Hi everyone,On my Airtable App, I have an Admin timeline view on a page that shows all tasks, grouped by project, client, etc that only I use, which lets me see all activity. All users have access to a seperate Task dashboard that shows their assigned tasks, etc.  but if I am in my Admin timeline view, and try to assign a task from there, it won't let me as it says the Assignee doesn't have access to this interface.The only thing I am updating is the Assignee field in the task, so it surely shouldn't matter that the assignee doesn't have access to this specific view I am using to delegate tasks?Any thoughts / workarounds? For reference, when I try to do this, the 'invite user to interface' pop up window appears with all of the sharing options, etc. and it doesn't let you continue to add the assignee without sharing. If you cancel from that pop up window, the assignee window just stays blank. Thanks!Ross

Hi, I'm running an automation that monitors a table for certain fields and when any of those fields get updated, I want to run script that sends those field values to an external platform, via an API call to that platform. I know how to write this script, however I can't figure out how to reference the specific record whose field was updated. Is this possible?Here is a screenshot of my automation. 

I need to calculate the number of days a ticket was open, but excluding weekends.However, Airtable wont let me change my work days to be Sunday-Thursday.What formula can I use as a workaround, to count all days of the week minus every Friday and Saturday of the year?

Hoping someone can help, I saw in Airtable's 'What's New' update in July that if a formula returns "a boolean (true/false), a new formatting option lets you output the result as a checkbox instead of a number". This would be really useful for me, but I have tried multiple ways to do this and have not sound it possible. I know Airtable's checkboxes mostly use 1 for checked and 0 for unchecked, so have tried outputting formula as a 1 or 0 for true / false, but no luck (tried "1" / "0", "true" / "false" etc too). Here's the screenshots from the 'What's New' page, if anyone has had any luck with this, help would be really appreciated. Thanks Matti

We have an Airtable base that we would like to display in WordPress. It should be filterable, sortable, etc.; and we should be able to style it as we please. We do not want to simply embed Airtable as an iframe.

I am trying to send all records in a to do list base to someone once a week.  When I find the view in the automations and test its not showing all the records. It just showing ten and won't send all the records in the view that I want to send out

Hi Airtable Community.Now, I use "When a record is updated" trigger in my automation and I want to use only the data of updated field for sending notification to my team member.Concretely, my table has 3 fields which are "Assignee_1", "Assignee_2" and "Assignee_3", and when someone update one of these 3 fields, I want to send the notification to only the member written in the updated field.However, I don't know how do I get only updated field data.If you have any good solution, please let me know. 

Is there a way to know the IP of my airtable account. I want to call an API from airtable using Zapier automation. The third party needs to whitelist my IP so that i can call the API. Any help is appreciated.

I was hoping to put a youtube video in attachment but the URL says it can not be found. Tried a few different videos with different style URLs with the same not found error. Is there a easy way to add video or will I just have to add URL to the video? Which is fine, I just wanted to know if I could embed it without link or downloading, so I thought I would ask.

Hello!I'm new to automation and trying to figure out how to copy data from one field to another when one field is not empty and the other is empty.I have a Tasks Due table and a Reminder field that is a Dateadd formula which calculates a date from data from another linked table. I want to copy that Reminder field and paste it into my Date Due field if the Reminder field is not empty and the Date Due field is empty. Can anyone help? Screenshots of how I currently have it set up. I've tried changing up the conditions, Record ID and field but can't get it to work.Thanks so much for any help you can give!

I am setting up an AirTable to manage incoming event registrations, with an automation to assign people to a particular session in the event, depending on whether that session has met its cap. There are multiple conditional steps; people select first, second and third choice sessions, and the automation has four conditional actions to assign people to the first available session from their choices. I am already running into a "Received invalid inputs" error when testing the conditional actions.I've attached three screenshots of the automation set-up. It seems that the issue is in the conditional action that is set to run IF the "List of names" (pulled from the "Open Sessions" view that is pulled from the "Find Records" action above) CONTAINS the "name" value of a single-select field that is pulled from the record created (which is the automation trigger). The error message says "Received invalid inputs" but I haven't been able to identify the issue.

I'm working with colleagues to develop an inventory request form.In our base, we have fields and calculations set up to adjust quantity when information is input into an "outgoing" or "incoming" sheet. It all shows in our main inventory sheet along with costs, available quantities (based on the other two sheets), and general product information. To put it as simply as I can, we want them to be able to see a small gallery of the items (where "Quantity Available" is greater than 0) and allow them to input how many of a specific item they want. Is this possible without any upgrades, plug ins, or integrations? If so, how can I get it to work? We want to house all information in Airtable as a hub. Any help is appreciated!! 

Hi all, I am attempting to populate a due date for when corrections on a document are needed to be done by.A regulatory team reviews a submitted file. When it's determined that corrections are needed that team updates a single select field named "Filed by Regulatory" to show as "Corrections Requested" and adds a date/time timestamp in a field named "Reviewed Timestamp". I'd like an additional field, which can include a time or not it doesn't really matter, that will populate when the requested corrections need to be completed by - in this case 2 business days from the date it was reviewed. This is the formula I have so far and it seems to be working to the extent that "N/A" is populating on records that corrections were not needed, but on the records where corrections were requested-i'm not getting a date, instead i'm getting "#ERROR". IF({Filed by Regulatory} = "Corrections Requested",WORKDAY({Reviewed Timestamp}, 2, Holidays),"N/

Hello! I work at a nonprofit that offers technology training to bridge the digital divide. We are transitioning to Airtable and Typeform to manage our classes, partner relations, survey data, and more. We have many different class types that each have their own surveys. We built it out so that each survey has its own table in the same base that gets auto-filled via the Typeform integration. Currently, each survey also has a duplicate copy that is in Spanish. Because question answer choices have to match from Typeform to Airtable, I cannot field map the same Typeform question in an English survey as in the Spanish survey. For instance, I have to have a field for gender in English and a field for gender in Spanish. I was using Automations to automatically "translate" the Spanish fields into English fields that we use for our Interfaces (really just auto-populate what the translated version is into the English field). How can I automatically generate a new record ID in Airtable that continues sequentially from the last number in the existing data?

I did some searching but wanted to be certain since I’m still relatively new to the scripting block. Does anyone know if there is a way to create new views? My use case is that I currently manually create a suite of views each time I add a new client and/or project. For every project I will have an All view that shows everything about it, then an Open view that only shows stuff that’s currently being worked on, an Invoice view that gives me a summary of the tasks that need to be invoiced to make my invoicing faster, etc. Currently I have template views that I duplicate and update the related filters to have it show the right records. I’d love to automate this with the scripting block, but I don’t see a way to create new views from script. Am I missing something? Anyone else have any ideas? Thanks!

Hello!There are a LOT of posts regarding the popular error of "Received Invalid Input" but in my search I didn't find anything that was specific to the conditional logic of the automation being the area that returned the error.I've created a video to show how the conditional logic works when the list properties length = 1, but if it = 0, then the conditional logic check returns the "Received Invalid Input" error. Any help is appreciated.

It would be nice to be able to control the size of long text fields in interface designer. When I'm typing long notes such as "rapport" notes or "project overview notes" in interface designer, it automatically resizes the box according to the length of the note. So as my notes get longer, everything below the Long Text field gets pushed further down the screen. Having a resizing option and a scroll bar inside of the interface designer text box would solve the issue for me.
