HiSo i just invited a user with a view license so they could complete a form (locked to our domain). This user was able to create their own workspace, and in the process upgraded themselves to editor.How do i stop this from happening? I'm about to invite 300 people to be able to submit a form for a project, and really don't want them to be able to upgrade themselves to editor and blow my license count.Cheers

Hey there,The "Insights" tab in our base is so useful for clean-up, and one of my favorite features is when it tells us which views in our base haven't been accessed for 90+ days. We're doing a base audit to clean things up, and we want to go through all of our views in a slightly more programmatic way. From the API docs, it looks like the metadata we can pull about a view doesn't contain its "last accessed" date, or anything like that:The only way I could think of to access this data would be to pull our Enterprise logs, search by view ID, and then grab the most recent date stamp for each access. That seems like a rather painful workaround, and since the data is already packaged so nicely in the insights tab, I was wondering if there's a workaround anybody knows of to grab it more quickly without having to do a brute force search. TIA!

Trying to do some base cleanup and design, and having trouble with dependency reporting. Table A has Field ATable B has Field B (Field A Lookup)On Table A, when viewing dependencies of Field A, it shows one dependency listed, which is as expected the Table B's Field B. It also notes in small text that 9 dependencies rely on Field B.On Table B, when viewing dependencies of Field B, it shows zero dependencies listed. So what is the disconnect here? Are there 9 dependencies on Field B or is it 0? If i delete Field B i get NO notifications/warnings, but im not sure if im breaking something somewhere else and wont know until i happen to come across it.How to troubleshoot and resolve this as its not just 1 field doing this, its regularly happening all over the place where the dependencies reported do not align.   

We leverage a concatenate field to be able to indicate when milestones fall during certain weeks. We are wondering if there is a way to revise the formula so that we can have the grouping be in order chronologically by year. I have supplied the formula that we have and how the grouping is appearing today below.

Hi all,I was wondering if anyone have experience with making a simple expense overview per project in Airtable?I'm thinking like maybe a quick registration per project with a drop down that determines what the income / expenses is and it add's each registration to an overview per project.Example if you want to register a invoice from a supplier you would choose expenses and do a little text like Supplier Name and the cost.Then it would on each project add these together and give a quick overview (something like attached picture)I hope it makes sense. I’ve read a couple threads on this but didn’t see an answer. When I open a Linked Record, the fields it shows do not directly correspond with any of my actual views from that table. I want to rearrange the fields for the Linked Records, but don’t know how to adjust if they don’t seem to be coming from one view. They are not coming from the first view in that table. Hi, I used the HelloWorld TypeScript example, installed and imported the @octokit/rest package to interact with GitHub and now I get the following error. I'm scratching my head here, if anyone can help!I have an automation to update a record when a linked record is created. For the Record ID in the Update Record step, I'm using a linked field from the previous step, set up as follows:It works perfectly when I run tests, on both preview and run as configured. But in real life, it keeps failing on "Received Invalid Inputs" and when I check, I see the Record ID isn't getting passed through.EDITED TO ADD: I have another automation set up the same way, except the trigger is "When record updated" and it works fine. What am I doing wrong?

I would like input on design or if it's even possible. Here's my scenario.  I have tried this a few ways through Co-Builder, but nothing that works yet.Our organization does a survey for every event/program we have.  The questions are always different.Other staff need to build forms, but they are not 'techy.'  I would like to build a system that creates their evaluation forms automatically and they would have the ability to edit easily through the interface or form builder.  I also need to be able to show the results through an interface real-time.Surveys look like this:Speaker 1 Rating (rating field)Speaker 1 Comments (long text field)Speaker 2 Rating (rating field)Speaker 2 Comments (long text field)(more speakers, not always the same number of them)Which experience was the best? I created a base for a client and now need to transfer that base to them and remove myself as the owner.  What is the best way to accomplish this?

My Interface goals are stalled because I can not figure out how to create my desired bar graph. I created a bar graph example in R to show that I would like to have the number of hours on the Y and the dates on the X. They do not necessarily have to be color coded but they should be separated by the location. In my own attempts to create this bar graph I have only been able to create a count of the number of hours logged. For example, 2 hours has been logged twice for two different dates. This does not provide any substantial information on time and the number of hours spent traveling per location. If anyone is willing to help me figure out how to create this bar graph, please reach out! I would really appreciate it.

We perform record review for the assets we have in our base, around 300 days after the last review date was entered for the asset. These assets are in the LMS Content table, which has linked records back to the Assets table.Rather than have the reviewer go to the the Assets table to update those linked records, I’d like to automate it so some of the linked records get updated with the same new date value.In the Assets table, there are linked records back to the LMS Content table, here I want to update some of those records based on a condition.Here’s a bit more about the desired workflow:I want to update linked records when a value in the Last Review Date field of the LMS Content table cha

Hi all, I am creating a resource library and I want different info to be displayed in one field based on the selection in another field. Im sure I am over thinking this and there is an easy solution! Here is the example; My base is displayed in a gallery view. Based on the 'Provider' listed, I want the description to change relevant to the 'Name' (e.g. Online Learning platforms'). If more than 1 'Provider' is listed, I want info for both to be displayed.  Is there an easy solution for this? or a workaround? Many thanks! Nick    

I'm working in a new client interface, and they have a button with the action 'Update record'. This is linked to a dropdown. (This is a list of purchase orders.)But there aren't any other settings for this. What does this action do? How is the record "updated"? 

is there a way to enable the viewr of an interface to toggle how the table is sorted? i would like them t beable to click the column and toggle how it is sorted

Hello,Our team has recently started taking advantage of Interfces though we've noticed the search feature seems to work differently than in a regular Airtable data table. In the first picture I provided you can see that searching "BCTS220" returns two results with "BCTS220-1R" existing in each (this is accurate). But if you search for  "BCTS220-1" it only shows one result even though that string exists in the the other record which isn't being shown. Does anyone know how searching in Interfaces is different or if there's a way to correct this?

Is there a way to use the Multi-Select Field WITHOUT the field options being in Bubbles (i.e., as just plain text). I currently push several multi-select fields into Page Designer to generate record reports; however, have to maintain an interim field for each that uses a formula to strip out the bubble. It is a cumbersome workaround. Seems like there should be a "Bubble" toggle just as there is a "Color-code option" toggle.

Hi there!Quick question: If a recipient of an automated email from Airtable (sent by Airtable mail server) clicks on the "unsubscribe" link, will his/her email address be "blacklisted" for all automated emails from that Airtable base or is this specific to the automation which has executed the "send email" step?Cheers!

On one table I have item name/type/start date, and I’d like airtable to auto-fill some cells next to it in that row depending on the type/start date selected (type is a dropdown single select). So for instance on this table: When the type (green arrow) is monthly email (or whatever the type is), then fill in the cells next to it (purple box) which is called from this table: I’d also like it to fill in dates according to the start date of that item, so for instance if it’s type “monthly email” starting on June 17th, then according to the second table calculate the date of 2 weeks before the start date. Going to sync this with our CRM for activities, so these cells next to it are the item activities name/date.
