I may be going the wrong way around this. I am trying to send records from one table to another as a group of linked records. There are two condition groups for creating two linked records each time the automation is triggered.Condition 1 is:Farm contains "Ahoaho"Status is "Sales"Sales Summary (Linked Record) is EmptyCondition 2 is:Farm contains "Ahoaho"Status is "Sales"Sales Summary (Linked Record) is EmptyI would like to be able to further group these by "like dates," so that stocktake records from different dates don't get linked to the same Sales Summary record.My first approach was to attempt creating a repeating group based on unique instances of "stocktake date," however the repeating group function doesn't work like that. Is there another way I can group records in an automation based on a date field?

This automation has brought me to my knees, please help.I'm trying to create a google calendar event for a session booked from a start time to end time. The automation fails because it's unable to parse datetime: " "This is my flow:1. I enter the date and time in text format (Text date)- 3 April, 2024 at 17:002. Then convert the above to date format using Datetime parse formula - 4/3/2024 17:00(formula - DATETIME_PARSE({Text date},'D MMM YYYY at HH:mm') 3. Then I convert this to ISO format using Datetime formula - 2024-04-03 17:00:00.000(formula - DATETIME_FORMAT({parsed and formatted date},"YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss.SSS") What i get in step 3 is what is entered as start time in the automation. Similarly the end time is calculated using three steps. 

i have a linked record field that links to another table. the linked field in Table A does NOT have the "allow linking to multiple records" toggled on. The corresponding field in Table B also does NOT have the "allow linking to multiple records" toggled on. and yet, i can link to multiple records. In Table B, i can select a record in Table A that already has a different record linked from Table B. Then when i go over to Table A, i have two records linked in a field that is clearly not supposed to allow this. is this a known issue? is there a way to prevent it? if it is a known bug/"feature", are there standard suggestions for ways to work around it? i don't want to try and work around it, if i can just prevent it. but if it can't be prevented, what is the point of offering that toggle option at all?!

Hi, I have a formula that averages 2 ratings fields. I wish the formula field would show stars instead of numbers. Is there a way to do this with the rating field? Or with a more complex formula? See my current screenshot below.

While i do see lots of posting and tags saying “looking for a certified airtable consultant” but I am not able to find a accredited program or a pathway to become a certified consultant?

Primary field 'Total' pick list choices at the bottom is blocked by the '+' sign for add records.When I hover over the area to the right of the total 312 records number in this base an area behind the '+' sign is also displayed or highlighted, but I can't see what is there. Any suggestions?Thank you. 

I have an inventory tracking challenge that I’m having difficulty with In my line of work clients order resources. Each resource contains a number of items from my stock room. I want to track inventory of items automatically based on resource orders that clients make. I think I need a formula that says "hey! a resource has been ordered.That resource contains items A,B,C…Let’s subtract “quantity items used” from “item inventory level.” Note: The quantity of items used will vary based on the number of participant the client wants to use the resource for. I haven’t gotten very far with this but the image below gives you the idea. I want to subtract 40 from the stock levels contained within records 114, 110, 107, 105, 104 and 112. I’ve learned a lookup isn’t the way to go but now I’m stuck.

(i edited this to make more sense hopefully🤪)I want to create a new date and time, by stripping the time from a date, add a certain number of days, then add a duration field back as a new time to the date such as :1/3/24 11:00 am   to   1/3/24    add 126 days becomes   5/8/24  then add 15 hours to get the result of 5/8/24 3:00 pmhere is my formula:DATEADD(DATETIME_FORMAT(DATESTR(DATEADD(DATESTR({Initial Date}),{Days to Add},'d')),'MM-DD-YYYY'),{Duration},'s')  However when I use DATEADD to add the duration as a time, it assumes the starting time of 18:00 / 6pm  AND cuts the days short by 1 so when I add the duration it adds it to the 18:00 / 6:00 pm for some reason not from 0:00 /12:00 am and is the day prior so 5/7/24 not 5/8/24 If I just use this it gets me the right date with no time: DATESTR(DATEADD(DATESTR({Initial  Date}),{Days to Add},'d'))  FYI the initial date field is formatted for the right

Hey all.I'm looking to automate a task based on # of projects included in a record.The above is a listing of test courses.  The are marked for the trigger conditions, and should be the only records that are created into the Project Production Table. I'd had a simple automation that did this perfectly.  However, I'm needing it modified to where it will now create new records based on the # of projects in that field:Here's the automation setup:I know I need it to loop a # of times based on that Project's field, but I just can't seem to figure it out in AT.I feel my settings aren't quite there, obviously.  Also, does the Trigger's conditions affect what records the FIND RECORDS action looks at or is it its own? Thanks!    

React devtools used to be found in the "Advanced" tab while developing a custom extension.  They no longer are and I heard that they got removed for maintenance difficulties.Can you please bring them back or somehow give us a workaround for using the standalone version?If you want developers to make extensions for the Airtable community that are good, this will help us do that better/faster 🙂

Hi there, We have a questionnaire for our clients to fill out where they deposit links to their corporate materials (decks, etc). These are hyperlinks in the table where we collect them, but we would like to be able to reference these on another table (via a linked record). Problem is... when we link those records, they appear on the second table as plain text, without hyperlinks. Am I screwed? Or is there a workaround that someone knows and can share? 

Hello! This week my colleagues and I noticed that the format of our email notifications from Airtable has changed. We used to received email notifications saying the person's name "via Airtable." Now it appears as their email address. The new format makes it just a little harder to keep track of who is sending us notifications. We'd like to revert back to the old display with the name but can't figure out how or why it changed. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello-I have a lookup cell that is pulling data from multiple cells. The results are showing a list of topics. The topics are repeated (as they're pulling from different cells). You can see, for example, that "Space" is being pulled multiple times. Is there a way to tell it to only list topics that haven't been listed, meaning only unique topics (not duplicates)?  Thanks in advance!!

Safari v14.1.2 To the right of a table where it says ‘add or import’ the add or import is flickering and quickly. It started on one base and has spread to another. What can i do to stop it happening and annoying my eyesight. (Uploading a screenshot is pointless as it won’t capture the flickering, rather I’d have to time the screenshot to coincide which at the speed of flicker could take ages. )

I have a table that is creating a record for each client that completes a form. I have another table on the same base which is a synced google drive table with all client folders. Is there a formula/automation I can use to link the "open in google drive" button from the synced drive table to the client table? 

I’m very NEW to Airtable.I want to create a B2C project. The goal is to have the client enter a due date and an email is triggered to notify them each time the item is due. Hey guys,I am having an issue with a formula field not showing up in a teams message. I have a formula field inserted into the body of the message, the formula is just "Required" or "Not Required" text. But when I test the action the formula field's text doesn't show on the teams message. Has anyone encountered this or know a fix for this?Thanks!

I have some useful Airtable templates and recently discovered that Airtable credits are a great way to use Airtable for free by participating in Airtable's marketing campaign for growth. My question concerns the best way to attract users by making my private Airtable templates public. I have tried:(1) Inviting a user as a commenter. This worked, and I earned the credit, but unfortunately, the commenter cannot copy the base; they can only comment.(2) When I create a public share link, it works as intended; people I share the link with can easily register and copy the base template to their instance. However, I don't earn any credits this way.So my question is, is there any way to achieve what happens in (2) while still benefiting from the credits like in (1)? How can I share the templates with my fans and still earn credits?P.S. I'm not interested in money or cash; I'm asking for Airtable credits. Helping Airtable users and attracting new users to Airtable has been my focus for years. I

I have a tasks table with a self-linking field that I use to define task predecessors. Is there a way when adding a predecessor to filter the options to show only those that relate to the relevant project/grouping?The problem I am trying to solve is that there may be many tasks with the same name so sorting through them to find the correct one takes time. For example, in my task table I may have the following:Project 1:Task 1Task 2Project 2:Task 1Task 2When selecting a predecessor for task 2 I have to wade through and find which Task 1 is the correct one for the project. May be helpful to know: my tasks table has another linked record field that links to a projects table, therefore each task is tied to a project. 

Hi there!As I am fine tuning the AT bases for our team, I seem to be missing something rather important here and thought I would ask the community about it as it seems to be rather significant.As we create tasks and assign to our team members, we would like the team members to login to AT and view those tasks. They can go into the various views but here they see all the tasks. This is fine as an overall project log. But if they then filter this list to show only those assigned to themselves, it seems to run the filter across ALL OTHER USERS viewing this page!If that's the normal behaviour, how does an editor/team member see only their assigned tasks without impacting the rest of the teams' views? Almost all other PM tools I have tested with (Monday, Asana etc.) have a dashboard page of sorts that shows their open items etc. But a personalization filter on the existing views may be enough for our needs.Please let me know as this is a rather important functionality to keep the informatio
