I'm a new user.When I make a Kanban board, and click on an individual task (a row in the grid view), then it opens this in a separate window that overlays everything else. What is this separate window called?Is there a way to do this from the grid view, so that I can click on an individual row, have a window pop up with all of the fields just for the row?Thanks

Hi,This is my interface page where I select investor from the dropdown. I have added a filter below and I want the filter to have the value selected from the dropdown.I understand that this kind of dynamic value setup is not possible in airtable interfaces as of today. So I am thinking of using airtable automation.Now when the user clicks the Set Carrier button, a script runs saving the name of the selected carrier in a variable. I can add a 'Find Records' step in the automation to use the same variable and filter the results. Now is there a way to publish the output of Find Records back to the interface page? I am able to see the records while testing automation. However a feature that can publish these as a list on the interface page would really be helpful. Any thoughts/suggestions? Hey, for the past week or so I have been trying to upgrade my account from the basic free plan to a paid monthly Team plan. While trying to do so, I have been facing issues while making the transaction for the same. How do I go about this? This is the message I received on trying to make the payment "We were unable to upgrade you at this time. Please refresh the page and try again. If you continue experiencing problems, please contact us" 

Hi,I have 2 databases with sync tables on one AirTable Account. I would like to move them to another account without loosing the syncronisation between tables. Is there a way to do it ? ThanksF. 

We are completely maxed out on automation runs! This is because Airtable hasn't reset after last month. On December 31st we were at 80% which is too close for comfort but with it only being a day until it should have reset we weren't worried about it. Here it is on January 3rd we're dead in the water!!!!!!!!! Obviously I cannot get immediate help from Airtable Support. I've talked to their sales department about upgrading us to an Enterprise plan but this is not immediate. Anyone have experience or know what to do? Maybe you've got a contact on the inside that could reset our automation runs for the month. How is this not automatic?!We have business critical functions relying on our Airtable. 

I feel like I can't articulate this question well enough to search for an answer -- maybe someone here can understand my brain.I want to copy a column of text strings in Airtable, put it in a search box, and have it bring up all the records that contain any of those text strings. Is something like this possible? Basically, I'm working off a synced base that I have additional columns I need to edit. (I can't change the main base in any way -- it's full of "secondary" records that are essentially 8+ copies of the first set of records that I do not want in my base) So every day I'm searching for 50+ strings, one by one, to update those records. Any ideas?

HolaWe are a charity/NFP who has been working on a basic "help our volunteers be able to do their job" system for a while. Tried everything, it looks like one of our key issues can be solved by AirtableWe are aiming to use Airtable as simple terrotory based CRM platform, because it is very straight forward and visual to use. Very impressed so far. our users are not technical and dont need to be fighting screens and awful processes. They just need simple sheet views.(Amongst other things, this is the first thing)We have a lot of contacts and great with Zapier etc. What we want to do is to continue to update items via Zapier as the customers are engaging with us. However wanted to know if a couple of things are possible. - Decent Visual emails out of the platform, as Mailchimp is great on the graphics but not good with much else. - Block list. So if a customer signs up who we have blocked, can we automatically

All of a sudden, Airtable is freezing and only loading a small subset of the web interface.] I've tried clearing all browsing history in Chrome, and still same issue. I also tried with Edge, same issue. Anyone experienced the same issue? I'm completely stuck.d

Hello everyone and Happy New Year,I have a few tables in my bases which get updated on a nightly basis, via airflow jobs. I would like to lock some of  those columns down so only certain users can modify the contents, but that would mean I'd need to have Airflow as one of these approved 'users' so the nightly update jobs can continue. How would I go about adding a user for a 3rd party service like Airflow?Thank you in advance!     

Hey Everyone!I'm hoping you can help me out with a tricky one. We currently use a check-in system (VisitU for those that care) to keep track of when/why people use our space. I then take that data, dump it into airtable on a weekly basis and it does a bunch of cool analytic stuff already.Now for my ask. It records a time in field (with an exact time like 15:57) but that is linked to a date field. I was tasked to figure out if being open past 6 is worth it on Monday's and Wednesday's. Figured out how to seperate the day of the week (using DATETIME_FORMAT(timeIn, 'ddd')) but now I want to give me a list of those who checked-in after 6 that I can then use the two field (Day Name and Time In After 6) to tell me how many people used our space. Make sense? Any ideas on how I could separate that time field? 

Hello to all my colleagues,The query I have I think is kind of stupid, because it should work as I am configuring a button in an interface, so that when it is clicked, it triggers an action that in my case is to run a script. I am following the instructions posted at:https://support.airtable.com/docs/when-a-button-is-clickedI am blocked at this point "Connect the automation to an interface".The problem I have is that I can't select the action to follow when someone clicks on the button, because the option "Run automation" does not appear within the options to select. Only the following ones appear:- Open record creation- Go to interface page- Go to external URLIt is supposed to appear within those options "Run automation", and after selecting it, link it with the automation process that I have created.I d

Hi there - all my automations are failing. I have disconnected and re-connected my gmail accounts but they are still failing to run. Can anyone offer a suggestion on how to fix this - I'm pretty new to Airtable but hope I can understand the solution to fix this.

Just found this while tinkering. If anyone else could test, I'd appreciate it.Steps to recreate: Add record via form in interfacesMake sure the form submission has a datetime field, and set that field's default value to Current Time.Toggle off 'Allow users to edit this field'.Submit formWhen the record is created, the date field will have 24 hours added to it.I originally thought it had something to do with my timezone settings and GMT, but when I toggle on 'Allow users to edit this field', the 24 hours is not added to the date field on record creation.I have a video here that shows it happening to me. 

I'm using a date field {Date Processed} and a formula field {Report Periods} to interpret that date and produce a comma separated list to find the year, quarter, month, week, and day. I use this for reporting. Check out this screenshot showing how 12/31/2023 (USA time format) is messing up the formula.The final day of the year should be in the 53rd week of the year. Instead it's starting over at week 1. I believe this is a bug in Airtable. Hello,I have a linked record and when adding it to a user interface there are to "appearance" options 1) Pills; and 2) Cards. I am testing out a new build and with the linked record set to "Cards" I see the normal card view, however another user testing shows a "List" view. I am not seeing how one user could see a different layout than another. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thing is I actually like the "List" view but cannot figure out how to change it to it. Looking forward to any ideas.

Hi All! I’m trying to make a form that is asking individuals to give feedback about consultation sessions they’ve had. One of the questions is which consultant did you meet with. I have a multiple select field with their names right now and then a link to a webpage with the consultants’ profiles but I really want the options to include a name and a picture of the consultant right in the form. I don’t know that this is possible currently but does anyone have any ideas? Thanks! Tallie

How can multiple users use the same airtable interface simultaneously?My interface is as follows 1. User selects investor and sets it by clicking a button. 2. The investor is saved in a temp table with a flag set as true 3. The user sees a list of startups and makes a selection of some startups by checking a checkbox 4. User selects a campaign date from a dropdown 5. User clicks on button to schedule. Button starts an automation that gets the carrier name from temp table only after seeing the flag as true, the list of startups that were checked and creates a row in the scheduler with the campaign date. After doing so it resets the startup checkbox and ready to schedule flag. Now if this above feature was to be used by more than 1 user at the same time, what changes would I need to make to my existing flow? Is there a way to retrieve the user id somehow

I am writing to seek assistance regarding a record limit issue that my organization is currently facing with our Pro plan. Yesterday, our base had a total of 13,000 records, well within the 50,000 records limit of our Pro plan. However, I imported an Excel sheet with an additional 44,000 records to test a formula. Subsequently, I deleted the table containing the 44,000 records, expecting the record count to revert to 13,000. Unfortunately, despite the deletion, it still shows that we are over the limit. I have already tried emptying the trash, but the record count remains unchanged. Any advice and assistance is greatly appreciated Thank you in advance.

Hello im working on linking two tables in a base that we use for asset tracking. One table is MOV 24 (movement records) and the other is ASSETS 24 (asset records). In the Movement table (which has a forum to generate movement records), there are multiple Lookup fields that can only look into specific views of ASSETS. For example the radio assets are all assigned an asset number {ASS-ID} in the asset table. In the MOV forum there is a pathway to record the intake of an item from the radio vendor. When recording the MOVement there is a field for Serial Number. I have successfully created a Rollup that is taking the serial number from golf cart intake movement records, but when i try to duplicate the same process for the radio records i am not seeing any information roll up.
