Hi, I'm using Create Record API, my requirement is sending a image to a field in table. But the API requires to send an image URL instead. Would anyone know if there is a hosting service that can return the image URL while ensure the image uploaded is not being public? Or would Airtable team have plan to provide such a service? Thanks!

Finally have gotten fairly complete on a prototype base design for tracking training records for our company (construction industry) and while I have a decent interface setup for showcasing what we could potentially do, I am wondering if sticking with airtable native or moving to one of the 3rd party form and/or front-end platforms (fillout, noloco, softr, jotform, etc) is the right approach (costs being a consideration as well).The general use case is a base with a couple of tables used to track employees, what training they have taken (CPR/1st aid, scaffold, trench excavation, fall protection, etc) and which of those are active, expired, or expiring soon. Hi,For some time now, the unlink button on a card shows as a mere white dot when hovering over the item. Only when you hover over the button itself does it show the proper dark background / white 'X'.This makes it hard for users who aren't very familiar with Airtable to work with our interfaces.

Hi,I'm trying to automatically update a linked field with the data that auto populates in the "Auto" number field when a new record/line is created. I can get the data to return but it's all in one field.  I tried to use the "Update Record" option but continued to get errors Thank you 

I have a table of all USPS zip codes and their respective cites and states. It has over 33,000 records. I would like to be able to use it in another base without having to copy it into the other base which causes it to go over its record limit.Is there a way to do this?Thanks, Scott

Issue: I am trying to have a "Number" field to get updated with values starting from 1, 2, 3, etc based on the position of the task in the chain. I am seeing the numbers are coming off: like 3,3,3,3, for a lot of tasks in the same chain despite there being a hierarchy. And yes there are no circular references for that chain or any branching etc.Script Description: The script aims to update records in the "Tasks" table of my Airtable base. Hello, I am using the Airtable API in javascript. Hello,On Interface Designer of Airtable, when a user preview the PDF this is working correctly.But, when he download the PDF, Airtable remove the parentheses of the name files.Is it a normal behavior from Airtable ?We need to keep identically name file, because we need it on automation.Thanks

We cannot select anything in date fields nor single-select fields. Selection in link fields are fine. The forms are not restricted to the company's domain. They are password protected. Users use the forms on Safari app on iPads.I can fill and submit the forms without problem on a computer under my account. I assume that the problem occurs throughout 2 pm--5am UTC, but this is a guess.

Not sure if this belongs in automations or airtable.I want to create an automation which creates a new entry in a separate spreadsheet which is being used to track spend for inventory in my business.Ideally it creates a new entry, one for each week.When a new item is added to the main buying spreadsheet, the cost of that is taken by the automation and added onto the spend for that week. Even better if it can take it away from the spend if a refund/return is taking place.Is this possible? Sounds quite simple. If anyone can give me some advice where to start to build this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm generating Google docs using the automation. In the text of the doc, I'm inserting data from a "link" field. The link field text is getting inserted, but just as text, not as a live link. Any tips on how to make them insert as live links?See the attached pic - the red circled "link" appears as text, not a live link. Below it, the help email address appears as a live link because it's in the text of the email, whereas the Zoom link is coming from a database field. I am looking for a script to assign to a button field.When a user clicks the button I would like for their username to be filled in the "Assigned To:" field. Is something like this possible?

I have a simple task tracker with a single table containing a list of tasks.  I have a self-linking field to allow for a single level of subtasks.  I primarily use Interface lists to view tasks.  However, I also assign tasks to be completed by varying people.  So when I filter to a list of my assigned tasks, the nesting feature breaks.  Airtable will only show me tasks if they are assigned to me.  So if I am assigned to the parent task, I don't see the child tasks.  And vice versa.I thought it could be helpful to append an icon to the front of subtask names to cue me that something else is depending on me completing that task (haha) but can't figure out how to write a formula for that!In the data views, the parent task has the child tasks linked in the subtasks field.  So the child tasks have empty subtask fields.  Therefore, I have nothing to search for.Anyone have thoughts or worked through something similar?  TIA!

Hello!I am hoping someone might be able to help. I have a PROJECTS table and a STAFF table, and a link between them to see all the projects that are assigned to each staff member. Once a week, projects that are completed are archived and removed from our list. However, the archived records in my linked record field on my STAFF table are still showing up. I tried to fix this by adding a Conditional Rollup Field to remove archived projects, and then linking back those Projects in a separate linked record field, but two things are happening.1. The automation linking the Rollup Field to the Linked Project Field is giving me an "insufficient permissions" error message. Trigger is when the Rollup Field is updated. I have full permissions as the creator, both tables are in the same base, and both fields are "editors and up". Also, i am able to manually copy/paste. So it should work, no?2. When I get this automation linking correctly, will it even successfully UN-link the archived projects? Or

I have a automation that I have set to email people their response to a form I have and the date and time that gets sent out through the automation is the wrong time zone, the time zone on the form itself is correct so I'm not sure why the automation is changing the time zone? when its pulling the information from the form

We currently pay about $3-4k/year for a "training platform" which as far as I can tell, is just a file storage front end that you can upload PDFs of certificates to and then launch a couple videos or slide decks from which are followed by short quizzes. When you complete the quiz, the training for those embedded vids/slides is recorded as complete.I have not come up with an approach yet, but is there any decent way to replicate this functionality in airtable? I have an entire training tracking base setup that is working great as a prototype, but the feature that would be great to figure out would be replacing this "built in" online training and tracking function from the other platform (literally the only thing we have going for it, I have no idea why someone selected this product or people got excited about it).Essentially, I have a log of everyone's various trainings. I have an org chart that's looking good except for one thing: the lines that connect the name cells are in a faint blue that is all but illegible. The help bot gave me irrelevant advice, so I'm trying here. How can I configure the color of those lines? It's unusable like this.

Hello smart friends 🙂I've got a base I'm building to track companies within a community with their contact info and other demographic data listed.I'm pulling data from two different sources into the base (displayed as one primary table and 14 other segmented sublist tables) and need to incorporate the data in the following way:- The primary / working list that has the entire list of companies in it needs to have the ability to be segmented by "affinity" tags- The data to determine those tags is in each of the segmented lists, each of which has a handful of entries from the primary list but sorted by a particular affinity, i.e. "black-owned" or "women-owned"- And since some companies will have multiple affinities, i.e. being both "black-owned" and "women-owned", the tag column needs to be able to account for multiple entries coming potentially from each of the indiviual segmented sublists. I can see a way to link a record from one table to the other, but that only
