I am new to Airtable and the database had me the permission to edit it. I am trying to add an option to choose from but I can't seem to "edit" nor "add" an option when trying to add one. How do I successfully do it? Edit it and input the desired option I want to add.

Dear AT Community!I'm collecting arrival and departure dates for an event setup period from workers. They can register through a form. In my base now I have two date fields with an arrival and a departure date for each worker. The setup period spans from 5th May to 16th May.The question is: How many workers are on site each day?In order to answer that question I created 8 formula fields and wrote a simple formula to extract the needed information from the date fields. The output looks like this:Now in the bottom row the sums are given which equal the number of workers on site each day.I tried to create a bar chart in an interface showing the days on the vertical axis and the number of workers on the horizontal axis. To no avail. Any ideas on how to approach this would be appreciated. I'm kinda stuck.Best regardsHenry

I was wondering if anyone had a workaround for displaying/hiding fields on an interface programmatically. (Softr can't do it, bubble either, I'm trying to avoid going fully custom UI)What we want to achieve is the following:WHEN a field is created in a table by a user (they do through a form connected to a Make scenario, not thru the Airtable data view)THEN that field gets added to a specific grid within a page within an interfaceWe don't want our users to access the data view or interface editing page, and we're kind of stuck.If anyone's got any idea, that'd be great!

Hi guys!Is it possible to have URL in primary field? So that the URL is hidden behind some text (rich text formatting). Like you can do in other fields:So now I have this:One field is brand and the other is model (here I added URL). Primary field is brand + model. When I embed this view into my blog post, reader needs to click on the primary field and from that it opens up window where he needs to find it and click on URL one more time. I don't want that additional step (click) and honestly I think that reader won't find it quickly. Or it can be confusing.Is there a way to add rich text formatting in primary field?Thanks!

Hello all. I have been using AirTable for the last two years as a way of managing around 100 hard drives for the post-production company I work for. For the last year we have started to use a cloud system, however, this system has a set amount of storage that we pay for ‘working projects’ and the plan with this system is that after a certain amount of time it gets moved to a ‘glacier storage’ on the cloud which costs less to us. There is also a fee to move that a project that is in ‘glacier storage’ back to the ‘working project’ storage. All of this will need to be pasted back to our clients. So I need to have a database where I can input each project storage size and the database then calculates how much the cloud storage will be over the year and also how much it will cost to retrieve these items. So far my database consists of various identification cells (project name, client, etc) as well as couple of formula columns that work out what the total storage of each project i

Hi! I'm a flower farmer, trying to teach myself Airtable.I wanted to keep track of my tulips from year to year and set up a base. I need suggestions on how to organize this better!  Each type of tulip might have a different harvest date from year to year, and its possible I might buy it from a different source from year to year. Maybe I like one company's bulb over another, etc.   I think I'll add a price per bulb as well, which will change from year to year.   Should I set up a new table for every year and then bring that data together? What makes the most sense?  My main goal is to be able to see the big picture of different bulbs to help me decide what to order in the future.  Any advice is super helpful for this newbie!!Thanks!!

Can we either delete the notifications altogether, or, failing that, could there be some way to indicate there are unread notifications? The way it is, I can see from the table view that there are notifications, but as they pile up, I pretty much no longer care to know about them. Thx!

Hello, attached is a screenshot.  I am interested in having "time sheets" as a view that is linkable to a project.  I have made this work using lookup fields, but this seems to only display the first 4 columns from "Time Sheets".  I tried creating a separate view and only showing the column want and selecting "Limit record selection to a view", but that does not work how I thought it would, that will only filter out results.  Is there a work around? Basically i am looking for my formula fields that total up hours to appear on the project, which is on the far right side of my time sheets table.  Appreciate your help.

Hi,I'm using AirTable to track potential sales opportunities and would like to visualise on a chart the revenue per month.  This is similar to the Gantt chart view but instead would show the size of revenue rather than simply a project.For example, if an opportunity lands on the 15th April that will last 2 months, completing on the 15th June and worth £100k, this would be spread over those months.  I.e. £50k in April, £100k in May, and £50k in June.  Then a bar chart would total all these by month.In Excel this is relatively easy - you create a column for each month that calculates how much of the revenue in each month (can just about do that here but it's not easy).   Then you create a bar chart for the table and it shows it easily.  Can't find a way to do that in AirTable or with an app. Any and all help is much appreciated!!Dan 

Hello,The following formula doesn't work, with the field {Days (from Boosts)} being a lookup field representing the number 30. Is there an issue with using lookup fields within the DATEADD formula? DATETIME_FORMAT(SET_TIMEZONE(DATEADD({Created},{Days (from Boosts)},'days'),{Tutor Timezone (from Tutor)}),'DD MMM YYYY') The formula above works if I replace {Days (from Boosts)} with the number 30 however. Chrome has started thinking every field in Airtable is a password field and pops up the 'Do you want to save this password?' after I finish typing in any field. It is very annoying!It is also preventing me from choosing a date in a date field because it pops up the 'create a strong password' right on top of the calendar and I can't click on anything!I've tried Googling for instructions for how to block the password autofill/offer to save on just one site, but can't find instructions exactly. Is anyone else having this issue? As far as I know, I didn't change anything about Chrome, this just started happening.

Is there any automation in which I can transfer the whole record as it is to another table when it meets certain condition?Basically I have table 1 where once I click approved, the record should go to table 2. I am aware about the create a new record method were we can map all the data from table 1 columns to data in table 2 columns but I have nearly 100 columns and need to be done in 4 tables the same thing. It is very time consuming.

HiI'm a new Airtable user and I'm trying to determine the best approach to creating a dashboard view for each client at our firm with read only access.I'm aware you can create 1 base and filter views but that would make it possible for clients to see each others dashboards.Would it be better to create a single base specific to work for a single client and use that data set to create a dashboard or is there a way to prevent a client from looking at another client's dashboard if I chose to use a single base and filter views?

I have two tables Experiments and Readings.Each experiment is linked to two or more reading records. Each reading has a DateTime field, and some readings such as pH and temperature. The pH and temperature readings are number fields.I want to use the first and last sets of readings in the Experiments table in some numeric formulas.In Experiments table I use a rollup field with MIN(values) to find the earliest DateTime in the linked readings. In the Readings table I use a lookup field and copy the {First DateTime} reading back into the readings table. So that all the Readings for a specific Experiment contain a field which is set to {First DateTime}.Then still in Readings, I have a field {First Temperature} with the formula:IF(DateTime={First DateTime},Temperature, '') Then back in Experiments I have a corresponding field {First Temperature Reading} that looks up the result in the {First Temperature}

EDIT: I was able to solve my issue. My field configuration for linked records wasn't set up correctly. I think I just needed fresh eyes on it the next day.I am trying to create the following automation:Trigger: If a check box is selected on Table 1, thenAction: Send emailAction: Create a record on Table 2 using selected fields from Table 1Action: Uncheck the box from the initial trigger on Table 1When I run the automation on a record in testing, everything works perfectly, both when testing the individual parts as well as the automation as a whole, but after making it live and trying to trigger it, only the emails get sent and the next two actions are not completed. Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong?

I have a Typeform question with multi select options. Right now, when the Typeform is filled out, the answers are sent through Zapier and then through to Airtable. Airtable will group the multi select answers into one field. For example for "do you identify as any of the following?" it will group "WomanBlack" together instead of as separate fields in the same Airtable cell ("woman" "black") - Can someone advise? Also how do I have the "Other" and typed answer populate into a different cell?

There are 131 fields in my table. After retrieving 2000 records and making them synchronize their fields, i only receive success for 300 records when using scripting to import them to my Airtable table. Why is this?
