Hi,I have an automation that is triggered when a record is created in Table X, and it then creates a new record in Table Y. This automation has been working well, but recently, I've noticed some failures in the Run History.It's not happening with all cases—only some. The trigger and all other actions work fine; the only issue is with the creation of the new record. The error shown is: “Creating the record failed due to insufficient permissions.”However, when I take the same record that triggered the automation and run a manual test using it, everything works perfectly and the record is created successfully.This is quite confusing—I don’t understand why some records fail while others don’t, and why it works without issues during manual test runs.Could you please help me troubleshoot this?

I’m trying to display metrics on claims details on a line or bar chart.  I would like to be able to insert a “goal” line so we can see easily if we are above or below our goal.   Is there a way to do this, or is there anything in the works that could accommodate this request?

Hi I would like to automatically open an input form based on a user input.I have a visitor request form(s),  First I would like to ask the user to identify the visit type (Form 1), based on a selection of a single drop down.  After the submit Form1 I would like to determine which Form to open next for more details based on their selection.  How can I accomplish this?

Hi all, I want to do some fairly complex actions when my users create a new record, and in certain circumstances block them from creating it.Here is the logic that I want to run when I create a new record: If FieldA is not null Look for a record with matching FieldA If such a record is found, do not add this record, stop 🛑 Else: If FieldB is null Fetch BValue from external source with a script that takes FieldA as input If FieldB is now not null: Look for an already existing record with a FieldB value that matches what I found If such a record is found, do not add this record, stop 🛑 Else, update this record with the new FieldB value The first issue is that I have nesting “IF”s here. I’m missing which field/value is used with two tables are linked. Can someone point me in the right direction? In particular,  I have a master business directory table and I want use automation to push in the linking value to the separate Department table. I would have thought that they are linked on the record id, but when I try to push the Department record ID into the master table, it’s not recognized. It seems to want the department name, which is not always unique. Is there a place to see the linking values between tables?

according to the What's New page found at https://www.airtable.com/whatsnew , it says that Interface Charts now support Multiseries and dual y-axis charts and it includes pictures.I don't see these anywhere in the Interface Charts interfaces?  Where are these charts and how do you access them to add to an interface?Much appreciated!

Hello, I am using FILLOUT forms in integration with Airtable.I saw something strange, that if I define a filter on records in my database, then in FILLOUT, I can only select the records that are displayed in the database, even though they are in the table, they are just not displayed because of the filter.Does anyone know if there is any way to solve this problem?

I created a hyperlink in a long text type field, with rich text formatting enabled in gallery view. Works good. But when folks click on the link, the whole card opens. Is there a way, in a long text field with hyperlink, to go directly to the linked URL and not open the card.

HelpI have a formula adding 17 days from a date in another column. It is adding the time. How do I eliminate the time?ALSO, is there possible logic to add to move the date forward if it falls on a weekend?Thank you for any help provided! 

I have a Teams level workspace with the following solution : Services Rendered Businesses Staff Monthly Reports YTD ReportsThe monthly & YTD reports are essentially acting as join tables for generating rollups, counts, and other formula fields to create up-to-date Month & YTD reports each time a new Service Rendered is submitted. In order for this to work smoothly for month reports, I set up an automation to relate the services rendered and businesses they were rendered to directly to the report itself each time a new SR was submitted. In order to add the new SR & Business without overwriting the others, I had to lookup and re-insert ALL the businesses and services each time. Not a big deal for one month’s work. Hi all!I publish lots of blog posts about a variety of topics and I have huge comma-separated lists of keywords for each blog post that get fed into a search mechanism for readers to be able to find content that resonates with them.I’m wondering if there’s a way to track all those keywords so that I can see, for example, how many blog posts share the keyword of “tree”? I definitely don’t want to have to select from a multi-list each time I’m entering 50 keywords per blog post, so if I have to just paste the list into a field each time, that’s fine, but it would be nice to be able to have them pointing to a complete list where I can then see how many blog posts we have per each keyword.Thanks in advance!

Hello!We have a dashboard interface that we share with our clients. While we filter the elements of the dashboard to show records only where an email field in the record is the same as the login email of the Airtable account, anyone can still see a full list of who has access to the dashboard and their Airtable email addresses. This has been brought up as a concern as various countries would see that as a possible privacy infringement since contact information is shared. Is there a way to hide this information to others that also have visibility of a public shared link (be it to a base, or interface)?  

Hi,I’m trying to create a field that tells you when the next due date of your credit card payments are, based on what their monthly due date is (e.g. 5th of every month) and today’s date. I know I’m creating a string that looks like a date and not a date itself, which isn’t a problem for me.My issue is that the comparison I’m using to check if the Payment Due Date is before today, a simple comparison of values really, is returning one wrong result! I created extra formula fields to see where things went wrong, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what the issue is! Basically, when I compare the number in Today against the Payment Due Date, with this formula: IF(DATETIME_FORMAT(TODAY(), "DD") > {Payment Due Date}, "yes", "no")  I get an incorrect result (Payment Due Date 5 returns “no” when it should be “yes,” because 22>5). I don’t get it. Does anyone know what’s going on? Thanks a lot! 

Dear all, I do have a base with several tables in it of which HCO’s and HCP’s are two.  HCO’s are Hospitals where HCP’s (doctors) are employed.  I would like to be able to select and/or display hospitals based on whether or not certain HCP’s are available in a hospital (e.g. : display hospitals which do employ orthopaedic surgeons but do not have ophthalmologists available.Tried Airtable support, which came up with scripting.  Please feel challenged to propose  a non (or very, very, low) code solution for this! Thanks so much,MichielThe Netherlands

Hello all, I searched a lot about my problem, I found half answer only …. It’s a common problem I found several times on this forum but no real solution (I think) I have 2 tables.The table 1 create a line in the table 2 with automation. They have the same name project, no problem for that. I have several lines which are different projects.then on the table 2 I update a cell to “ok” on a random project and I need that a cell in table 1 automaticaly switch to “ok”. on the same project line.My problem is that the “ok” from the table 2 update the first line only of the table 1 😓 How can I manage to update for exemple the project 3 cell to “ok” from table 2 to table 1 ? thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone! I have an automation that is set to find records in a certain view and send them an email. I know when in testing Airtable will only show the first 10 records, but it is also completing the automation for the first 10 records as well and right now that view has about 18 records in it. Any advice on whats going on with it? 

Yeah, we can turn a single-select status-like field into kanban view workflows for teams. Got it.But how to add more info for each of these kanban workflow steps? To document the workflow, to give team member easy access to "what should I do at this step?" Links to related assets, templates, full docs, Loom videos etc?Yeah, you can do a 2 table approach, where you have a more robust "Steps" table instead of a single-select "status" type field. But then you lose the ability to have a "steps as kanban columns" view.How do you all build card-moving kanban views that also act as helpful process deocumentation for each of those steps?thanks!

Hi!I used to embed a regular gallery view in my WordPress web site but I did not like how the title of each card (primary field) where always cut off. I tried creating an interface design of the same gallery, embed it, and I really liked the result. Titles were visualized in its complete form and the whole thing looked better and cleaner.The thing is that for some reason, the mobile version of the embed gallery interface came out grayed with a message saying "viewport too small to display the gallery element". I checked out the embed code and it was basically the same for both for the regular gallery view and the gallery interface. Nontheless, the regular gallery view showed in the mobile version of the website and the gallery interface not. If anyone has an idea or suggestion on what is causing this and how to solve it I'd appreaciate it.  The iFrame code:<iframe class="airtable-embed" src="https://airtable.com/embed/appPRfMipHQg

Not sure if this is possible as I just started using Airtable. I created a formula for contracts based on Start Dates and Contract Term that will give me an Automatic Original End Date. Then I have another Field for Bonus weeks which will give me a “Final End Date” I am looking for a way to make the Final End Date field a Date/Time instead of a Formula field so that I can sort and group a certain way from a Date. Is this possible?

What is the best way to show subtasks in the timeline view?I use Airtable to manage projects. Currently they don’t show any kind of relationship and often end up moving across the page because of the default time sort. Ideally they’d group together from the parent. All of the tasks are in one table, labelled either task or subtask, and the subtasks are in a connected to the parent in a linked field.

I have a single select field in an interface that allows users to enter new values if what they need isn’t already on the list.  This will grow over time and it would be a lot more useful if it was in alphabetical order, but I don’t want to have to go into the field properties every day and click the alphabetize button.  Is there any way to automate this?

Hey guys,I have someone on my team getting a weird issue when trying to open a record detail in an interface. It's a timeline view interface where users can click into the record to view fields including a linked field to the project that when click opens a record detail of the whole project. The issue we are having is that when a person tries to open the project record detail they get the error "This record was hidden. The record might have been edited or your access might have changed."   They have full editor permission on the interface page and I can't find any other filters on the record detail page that might be causing this issue. I am also unable to replicate this bug on my end even when viewing as the user. Has anyone run into this bug before? Does anyone know why my user is unable to open the proj
