I have developed an extension with specific business logic that I would like to release to multiple bases at once. I do not want to publish this extension to the marketplace as it would not be relevant to those not working at my company. Has anyone found a good way to release an extension to multiple bases at once? Or to release an extension to all bases owned by an organization?  Ideally anyone at my company could release the latest version of the extension to a base without much hassle.My current process is to follow https://airtable.com/developers/extensions/guides/run-in-multiple-bases to create the remote configuration files. Then I have a script that iterates through all of those and releases the current extension to that base. Hello! I've got an inventory board ("Print Products") that has hundreds of products (each with variable quantities). I add new amounts of each product regularly (in "Order Received" and "Products Received" for individual line items). When I sell items they go in "Order Sold" (with "Products Sold" for individual line items).The problem is, I move various amounts of various products between multiple locations. Sometimes they sell at a location, but sometimes they don't and I need to move unsold inventory around between locations. I created another table "Currently At" to try to keep track of how much inventory was at each location, but I'm finding it incredibly time consuming and tedious to input each quantity one line item at a time so that I can check in/check out the different quantities of each product. I was able to write an automation so that when I put something in "Products Sold" it automatically put it in "Currently At" with the correct quantity decrement.

Hi!I'm using an airtable base to calculate my working hours as a freelancer who works in live entertainment and I'm trying to figure out the best way to have a flexible system for different employers' rules for minimum paid hours of a shift, after how many hours before OT and DT, and also how some allow for DT after midnight. There is also the possibility with some for Sundays to be considered "premium days" regular time=time and a half all day. Right now there is a tick box per "shift" record that allows me to say this shift is "premium".Right now I have a table of "billing rules" with lookup values for each parameter.Each shift is linked to a "billing rule" record, and these values are lookups. The lookup values are then used to determine how many hours fall under each.

I have two tables: 'Booked calls' and then 'CRM'.We are an agency that books calls on behalf of our clients. My booked calls are captured by webhook and linked to various other tables with KPIs. But now I want to build a CRM table for different clients, e.g. 'Client A CRM', 'Client B CRM', etc.How do I create an automatic link so that records coming into 'Booked Calls' are automatically added to the relevant client CRM?

Hello, I am trying to create an automation using the Repeating Group option but I can't get it to work.I have a main table where I keep records of customer files. Each record has a responsible party that is linked to another table called "Responsibles," which contains the name and email address of each responsible party.What I want is for the automation to check the file records every Monday and send an email to each responsible party with a table showing their files.It is possible that a file may be assigned to more than one responsible party, so that file should appear in the table of the email for the different responsible parties.I have been testing this but I don't know how to configure it. Thank you.

Morning.We have a request that seems pretty common but searching the articles the info is a bit conflicting, so asking a fresh question.We have a base with data that we work with.  Think of it like a CRM.What I need is a way to set a view of data (state based) so that a user can only see the cases they are working on. That is pretty easy with a view etc. I also only want those users to only see certain fields from those people to not be able to edit the view or configuration of those fields. Except 2 fields which they are allowed to do a drop down on. Reason is basically to stop users from deleting or changing important data, or viewing other peoples data. Thats the main request. A lock down view for our users that they cant download, change, print, copy. they can only view . . except 2 fields that they can toggle. (our users are very basic).Second part of that, is I want them to have the ability to run one automation

I also have a table called "Continents" (with 7 rows) and one called "Countries" with 195 rows. What I am *trying* to do is to have essentially a two-level dropdown list. Hello everyone,I am using AT for events.When I sell a ticket to my event it creates a record of the attendee.Afterwards I would like attendees to be able to fill a form with further details about their profile (eg. dietary restrictions) and whatever they fill gets updated in the same record.Currently I have 2 options:1. Attendee select their email from the form (lookup formula) so it stays in the same record but I don't want all attendees to have access to everyone's email2. I can use a 3rd party like Fillout form that creates a link but currently it is very glitchy.Are there any other options without using a third party?Thanks in advanced!

I would like to create a script that checks if my employee has already taken an advance on the same day. If it has already been taken, the new record should be deleted. I do this in the form. Hi all,I have a base table with the transaction history which lists each profile's contribution amount, date, and the fund invested. Each profile is allowed to invest in many funds and can also invest in the same fund multiple times. Hey,I have an automation that when the status changes to "done" an email is sent to the customer.Is it possible to send an email to the customer from the email of the user who changed the status?For example, if I change the status to "done" then an email will be sent to the customer from me, but if someone else from the company changes the status then an email will be sent to the customer from him.

Hi, I'm working with the Airtable API, and am noticing that the "list records" API endpoint is returning linked records in "cell format V1", while the Webhooks API returns values in "cell format V2". Cell format V1 is an array of strings representing record ID of the linked record(s).["recXXX", "recXXY"]Cell format V2 is an array of objects representing the record ID and 'name' of the linked record(s).[ { "id": "recXXX", "name": "Linked Record A" }, { "id": "recXXY", "name": "Linked Record B" } ] In my case, I really want to see the "v2" format in a 'list records' API call. Is there an API endpoint that will return this, or is there one planned for the future?

I’m building a solution for a client that may have around 80 K records… was thinking of breaking it up into multiple bases given that there’s a 50K record limit. However, they need to be able to search across the bases at the same time. I was thinking I could achieve this through a custom app that would allow them to do this search and return results from multiple bases. Has anyone tried this? Any suggestions on how best to do this?
