[iOS] Unexpected cursor jump to end of textbox by_a_Replacing Paste :::1️⃣ The flaw.  Here's a crooked example of it – just for putting an Airtable non-rich text data box to the test on iOS.  All I would ask you to do is go through the almost stepless scenario of an immediate and in-place "Select / Copy / Paste", or perhaps "Select / Copy / Reselect / Paste" – the latter in case the selection gets dropped upon Copy.  The selection can be just a_single word, or it can be whichever text portion you choose to select. The outcome of this essentially meaningless scenario will be particularly striking when performed from an editing position somewhere early in the text box at hand.  Indeed, the result of the "whole" operation is supposed to have nothing actually changed, but a side-effect makes the insertion point out of the blue jump to end of field

AirTable v9.6 on iOS (v16.6) seems no longer able to open up any linked record. At least that's what I_see when checking out the "Simple Project Tracker" demo base.// AirTable v9.6 on iOS ;// 2023.07.26.Wed.16:44.

The Goal is that I will have a new formula field, which gives me the lowest value of all 6, to be more precise a word which belongs to one of the dedicated fields (here it would be value "8" - field "1.6+2.6+3.6 traditio..." matching word which should be shown is "traditional")Best case would be, I also have a second field with the second lowest value of all 6 (here it would be value "9" - field "1.5+2.5+3.5 traditio..." matching word should be "social"

Attached Screenshots. Issue 1: View - Slack-Send Tomorrow's ScheduleThis view will send tomorrows(Friday) employee schedule to a Slack channel at 7pm every night. I'd like this view to automatically change to Saturday's Schedule, on Friday Morning. Issue 2: View - Working Schedule_Current Week + View: Working Schedule_Next WeekI'd like these Views to Auto Populate as many fields as possible, except Employee Names. Main fields would be the date with start and end times. 7 Lines for Summer Camp 10am-3pm, 3 Lines for Summer Camp 8:15am-3pm, 3 Lines for Open Level Fly 4pm-6pm, ect. Then on Sunday at set time_Current Week removes last week and populates new week, then the Next Week Schedule View pulls in. Appreciate the help!   

I’m trying to create a custom block, but when I run: block run I get: Error: listen EACCES: permission denied 0.0.0.0:9001 I’ve checked and there’s a system task already listening to this port, so I’m not able to just kill it. Is there a way to change the listening port so that I can make this work?

I am creating an asset register with the current values of assets. I have two formula columns in use to output the current data. Wondering if I can combine/nest the two formulas into one? This is what I have now, any advice on how I would combine these into one forumla? Top row is one column, bottom is the final row with current value.   (DATETIME_DIFF(TODAY(), {Purchase Date}, "years") * {Depreciation Percentage} * {Price}) MAX(SUM(Price-{Depreciation}),0)

Hello. I am new to AirTable... not new to the concepts of relational databases...I created a simple "base" that I used the Lemonade stand template to get me going. I added a few fields to the main inventory table. I added a table to link to the inventory called Categories. It will help with filtering and sorting. It is for a small restaurant to help with ordering inventory. For now, I just need to use it as a shopping list, but see the potential. This thing could track inventory, etc.... Next, I imported the data. Roughly 350 rows. Next, I created a form to enter new items. Lastly, I created two new views into the main table... one that only has the item name, the category, and the supplier with a checkbox for a field called "Order". The workflow should be that i bring up the Shopping List. It sorts, groups, and filters things so it is easy to walk around the place with the iPad and scroll through the list, tapping the "Order" checkbox for the items I would like t

I’m using Airtable as a database as that’s where my clients data was already. Integrating in a react app using node/express/webpack deployed to heroku. When I bring in data from a long text block from Airtable, some characters are automatically escaped with backslashes - these are not visible in the UI of the airtable database. I'm generating HTML emails and sending them using the Gmail automation.  They work great, except when a user puts a return character in the form used to generate the email (i.e. hits return on the keyboard inside the field (type=long text, rich text NOT enabled).  When there's a return character, even though the HTML looks solid, and is passed directly to the gmail automation, when the email is received on the client, where the return character was a bunch of closed HTML tags are inserted ( </p> </td></table> </div> etc) which totally breaks the HTML code and makes the rendering awful.Anyone else dealt with this?

I was just checking out the docs page of airtable interfaces, and this was at the top, updated July 6. “While elements-based interface layouts are still currently available, we invite you to try the newer. These layouts offer a more streamlined building process that ensures consistency and efficiency throughout your organization.”Does that mean they’re completely removing the customizable, drag-and-drop interfaces? Is this the plan? Because that would completely kill my interfaces.

Did I miss the announcement where Airtable said that they were changing the format for share links for Forms?The change briefly broke access to my form and now my prefill formulas are no longer working. Is anyone else seeing this change / am I late to the game?" 

I do not use AirTable but am in charge of the billing. A team member added 3 people to edit a document and their permission level is EDITOR. How can they edit the document without being charged?Can someone explain how can I make this unpaid and they have access to the document. I've been trying to chat to a person for the last week.

My Airtable is a simple deposit of client data most of which is there for storage purposes such as address and only some details I will use all the time such as phone number. I am an accountant and I could group blocks of fields into sections like PHONES, ADDRESS, TAX, PAYROLL, ACCOUNTS (AND OTHERS) and I guess there might be 100 fields or columns but I only ever want to see 10. The ADRESS section will have 5 fields for 5 lines of the address and the TAX section will have about 20 fields for all the tax reference numbers. How can I “GROUP” sections of fields such as ADDRESS or TAX and HIDE or UNHIDE them whenever I want to. Also would this GROUP hide / unhide function be available in both the grid and expanded record view.

Hi All,I use Airtable on my iPhone, Mac.I have photo attachment on a record 360. I can see the photo attachments in full, on the Mac, but I cannot see the photos in the same record, on the iPhone.I can only see the thumbnails.Also, I can still see the photo attachments on record 1-359 on my iPhone. However, cannot see photo attachments from record 360 upwards. Again, only thumbnails. 

Hi there,I'm trying to script something but it's been ages since I used Javascript and I'm getting myself tied up.I have a list of rehearsal  dates,  and next to each date I have a linked record showing the actors required for that day's scene, and a linked record showing the actors unavailable for that day. I would like to script something that checks if any item of the array in "Actors Unavailable" for each record (rehearsal) matches any of the people in the "Actors Required" field. If so, we have a conflict and I need to change something. Hi. I'm wondering whether there's a way to search a table or interface using text that's passed through in the URL itself. Like this: https://www.google.com/search?q=test which searches Google for "test." I think no because the search uses Javascript, but maybe there's a way that I'm overlooking. Bonus question: What's your preferred method for quickly getting to a table or interface and drilling to a specific record quickly? Thanks,David  

I have created a new form and set email triggers based on a form condition. Each trigger sends to to 3 google groups. I tested quite a bit and all seemed well until I just learned that not everyone in the groups are receiving an email when a form is submitted. We uses the groups regularly so I know the problem is not with google. Is there any reason some recipients in a group, including myself, would not be getting a notification when a form is submitted?

I'm trying to use the datetime_diff formula to configure a field similar to the ootb duration field in Smartsheet, but in Airtable.I have a start-date and and end-date field. My goal is to have a duration field show the number of days between the start and the end dates.Here are my constraints. 1) I want to be able to show only weekdays. 2) If the start date and the end date are the same I want the duration to equal 1, not 0.Any suggestions?

Hi all !I've a concatenation formula wich works fine with all number but the 7%...That's crazy.... When I put 7% somewhere my formula return 7.0000000000001%... My fields are all in percent (precision 1%) but the concatenation field is in text format.There's nothing in my formula about the number 7 or else that could launch this error...Any idea ? >Thanks !

Hello, I am trying to calculate night working hours for my employees and I can't figure out the right script. Each day, each employee registers its time hours in a table through 4 fields : (Shift1-Start) ; (Shift1-End) ;  (Shift2-Start) ; (Shift 2-End) With those fields, I am able to calculate duration of work each day, and through a pivot table, I am able to calculate the sum of those hours, compared to the "theorical" hours of each week of the year, hence calculate the real OT. Most of my employees start at 6:00, but some times some of them start a little bit earlier. And sometime they have night work starting at 10 pm and ending the day after at 4 am. In this case, we register 10 pm to midnight on Day 1 and the then midnight to 4 am on Day 2.What I want to calculate now, is the hours worked at night, that means those who are worked between 9 pm and 6 am. Would you have any script in mind?
