Hi, I am trying to automate a process whereby if a record in one table is not empty, it will automatically create a duplicate record in a different table, filling in some select fields.To be specific:I have a table called tasks. It has a URL field called "output" which typically links to a google doc:I also have a table called "Resources" which I will usually populate independently, but in the cases where there is a task connected to the resource, I want it to automatically create a new record.I was able to make it work in a test, however it only worked for the test record.How do I make it such that all records that fit the condition "not empty" will trigger the creation of a new record. The automation is already set to "on".

Hi all, I would like to create a formula field (or any other way) that takes a number field and “translates” it to a text. ex: 1053 --> One thousand and fifty three. any idea on how to achieve this?

I am a beginner and wanted to make a few custom changes through formula’s and other customisation’s. I need help with the two doubts below. Also take reference from the two photos. 1. How do I setup the “Hours” formula field such that even if its 10 mins more than a perfect hour it will round it off to 2 hrs and so on for any more amount of time.2. In the first photo, is it possible for the “End Time” to solely be a time field Instead of Date and Time.Would be really helpful I could get some solid advice on this!

Does anyone know if I can lock only ONE column in a grid/table so users can't sort just that one column?I understand I can lock all the columns, but I thought I would double-check if I could just lock just one. Hello! I am trying to create a template that will do the following: Any person can "register" an event via the "Forms" link to a calendar. When the calendar moves from month to month, the previous events "drop off" the grid view, while the upcoming events remain. I wanted to know if this was possible? Thanks!

HelloI have a typeform with 50+ questions. When I am mapping it to AirTable, I am required to map it field by field - which requires me to go into AirTable and create a header for each individual question. This seems quite cumbersome, is there a faster method that I am not figuring out? Secondly, what happens in the future if an additional question was added to typeform - I assume without it being mapped, there would be data loss. I am doing this for a client and need to ensure best practices. This process also exists in reverse where I've got the typeform extensive from the AirTable database.  Thanks in advance. 

Hi everyone! I was wondering if it's possible to recover lost data after importing bases. When I copied and imported a whole table to a new blank one, some of the data was imported, but some other was lost and I have blank fields now. Namely; the attachments (pdfs). Does anyone know if/how I can recover those at all? Thanks in advance! 

Per day, the employee works 8 hours and can be distributed in one or more projects (tasks) in this period. If he worked on only one project it would be 8 hours allocated to the project (easy), however if he worked on two projects it would be 4 hours each and so on. I need to generate a report of each person’s allocated hours by project. The challenge is that the tasks from different projects overlap for a period of days and I don’t know how to evenly subdivide those 8 hours by the amount of overlapping tasks.

Apologies in advance if this was answered elsewhere, I did try to find it.I have a lookup cell that is pulling information from another sheet.  In that other sheet, the cells all share an attribute called “Daily Flow.” I’m wondering if there’s a way for me to format this cell so that if there are duplicates, (like you see “An insect’s world” is shown multiple times), that it only lists it once?Thanks for the help!

Hello.I have a cell that we input text and then in another cell that text in converted to an urlIF({LINK}=BLANK(),"","https://example.com/"&{LINK})Ex:CN-349302 -------->  https://example.com/CN-349302  But what kind of formula can I create to convert the text to an url if we put more than one "string" ?Ex:CN-234398, CN-23454I'd like to convert this to https://example.com/CN-234398, https://example.com/CN-23454   The result can be divided by a comma or another symbol any help would be appreciated

I need to understand one thing regarding billing per user per workspace. If I am the owner and at the same time creator/editor/everything of 3 different workspaces, am I charged as “one user” or “three users”? There are three of use in the team who will need access to many different workspaces. Will we get charged per email address (even if that user uses 4 workspaces) or per number of workspaces that user uses? It's possible to "Link/Unlink Records" and "Add records through a form" on Android. But when I login to my Airtable App on the iPhone it doesnt show the X grey button on the upper right corner and the "add Record" button below. I'm using the same account to test the same interface on Android and iOS. Both have the latest version, but iOS wildly has a big difference and lacking in features on the linking / unlinking records.Screenshot from Desktop Interface Editor of what I need:Screenshot from Airtable iOS app that has the "Add payment" button and "grey X" button missing: I also saw that this user had the same problem last OCTOBER 2023 but no one responded since. LINK We've already emailed airtable support but havent heard from them yet.  I've also reinstalled the app, logging in and out, even cleared the cache of the App on the iPhone, but nothing changes. 

I have a formula in the primary field of my table that combines a Date/time and the name of the brand in the appointment.  Formula I am using: DATETIME_FORMAT({Appointment Time},'MM/DD, H:MM A')&" - "&Brand results are randomly adding 2, 4 and 6 minutes to the time format, ex:04/09, 9:04 AM - Gregory(appointment time is 9:00 am in the calendar column) I'm lost, what am I not specifying that would prevent this? Thanks!

Hi, We have different bases in a single workspace that correspond to specific projects. One tab in each base is the project schedule. We would like to link all of these up in a separate ‘master-schedule’ base that can house a Gantt chart to keep track of our project pipeline. We would rather not have all the projects (dozens of tabs) in a single base. Is this possible with Airtable?

Hi,I have an automation in Make.com that adds a record to a table in Airtable. The connection uses an Airtable Personal Access Token. I have given the token all available permissions in Airtable, but am still receiving the below error message in Make.com:[422] Insufficient permissions to create new select option ""Microsoft PowerApps""I suspect it is because I am trying to add an option to a Multi Select field that doesn't already have this option specified in Airtable. Would appreciate any feedback on where I'm going wrong on the permissioning / access approach - it seems like this MUST be possible.I should add that I am currently on the Free plan; not sure if that has an impact.Many thanksBrett

I've created a dashboard interface and I've added a filter by date.I can do many type of filtering such as "is after...", "is before..." but I cannot filter between 2 specific dates.It seems that a "Is between (exact dates)" filter is missing.There's a "Is within" filter that seems close, BUT it does not allow to select specific dates.Is there a solution to that problem or am I missing something?

Hi everyone, I build an internal tool for a company where they organise their Projects, Invoices, Employees etc. As the Data is accumulating, we would like to get a better overview,, especially in the sense of knowing how the numbers look on a monthly basis. However this seems to be trickier than expected. For example Invoices: I want a summary for each month. Sum ingoing, sum outgoing, balance.Or I have the hours worked by each employee. I'd like a table where I have those numbers for every employeee on a monthly basis. What would be a good way to collect all sorts of data based on predefined (month, year etc) timeframes? I dont want to work with a custom view for each month. I tried displaying the dates as "March 2024, April 2024" but i cannot group by that. I thought about creating a "timeframe" table where every record is one month for example, but then I'd have to link every record (from different tables) that falls into that timeframe. So most c

Hi there - I’m trying to have an e-mail fire whenever anyone fills in a form. Two questions: I’ve set it up and it just doesn’t seem to be working. The test failed, and when I try creating a record using my own email address, the automated email doesn’t come through. I am on the free plan and there is a notice saying “On your billing plan, you may only email collaborators with verified emails.” - does this mean I need to upgrade for it to work? I have been using this booking form template (here is the community post where I found it) to try and create a student registration form, but I'm running into some snags. I'm hoping someone may be able to help me. The basic requirement is below (once I have that established, I'll play around and try and make it a bit better). What I need is a form where:Student enters in their student ID.Student chooses a research topic from the list.When they submit, this reserves that topic for that student, assigning their student ID against the topic. I have five topics (for simplicity sake: blue, green, red, pink, brown), and each topic has 25 spaces available.
