will display the next appointment date for that client. When I try to create a formula to look at the linked appointment date table from clients, it says it can't be calculated because it's not a date. Is there any way to make this work, which I am missing?
