Hi there,Is there a way for us to use a custom script to trigger the Data Extraction extension? I understand we could utilise .csv export, but this doesn't enable to only export specific information, but the whole table.Many thanks,Thomas

Hi everyone,I've been struggling with counting all records from table A in table, B. I've read multiple forum posts and watched videos, but something is still not working ... so I've come here to ask for any insights. My understanding is that  I need to put all records from Table A into a single linked field in Table B, and then use a Count field to count them.  So I set this up, like in the imageThen, I went to Automations and set up two steps: Step one: look for any records and table that are not empty. (Table A is called "Entries" in my base)Step Two: Add an "update record" where the "Table" is the Table B ("Metrics" for me), Record ID is of where I want all the linked records to show, and under "Fields" I added the linked field, and said to show a "List of Records"...This gives "received invalid inputs"... Ive tried all the variations of this I can think of, which all result in this error.... Can anyone advise me on the solution?  Also, I just wan

I'm managing 5 websites, and have created one base with 5 tables - each reflecting the blog planning for one website (syncing with the website-specific bases). I've now created a table that collects all the posts from all the websites, so I can see where everything is at in a blink of an eye. What I can't wrap my head around is the dates: I now have 5 date fields (lookups), but I'd like to be able to sort things by date (or display them in a calendar, etc) - regardless of which website it's for. I created a formula field to merge the dates, but that displays them as "2015-01-01T00:00:00.000Z"... I know there's a DATESTR([date]) formula, but that gets me an error message (am I using it wrong?). Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

I have an Hours table that records for each member (identified by email address) the number of hours they participate in an organization event.  The table consists of email address, event category, #hours, date, and two optional fields, event name and event id.  When members go to input their hours, they typically have more than one activity to report.  I want to create a form such that the member inputs their email address only once and then can input multiple instances of {event category, hours, date}.   I saw one possible solution that added another table linked to the hours table and allowing multiple records, but I'd prefer to not have to create another table for just this purpose.  Any help, guidance, direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,I'm currently creating an interface for my team where we can effectively manage what sprint, client, goals and tasks we are working on. I want to be able to select a sprint from a filter, as a result filter for clients that are linked to this sprint and then as a result filter for goals that are linked to the selected client and sprint. This will then display the task on a kanban view that I stack by status.I have a base with a tasks table, goals table, clients table and sprints table. In the task tables you can link the goals and this will then show the lookup for the client and sprint that goal is assigned to. Any help would be much appreciated. Hello, I'm having an issue with getting anything back when sending a post request.Using Voiceflow to integrate into airtable.comThe objective is for a patient/customer to be able to change their email and have the bot do it for them if the bot recognized that their email was different but first name, last name, number, etc were the same.There is no error, I'm getting a 200 back but the response is [] or emptyThe fields are filled out and I checked capitalizationScreenshots are below, any help would be appreciated.I checked the base ID and table for the API call and its correctI've tried just using a filterbyformula in a get request and it does the same thing and returns a ok 200 and empty response. 

I need to enter a record with additional spaces in a text string of a column (single line text) . Whenever I add the text string ‘a b’, the system sets the text string to ‘a b’. How can I prevent that spaces are being removed. Thanks Jan

Hi,I have one column in my Jobs Table that pulls the Job address from my Table of Customers, its a Formula and seems to work fine it puts the correct Job address into the Jobs Table if the customer has a different Mailing address, it looks like this: IF({(J) Address?} ="Yes", {Mailing address (from Customers)}, {(J) Street} & " " & {(J) City,St,Zip})I have a second column in the Jobs Table that I need to JUST have the City Name appear in.  I have tried to write the formula, and it just returns an Error Message, it looks like this: IF({(J) Address?}="Yes", LEFT({(M) City, St. Zip (from Customer)}, SEARCH(",", {(M) City, St. Zip (from Customer)})), LEFT({(J) City,St,Zip}, SEARCH(",", {(J) City,St,Zip}))) Is there a better way to pull the City out of the Job Address Column?I feel like I'm beating my

Hi Airtable Community....I'm new to Airtable so please bare with me.I have a Softr application, in demo state - Where a user (logging in on their backend portal) can log in and upload some content...I also have a form that is public facing for clients to fill out...I am okay with the user table capturing the user's: name, password, email, magiclink, attachments.I also okay with the client table capturing the client's: first name, last name, phone, email, organization.I want to preface - that I want to use these two tables for multiple users who will have their own custom built application as well as anyone who fills out the form specific on the user's application...Here is the issue/problem:1. How do I link a client who fills out the form for a specific user and then automatically get the attachments (via airtable email automation)?2. Can I use the same two tables for multiple users? Say I have 100 unique users - I don't want to waste 200 tables, where the user table will only have one

Hi Airtable Community...I have a table called 'Request-Table that is linked to a user table called 'User-Table'...In Request-Table, when a new entry is added (i.e Requestor-Name, Requestor-EmaiI) it pulls specific User information (fields) for that User from the User-Table (e.g. Name, E-mail, and Attachment fields)I want to send the attachment the Request-Table pulls in from User-Table TO the Requestor-Email...My question is - How do I add the attachment or attachments the automated email? Good afternoon (UK). I’ve just signed up for a year of Pro. I am surveyor dealing with commercial property and much of work overlaps with that of a lawyer. I’m not new to database design, having been using Filemaker for years (but only in flat form, not relational). Currently I use Clio (law practice but I’m finding it slows me up) and a combination of Devonthink Pro 3 and Scrivener for my law library. I am planning on using AirTable for my law library and for task management (client contacts, etc, property info, etc. I have added a couple of templates to get a rough idea. I have 2 questions. Would it be better to have a separate base for my law library or does it matter if one base contains dozens of tables? Where a field is for a person’s name, is it better to have two fields, one for first name, the other for surname, or one field only. tia

Hello, We are integrating Airtable with other systems and using Record Id as the key to link the records and avoid duplication. Today we faced that the record ids are changed for all records from a airtable sheet which made sync failed. Anyone know the root case of it ? (Is something to do with the outrage airtabel had yesterday (10th March, 2021)? Also if someone can help us what are the diff-diff scenarios when the ids can be changed ? any thoughts? I've tried a few things, but fear it's just not possible ...I have a record template that takes a date input on the record, and creates child tasks in a wor-kback schedule from that date, but I can currently only apply it from the base, by right clicking on the task - A little modal window pops up and asks for the date to be input. Great stuffI have an interface where i'd like to be able to trigger this template from, but it currently throws an error if the date field is empty, as opposed to popping up the friendly date input window ... Thoughts? Annoyingly you can't trigger automations / templates from buttons displayed in lists from the 'Button' field, but you can run scripts.  The Button I've made has had to be layered in the 'record' view by clicking into it which is just another click

I have created a database, in it a column Attachments to which I upload a PDF file with annotations. If I view the pdf in windows or ipad, the annotation is visible. But on android it is not. In windows there is an option to show and hide the annotations, but neither in ipad nor in android I don't see this option. Is there an option to enable this display on Android?

My son has just had major surgery and is now home to recover after a very close call and 2 weeks in hospital. He is on a heavy medication regime and I need to do blood pressure, oxygen levels and heart rate recordings. Wondering where to start with a base where I can just go to one section to fill in what I do at any one time. Such as7.30am, Med 1 + Med 3 + Oxygen level1.30pm, Med 2 + Med 4 + Blood Pressure readingAnd then have it all show up for easy access for the doctors. I have tried a few options but keep getting a little lost, I am not new to airtable, and use it for many things, but my current state is just making it hard for me to think where to start. 

Hi everyone (reposting to correct category)I've created seemingly simple Zapier automations (zap) to bring subscription data into Airtable by creating/updating records in a Base table. While Zapier indicates success sending data to Airtable, no data shows up in Airtable base and table. I've been troubleshooting without success, so seeks suggestions here. Any thoughts are welcome!Zapier is connected to Airtable. I know this because I have another zap that works well with no issues to send the same source data to a different Airtable table in the same base. Also, I've confirmed that Zapier is "on" as a third-party app in Airtable Integrations.I have paid subscriptions to both platforms. I am using a base as a template to create future project bases. The base template contains a table where multiple fields are synced from a master database. One of the fields synced from the source {Proj 1 Task Status} is unique to each project. {Proj 1 Task Status} is linked to numerous formulas, automations and interfaces.When I duplicate the base to setup for a new project, I need to change the {Proj 1 Task Status} synced field to {Proj 2 Task Status}.Simply deleting the field and adding another synced field means I will need to fix every single broken formula, interface and automation, replacing {Proj 1 Task Status} with {Proj 2 Task Status}.Is there a way to remap {Proj 1 Task Status} to another field in my sync source?

I have the following challenge in airtable:I have 3 bases and tables:Catalog: Products, Categories, GroupsInventory: Products (synced with the products table from Catalog), purchase orders, purchase order itemsOrders: Sales Orders, Sales Orders Items, Products (synced with the products table from Catalog)In inventory, In the table "Products" I'm calculating the available inventory based on the Purchase Order Items quantities in a column called "Available QTY", but my issue is: how can I add a column called "Sold QTY" which sums the product quantities from the table "Sales Order Items" from the base "Orders"?When I sync the sales order items into Inventory, the issue is that makes me sync also the Products table from Orders base. So I end up syncing 2 times the products table in the inventory base and the rollup doesn't work because each table is referencing different synced "Product" tables

Hello! We recently built an Airtable base to use as a Project Management system to track milestones and tasks. We primarily work out of interfaces, and rarely go into the actual data tables at all. When someone @mentions another user in the comments section on the interface side, the email we all receive links to the data side. Is there a way to adjust the links we get in the emails so that it takes us to the interface side instead? Also, can these emails be further customized to give more information as to which deliverable/milestone/tasks it's coming from?Thank you in advance!

I am trying to create a google App Script, which contains columns mapping to an Airtable table. I would like to sync one-way from the Google Sheet, into Airtable.  The first column is the primary key, and is used to match. If the record exists in Airtable, it will update.
