Hi all, So I have created a base here (it is a gallery view)https://airtable.com/appPv62y3frc8BYJA/shrVTQGn7420FaGvUEverything in the base works as it should. The single select dropdown works great, but in the embed view, the single select dropdown doesnt exist. As in, there is no dropdown feature. Any ideas?   

How do I convert a duration into seconds?I would like a formula for the "Seconds" column that automatically calculates this. Understand this is probably so basic, but would appreciate any help. Thank you!

Dear AT Community, I own/manage a few rental units and was looking for online software for managing them (ie organize, make life easier). Figured I check AT for a template, base, apps, and automation. Surprisingly (and disappointingly), can’t seem to find anything. Saw one base someone created but it’s for short-term rentals. Is there anything out there that I have missed? Checked Templates, Marketplace, Universe. If not, any suggestions where I should look to start building? I’d prefer to not have to subscribe to yet another app and keep this home within AT. TIA, Regards, Sunny

 Hi!     I sucessfully imported tickets from JIRA to AirTable. They are synced and working fine, but...     My JIRA registers have 342 columns in it and olny 85 columns are imported.     I don't need all 342 columns in my AirTable dashboard, but I'd like to select some fields I want or, at least, select some of them.     Is there a way to import all fields or to select the ones I want?Sync overview articles (airtable.com)  Thank you

Hi!     I use a JIRA Cloud and successfully synced it to AirTable, it is working fine (#1), but...     In JIRA I have 342 columns and only 85 columns was imported to Airtable using the “All fields in the source” option (#2).     Using the “Specific fields in the source” option, I have only 77 fields to select (#3).     It is not necessary to have all 342 columns in Airtable, but I need some of the missing ones.     I'd like to select some of these missing fields or, at last, to have all 342 columns to manage in AirTable     Is there a way to import all fields or to select (from the all available in JIRA) the ones I want?FURTHER:Getting started with Ai

I am building an interface to enter newly received seed inventory.The seed of the same variety of the same or different vendors can be received multiple times. So the variety field of the inventory form is a linked record to a sheet "variety". The person entering inventory must match the seed and the vendor in the linked record, but the form interface only shows the primary column "variety" not the vendor and there appears to be no option to show more fields  of linked records like in other interface options.Additionally, if it is a new seed, or from a new vendor, I would like users to be able to enter a new variety via another form, when entering inventory records. But it doesn't appear that on the inventory form, I cannot add another form in it for a new variety.My solution for now will be to use a list view and have users click into records. But its not as clean

I have a book borrowing app, I have a table with the list of the books, and other fields such as UserID, Borrowing Date, Returning Date, and Status. These last 4 fields’ records are updated through the app. And when a book is returned, I delete/change these records manually. I also have a table with User information, such as name, email, phone number… I want to create a table History where I can store a list of the books a user has already borrowed as well as the borrowing date for each. Ideally, the history table would update automatically when a book is borrowed from the app and the table with all of the books is automatically updated. Also, it would keep the info even if the info in the book table is deleted because the book has been returned. I am struggling to make it work on airtable, if any of you could give me a lead on what way to take to make it work, it would be awesome. Thank you. PS: Some screenshots of the different

I think this question stems from not understanding the core logic behind Airtable. Hopefully this will act as a piece of a puzzle.Background: I have data being automatically sent as a CSV once per hour. Most of the records will not change often, so I plan to merge the new CSV with the previous one, changing, adding, and removing records as necessary.This isn't set up yet - I'm first testing the second half, where I process, display, and use this data after it's merged. Actions I need to take range from concatenating two fields to linking to other existing tables to updating junction tables.I'm stuck with how to start. In Excel, I would set a CSV "landing spot" as a source, so that every new CSV just rewrites the entire source. Then that source would be transformed in Power Query and spit out as a new table. Hello All, I have a simple task but seems to have some trouble to make it work. I have 4 tables Employees Phone number Inventory Worksite 1.1 Employees table : I want to see and change which phone number (table 2) and which device (table 3) each employee has. 2.1 Phone Number table : I want to see and edit which employee and devices is linked to the phone number and also be able to change it in this table as well. So if I change the employee from a phone number in this table, the phone number in the employee table would change as well. 3.1 Inventory table : I want to be able to see and edit what number and which employee or worksite this number is assigned to. 4.1 Worksite table : I want to see and edit which device and phone number are assigned to each worksite The problem I have right now is that if I use Inventory table and use a linked field for the 3 other tables, it works great. I have several automations with the trigger of "new row created in Google sheets". The action is for the data from Sheets to create a new record in AT. "Test automation" works fine. But then the automation works SOMETIMES! It wasn't running at all. Then all of a sudden, it will pull in a record. Yesterday it pulled in every record I created. Now it's doing almost nothing. I have tried it with Google Form submission as a trigger also - same problem.I really can't pay for another service to do this. Hi,I have a to-do list table that I want to share a view of it with a collaborator so that she can add her own tasks and create a new, bigger table for a project that both of us are working on.This is how I do it:First, I created a new base where I added her as a collaborator. In this base, I created a synced table from my own to-do list table. To merge with her tasks, I created a project table in the same base and created an automation (when a record is created in the synced table, create a record with all the fields in the project table). This works well.Secondly, I want it to update records in the project table whenever the to-do list table is updated. Hi,I'm trying to attempt accounts receivables reconciliation in Airtable. I have managed to get email bank statements parsed with Zapier, which creates short strings like "NN has the paid the bill 499,00" in one table ("statements"). In another table I have orders ("Orders"), some of which are open (and now marked "paid" by hand).I had thought I easily could make an automation triggered by the creation of a new record in Statements, which would check for any open orders matching on the name. I tried putting two 'Find records' actions after each other, where I thought I could feed the output of the first into the second, thereby filtering down to a result with only those records for which there is a match in both tables. After that I would create a Repeating action to update all those record.Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to feed the output (list of names) to the second 'Find records' to match a contains -filter. Hello!I want to use the results of an extension into a formula to automate a field.For context, we are using a SendGrid extension to send out emails and once those emails have been sent I want to be able to automate a status field to change from 'email to be sent' to 'email sent' - any idea on how I could do so? I'm also hoping this means that it would keep the emails that have failed to send as the status 'email to be sent' so we can repush them.TIA!

Hi everyone.Ive got a table with about 8000 names in it,and this was quite happily linked to another table which has about 30 organisations in it. Totes awesome.Because of a change in the org, Ive needed to set up a new table with a lot of that data in the 8000 names. So I simply duplicated the table. Dead simple.The link field that links from the Duplicate table to the organisations still works, I can still pick the orgs they belong to however it doesnt appear to be bidirectional and of course the orgs table hasnt created the "links to the new table/list" that you get when you do this yourself and not duplicated.Is there a way to fix that and create a linked field at the other end that shows the people in the duplicated table that are linked to the orgs?

We have recently switched our 'job allocated' column to a user group column so users get notified when they are tagged, however we would like the appearance to remain the same (coloured).Is this possible? Please help. It is very bland and difficult to differentiate without colour.

Hi,I am using AT for the CRM purposes. I've got a list of proposals we're working on within my Proposals Table: https://airtable.com/appGL773TiIYzLwZD/shrzetl6rN5gnxAYzNow, what I'd love to calculate is: based on the stage selected (and % probability assigned to it) and proposal value, I'd like to calculate probability value.So if stage = "Proposal + SOW submitted (50%)" then, it's 50% of the value.Do I need to create another table for the probability? Have my stages outlined, then % and create a formula within my 'proposals' to calculate it?Thank you!

Hi all, I am new to airtable and fumbling my way to create a resource directory for a group of companies.  What I am stuck on at the moment is how to adjust the options shown in a dropdown list if a name is not shown in another column. Screenshot below - is it possible to only have the names listed in the respective 'Provider' cell, in the Select dropdown? So in the example below, only have 'Thrive' and 'StartupQ' in the Select dropdown for that row?   I hope this makes sense! Many thanks,
