Hello Airtable experts!I'm a newcomer to the world of Airtable and am slightly overwhelmed with my goal. I'm looking to set up a "button-click" automation within an Airtable interface, aiming to create a private Airtable base with the click of a button. This base should be created within the workspace housing the interface. The goal is to create this private base with one table that references specific records from a source table in another base. I'm curious to know if this kind of architecture is feasible and if yes, can someone please help me get started with some reference code or tips? Would highly appreciate your insights, TIA!

Hey guys,I am trying to find a way to relink Personnel records on a base with synced tabled from 2 different bases in order to limit interface views off Airtable accountsBase Personnel - All Personnel info including airtable account using the User Field typeBase Project Tracker - Overall project information including Personnel like producers linked to record on a synced table from the Personnel base. Airtable accounts are a lookup field.Base Asset Tracker - Synced to Project Tracker to assign assets, pulls over information like producers. Also synced to Personnel base to assign assets to people. The synced Project table on the asset tracker currently pulls over the producer information but obviously as a single test field with the producers in a string out. Obviously I can't change the field type to relink to the Personnel synced tab

Hello! My company may be no longer allowed to use Zapier so I'm trying to figure out how to recreate my Zap using Airtable automations. I need to be able to upload a batch of image files somewhere (our company uses Box), have Airtable match the filenames of the images to existing records, and upload that image file to the attachment field for the matching record. I've seen posts about bulk uploading images to new records but can't find specific info about matching images to existing records. Is this possible?

Hi all, We are an organization that runs a lot of webinars, and we want to evaluate each program and get participant feedback so we send a survey after every program.The evaluation questions are the same for every program and I want to design a base that will collect all these responses, and for me to have a way to see all the responses by program, by type of program (for example- a one time program vs an intensive) and aggregated as a whole for the year so we can know how we do in general.I have one table that "holds" all the programs themselves as we use it as a workplan to plan the program from start to finish. I would love to find a way that i can send a survey/form to participants (obviously not users of Airtable), and that all replies will be matched to the program they attended (without them needing to choose the program from a long list).I would love to brainstorm a good way to get this done! We're also currently paying for a couple of third-party s

Hello! I share my Airtable calendar view to my Google calendar so that I can see dates for different clients. A few days ago, I changed a date for a few projects and they're not reflecting on my Google calendar. I've refreshed and unselected the "Sync" button on my Google calendar app and it's still showing the old dates.  Do you know why this is happening? The dates that are showing in Airtable, I need them to show on my Google calendar correctly.

How do I delete this orphaned sync?The original target table in Prospects is gone.

My daily use of my base involves a lot of calculations. Lately, AT is slow to the point of being unusable while doing these calculations. The base just hangs at "saving" until I manually refresh. I've split the base into four so that the base I'm now working in has a quarter of the records I used to work with, but this has not improved performance. Is there anything else I can try?

Hello all My script below, looks through records in a table to find any records that have a field value that matches the record that kicked-off the script (automation) when a button was clicked. The field used for the condition is a Single Line Text field (Tracker Cycle ID). The actual value being compared is passed into the script via input.config (matchCycleID).  I do not get an error but the script does not work as intended and the script editor tells me "This condition will always return 'false' since the types 'string' and '{ readonly matchCycleID: string; }' have no overlap.(2367)".  I would assume the value of the field being passed into the script via input.config is a different type of 'string' than the value in the record being compared (record.getCellValueAsString('Tracker Cycle ID')). &nbsp

I am trying to use Zapier to publish airtable records as cards on Miro. It works fine, but the link back to Airtable is broken. Zapier needs the record URL and it's not being made available. I wondered if I could work around this by making the record of the URL a field in the record, so that Zapier can use it. Is this possible? Any tops would be much appreciated!

Hi…I have a field with ‘arrival date’, a field with ‘terms’ (which is days prior to arrival payment is due. This is a number and varies from record to record)(Both are lookup configurations) and I want the third field to calculate the date it would be if the terms number (such as -3) is subtracted from the ‘arrival date’. I tried DATEADD({arrival date},terms,‘days’) but it didn’t work. I experimented with DATEADD({arrival date},-3,‘days’) and with the ‘terms’ look up field just being an integer instead of the look up and those did work so I am not sure how to do this. Thank you!!

Hi all. I'm trying to embed a base that has five tables. Only the first table embeds. When I click it open I can see the other four tables (linked) but I can't click through to them. What am I missing? I know it's probably staring me in the face but I can't figure it out nor find an answer anywhere here. Thanks!

Hello AllI send automated SMS to a list of contacts that is present into another table with the lookup function.My problem is the phone numbers are displayed with a coma as a separator (see picture below) and my sms provider does not recognise it. I would need to have  semicolons instead of commas Can you please help me with the syntax in case I would have some formula / rollup ?thank you 

Hello, In my base, one table has 2 records each. Currnetly, i do a lookup and it shows me both records. I only want the first to show up because it just doubles the name twice. How can I make it so that when i lookup from that table, only the first (or last) record shows vs having both.

Hello, I'm using Airtable to project manage a fabrication project where multiple units will be built throughout the year. One scenario I would like to track is when there is a single task that needs to be done for each unit, but only when that unit is ready. For example, the task "schedule logo wrap" needs to be done for each unit, but only when that unit is ready for it. What I would like to be able to visualize is how many units have been completed, and how many are left - maybe display a percentage or some other visual indicator. I'm not sure if I should just duplicate the same task for each unit, or I can role all units up under one single task.My current setup is:Unit Table - Lists each unit numberThanks!Tasks Table - List each task that needs to be done.

Hello,I, like many here in the AirTable forums, have dealt with seemingly "random" file deletions. One of the issues with this bug is that it is often sporadic. However, I have recently refactored one of my cloud processes that processes data from a record, generates a data file (application/json type) and puts it back into the record. I have a consistent set of records that I can run this process on, and I can literally watch my process write in all of the files, and then anywhere from 1-20 seconds later I see the files deleted  realtime! I know that my code is doing nothing to actually delete the files, and you can even tell from the record history that something is awry because the original file write is by our "Software" user and it specifies the Users token, and then the deletion is also done by the "Software" user but no token is specified (see attached screenshot). I feel confident that I have no old API key based processes that would be doing this action. 

Hello community!I have a problem, which I've been unable to resolve myself.I have two different tables, of which one table contains different entrees (table 1), which get combined in the other table in groups (table 2).Now, in the first table (table 1) with different entrees all entrees have a name connected to it.But in the other table (table 2) that groups these entrees the name should also be shown (rollup from table 1).Now the problem is that the groups of tables exists mainly from entrees with the same name. And if I show the name through rollup, I see the name many times, not just one time. I would like to only show the name once if the entrees all contain the same name.Hope my explanation is clear.Does anyone know how to do this?

Is there any way to search for emoticons (any of them) in a text field, and replace with something like a dash or space? Is there a code for emoticon that allows a formula to search for this? Emojis and emoticons are often put into titles of blogs, but I am curating titles and creating url’s out of them, but want to remove any trace of these.

For every challenge I should have a service(s) (e.g. organizing the event / creating promo materials) in a Service table.I created an automation, which should work like this:1. Trigger: A new record is created in the Challenges table2. Condition: If in the newly created record (challenge) "Pricing" field is "Standard Pricing 2023" -> the automation should continue, if not -> nothing should happen3. Hey there! I have created an automation on my Airtable to send an SMS to my customer when they made a purchase. My customers are 2 tables : on the "Users" table and on the "Clients" table. I have their telephone numbers and also a formula field to convert their number in the French standard format : "+33678332729"When I type manually a telephone number on the field 'TO', the automation works and the SMS is well send. But, when I choose my specific formula field with the French standard format, It takes the source of the data (0678332729) and not the content (+33678332729)Here is some screenshot in attachment. Thank you in advance for your help!Seren

I have some doubts about formulas, I would be very happy if they work for what I need, here are my doubts: 1 - Is there any way to add numbers in a column automatically every time you turn the month? For example: Column “parcels” on 12/22/2021 = 1 on 01/22/2022 = 2 and so on? This would be very useful because here in Brazil we make purchases in installments, so the number of installments, changing month by month alone, would make it much easier. 2 - Is there any way for the formulas to understand the “unique selection fields”? I would like to create a formula like: If the “unique selection field” has the option “green” the answer is 1, if it has the option “purple” the answer is also 1, but if it has the option "black " the answer is “1/2” Thanks in advance!

Here's the challenge I need to find a solution for. I have a table of "Orders" placed by Girl Scouts in my troop. Their orders are for Girl Scout cookies they've sold.There are 9 possible cookies someone can order, and there's a number column for each cookie that contains how many packages they are ordering.Say an order comes for 3 Adventurefuls, 0 Lemonups, 4 Trefoils, and 10 Thin Mints, and 0 of the remaining cookies Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, Toffeetastics, and smores.  I need to create a record in another table, called Order Lines, for EACH cookie they ordered. In this case, I'd need 3 new records in the Order Lines table: Order Line 1: Adventurefuls, quantity 3Order Line 2: Trefoils, qty 4Order Line 3: Thin Mints, qty 10How do I create an automation that will create as many order line records as I have cookies ordered?
