I have a schedule I am using Airtable for. Each Day of the Week and Associated time has an ID (ex. All Mondays at 4 = 1)I have the ability for people to fill out a form and request a timeslot, but they may want the timeslot for the entirety of the season which I allow them to request. I have an automation that looks at the form request, sees that they are requesting all season and gets the ID and then finds all the other timeslots for the following weeks with that ID. I would then like to update each of those records with the person requesting so it is removed from the list and on the main calendar as booked. Any ideas on how to do this? Also made me think of an amazing feature that would be the ability to dynamically update a Views based on something automated Filter so you can then set automation of anything entering that view.

Hi thereI want to know if the following scenario is possible:Use an automation script to Find > 100 records, andOutput a list of the found records, andUse the new 'Repeating Group' logic to update each record from the above list.Basically, I need to find more than 100 records based on a condition ("is single select field option A selected?") and then make updates to the found records.If this is possible, am I on the right track using output.set?

Hello everyone 🙂I work for a school and some workshops are made in groups of students.For instance, I need the 6 people from the Thursday, 11am slot to receive the same e-mail, visible e-mails in the "To:" field, and to Cc their trainer.Is there a way to select the e-mail addresses from the group meeting these criterias (day, hour) and send the same e-mail to all of them instead of sending individual e-mails?My idea is to do a concatenate formula to blend all addresses, but I'm not sure how to do it, and I'm afraid it would send multiple times the same e-mail...🤯Thanks a ton for your help!

Hi All,I am currently working through learning the Automations section of AT and it's really cool so far.However when I've come to 'connect' to my Twitter account then it fails or . . . something, not sure exactly what.Here is the dialog that finally returns after I have selected 'Connect New Twitter Account'It appears to be working ok, it goes in and I can see Twitter in the background albeit greyed out, then it comes back to this screen.And of course I press 'Sign In' (several times) and it just returns to this same page.I have tried closing it all starting again, logging into Twitter in advance, not logging in..... none of it seems to have any success...Any tips, solutions or just plain good old advice appreciated.Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my question 🙂  

I have an automation that emails the count of records that match certain criteria. This often results in emails that indicate there are 0 records for consideration. I’d like to only fire this automation (or send the email) if there matched records are >0. Is this possible using the new conditional automations, or via scripting? Thanks, Andy.

Seems like it should be relatively simple, all I want to do is use a button from an interface to add 1 to a number field in my tableI'm using the button linked to an automation and here's what it looks like:And this is using a dynamic update:But here's what happens when I test this:So I guess it's the wrong format, and I can't find any documentation on formatting for this. I have 100 records in a table with the same status "ready for publication". How can I use the "Find records" action to only retrieve the first found record?

I may be having a particularly dense day here, however am not understanding how to automate the following situation:I have four workflow records for each project in a table. There are multiple projects in the table. The workflow records are, in order "project name" Define, "project name" Design, "Project Name" Build and "Project Name" Test.  Each has a status of "Not Started", "In Progress" or "Done".  What I want to do is, based on the trigger of the status changing from "In Progress" to "Done" in one task, set the status in the subsequent task to "In Progress".  I can select the trigger record without a problem, but how can I move to the next record in the sequence?

Hello,I am relatively new to Airtable and had a question about Automations. I set up a research table that I want to add records with Name field and URL field. I want the name field to auto-populate the link's page title when I paste the URL in whenever I create or update a record. Any idea how this can be done? 

Hi Folks, I’m having a problem with an automation that I built. Initially it worked but now it doesn’t. Essentially what I’m trying to do is this: the trigger is a new record creation in 'Table C" Then we work to update a field in “Table B” using the linked id of a lookup field from 'Table C". Then in the field area I simply try to create a simple subtraction formula: Current balance - amount But I keep getting this error! (screenshot attached) Any idea what could be happening?

This new Airtable Community Forum SUCKS so much and I cannot type it without harassing the keyboard caps key at the same time. Why on earth did Airtable switch from the old community board. If it ain't broken don't fix it. This is difficult to you, boxy, hard to find things. Is it only me having the incident notification window on the left and doesn't go away, it stays stubbornly there even after try to close. I have an automation where an email is triggered when a new record is added. However, the emails are generic and only says: "A new item has been created in the XXX job log"How can I get this email to say what the exact record title is? When automations fail, they currently only send a notification to a single user - the person who turned the automation on or updated it last. Hi, I am new to Airtable and have a question. I have two tables, each with the same column (multiple select) for "Technology". Specifically, it is about funding programmes and investment measures. In the table of investment measures I would like to have all funding programmes displayed in one column, which have one of the same technology tags. (e.g. a funding programme has the tags "digitalisation" and "business financing", and the measure (online shop) also has "digitalisation" as a tag, so the funding programme should be displayed there in the column).Can it be done via an IF function or something else?

I have an Expense Reimbursement Form I use in Airtable. It collects things like date of purchase, dollar amount, person to be reimbursed, and an Attachment field for Receipt images. It then sends the form data to me automatically via email, but the email doesn't include Receipt Images (attachments) in the body of the email.Is there a way I can have the Form Response email include attached images (receipts) in the body of the email? Each form could have 1 or more attached images.That would be very helpful because it would give me a complete Expense Reimbursement request, or equivalent Check Request form. Thanks in advance. -M

How can I trigger a webhook (to trigger Make) when somebody uploads a new attachment to an attachment field?I can run a script to send the record ID to the webhook and then get the record data, but this would also include attachments that have been previously uploaded as well. I just want the latest attachment that has been uploaded.

Hello!I have an Airtable base that, weekly, has a script run that adds roughly 300-500 records. Airtable Automations then assigns a specific value to a record based on criteria. IF a record gets a checkmark based on the automation, it becomes visible within a specific view. Weekly this view is then downloaded and emailed to a few stakeholders.  I'm curious, does anyone know of a way to have a button that triggers an automation that will automatically download the CSV? Even better if it will send said CSV to those stakeholders.

Now, I want to know how many appointments we actually created per day. Another words, how many new records created for a certain day. Do you think it is possible to create this automation and if yes, what are your thoughts about it.I was thinking of creating another new table where all the data would be collected, lets say the name for this new table is "Counter" where we have first field "Date" and then next field is the field for the actual number of new records for each given day.I have no idea how to calculate new records and input this date in some field.Any thoughts?

Hi everyone !I wanted to capitalize the first letter of every word in my "Address" field, but the automation for that doesn't seem to be working : I used the exact same automation with Modify > Uppercase and it worked perfectly, but Capitalize doesn't seem to do anything so far. Hi All,I tried to get feedback from ChatGPT but it steered me wrong. Lol. Long story short, I'm trying to create an automation whereby, when a checkbox in a given record's checkbox field is checked:A status field in the corresponding record is changed from "Upcoming" to "Initiated" (I assumed this was "Update Record"). Then, a pre-made form that I have created is automatically e-mailed to a recipient (whose e-mail is already rolled up/selected on another field) on the same record. Where I'm stumped is -- on the update record action, it keeps asking for a mandatory unique record ID, and I'd like this change to instead apply to any record for which a user checks a checkbox in the checkbox field, not just a single, identified record. Any thoughts? Am I doing this incorrectly?ChatGPT said Airtable has some kind of mapping feature that could help me, here, but I couldn't find it.
