Hi all - I feel like I'm overthinking this but hoping you can help. I have a table with some products and a field with a list of variants. I'm using Zapier to loop through the list and create separate records in another table with the product information and variant selected. What I can't figure out is how to delete (or change the record status to deleted) if I remove a variant from the list. Hope you guys have some thoughts. 

Has there been a feature wherein you can filter records that are related to me? Example, I have a field called Created by Now I want to share a view that is created by Me alone I don’t want to create 400+ views just to provide everyone their own I only want 1 view that I can share to everyone but it only filters the record they have created Providing access to the base and telling everyone to create their own personal view is NOT the one I need I cannot share the record of Person-A with Person-B any chance to do this?

Hi Is there a way to filter records by the current user? E.g. I have 100 users, and a tasks table. I’d like to have one kanban view that show’s to each user their own tasks. I know I can filter by particular user, but that means I need to maintain 100 views, one for each user.

Hello all, I have a tenant directory showcasing all units and properties. I have 2 locations with the same unit # but different buildings. I've created a separate column to distinguish the buildings and their identical units. Here's an example:Building #1Building #2As you can see, both buildings have the same unit numbering, the only thing separating them are the buildings. I have an automation to find the respective record, and place that record to the corresponding property - however when it's entered - it keeps going to address "54321 N Ave" unit 201 record instead of the "1234 N Ave" unit 201's record. When using automated emails, I'd like to be able to include a URL that opens the expanded "record detail" view within an interface. Ideally, I'd be able to create a formula for this. However, I only seem to be able to do this if the record detail is "full screen" rather than "side screen." I know there is an individual URL for each expanded detail view in the Interface, because I can select the interlocking icon to copy the Record URL. However, I cannot find a way to get these URLs using a formula. I am using the list view. Any ideas?

Hi. I find it helps to think of this as similar to updating the number of available stock-items after an order. 😊I have a 'claims' table where each record is a tutor claim - per student. Each claim contains a 'number of hours claimed' field. I then have an update record automation which passes that value to a 'hours last session' field in my 'student' table.Now, in my 'student' table I need a new automation to run each time my 'hours last session' field is updated, to take that value and add it to a 'total hours used' field, Essentially, a running total.It seems simple but I just can't seem to find a way of doing this!Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you. 

I want to make sure the cost of the services is split according to the months it's meant to run. For example, a Product is $16,500 and will run for 6 months (Start in Feb, End Jul), so Product Per Month is $2,750. I want to create a formula that puts a $2,750 in each field (image attached of my table). So in my mind the monthly formula should read: If Start is after 1/31/2023, than equal Product Spent Per Month. The formula that I have in each month is: {Product Per Month} and that's it. I don't know how to make the formula for If, than in this case.

Hello all ! (It’s my first post in this forum, if i’m not following guidelines please feel free to tell me !) I quite new in the Airtable world. I’m currentlty trying to create a script (with the script app powered by Airtable) in order to fetch data from my (test) shopify store. But here is my point : → Airtable do not allow to use the class authentication used by Shopify, which is : GET https://{username}:{password}@{shop}.myshopify.com/admin/api/2021-01/shop.json → So i need to use Basic Auth as it’s explained in theire documentation. But it’s not working, and i get this error message : “[API] Invalid API key or access token (unrecognized login or wrong password)”. Did someone ever face this issue and know how to solve it ?(I’m sur about my credentials, and i also delete and recreate my app in order to prevent this mistake). I’m surely missing something but i don’t know what it is… Here is my code :

I am working on building a database to build donor records from donation records, and I'm trying to build an automation that updates any donor's name and contact information to match their most recent donation.The automation is triggered when the Last Donation Date field of a donor record is updated. Next, a find operation retrieves the donation record associated with that date and donor, but working with the donation record from that point consistently produces the following error messages:"Fields" could not be converted to a stringReceived invalid inputsFor example, I try to update the Name field (string) of the donor record with the Donor Name field (formula) of the donation record. I only want to do so if the Donor Name field is not empty. When I check for emptiness in the find operation, it is successful, but if I check for emptiness with a Conditional logic group, it triggers the "Received invalid inputs error."

Hi, I have a column with a date and time (starting date and time) in one tab and another column (Duration time) with a duration in another tab. I created a lookup in order to use this duration in a formula to get the endin date and time. I couldn't figure out why my formula is not working...Help ? 🙂

Hi All, I am trying to use the DATEADD formula to add a number of years to a date, The date is in one table and the number of years to add is in another table. DATEADD(Date,{Years till expiry}, ‘Years’) This just returns the same date as the date field. Annoyingly if I remove the {Years to Expiry} and just put a number in there it works fine, But i need to pull a different number of years depending on another field. I am trying to produce an expiry date for a qualification which is linked to a Google drive. the qualifications are listed in another table with the years to expiry number linked to each qualification. once this works i will want to run some conditional formatting in a report to see which qualifications are out of date. I have tried formatting the columns to integer and decimal. Thanks in advance Steve

I have pasted around 500-600 URls in a column and I want to know 404 statuses of all the URLs in the Next Column or in “view Blocks” (want to know which URLs are live and which are not). I am not so good at scripting. Can You Please help?

I manage a team of project managers and one of the things I'd like to use Airtable for is notifying our accounting department of when certain billing landmarks are reached so they can invoice. Currently I'm able to set up multiple automations per project for each landmark but have run out of automations. I tried to consolidate by adding multiple project numbers to the same automation or multiple landmarks that would need to be reached to the same project number but need the ability to use "and" as well as "or" in an automation. Right now, it seems I can only use one or the other.For example, I need to be able to set the condition to be as follows so an email is sent when either of the following is met:When 'Project Number' is 'A405' OR 'A406'and 'MLR status' is 'MLR 1'orWhen 'Project Number' is 'A405'and 'MLR status' is 'MLR 1' OR 'Status' is 'Live'Is this something that Airtable supports? Can anyone think of any workaround if this isn'

Hi. My real-world application uses an 'update record' automation to pass the last date and number of hours of a client session to my 'client' table as 'last session'.I need a new automation to run each time that field changes. I want it to look at my 'number of hours allocated' field (each client is allowed a fixed number of hours), and deduct the new 'last session hours' from it, to show 'hours remaining'.It seems simple but I just can't seem to find an elegant way of doing this. Originally I thought it might be possible in a formula, but of course I can't reference the field the formula is in.(I'm thinking of this as similar to keeping track of number of available stock items)

Hi,I am quite new to Airtable but have played around and created my first working bases for a local youth sports club I am supporting probono but are now struggeling with this project.I am am trying to build a base that would allow me to rate a subject (organized in subject groups) based on several Main and underlying Sub criterias.So each subject group will have at least 2-4 "MainSkill"  and each "MainSkill" will have underlying multiple "SubSkills" assigned to the overlying "MainSkill"Each subject out of this group can then be rated on all his MainSkills and all Subskills.I am struggeling with the way how to get that organized correctly and have not found any template to copy from.  The rating of each of those skills for a subject should be changeable via a form.

Hello!I'm new here and new to Airtable, but I was looking for some help if it's possible 🙂I have a table with bookings and I want to run an automation at the beginning of every week that groups all the upcoming bookings that are relevant to each individual person in the bookings, to send them an email with an overview of all their upcoming appointments.It's easy enough if I do it for each booking individually, but then one person might receive 3 emails with each booking which I am trying to avoid.I have been playing around with the Find Records function in the automation, where I can create an array of all the upcoming appointments for the week but I don't know how to dynamically find and group the records based on the persons name. At the moment, I just have a list of all the bookings.Is this something that is possible in Airtable? and how can I go about it?Thanks for your time!

Hi, I am having issues with my script (screenshot attached)... can someone help me understand why it cannot find the record? My intent is to have a table record update every field that is a record in the in another table with the content field.

I have an automation set up to find linked records from another table. The problem is, it won't run! It just says in progress. What am I doing wrong? If this is a rate limit issue (I have 458 records), how can it be avoided? 

Hi all,I have a base in which we collect data on a bunch of indicators. We want to check our progress throughout the year against annual goals that we set for ourselves. We set goals for about 20 indicators out of 50 and we only want to monitor those ones even though we collect data on all 50.I would like to build a dashboard that would pull those 20 indicators, notes what the goal is for each, and then pull our progress. Our indicators are on one table in the base, and the data collection of each indicator is in another table. We do not currently have the goals listed on airtable.I havent figured out what style of interface is the best way to do this. The closest i got was writing the indicators and goals as text and using a "number" element to pull the progress, but that's obviously not ideal- is there a way for me to create a dashboard that looks like this picture and show only the indicators i want (and not all 50)? I dont mind writing up the goals as text.
