Hey guys, Just signed up and exploring all the possibilities of Airtable.What I need to do is create a chart tracking my financial portfolio performance over time (I doubt it's possible to create charts, so essentially a table with two columns - one with the day, one with the portfolio value - extracted from another table. Can the entry creation be automated?So let's say every day at 6am, it creates a new entry for that day and takes the value of the portfolio at that time.I hope it's clear.Example: Sun 24$10,250Mo 25$10,480Tue 26$9,880Another option would be to have the days pre-populated (manually

I can use a little bit of help here from the experts....  We currently have a Google API integration with Airtable  on a project and we have set up routing and it is working well to create and updates routes (route records) within AT for us, but we don't know how to do 2 things we want to do:I don't know how to get an actual link back from Google Maps to the route record (we are using Make for this integration) to just show the route (waypoints) on an actual google mapI am wondering if there is any way to update the route waypoints (drag and drop on the map into a different order) and have it actually update the route records in Airtable when we adjust the route order on the actual map?

Hello,I set up an automation to notify certain colleagues when an asset is due to expire or up for renewal. Everything looks right, but when I send a test of the notice to myself and one other person, the notification goes through, but the identified asset that is due to expire is not included with the email notification. Hello,I have been creating interfaces for my techs to use so they can update jobs while in the field - the interface is designed to give them the information they need about a job, and allow them to quickly take notes, upload pictures, and log their time. Unfortunately, when I open the iPhone app and pull up this interface, I'm not able to edit any of the records! I can see them all just fine, but it's just not editable. According to the announcement of interfaces on iOS (https://community.airtable.com/t5/announcements/introducing-mobile-interfaces-on-iphone/ba-p/160766), we should be able to edit records, but the option just isn't appearing for me.I'm using the List interface, and have enabled the option to allow users to edit records inline. I can edit records using the interface on desktop just fine, but the iPhone app does

I tried it with “Sales/SUM(Sales)” in different ways, but the result is always 1. Shame on me, but I have no idea anymore. Thanks for advice.

Hi, I couldn't find an automation trigger that ignites actions "when a record is deleted".  I have 3 tables interconnected (Projects, Tasks and Allocations), and when a project is deleted I need to delete the associated Tasks and Allocations.  How can I do this?Thank you since now,Gustavo Chelles

  A good example of what I am trying to do . . . . when you fill out a job application and it says list your most recent employment and it provides categories for date, company, address, title, etcetera.  I want the person answering to be able to say I have two and then a table is created where they can then fill in the information for each.  The number would/could be different for individuals answering . . . I want airtable to take the answer to one question and create a custom table within the questionnaire to collect the data needed for the specific number answered.How do I create something like this in airtable?

Hi,I'm trying to find a way but have yet to find anyone who has managed to solve this specific problem. I want to include an image, a big thumbnail in the body of the email, and it needs to be fetched from an attachment field "Artwork" in the trigger record.I have tried;1. Adding the small attachment thumbnail to the body, which makes the thumbnail too small and compressed.2. Using a formula to derive a public image URL from the attachment and including that in the body, which doesn't seem to work anymore since Airtable doesn't support public URLs from attachments (?).3. Simply adding the attachment in the email and choosing "Thumbnail" which leads to an error message saying "map(Artwork, propertyGetter("thumbnails")) cannot be converted to a string".Uns

Hi I have a formulaDATEADD({Kick off},{Time Estimate (Fibonacci Minutes)},"minutes") Whereby {Kick off} is an date field set to ISO and 24 hour time{Time Estimate (Fibonacci Minutes)} is a drop down with a Fibonacci sequenceI want the DATEADD formula above to return the expected job completion date and time so that I can feed it straight into my calendar. Weirdly, it's an hour out.For eg a kick off date of  2023-05-10 00:01 with a fibonacci of 21 returns 2023-05-09 23:22, when it should be 2023-05-10 00:22.Any ideas? 

Hi,I have added a number of bases to a screen/page on my Samsung A53. Normally, I would just be able to click the icon and this would bring up the base concerned - but this hasn't worked in the last couple of weeks. Instead, all I get is the list of my Airtable bases after a lengthy wait (not at all unusual).Would anyone be able to offer insight?Thanks  

Hi, How do I get currency (ie. $22.00) to display the cents “.00” when exporting? I have an integromat automation that links Airtable to email and when I use mapping for my dollar amount it only shows the whole number (ie. $22.00 shows 22 – $22.50 shows 22.5). Thanks!

Hi all,I'm using Airtable to plan and track renovation and landscaping tasks. I have a table that has one field (text) for tasks and a 'prerequisites' field that is linked to the tasks field. This shows me other tasks that need to be done first. I am trying to create a formula that will show me whether the task at hand is a prerequisite task for any others.I tried  IF(FIND(Task, Prerequisite), "Yes", "No")  but that (kind of obviously) always return "No" because a task is never a prerequisite of itself.How can I get it to identify if the a task is a prerequisite for any other task?Alternatively, is it possible yet to automatically produce a field for the link in the opposite direction when records are linked within the same table?Thanks!

I am planning on doing a clean install, totally reinstalling my MAC when Apple releases the next version of the OS this Sept. In preparation I wanted to create an Air Table with the license keys and more importantly the location to the installation files. I am using a date and time field that shows in ET- i.e 9/22/2023 11:00am. It was showing up in a weird way in automations, so i followed a formula that i saw in a pervious post to format it -DATETIME_FORMAT({Launch Date & Time},'M/D/YYYY \\at h:mma') - but then for some reason it's showing is as "9/22/2023 at 4:00pm". I obviously want it to show as "9/22/2023 at 11:00am"- What am i doing wrong?

I am attempting to send information from Airtable to Zapier and ultimately a message to a client. I am using the Automations > When Record Is Created trigger to Run Script. Hello Everyone!Can someone help me troubleshoot why using IF formula with arguments containing field values with decimal points return errors? Dear community,We have a group coffee and drinks pool at work that everyone can help themselves to as long as they write up their use. I am using airtable to track everyones consumption and payments, which works great. I managed to set up automations for emails to notify what the users owe and when their payment has been received. The only thing that I can't figure out for the life of me is how I set up an automated email reminder if they haven't paid after 14 days.I have the following table (simplified):Let's say I do the invoicing every 15th of the month and want to send out a payment reminder on the last day of the month. In my example above person ABC wouldn't need a reminder because they already paid while person XYZ still owes $30. I figured out how to send out an email if the Total is >$0 but I can't figure out how to make it conditional that this
