Hello. I've been working on a database template to share with other organizations doing similar work. I've recently published that template to the Airtable Universe, but two views are not transferring correctly. These two views are filtered views, and they are filtered based on the values in a lookup field. They are working in my base, but in the published version, the filter remains, but the values are listed as "unnamed position." Those look-up fields are themselves looking up data from a linked field that meets certain criteria. I'm assuming there is something that is breaking in all the steps necessary to carry this over. Any ideas?

One of Airtable's FAQs on how to use a form to modify existing records utilizes automations. Fine, but if I'm going to use this a dozen times a day I'm going to be hitting my 100 monthly automation runs pretty fast, especially since I also want to email daily and weekly reports.So I ask, do automations acting exclusively within Airtable count towards that 100 number?

Hi all,I'm using a line graph in an Interface to show number of virtual vs in-person attendees at events each semester, but it's not catching when there are 0 in-person attendees at our virtual-only events. I have the semester in the X-axis, and count of records in the Y, grouped by the "In person / virtual" single-select field, as shown here:This works, except it doesn't 0-count semesters that were virtual-only (no records with "In person" in that field). I underlined the months where we actually had in-person attendees. 2019 Winter had 120 in person attendees, 2020 Spring was virtual-only, and 2020 Winter had 33 in-person, but because there is no 2020 Spring data the graph makes it look like there were 76 rather than dropping down to 0 and coming back up.It's so hard to tell which semesters there is actual data. How about creating a new field type ("Formula Script" or such), where Script (or at least some subscript) can be used for a field formula?  Or optionally allow Script in Formula field?

Hi y'all,So, I have a store on shopify were i sell products in stock and products that are on preorder. The variants in stock are defined by the word "EXPRESS" and a metafield in them, the rest of them don't have it. I'm using the AirPower template to track products and variants and sales but i don't know if it is the right solution for my case. I would like to automatize the tracking of the Variants i have in hand and once they go out of stock to transform them in preorder products automatically, so basically to delete the field "EXPRESS" and the Metafield attached. Also i would like to track sales too. What i'm struggling with is the way the Variants are logged.I have multiples of the same variant but bought at different price points and at different dates. I can't just add "#" to the variant quantity because i would lose the option to track how much i'm making on that specific variant and how long that product stays in my hand. Bo

Hello,Is there a way to hide te starting hour and ending hour in calandar view ? It's a information that I can already see due to his position in the time grid and I would love to remplace it with another field more usefull like notes.Best regards,Simon

Hello,We are a vitamin supplement company and we buy ingredients from all over the world. We have 178 different ingredients which are used to create 17 products.  Sometime the same ingredients will be used for five different products.We want to create an inventory table that we will update manually when we receive or buy new ingredients, but decrease automatically when we dispatch ingredients that will be used to manufacture the product.For example, if we bought 20kg of magnesium, we need to add this to the existing stock on hand, ie. 10kg.  A new total of 30kg in stock.  When we manufacture the product SleepEeze we'll send 25kg to our manufacturer, and the stock should automatically decrease to 5kg left as stock on hand.  But I'll also take 2.5kg to manufacture CalmEeze, which should remove from stock on hand.  And so on.   I feel like this is so easy but I can't wrap my head around it. How can I make my record list in an interface narrower?  It takes up too much horizontal space and is much wider than the longest record name.

I have created a dashboard with the Record Review Layout in my interface.On that i have used a specific filter for a view, including that a specific checkbox has to be unchecked.Now after the user has checked the record and adjusted some single select fields he should check the checkbox and the record should dissaper from the current view.This is working properly as of right now, BUT it is always showing this error messae:"Your chagnes will hide this record (called progam in my case). This record no longer matches your filters. It will be hidden when you select another record."Is there a way to remove or hide this warning message.Or is there another smooth way to remove the record out of this Filter view.

I can’t seem to get <RecordCard />s to play nicely as flexbox child or reliably fit 100% width of its container. The default width of a record card is set to 568px wide, which wouldn’t be much of an issue if this were taken care of in the class applied to record cards. Instead, the width (and height) are set with inline styling. Since the width default property won’t take “100%” or “auto” as valid inputs, I can’t use either of those. Setting width to {-1} kind of works by removing the inline styling and getting it to fill its container, but all the record’s fields disappear: I could apply a class with width set to “auto!important” to override the inline styling, but “!important” is not generally good practice. Anyone have some advice?

Hello, I’m building a database for work and it works pretty well. I’ve just one small problem with linking field on 2 tables in a one-to-many way. I’m linking 1 record from table1 to many records on table2. Works great. On table 2, I desactivated the multirecord link so I can only link 1 record form table1. Great again. The problem is that from table 1 I can make another record which link to the same record on table 2. So when I look in my second table, in my “single record link field” I still end up with 2 differents records from table1 ! So what I would need is to be able to link multiple records from table1 to table2 but without being able to record 2 time the same one. Any idea ? Thanks you for this wonderfull tool ! Nicolas

It seems this may not be a robust as I’d hoped. I have set up project and task tables. I would like many tasks to one project. I went to tasks table, created link to projects with “allow linking to multiple records” disabled. This works great for assigning a task to a project. If I now go to the projects table I can still assign an already assigned task to a different project and this then carries back through to ‘pollute’ the task can only be assigned to one project constraint I set up. Seems the many to one is not truly in the database but just in the selection phase of the app. Worst case I could hide the link field in the Projects table and replace it with a lookup showing the same thing - this will force users to initate the link in the tasks table where the front end entry is enforcing the one-to-many while still allowing view of tasks. Is this just a limitation or is there a way I can work around this?

Hello!I am just starting out with AirTable and I am trying to create an automation that when an item is moved to the status "Backorder" (this should happen when the field "B/O Qty" is greater than 0) in my "Open Orders" project, it is then duplicated into another project called "Backorder Clip". Once the order status is not "Backorder" anymore (or the B/O Qty goes to 0), it should be deleted from the "Backorder Clip" project and moved to the "Not Started" status in my "Open Orders" project. I can't seem to figure out exactly how to achieve this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Hello Airtable Community,I'm currently working on an exciting project using Softr, where I'm creating a ranking system for athletes. Each athlete is assigned a unique score based on their performance in various exercises, and this score is then used to sort the athletes in Airtable.I have connected it already with tables in Softr and sorting based on that score gives me the result I wanted, but I would like also to display what's their position: 1st, 2nd … etc.Do you have any how to write a formula which will give me thei exact position on the leaderboard?Best regards,Konrad

Hi All,I am trying to restrict which people can be chosen from a dropdown list of people for a user signin/out system. The way the system is designed is such that each group leader can view everyone in their group and none of the other users in the system. A medic can view everyone with limited information and an organizer can view all information for all people.I have created a signin/out table to allow each user to sign in a person, however when selecting a person from the drop down list they are able to see all people, not just the people in their group. Is it possible to restrict which users they are able to select from to be limited to their group. Automation set up was.Step 1: When a record matches a condition.Step 2: It will update a field which is the "Client Portfolio Record" (this is a linked to another record field to a view called Client Portfolio)This automation was just working fine before, but there was a change happened on the default column in "Client Portfolio view" which caused the issue. If you suggest putting it back to the normal setup, I can't because the default column in "Client Portfolio View" which is the "Portfolio Title" should be in formula type now. It should also remain as default column.  Is there any way to update this automation even if the Portfolio Title is still a computed field?

Hi,I'm getting this error when trying to append to a linked field. The code in question is: ModelRange.updateRecordAsync(record, {'Models List': [...record.getCellValue('Models List'),{id : BMRecord[0]}]}); I'm pretty sure that 'record' is indeed a record object, as it's obtained from  let query = await ModelRange.selectRecordsAsync(); let record = query.getRecord(another[0]); where another[0] is a record ID. Let me know if the rest of my code is needed to diagnose the error, although I can imagine that I'm missing something obvious.Thank you!

I am building a schedule/time management base where employees can show their interests for shifts by adding their names to a (multiple select) shift calendar. Employees are unionized and have to be prioritized by the lowest monthly hours given and seniority order. The issue i have is the names are sorted by whom added their names first to the shift interest multiple select column. How can this box by sorted by 'lowest hours, seniority' instead.... OR could i get airtable to suggest the right employee from the list of avaiable employees on a shift?

I have a formula field that calculates a value (results a number) based on a lookup field (e.g. a date). When the lookup field is empty due to a missing input, formula field results with a NaN or ERROR.In that case, I want to highlight RED color to that record so operators understand that they should fix the missing input. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to enter a color condition statement such as "WHEN formula field IS ERROR, SET COLOR red".Is there a solution for this? @dashler78 

We have connected our event registration from Wordpress to an Airtable table through Zapier and it was working for a while until it started glitching.. After a while we only started seeing part of the registrants, while the other part is not showing in the table, although we see it in Wordpress. We tested it out and got this screenshot.. The test go through as not an issue while this keeps appearing and we keep getting notification emails that something went wrong. Thanks everyone
