Hey guys,I have attached an airtable form link to my wix website but it loads extremely slowly. It was not like this before. Any hints on how to resolve this?

I want to use the “send an email once a record is created” automation tool, yet I want it to from an alias account connected to my g-suit account. For example- once a user is registered to my website I create a record containing all his info. then I want to automate an email welcoming him to our service, yet I want the mail to be sent from an alias account (info@…com) and not my personal address (for example- david@…com). Airtable allows me to connect my g-suite account (david@…com), but the alias account (info@…com) cannot be connected (because there is no actual account). Any suggestions on how to set an auto-reply from my alias account?

Hello, I am looking for a way to calculate a date minus x days based on a date field. I.e. the result should be 31.12.2023 (DD.MM.YYYY) minus 10 days = 21.12.2023. How can I do this? I tried to use this formula, but it returned an error:  DATETIME_FORMAT(DATEADD({Date Field}, -10, 'days'), 'DD.MM.YYYY') Thanks for help, M.

Hi all,I hope you can help:At the moment, he same view in interface designer hides the other fields of a record (please see the attached screenshots) which make them really difficult to find the right lesson when people use compared to the database. Hey y’all, Starting to dip my toes into Airtable Automations which are pretty neat, but worried about long term maintainability if I am to lean on them more heavily. Do you all know of any ways to report errors within Airtable itself? Or is it better to wrap all scripts in a try catch & report to an external error service like Sentry?

Is it possible to set a table to sync from an Excel Sheet?  I know I can import data, and I know I can setup Bases to sync, but I'm looking to set up a Table to pull data from an Excel sheet and keep up to date with those changes.

Hi all, I've been a fly on the wall in the community for a while now, today I need some help. I reviewed this post to help me with my problem, however I'm still running into issues I can't seem to get around with my current ability. An automation is failing with the following error:"field "ID" cannot accept the provided value: cannot modify a computed field" The automation is supposed to create a new record in table "grants", when the "proposal" form is filled in. However, the automation fails to create an ID in the "ID" field in the "grants" table.  What is strange about this error is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know why. Looking forward to your response.

We have two bases, a UAT and a Prod base.  Changes are made to the UAT base, and once approved, we sync to the Prod base.  We notice that the records themselves sync over, but they are not in the same order.  Are we missing something or is this a limitation of sync?

I am trying to create a table that is linked to a Box folder where I have hundreds of folders inside the root folder. Those folders contain other sub-folders and tens of thousands of files. (Root Folder>Folder>sub-folders/files). I don't want all the (sub)folders and files to be synched to my table, just the folders. In other words, I want all the information to live inside of box and just have a button/link to click to open the folder where the (sub)folders and files reside. There doesn't seem to be a way to just have the folders synched without it trying to synch all the (sub)folders and files. Needless to say, it quickly hits the 10,000 record limit. Howevere, all the folders I actually want to see are included within the synched table. I can create a filter to weed out the sub-folders and files, but I don't want that information just hanging around burning up records (counting towards my record limit). I hope all that makes sense. Hi all, is it possible to run the “Sync now” command which synchronizes the records from the source base through a script? I would like to create an automation that has a webhook as its trigger and this script as an action. This is because I have a scenario on Integromat which sometimes fails as it does not find the record that has not yet been synchronized (despite there is a 5 minute “sleep” module). We recently encountered an issue where a user ad hoc added options to a multi select field that should not have been there.Is there any way to lock down available field options so a user is not able to add them in?

Hello, has anyone experienced this issue as of now on October 6, 2023?I usually copy and paste leads from our sheets to Airtable to directly upload leads for our campaign. However, at 5am ET, I couldn't even copy and paste a single row into our database.Is there a solution for this? I noticed announcements stating that Airtable is performing database upgrades today, so I suspect that might be the reason. However, I'm not sure if this is happening only on my end.I would appreciate hearing from others as well.

Today the "Expand the table" feature stopped working for me. I see it's happened to others in the past. I'm using the work-around of creating enough empty records in the destination table before I paste, but that's only feasible for small datasets. If there's a way to automatically create a specified number of empty records, that would be helpful, too.I don't think mismatched structure between origin and destination tables is the problem, as I had always been able to paste records into a mismatched view when I wasn't paying attention.Has Airtable has ever addressed why this happens? It would be great to be able to fix it, as my business process is heavily dependent on this feature.

I’m probably missing something, but how do I get the current day of the year? For instance, we have WEEKNUM(TODAY()), but not DAYNUM(TODAY())? I can do year(today()), and week(today() but when I do day(today()) it shows the day of the month and not the year. Thanks! Example: Jan 1st 2021 is day 1, etc.

Hello everyody,I have 2 tables with date column.When record is created in Table 1, I want to find all the records in Table 2 where the date is the same.For this case i need to use a condtion with dynamic date field, I found out I can do it with a string field using the gear icon and choosing 'dynamic' instead of 'static', though I couldnt find this icon when conditioning date field.Is this function unavailable, or am I missing anything? is there a different way to do so? 

I created my own Extension under "Build an extension". I've released these extension command using block add-remote , block run and block release. It working fine in that base, but I want these extension in my other bases. Is it possible to access by other bases?How and where the released Extension is findable?

I have a base with two tables. One table is contacts while another is companies. For my contacts, I have a field called location which is a series of metros: NY, SF, DC, London, etc...I'd like my companies' table location field to have the same list of locations. Is there a way to reuse the field, but not have them link to one another?(I dont anticipate wanting to ever connect a contact to a company, and if i do it would be with different data than what i have in my contacts records anyway)

Hi all,I have a table, called my Sync table, that I link whatever I need into several different tables. I want to add long-text columns to my Sync table and then hyperlink the fields. I then want to lookup those fields in all of the different tables that I'm syncing into. However, when I've tried to do this I've noticed that only the text is transferred to the Lookup field in the new table, but the text is not hyperlinked. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks!
