Hi All, I have a base and there I have information about customers.Each customer has associated different tables with information like contacts, references/products, payments, invoices, order history, samples, etc.I want to know if  I can make a dashboard (with interfaces) that integrates the information of all the tables related to a customer, and I can see everything mentioned in a single view panel.Thanks, J

I have a base that tracks when a staff member turns in a survey for a free sample product they were given. They should not get new samples without turning in the original surveys. Tables include:StaffSamplesSurveysThis might seem silly, but I'm struggling to automate when a user completes a survey how to track that they are again eligible for new samples. For what it's worth, A staff member may have several samples in their queue, which is OK, but we'd like to reconcile at least once a month. Open to approaching this in new ways. 

This is for exports from a donor database. I have two columns Credit & Debit. Credit is for the donation amount and Debit is for the CC processing fee amount. Debit is a calculated column based on a formula. Each "Donation" (Record) has both credit and debits but I would like to have a separate record for each of them.I.e. 1 Record for John has his donation amount as well as the other misc. columns and 1 Record for his CC fee.I only know the term in PowerBi of unpivoting columns to achieve this. Is there a way to do this in Airtable?

Hey guys, super new to airtable and JS, still trying to figure out how i can embed my script in this first post of mine.I wrote a script that finds the largest number in a field, increments it by one and does some other formatting stuff (add a 'Q-' +(last two digits of the current year)+(current quote #))) then puts it in that same field for the record that triggered the automation. It sorts all records in Ref Max No(formula field to extrapolate a number from our quotes. The formula is as follows:IF({Ref No}, VALUE(RIGHT({Ref No}, 3)), 0)  e.g. Q-23089 turns into 89For some reason it keeps finding the largest number as 572 even though th

I have created a form view where users can input certain data points. These data points are then used in my Airtable base to calculate an output (based on a formula field). What I would like to do is to display this output (result of the calculation) to users, after they submit their input through the form. Can somebody recommend a way to do this? I have explored some of the apps and automations, but I cannot really find any way to achieve this.

I am trying to build an automation or formula for this scenario:Student #1 has been enrolled in school from the dates 7/1/2018-6/30/2023. I have a field in this table (Students table) for Enrollment date (7/1/2018) and graduation date (6/30/2023). I need the field " School Years" to populate with the respective school years this student was in school for. Ex: SY 2018-2019, 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023 - this is a multiselect field. This will be unique for every student, as their enrollment and graduation dates are varying...I have build a table named School Years and have the start and end date for each school year as a record. I would love this to be automated so that every time we have a new student and their graduation date changes, it will update what school years they were here for.This seemed so easy to do in my head and I have tried every way to get this to work, but I cannot see

Hey all - I'm running a formula column with a lot of IFs in there. Only 1 out of the 6 possible responses returns a text field, the rest are date fields.The dates come out in a very ugly way, this is how it looks: 2023-07-12T23:06:37.000ZIt basically makes it impossible for me to use / property view.After some playing around with it, I've understood that the issue here is with the fact that one of the values returned is a text field.However, the way I have the formula and the intended use. Unfortunately, I can't do anything else but have a text in one of the IF's (since it's the if true, not false, that I could just leave empty).I've tried using the time parse formula like this: DATETIME_PARSE(the if formula), but the result is an error.How do I make this work?

Hi guys!Im trying to create an automation that changes a single select field from one option to another. I have a record of a tour which has a start date. I would like to change the field of "Week" to "Last Week" if the start date is before today but not before 1 week ago. It is my understanding that I first have to 'Find Records' before, and then use those records in the Record ID field of the configuration, but it still isnt working! Can anyone help me understand what the issue is? Thank you

I am trying to create a reasonably simple base that stores HR statistics such as monthly, quarterly, and yearly numbers and trends.    For example, I would like to store the number of employees by location, office, DOL status, etc., and then formulate the change in numbers each month, quarter, and year.   What is the best way to set this up?  I tried a base where I added two years of data in one table, but I couldn't manipulate the data to get the statistics I wanted.   Any suggestions are appreciated!  I looked through Airtable's templates but couldn't find what I wanted.

I want to create a script that will automatically open links inside of a specified field, search for an element inside of the links ex. another url, and perform an action based on the existence of the element or lack thereof. I want the script to be activated every time that field has another link added to it as I have an automation continuously adding more data to the table and I want the script to keep up. Hello, I currently have two separate Airtable accounts that I would like to keep separate. However, when I logged into account #1 today, I noticed that I could see the base from Account #2.Could someone kindly explain why this occurred and provide guidance on how I can avoid this situation in the future? I’m new to the airtable community and wasnt sure how to reply to an original post that has been closed. But I found a solution to this #ERROR! when using ENCODE_URL_COMPONENT() on lookup? post. You can use ENCODE_URL_COMPONENT({lookupFieldThatYouAreTryingToEncode}&""). This adding (&"") solution is a lot neater than adding another already encoded field to the parent table.

The Airtable product team track record continues to baffle...I suddenly got the new record details layout experience, and although a bit surprised after having no mention of it in the What's New July 2023 edition that went out barely a week earlier, I was initially excited. The redesign is clearly inline with the record detail view on mobile devices (hinting at mobile interfaces coming soon??)...That is until I realized that it completely broke the ability to change edit permissions on linked record fields where the records are one-way synced from another base. As in, if you had fields that were set to editable before this update, they are stuck on being editable, and if you have non-editable ones or try to add new ones, they are stuck on being non-editable.If you hover over the "Allow users to link/unlink existing records" switch you see this message: "Users can't link/unlink existing records because this table is synced from

I would like to build a mobile app that tracks user's habits and stores the data in AirTable account of the user.I want to use react-native framework because I want the app to be able to store the data in different services (eg. google sheets). At the moment it isn't clear to me if the AirTable API policies will allow me to insert records into user's tables? My initial tests came accross Cross-Origin Resource Sharing issues. Can somebody enlighten me if what I am after is in principle possible?Thank you.

Hello, we are new to AirTable and currently using it for our CRM. This question is to see if we could ALSO use it for individual case management for our sober living home. Obviously, this would include the ability to take notes, classify information, restrict users, transfer of data to courts, etc. Does anyone out in AirTable land use AirTable in this capacity?? Hi all, I’m trying to use Airtable to develop a case management system for a case manager for older adults. I want the case manager facing side to be as simple as possible, while also gathering robust data I can access for reporting to our funder. Here’s where I’m getting hung up: I can’t figure out how to do a 2 tier intake. If someone calls in and only needs referral, we will only collect basic info. If they need case management, we will collect that basic info plus more robust information. I’d like these both to be on the same form since I want to reduce paper intake as much as possible, and we may not know whether they are referral or case management right away, but I’m not seeing a way to do conditional questions that would allow this type of intake. Secondly, when we are doing case management, I’d like to have something where the case manager can open that individual’s “case” with their profile created from the intake, and add case notes at various

I'm just gonna lead with this... I HATE AIRTABLE... and I mean I HAAAAAAATE AIRTABLE. I'm forced to use it but I can't stand it. It is THE most clunky P.O.S. website I have ever seen and of course this point is driven home on a daily basis. I'm trying to delete an interface or unpublish it, but for some unknown reason, I cannot seem to find the interface menu to let you do this anyway. I searched the forums and the documentation for these elusive "3-dots" I'm suppose to see next to the interface name, but I don't see them.Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, so I can get pass this and not have to deal with this crappy website for another month.

I have several hundred Jotforms integrated into Airtable. Based on AirTable's announcement about eliminating the API key and changing to two other methods, I contacted JotForms and was informed that they ONLY support the API key.As of August first, I won't be able to create new Jotform integrations and as of Next February, all of my existing ones will stop functioning.Does anyone have a workaround? it can't be a manual solution like copying and pasting because I use it to create real-time leaderboards from the results of the Jotform answers so the results have to get into AirTable instantly.Thansk for any help!
