Hey Airtable community,Been hitting my head against the wall for the last hour with this. I'm trying to write a formula for:If {Donor First Name} is not empty, then the field would read: {Donor First Name}&" "&{Donor Last Name}And if {Donor First Name} is empty, then the field would read: {Name}And if {Name} is empty, then the field would just remain blank.Here is my stab at the formula, which I am getting an error message for: Any ideas how to make it work? 

Hi there, I've started to play with AI features (love it!) but I'm experiencing issues with the AI field allowing to generate text.I want the AI to analyse text within attachments and return structured data. It works pretty well when analysing PDFs but it doesn't seem to work with HTML or TXT files. While field HTML is properly filled with a document (HTML in that case), the AI keeps asking to fill out the field.This also occurs when using TXT files but it works with PDF. Are you aware of such limitation or can it be considered as a bug? If that's a limitation, can someone think about a convenient way to store HTML data as plain text? When converting my HTML to PDF before upload, I'm losing the HTML as text since it's rendered as webpage within my PDF. I'm using Make (ex-Integromat) for that purpose.Thanks a lot for you help!

ciao,i'm having an issue which seems rather crude to me but i can neither work it out, nor find exactly relatable posts on here:i'm having a sales base for artworks, in which there is a field that links to a client-record from another base (contacts base which includes clients as well as artists). this i add manually when i set up a new sales-record. there is a second field which links to the artist of the sold work, which i of course also add manually.now i'd like for the link to go both ways, so that in the contacts base there is a field that automatically shows all the artists of who they've bought works in a clients record drawn from the sales base as well as a field that shows in an artists record, which clients have bought works by them.i hope i'm not being super redundant here, thanks heaps!

Hello Airtable Community, We have an Airtable list with our internal communications.Now we have some communications that take place at regular intervals (X weeks).I just can't manage to build an automation that creates a new record for each of them.For example, every 14 days for the next year a record with start, end date & name. Any ideas on how to do this? Many thanks and best regardsMirko

In Langchain, it can use chains like SQLDatabaseChain to utilise the power of NLP and convert the user input into SQL query code (JS or Python) then execute the code to retrieve what is needed from SQL database such as PostgreSQL.Does airtable support such query and would possibly be supported by Langchain in the near future?I guess if the script can be made and executed at the back end for each customised query, that would also work, is that feasible? Hi Airtable community, I am looking for AI tools with which I can query our team's Airtable database with. It's a massive database with about 5000 entries, and each record contains a vast amount of information. The idea is that we can query the Airtable with questions regarding the data.I worry that existing AI add-ons will not be able to handle that amount of information. Does anyone have thoughts or recommendations on what an appropriate tech setup would be for this?

Hi everyone,I’m looking for some guidance on creating conditional forms in Airtable. Let me explain:I’ve set up a base for project management where each project has different tasks based on the program type (and there are multiple programs). Ideally, I want to create a form with a predefined task list, allowing Project Managers to fill in details such as start date, assignee, end date, status, etc., without having to manually enter each task name.Is this possible with Airtable’s Teams plan? Hi. Trying to find a calendar integration that will populate film and schedule info from Airtable for our film festivals. Basically, we schedule films in venues throughout a week and need them to be organized consistently and show info like start time, run time, end time, etc so we can share with staff and our cinemas. We're using Google sheets to create our SCREENING OVERVIEW because it doesn't work in Airtable to use the calendar. So need something that looks similar to this in the end, with the full screening schedule per day in separate tabs:Any help or ideas are appreciated. Thanks!John

Hello, I'm creating a fairly simple base to track all of the violations for an HOA board. I'm trying to create a field to calculate the total number of times a house has gotten the same violation in the past year.The Base has 3 tables, "Homes" with address and owner, "CCRs" using 'CCR ID' as the name of the violation, and "Violations" that collects the date of the violation, the 'Home', and the 'Violation'So, I basically need to have another field that counts how many times the same 'Home' and 'Violation' are both in the same row over the past 365 days.I got this to work by using grouping. In the attached picture, the highlighted number is the number I need to get to populate in its own field. Thanks in advance for any help! 

 If a record created in Openings Tracker (table A) is created, then I want to add that record to the linked record field in Summary Tracker based on the fields Opening Distinction and Req Status. The linked record field is pulling the openings record from Table A based on manual addition right now. If the record is created in Openings Tracker, I want it to automatically add to the total number of openings for that Opening Type in the Summary Tracker (table B).

I am using a summary of data connected to a linked record to populate the dashboard. The Youth Care Professional 3rd shift seems to be filtering as two numbers separated by a Comma. I am not sure why this is happening there and not with the others. The fields have the same conditional formatting for all the fields to the right of linked record. Only this one seems to be noting as 2 numbers.

I have a column that fills in the State Abbreviation from Jot Form. The form is a drop-down selection that is the same as my single select column in Airtable. Somewhere new duplicate selections are being generated with new submissions. I am trying to figure out where to even look for how this could be happening. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, I have some set of records that need to be duplicated. At my surprise, there’s no option to “Duplicate” when more than two records are selected. I cannot duplicate by hand because the base is quite heavy, there’s too many records to duplicate and it could cause a lot of errors. Is there a way to do that (a block, a script, an integromat scenario…) ? Thank you

I have the following tables within a base:ProjectsTimesheets, with each record linked to a single project and a single task type (single select field)Estimates, each linked to a single project and a single task type (single select field)I'd like to be able to compare, ideally in a table and chart (multi series line chart?) in an interface, the amount of hours spent on a particular task type versus the amount estimated for that task type. There may be time spent on a task type that did not have any hours estimated for that task type.What is the most efficient way to do that?I could create conditional rollup fields in the Projects table for each task type, but then I'd be on the hook for creating new conditional rollup fields if I ever create new task types. This is the kind of scaling limitation I'd like to avoid, if it is even possible to avoid it. Any ideas?Thank you!

I wish to use a series of icons to represent the status of a record in a base. How best to do this? If I add a small image in an attachments field it works, but the image becomes a clickable link and opens the image file - not what I want. The icon must be a static element. If I use a "Single Select" field I cannot import my icons.I would appreciate any guidance.

Can anyone recommend a license-free icon library compatible with Airtable Formulas and Interface Text fields? I see them used in templates, but would love to have access to a complete library.

Vague but important product feature idea 17786It'd be great if we could get a form of breadcrumbs for naviagtion when viewing records, and their subsequent child records.ie) If I am in my record view for Projects, and click into a Task (Linked, Child Record) then into a subtask of that task, it'd be great to be able to see this reflected in a top Nav Client ABC / Project 678 / Ross' Task / Ross' Subtask 46 I know it wouldn't work for all scenarios, but it'd be SO powerful for this type of multi level App buildingRoss
