Hi there! I am setting up a Gmail: Send email automation. Everything is working as expected. I want to add email addresses on the cc but I can’t seem to find how. See attached photo below to check how the setting looks on my end. Am I missing something? If there is a prior discussion on this, kindly link me to it, please. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a sheet that facilitates a document workflow between Creatives and Client. Creatives add draft copy to an attachment column, which triggers an automated notification to the Client to review it. If the Client has feedback, they put it into a 2nd attachment column (“Feedback”), which notifies the Creatives, who will add their revised draft to the 1st column, and so on. In addition to notifying the relevant party, the automation updates a Status column. What I’d like to do is prevent the Client from updating their attachment column while the Status indicates the ball is in the Creatives’ court; and vice versa. Can columns be disabled or permissions adjusted conditionally using the “Run a script” option in the automation? Any feedback on the best way to prevent one party from interrupting the other would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don’t this this is available for airtable but I am trying to send a email that has a calendar view through airtable. But the only options I see available are basically either a list or grid HTML file. I would assume airtable can’t actually send a email with the day’s events in calendar view.

I’m on the free plan and when setting up an automation to send an email I get this error message: “On your billing plan, you may only email collaborators with verified emails. Contact your workspace administrator to upgrade.” However, the email address I’m putting in is my Airtable username and it has been verified. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi, I’m looking for a solution for creating an automation that changes the status of a new record to “Denied” if a record already exists with the same requestor name but with status “Approved” in the last 30 days. Can someone help me if this is possible?

Hi, I’m trying to create an automation to send a notification to a collaborator at some point in a project. However, whichever automation I create (email, Slack message, comment on a column of my record), the collaborator is not recognised : I select the input from the collaborator field, and it returns an empty field. Does anyone know how to fix this ? Thanks a lot !

I have a single select field for “Schedule” with 3 options: Today Tomorrow Future I’d like to create an automation that runs at a speficied time (midnight) every day that will change any record that has “Tomrrow” in the Schedule single select field to “Today”. I’ve been trying to do a trigger of “At scheduled time” and can set it for midnight — that seems to work fine. But I can’t seem to come up with the action that will change any “Tomorrow” to “Today”. Am I missing something?

Record ID is not being detected by the automation tool. I need to change a status of a record when another record is created. But when I link them together it does not detect the ID and the error says the field is invalid. I have other automations done the same way. I am using “copy” tables so I don’t mess with my current data Flow wanted: The table that is going to be updated is “Control Modulos” When record is created in Cosecha → Change status of linked record to “Disponible” and then When record is created in Paso Modulo → Change status of linked record to “En operacion”

I have two tables: “Widgets”, “Sales”. A Sale record can reference one or more Widgets. When I create a new Sale record, I want the the “sold” field in the corresponding widget record(s) to be toggled. Sounds like this might be an Automation, but I’m new and not sure. Hi, I have a trigger when a record is updated. Then, I want to find record depending of a dynamic field from the trigger step. When I want to add the field, I can’t “insert” it. I can only insert the first one “airtable record ID”. All other field, there is a ‘continue’ button and nothing afterwards. Do you know why ?

I have to upload a file to Airtable. I don’t quite understand the documentation for file upload. I have this code that is in python that should upload a file to airtable via a link but it gives me a 422 error. How can I fix this? I’ve got a project management app that I need to sort updates, showing the most recent update at the top of field. I’m currently able to do this via a manual Batch Update but I would like to create a script that does this automatically. Hi guys, I am new here and I need some help regarding Grid-View and Calendar: I have two tables. Table 1 shows Projects which have been booked - every record contains ‘project name’ as a single line text field and ‘project date’ as a date field. Table 2 should show them so I am trying to sync both tables (they stay in one base). I tried to make an automization: sync date field of table one with date field in table two. This works fine. sync project name won’t work because I cannot automize a string with a date field. My question is: how can I sync project name + project date out of table 1 with table 2? I’m just needing a hand with the Automation Scripting Syntax - I can push it to Console.Log, but just struggling to pull/assign the input values to variables. I’m trying to get local time date stamping into fields, really struggling to get my head around the timezones, when I think I’ve got the problem solved, it’s not. So I figure that if I pull the time of when the script actually executes, surely that will reflect the correct date.

I created a formula column (B) so that it contains a different kind of checklist for each record, depending on the value in another column (A). For example, in column B, each record has either of these two checklists x y z or red blue green Because I want the checklists to appear in rich text format, so that I can easily select a checkbox, I duplicated the formula column (B) to create a new column (dupB) that is long text with rich text enabled. In order to add an automation (that I’ve tested in a dummy database), I’m required to test my automation in my live environment, but I’m VERY concerned I’ll send the test to a client. The automation sends an email to my clients matching the conditions. How can I test this safely while also adding the automation to my live environment?

Full names and emails Objective: When new records and emails are added to Table B and Table C, link and update the emails to Table A (and eventually more tables that require the exact same automation). Hi there, I want to update date field by adding some days to it with formula DATEADD when status changed on another field. New value for the field where I want to update like this: DATEADD({ValidDate}, {DaysToAdd}, ‘days’) But when I click to Run Test then always appears test failed message: Test failed: Received invalid inputs. I want to hit an API much like the currency conversion example. However, the example updates all the records in one go. Instead, I would like to fetch the API result for just the one record that was either created or updated. The record ID is available in the input, so that should work fine. But what about the table name? I happen to be partitioning this data into multiple tables (each with the exact same schema). The table ID or name doesn’t appear to be available from the trigger/input. And every example I’ve seen hard-codes the table name in the script. Since the automation is triggered on a record which exists within a table, I believe a reference to the table should be available, but I can’t seem to find it. Is there any way to get the name or ID of the table within which the record was created or updated?

Hi team, I am trying to get webhooks for receive notification on create, update or delete records in airtable table. But not able to get more information. I have below questions regarding webhooks. Are webhooks available in airtable on table operations(create data, update data, delete data etc) If webhooks are available then its free or not? Hello, I have an embedded database of products and each product has a button and form to ask for more details. It’s using and sends an email to a specific account manager and cc to the client. it works well but customers can ask about one product each time. How to select multiple products and ask for them? Each product might have a different account manager - email. How can i achieve that?
