Is there a way to put parts of a formula (while writing or editing it) on separate lines, like in a visual editor, to better organize? It works when I cut and paste, but I can’t figure out how to do it in the box. Any suggestions?

Hi All, I'm trying to use a linked record to pull up the TRT of an asset that's listed out as a full timecode, extract just the hours and minutes and put that into a duration field. I've gotten so far as to pull the hours and minutes but when I set the automation to fill the duration, because it's not reading the text as seconds, it's coming in with the wrong duration. I haven't been able to get datetime_parse to convert the text to time. I can sense there's an easier way to do this that I'm just not landing on but nothing I've tried has worked.

Hello everyone,I have used scripts a lot in the Automations pannel. However, I'd like to create more user friendly experiences using the Script Extension.Upon creating my system, it appears that buttons that trigger script extensions can not be run from an Airtable interface. Can anyone confirm that? Is there a way to create better experiences directly in the interface pannel by allowing users to follow a set of actions as defined in those scripts? Hello, I am having issues with adding additional advertising week options to the formula below. This formula works well:IF(AND({Advertising Plan}, {Live Date}),SWITCH( {Advertising Plan},"4 weeks", DATEADD({Live Date}, 27, 'days'),"52 weeks", DATEADD({Live Date}, 364, 'days'))) But as soon as I try to add additional week options (I have already added them to the Advertising Plan single select field), I get the 'formula not valid warning'. Hey there!I am an Airtable novice looking for formula help. 🙃I have a table with columns: Year, Candidate, Entity/Org, Side, Race Level, State, DistrictRight now, my formula is:IF(Candidate !="", CONCATENATE({Candidate},", ",State," ",District),CONCATENATE({Entity/Org}," - ", Side))which will pull the Entity/Org & Side when the candidate field is empty. I know how to make my date show correctly using DATETIME_PARSE(DATETIME_FORMAT({EDate}, 'MM/DD/YY'))And I know how to create a new string by using this formula{EDate (from Events For Sync)}& "- "&{EID#}But what I can't figure out is how to make the first formula work with the second formula into one formula that works.I've tried different ways but nothing seems to work and I am stumpedThis may seem easy for some - but I am frustrated that the date field when you have it set for one way doesn't carry the content over when used in a formula.  But whatever.

We would benefit greatly if a timeline view could be set to week (or preferably a user-selectable qty of days) but still show the records by hour. Today it seems to be only possible to show records by hour when in the single day view. When using any date setting other than Day, even if something is only 9-11am on a given day, it will simply show as an all-day event. This is not effective for scheduling events that are not all day, or, in our case, events that occur through the night.The calendar view does have a 3-day option that can be shown by hour, but it does not allow for grouping so the calendar view is not an appropriate solution for resource planning.

Hey all!I run the backend of a small newspaper, and one thing we do is make a list of "happenings" that we publish each month. I had set up a back-end system via Airtable collection form, and the listings were then compiled into a Google doc via automations, and it was working great until this month when suddenly basically all my automations were failing - suspiciously only ones that involve dates like one-day and multi-day events. Did something change with Airtable automations in the past few weeks or what is going on! I had to manually add all the listings this month and it was a pain. Desperately hoping someone can advise, happy to share more info -- could not for the life of me figure it out,Thank you!!

Hi,I would like to share a record from my base via email.I opened the base, selected the record I wanted to share and chosen "send record."Then I got an error message "this row could not be sent because recipients must be collaborators on the base or workspace." So I invited the recipient to become a collaborator. The recipient received and accepted the invitation but even so they are not showing as a collaborator in the base and I am getting the same error message when I try to "send record."I am on the free plan and I have not allocated all the editor roles availableDoes anyone have any ideas/suggestions what I can do?Thanks 

Is it possible to create a new record from within an interface's form lookup field?I'm running into an issue where I need to be able to use a lookup field in my form, but often need to create a new lookup field record on the spot.  See below image with what I need, but must not be an option.  

Is this simply being overlooked right now by Airtable? Currently we "add new records through a form".  However, the form lacks the capability to "create a new record" for a lookup field.  However, I noticed, that in an interface, if you turn on the ability to edit/delete records in-line, then you get the ability to create a new record directly from the lookup field.  Seems like this is something that just hasn't been rolled out yet?  Editing/adding records inline, isn't a great solution for our workflow, so really trying to figure this out! I synced Wordpress to Airtable using Zapier. Whenever I submit a form on Wordpress, the information is shown automatically in Airtable. However, the only issue I am facing is that attachments are not showing at all. I have a form field where users can upload their profile pictures. The attachment in Airtable shows empty. Only if I upload directly an image from Airtable the image is shown (Row 2). However, that is not what I want. I want the image submitted in the wordpress form to show in Airtable. Any idea where the issue might come from? Thank you for taking the time and helping! Jad 

Hi dear airtable community, I’m using airtable curl API and I want to get the data from the oldest. I believe the go here is the sort parameter passed on as a query, but the createdTime is outside of fields, how can I access that? createdTime has to stay and must stay out of fields for my use case. Hello!I would like to figure out how to share a database between two users for personal use. The paid plans that allow for Airtable Sync are a bit too expensive for me to be able to justify for just this use, so I would like to understand what my other options are.To expand on the use case, I would like to set up a career search workspace. In this workspace, two users that are applying to the same companies (and sometimes the same jobs) would be able to track applications, interview, and job offers for various jobs across different companies. I am envisioning a base that contains a "Companies" table and a "Jobs" table. Each job, when entered via a form, would be marked as being applicable to one or both of the users. These jobs would then sync to the applicable user(s)'s unique Application-tracking database. In my mind, splitting Companies/Jobs into one base and Applications/Interviews/Offers into another base (vs. all in one base) would prevent the need to create seve

I have the calendar working and syncing with all my accounts. I am looking for a way to align the appointments in columns based on with email the appointment is made with. Currently all appointments get aligned left and if there is a opening in the schedule, those appointments shift left and are no longer aligned top to bottom.  I only care how it looks on the public shared calendar.

My team is in the process of building a master planning base that will require eventual syncing from several different Airtable bases across our company. We've installed the dedupe extension and it works for anything created in our master tab. However, it doesn't work on items in that tab where one or more of the duplicates was synced in from another base (for reference each department currently has its own tab with one way sync enabled into this base, and then we have automations set up to create records with the needed information in our master tab whenever something is added to a dept tab).  Is it because some records are being created in our master tab using an automation? Any help would be appreciated, thanks! 

I am trying to build a functioning workout log for this new workout plan I am planning to start.  I want to be able to create it on interface designer and be able to update it on my phone as I am in the gym.The workout is divided into 12 weeks with 4 workouts a week, each workout day is divided into two sections.Here is an example: Each week there is a slight progression and every three weeks the plan updates with new exercises, but overall stays within the same model of 3 days of Strength work and specialization, and one day with special workouts.I would love to be able to easily add in the weight of each set I perform as
