I need to ask my developers to turn a table into an XML feed, but I can’t find any web pages that explains how they would start. Does anyone have any suggestions, so that I can submit more than “Turn this Airtable” into an XML feed. They have never worked with Airtable before so want to provide as much detail as possible.

Hi, I need to export data from Airtable into a XML file so I can upload it to a reporting body. Is there a way to do this? If not, can anyone recommend a reputable app to convert the CSV file to XML, its sensitive data so I am not sure about using a free online converter. Thanks

In actual databases, I can explicitly define which table holds the linked column, e.g., Table A has a foreign key field to Table B. So, if I look directly at Table B by itself, I wouldn't know that it has a relationship with Table A. But that's okay, because Table B isn't supposed to hold that information itself.But in Airtable, I noticed that when I put a linked field in Table A to Table B, instantly that field also appears in Table B. While that's very useful and helpful to understand the bigger picture of how things are interconnected, now I no longer know which table was the original one that established that relationship.The purpose that I need to know this is to transform an Airtable base into an SQL database schema, so I need to know the "native" fields of each table. Any tips, or anything I missed?

Hi,I have a table of assets, faults, professionals and suppliers. Every time a fault is over, an email is sent to the customer (automation of email sending). Each property can have several malfunctions, each malfunction can have several professionals who handled the malfunction and several suppliers through whom we bought products to handle the malfunction. In the table of professionals there is the private bank account of each professional and the same also in the table of suppliers. Is there a way that if the fault is over and 2 professionals have repaired it and we have bought materials to treat the fault from 2 suppliers, the customer will be sent an email in the following format: Hi (customer's name), please transfer payment for the fault's termination to (professional 1) to the following bank account details: Bank - xxxxx branch - xxxxx bank account number - xxxxxx In addition, please transfer payment for (professional 2) to the following bank account details: Bank - xx

Hi everyone! I'm working on a project to track and monitor my Airtable automations. I want to create a base that will automatically populate with all my existing automations and update every time an automation runs. This way, I can easily view the run history of all my automations in one place, without having to check each one individually. Is it possible to connect automations to a base and track their run count automatically? My client is a midsize construction subcontractor. I built a CRM that tracks invitations to bid on projects that my client receives from general contractors (GCs). They typically receive multiple requests to bid on a single project because multiple GCs are all bidding to win the same project. All of these GCs would use my client to perform the work, however, only 1 GC can win a particular project.The current CRM requires the sales team to create a new record each time a GC invites my client to bid on a project. The database is set up with a company table and a contact table that are both linked to each invitation to bid. This allows me to create summary statistics like win rate / GC. I have a base with a record for each computer (about 4,000 total) that I am responsible for managing in my large corporation, and each record has fields about the computer including its Serial Number and Hostname, among others.I am provided with a semi-regular report in the form of a CSV from the company that lists every computer that has checked in with their security monitoring program which is required to be installed every computer. The CSV has more than 30,000 records. I want to ensure the computers I am responsible for are compliant and checking in, so I import the CSV into Airtable and then search for my computers by SN and Hostname. I use an automation to search for each computer in the CSV and update a field in each computer record to indicate if a match is found or not.In my current setup, the trigger for the automation is a single-select field on each computer record. I would like to have a notification sent when a field is changed. For example, if a field is changed to Ready for Review, I would like an email to be sent to a certain person. How do I do that or can I do it?

Hi! I'm new to Airtable, and my company just started using Airtable to build our merchandising assortments. We currently buy products from both US and AU with different duties and transit costs associated with each region. Previously when working in google docs we used IF formalas and vlookups to reference those costs depending on the type of buy. Is there a way to add that data set somewhere in Airtable to reference? I've added a screen shot of the data set of the duty and transit costs and our google doc formula for reference as well! Appreciate any help!

I have an integration with zapier pulling pipedrive data into a base in airtable. Everything works as expected just one new field I created yesterday is a single select field in pipedrive with Yes or No as the selections. The test data I sent had the selection "No" but instead pulling over "No" it pulled "203" does anyone know why/how I can fix? The airtable field is set up as a short text field. 

Sorry to ask this, Ive been around and around and around in circles with the help doco, the information in help doesnt match what I see in my paid business description and the AI bot doesnt have a clue . . if I try to log a support ticket the Airtable support bot crashes and says to reload the page (seven times now)I need to give access to a user to an interface, I dont care if they are a paid user or not, I dont mind paying for their access.I only want them to be able to see the interface and the many nested records within it. (it nests to 4 levels). I dont want them to have access to the home screen or the "back to home button" or to be able to stuff around with the data at all, I dont want them playing, going looking or saying "its airtable give me data" just please please please let me give them an interface to see what i want them to see.I am on a paid business account, the help files list all these different levels of access that apparently I c

When a form is submitted, the information does not populate into the base right away as it always has. When I check the base the following day-- usually 24 hours later-- the information is there.We are on the Team (plus) plan, and have been for more than a year. This is the 4th or 5th time this has occurred within the past year. This impacts our workflow. Please help... what does the mean?

Im looking for a tool that will connect with Airtable so that I can use the APi/Whatever to map in the contact sets we have, create cards and relatiponships with those contacts in our tables and show these on a high quality map publically.Im very used to doing this in a platform like Voxel (but that is WP based) and thats my fallback, but that is held back by WP. Im needing something that is super fast and SAAS based, that can publically connect and manage thousands of visits without falling over. Anyone using any good public tools? The mapping in the extensions are not on the same radar as this.

I have enabled viewing record details and customized the 'sub interface' however I now have 15 instances of this and have no idea how they appeared there, they all look identical except that the automation buttons don't work... is there somwhere I can view and delete all of these without having to go via the 'parent' interface?

I run a renovation and interior design firm.  I thought Airtable was going to be the ultimate solution and have spent months perfecting my bases.  We need a database of products and materials that we can assign to projects and present choices and final selections to our clients.  Our clients are not other businesses, they are individual homeowners, so we are not going to ask them to create accounts in Airtable or become collaborators on our internal system.  Each product record has a lot of internal pricing information that we do not want to share with our clients.  I tried several extensions but they fell short in many ways (only show one record at a time, only show certain pre-set fields, etc).  I tried creating a shared, curated view but our clients could still open and view any field they want.  The list view looked fantastic but there's no way to share OR print!  I spent hours creating awesome interfaces just to discover they're only avai

Hi,I would love to able to share custom apps with external users. Maybe someone has an idea if I can realize that using the airtable interfaces. Dashboards can be build super quickly. In general, I have a straight-forward use case:We are using Airtable as CRM and would like to allow customers to access their data / i.e. an overview of their data. It would be great if we could just send them a link and they immediately have access to a dashboard. Is this somehow realizable?

The objective of the code is to select the options that are in the array for a multiple select field. I don't understand why it never allows adding options even if they are exactly the same as those in the table. It is an automation script. Hello, I'm using the duration field to track recorded audio sessions that vary in length. Currently have it formatted as (HH:MM:SS) to account for sessions that are both multiple hours long and less than an hour long. When I have sessions that are less than an hour long, Airtable won't display a zero value in the hour slot. Ex: a session is 30 minutes and 6 seconds, but Airtable displays it as 30:06. This makes it appear as if the session is 30 hours and 6 minutes long. I would prefer it to display as 00:30:06 for clarity. Does anyone know how I can get the field to display zero values? 

I teaching myself automations and have a requirement I cannot figure out how to get to work. Love ideas.I need to set up a daily automation that looks at all of the records in a certain table and if any record has yesterday's date, send a single email to the recipient that includes a link to a view to look at the data. So the logic would be something like in table X, count number of records where payment date = yesterday. If count > 0, send an email with a link to a view that shows all the records with payment date = yesterday.Thank you!!!

On a dashboard interface, I have a pivot table that counts the number of times a parameter (e.g. the ticket price for the exhibition) was mentioned by visitors in their reviews and I have those counts be computed for each venue (see Attachment #1). I would like to have cells be color-coded depending on their value: shades of green for the Strengths pivot table, shades of red for the Weaknesses pivot table. Unless I'm mistaken, as yet it's not possible to get this visualization feature on Airtable. Would you have any workaround to suggest?Similarly, I'd like to get the same formatting on the table that's displayed on the PDF report that gets generated by Documint (see attachment #2). Any other PDF-generating tool to suggest that would allow me to get this color-coding? 

I am syncing my Google Calendar with airtable - one way: I'm adding the bookings on Google Calendar and they display on my airtable calender view. Today, none of my bookings after tomorrow is showing on my Airtable. Is there something wrong? 

I need some help with something. I am building out a project management system for my team. Our projects tend to be pretty big, so each project has it's own base. But, we need a project overview base to allow leadership to see the status of projects easily. I have an Overview base built, but I need some way to automatically update the percent complete of each project in the Overview base. We have the team level subscription, so I cannot update the source records from the project base. I would prefer not to use any 3rd party systems like Make or Zapier, but if that is the only way to do this, I am open to it. Any help or ideas would be awesome!
