Hello everyone. I have developed a Content Management base in Airtable. Each record is an article or piece of content, with a draft due date and a publication date. I have used a zap to connect it to Google Calendar, so that each new piece of content will show as a multiday event from the draft due date to the publish date in Google Calendar. However, this zap only adds new events to Google Calendar, but if I change the dates to a record in Airtable or to an event in Google Calendar, these changes are not updated in the other app. Does anyone know if it is possible to keep Airtable and Google Calendar in sync using zapier, and how this could be done? Thank you in advance.

Airtable would instantly jump to one of my most used apps if it leveraged If This Then That’s platform for integrations. Think about instant integrations to apps like Trello, TodoIst, Evernote, Gmail, Google Drive, etc. It would be AMAZING!

Is there a way in IFTTT to retrieve a particular field of a newly created row? I’ve got a contact list airtable, and want to update a Mailchimp list whenever I put a new record into Airtable. I had a look at building this in IFTTT, but couldn’t see a way to get the value in (for example) the ‘Name’ field in Airtable so that I could put it in the ‘Name’ field in Mailchimp. There’s an ingredient called RecordJson, which I assume has all the data from the new record, but I can’t find any documentation about how to pull a particular element from the JSON. Is this possible with IFTTT, or only in Zapier? (I know there’s a recipe which claims to do this, but I can’t see how it’s able to connect the relevant fields.)

I am trying to connect Airtable and Google sheet through IFTTT Triggers I seek to a row of data entered in Google Sheet pulled from Airtable whenever a Trigger is fired in IFTTT. It all working fine. But the Google Sheet has data spat out and the data is scattered in the a single colum, and is not properly formatted, which is cumbersome to read as IFTTT is getting the row of data and adding the row to Google Sheets without adding the Colum Heads in the Sheet. Hi all,On of my bases shows a warning label: This base is over record limits.That's not possible, there are only 140 records in the base.I have bases with over 10.000 records that do not show this warning.How do I solve this?p.s. Why is it so hard to just reach someone at Airtable for support...?

I would like to know how to auto number based on the building link and location name in my base. as per the picture below. Can someone let me know if this is possible and if so the solution.TIA. James. 

Hi all, I have been playing with the SYNCH API for a while with excellent results. I found this capability very useful for creating and updating records. So far so good.My next challenge is to fill a table which one of its fields can hold a text coming from a legacy system. The problem I'm facing is that those texts include "," (commas) since they are descriptions and side information related to every record.I would like to keep the original format, otherwise it can be difficult to understand and read, however, when I try to use the synch API to move the data, I just crash with the CSV definition. I have not found a way to scape the commas in the string that is passed to the synch API, so it cannot process the request for those records.Has anybody faced the same situation? any hint? workarounds?... any help is welcome 🙂

Hi everyone! Please give advice on how to sort a list of records inside a Google Doc. 

I'm trying to write a formula to check whether a lookup field contains a specific value.These lookup fields might contain one or multiple values, e.g.applesapples, pearspears, bananas, strawberriesI've been using the formula IF(FIND("apples", {fruitName}), "yes", "no") In this case, I would expect 1 and 2 to return as "yes", but only 1 is returning yes. Find seems to require an exact match, and if there are other values in the lookup field, it returns false. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

I would like to dynamically edit an embedded view or dynamically pre-edit records of a shared interface.I see these two routes as leading to the same result (?):Show a preselected set of records on a public place (no airtable account, no email signup) with just a link or embedded on my webpage. Does the question make sense?Super best case scenario is to call specific "filtered by formula" records through the API/URL and have these records nicely presented either on an interface or an embedded view. 

Hello, Im trying to create a form where someone will need to upload some assets. But I want the assets to automatically be added to dropbox where I will store the assets. The form is just a way to get the required form filled out and assets uploaded.  

Hey guys,Trying to create a template that will be sent to a customer based on a records status. I want to create a button that gives the client receiving the email the opportunity to click "approve" which will then fill the field and give me the chance to create another automation based on the entry.When the email is sent, the button after "approve here" is not there. Is this possible? 

Dear community members,I am trying to create an AI extension within my team's Airtable so that we can have AI summarizing the table for us more easily. I am done with the development, but I only realized now that the only option for me to publish it is to publish it publicly, and it even needs to be reviewed by the Airtable team.Is there a chance I can publish this in a way that only my internal team members can access the extension and not publicly? I don't plan to sell the extension nor allow others to use it, but I am not sure if there's an option for me to do so.I am expecting something similar to Figma's Private Organizational Plugin  Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi all!I'm using Airtable to track leave requests and automatically add peoples approved leave requests to Google Calendar. Currently, I have 'Leave Start Date' and 'Leave End Date' date fields which are used as the 'Start Date' and 'End Date' of the creating a google calendar event automation. However, the event rarely gets published with the correct end date. Instead, the event often gets published with an End Date one day before the submitted 'Leave End Date' (i.e. a leave that's supposed to be from October 1-October 10 will get published as October 1-October 9). Both of my calendars are in the same time zone, and even more confusing, the Start Date is always correct. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!

Hello!  Is it possible to make a URL that opens a specific date on an Interface with a Calendar? You can link to specific dates on Calendar Views by adding "?date=YYYY-MM-DD" to the end of the URL. Is the same functionality or something similar available for Calendar Interfaces?I've looked through a bunch of help pages, and can't find anything that mentions it one way or the other.--The first issue I'm trying to solve is that when you search for an event on a calendar interface, you have the ability to open the event details, but not the ability to jump to that event on the Calendar (this is the only thing I miss from Google Calendars, but I miss it a lot). The only option is to navigation arrow click through weeks/months until you reach that date, which is extra annoying if the date happens to be years in the past or future. I could potentially fix

Hi, I'm trying to link two tables.  One of my tables (Inventory) has a URL field that I'd like to reference in the other table (Customer Project).  All the fields have linked well except the URL isn't working on the field I linked to (Customer Project).  For reference I have an inventory table and a Customer Project Table.  When I go to the customers table, I'd like to use the link from the inventory table.  I set the Field with the URL as a look up.Seems I've missed a step or misunderstood something. Thanks  

Is it possible to embed the interface into a webpage? Kinda like you can do with an Airtable gallery view?

As the name suggests, I would like to copy and consolidate records based on one field into new tables. Perhaps an example would help: Let’s say I’m a store that sells apples, oranges, and bananas. Every time I sell a fruit, I record it in the Main Table by selecting the fruit in a dropdown menu with other purchase information like customer name, date and time of purchase, etc. The dropdown menu is multi-select since customers can buy more than one kind of fruit at a time. In addition to all fruit purchase information in the Main Table, I would like to create three new tables: Apples, Oranges, and Bananas that only contain the purchase history of the one respective fruit. The idea is that each table will automatically copy over a record from the Main Table when I select a fruit. Any ideas on how I might go about doing this? Thanks in advance!

I recently created my first automation with conditional formatting. This is a great feature that I will be able to get a lot of use from, however, the only condition group in my automation that is working properly is the first one. The run history will show that the others have worked, but my team isn't getting Slack messages from the automations like they're supposed to.  How do I fix this?

I have searched for how to do this, but it seems unclear. There is no way to group by year, specifically. You can only select past year, next year, specific number of days, etc. So how do you group items by year?
