I have a fairly complex set up that I may need to hire someone to help us complete, but I'm hoping to answer a few basic questions before putting in all of that time and money.We design and manage renovation projects for 5-15 clients at one time.  We collect records for various products and materials, present them to our clients (option 1, option 2, etc.), get approvals and create a final list of the approved products and materials to accompany our construction documents.  Sometimes we use the same products and materials on several projects, but each project requires different quantities, colors, pricing, tax rates, etc.  I've tried creating one "master catalog" base that has tables for products, vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, categories, etc. and a separate base for each project.  Each project can have a list of 100-400+ required items and we might collect 2-3 options for each item on the list. Hi all,We have an AirTable base for our marketing team that has multiple "sub-bases" leading into one "master base". The thought of this is to have everyone keep their work flow in their base and have all the information on the team in one place with the master base. We do have an enterprise account which is why this question pop's up, why can't we edit fields in the master base. At first we were able to but it switched and now the master base has little to no use.  Thanks,Will

Hi there, We use airtable to track employee hours and payroll. A former employee set up our base so I'm a bit unfamiliar how to make changes to the boards within airtable. However, I have two new employees that I'm trying to generate a random employee ID number for and can't get a number to generate. I'm not completely sure where to go to make the changes. When I go to add a new employee to the base, a "number" generates but it has both numbers and letters, I'm looking for a pure number. Screenshots attached. Any help would be extremely appreciated 

Hello everyone. I just started my journey with air table but I am facing a dilemma with hidden field formation on a form that i am tryng to create. Here is the background of my issue. I have two tables Delegates and Summary: The "Delegates" section contains details such as names, businesses, and dates of birth. The "Summary" section is linked to the "Delegates" table and presents information in a structured manner. It includes not only names, businesses, and birthdates but also 80 additional fields representing steps that delegates need to complete in a program. Delegates can complete these steps in any order; for instance, Delegate 1 might finish steps 1 and 3, while Delegate B might complete steps 3, 4, 6, and 7. Each step allows the delegate to select whether it was completed before the bootcamp (BF), after the bootcamp (AB), or during the bootcamp (BT). This selection is indicated in the respective cells, distinguishing between AB and BT.

Records created with a specific timestamp range. (For my use case it would be records created in the current month).2. Records created that are associated to values across one of three columns. (For my use case we would be Baisc OR Pro OR Premium. Hello, I'm trying to create a new record in my base every time a new row is added to a google sheet. However, when I try to configure the Automation I don't have the option to select the fields I want to add (Title, Brand, Supplier, Cost) but instead it shows me "Product" and "Detail" that are in the headers in first row of the google sheet.Any way to solve for this?Thanks! ProductDetails TitleBrandSupplierCostPantsXTBD$4.00

Hey Y'all!I'm struggling to figure out how to do the following and would love some help!I've built a base that tracks registered and onboarded people in a "People" table. "Registered" and "Onboarded" are options in a single select field. The end result of what I'm trying to build is a simple graph that has day on the X axis and a record count on the Y axis. I want to have daily snapshots of total number of registered and onboarded people as my Y Axis. I want to automate this somehow. I think I should make a new table with dates as the primary field and then one field that is the total registered people for the day and another field that is total onboarded people for the day.But how can I automate this so I don't have to check and update daily?I figured automation would work, but the options are so limited with a time as a trigger.I'm thinking I might need a script that runs daily?Can someone help me out here? T

Hello,I can't find the issue here that is preventing what i thought would be a very simple table calculation.I have a table called Deals with many different fields but one of them is a currency field that i want to use a rollup field in another table to calculate the sum of the values in this currency field.I'm stumped as to what i am missing here but all i get are zero values. I tried to workaround the currency field by making a formula field that just turns the currency values into normal integers but no luck.I attached a few screenshots for context, hopefully someone can see what i'm missing.Thanks,Alec

I'm trying to add tags to records via bulk import (1,800+ records) and I do not want to override the tags that are in the column now, but add additional tags to that column. Is there a way to do this? 

Is there a way to create a time slot, similar to when you add a calendar a pop up appears and you can choose a date. I've aded a screenshot of what I've created, which is a single select option, But would like it to be more flexible. So, if you choose 9am it will autofill a a two hour duration, 9-11 or if you chose 8am it will autofill 8-10 am.Thanks. le.

I have a time tracker table and a time tracker rollup table.I have a Formula in the Time Tracker Table which Concatenate({Department},"-",{Week #},"-",{Employee}).So the output becomes: Logistics-35-John DoeIn this Time Tracker table, I have a Duration time based on a (Start Date/Time) and (End Date/Time). I have two automations.- 1. When a new record is created take Formula Column and enter the output into the Linked Column cell.- 2. When a record is edited take Formula Column and enter the output into the Linked Column cell.The process that occured, was that an employee uses a form and enters their department, time, and start/end time. When the record is created the formula then creates the data entry (e.g.: Logistics-35-John Doe). The automation would then take the formula and enter it into the linked cell. The linked cell would then populate the linked cell which was a single row (Logistics-35-John Doe)

How do I create a table that shows the number of emails sent per day?

Looking for a simple formula that spits out that last Friday of the calendar year. I'm trying to avoid needing to make this a manual update so would love to find a formula that just spits that out without me having to update it at the beginning of the year.  Thank you! 

I just spent thirty minutes trying to help an Airtable customer in a DM only to have the message rejected.Khoros places a very high tax on communication and Airtable cannot apparently see why this is not in their own or customer's interests.What are y'all thinking?

Hello. I have data that is in 2 separate sheets on my Airtable and the common reference is the vendor ID.I want to link the column Vendor ID on the Data Page to get information available on the Cost Center Information page when I click on the Vendor ID in the Data Page.On the Cost Center Information page there are multiple cost centers for a single vendor ID in many cases.I tried to link the Vendor ID column to Cost Center Information page but it is only picking up the first line having a cost center.Can I get some help on how I can do this?

Hello, I’m new to the Airtable platform, thank you all for your future answers :slightly_smiling_face: With the Interface Designer application, I would like to display a sum of durations in a graph. The field is well created as a duration but impossible to sum it in the graphs. On the other hand, no problem in the Number element, the sum of the durations does this well. Could you help me on this problem where maybe because of BETA version this option is not developed yet? thank you for your comeback Cordially
