I am trying to put a formula I pulled together in the primary field, but get the following error "Sorry, there was a problem saving this field. Can’t save field because it causes a circular reference".  Back story, I am using one tab to house all the event details. I am using the nesting feature to pull through things I need for all the sperate views (agenda, session intake, speaker details, ect.), where I would usually use separate tabs for each of these things. Here is the formula that I have pulled together. Depending on what Is selected in the Content Track field it will pull a particular reference field. I want to use this formula in the primary field, but even if I remove the "for column 1" field I still get the circular reference error.  Any one have any suggestions? 

I've gone through all the new plans and understand that when our plan renews (we are on Annual Pro Starter Pack currently) we will be changed to the Team plan.But I am still uncertain as to the pricing - we currently pay $348 annually for up to 5 seats.  I have read that the discount remains that we were getting on the Pro Plan - but what does that mean actually. We currently have 2 users.Has anyone been moved from Pro Starter Pack - annual to the new team plan annual. Can you tell me what the renewal price was? Thanks! -The only post I could find I think was for someone who was moved off the starter pack before renewal and lost the discount. 

HiMy card has expired and I need to go to a physical mailbox to replace the card, but that will take me a few days. An attempt was made by airtable to charge the card, but it has failed. How long do I have until my account is affected?

I’m working on an app to keep records for a children’s club. We try to get their birthdays, but sometimes they don’t know the year they were born. Is there a way to enter only the month and day? Ultimately I want to use the date to calculate the age, but I can have a check box to test if the date isn’t complete. Alternately, maybe I can use the age if we know it to calculate the year. I would like ideas for the best way to handle this. Thank you.

Does anyone have an example they can share of a “Now, Next, Later” style roadmap they’ve set up with Airtable? Would be interested in learning how you went about setting it up, since the Airtable timeline view is tied to dates. Thanks!

Hi, I am total new for airatable. So sorry in advance if it was asked before. But I was not able to find it. I am trying to figure out if Airtable could be use as kind of an ERP. Basically create orders by our sales and than “do automate stuff around it”. Basically I am starting to create table with Form that they would fill up/use with new order. Now to question. Is it possible to create Unique ID that would have specific set of numbers and logic around it for each order? For example: Every order would have unique number Every order number is exactly 10 lenght First two numbers are fixed (11-----) Third and fourth nubmer are last two digits of year (1122…) Fifth number office number (Karen is from Europe office so it would be fixed “5” but Bob is from America so he would have fixed “6”, etc… last five numbers are always unique number always increased by 1 from 00000 to 00001, 00002, etc…

I've got a table that has a single select field. I'd like to parse all records in that status by airtable user, and send that user all records in 1 email once a month.I've got this worked out kind of, but it emails each per matching record - I'd like to make it send 1 email and include all records. Screenshot is what I'm doing that emails each record to that airtable user.

Hi there! I am looking for a solution how to export my Airtables to Excel (or csv) and change the number format at the same time. Example: I have a column with prices and they’re displayed in the format $1,000.00 but I need them in the format $1.000,00 as I am in Europe where this format is more common. Hi All,im trying to create a button in an interface, of which the interface has a project record picker, that will trigger an automation, to find records in another table.the project picker is set to a particular table called PROJECTS.the button is set to find records in a table called PAYMENTSwhen creating the button and setting up the automation, the conditions of the FIND RECORDS option can set up all the requirements but won’t limit to the particular project that the Record Picker has selected. In fact it won’t let me have any condition relating to the PROJECT. When I test, it picks all records not limited to the PROJECT. Is there any way to let the RECORD PICKER limit the button automation selection… eg.Record Picker: set to PROJECT number ‘100’. Some photos I upload into a table appear sideways both in the table view and expanded cell view, even though the photos themselves are upright in the upload window. I tried to rotate them 90% so they appear sideways in the upload screen, but then they rotate 180% to still appear sideways in the table facing the other way. Help?

I uploaded a bunch of portrait character wardrobe photos but they all flipped landscape. Sucks, but I can’t even figure out how to flip them one by one once in - or even how to reload and ensure it doesn’t happen again. This is the first time this has ever happened - it’s never happened on headshots or location photos. Is there a setting I need to set in the table? Or can I rotate or edit a photo once uploaded? I know Airtable is more of a storage device, not photo editing - but this is not the way I uploaded them originally. Thank you!

I would like to build a library of follow up emails that are stored in a table that will go out to customers at different times depending on where they are in the sales process.  I would like to personalize the emails and provide some other specific information specific to their account.   I envision it as it being kind of a form letter with variables situation For exampleDear {Customer First Name}We have you scheduled for service on {Service Date} arriving between {Start Time} and {End Time}.We look forward to seeing you{Sales person name}There will be 5-10 different emails so I would like for these to be stored in a table that can be easily changed or added to and can be run through a single automation.   I would appreciate any thoughts on how this could possibly be accomplished.  I"m open to using formulas, automations, scripts..  Thanks in advance!

Hello Community.. I hope all is wellI built an Agenda database that has recurring events such as "Daily Lunch Time" and "Weekly Team Meetings" etc.. Keep in mind that new Agenda items with new frequencies keep adding up. Setting a recurrence automation is possible, as a new record of the same Agenda item gets created every time the item is marked done. But what if I need to see the items for the whole year from now, without waiting for the items to get done, and without having the automation run endlessly? I have been looking at a formula or automation for recurring events with different frequencies while having an stop date for the recurrence. would truly appreciate your support if anyone knows a perfect hack for it without the requirement to write a coding script (as I am not experienced in that) neither I hope my question is clear. Hi everyone,I need some help to build some automations please.I would like to modify status after specific period.For example, when a new record is create, the field "creation date" fill be filled.for records below 3 days I want to automatically change the status to "Less than 3 days"for records between 3 days and 5 days I want the status "3 to 5 days"records between 5 days and 10 days, status "5 to 10 days"and below 10 days will have no status. I already tried to make automations with "on this date or later" and "on this date and earlier" but it's not working properly.Thanks for your help and merry christmas!

Is it possible to get AirTable to generate X number of records in a table? Example: Table: Batch Col: Date Col: Batch Number Col: # of Units Produced Table: Units Col: Batch Number Col: Serial Number I’d like to create a record in Batch table, and if I say 10 units were produced in that batch, then automatically 10 NEW records appear in Units table (all of them linked to their batch in the Batch table) and all of them assigned automatically a sequential number (starting number would be MAX of whatever serial number is already in tab from PREVIOUS batch). I can’t even begin to wrap my head around this one. So, the two main issues would be automatically creating X records based on the event of another table AND auto generation of serial numbers starting off at the last serious number of previous batch. Is this impossible?

Hello, probably this topic was discussed here in several ways, but cant find final solution for us. We need to make payment list and as some of the payments are made every month, once click on checkbox, that was that particular row in table payed, it will automatically make copy of the row to next month. Any idea how to do this please? Thank you!
