Hi,I have a table that contains Tasks. These are assigned to User using the User/Collaborator field.I want to be able to create an automation that runs daily, finds all the tasks in a view (Follow-up today) and then send an email to each User that is found in this view with a list of all there tasks. I'm trying to think of the best way of doing this without different views for each user. I was thinking I need to find a unique list of users that are in that view and then have a repeating step  to find all tasks in that view associated to that user and then send them an email. I'm not sure how to find unique users that have tasks in that view as there will be multiple tasks for the same users.Any advise appreciated? Jason      

I would guess this question has been asked and answered before, but I can't find an answer.I have a table of contacts and a table of campaigns. I would like to be able to filter the contacts by whatever criteria, and then add a bulk cross reference to that filtered group in a row of the campaigns table, populating the 'Link to another record' field.For example, I have a group of individuals I would like to contact for an event mailing. I have a row in the campaigns table that has details of the event mailing (description, date, etc), and I want to keep a record of everyone who was contacted.If that makes sense as a requirement, is it a job for an automations?

I have an airtable base with two fields : name and website. Some of the orgs have website filled and some don't.  I want to do the following1. Check if the website column is empty.2. If no, nothing should be done.3. If yes, look for the name of the org in the 'Name' column               See if it matches with the name in an excelsheet/google sheet               Find the corresponding website from the excel               Update it back in airtable against the nameHow can I proceed with this? I read about API calls. Would the update to each record be considered as 1 API call? Is there a way to find records in bulk, match and then update records in bulk? I am okay to do this using Python script as well. However would like to first know if this is possible through airtable automation , automation using make or airtable

Hi all,I'm using the 'Find Records' automation to get a grid of records to email to other people. Though my table is sorted by date, the records are being returned in a completely random order (see attached, specifically the Overtime Worked Date column). Any thoughts on how to make the grid return information that's ordered chronologically instead?Thanks so much !!

Hi everyone, here is my situation: I'm working with KPIs and must record the people whose projects have been trained.  I'm using forms to collect the participant's data. So I have:Table 1 "People trained": the table where I have the forms and the data collected about people trained is stored.Table 2 "projects":  which is the one where I have the project data and want to update their KPIs when a form is summited. So my idea is to have in the table "projects" a count of people by the different KPIs registered in the table "people trained," for example, I'm looking to have in each project record the number of women that have been trained under the framework of that project. So, it means that every time a form is submitted, each project record needs to be updated.I already have linked table 2 with Table 1 by the projects field using the "Linked records" type, so when a person fills out the form, they can manually select the project

Hey everyone,I am slowly moving forward in my airtable scripting journey. What a ride so far. I would need some advice on best proceeding to finalize my script.Context:I created a script triggered from a button, to match client records with potential real estate properties, based on a set of preferences such as the number of bedrooms, the type of view, or some house features. The script does the following steps:- Fetch the criteria value from the record used for the automation (the client)- for each record in my property listings, it calculates a base score for each criterion (0 to 10)- It applies a weight point system to the criteria scores and outputs a Total property score (normalized from 0 to 10)- I then slice the top 10 properties and link the IDs to the client record under a specific linked field. Can't lie, as a no-code person, it took me a few days to get there.

Hi Everyone! For our base, we do a lot of emails out to external people (students, contractors, etc.) . We generally want them to reply to our emails and so we set up other automations to bump them if they do not fill out a form. One issue we have is that often times people will reply to our email but not fill out the form. We're not currently able to address that - and so have to manually record that they've replied in the base so that we don't bump them. Has anyone found a workaround to track "email replies" such that we don't keep bumping them? I know usually this is done by attaching some sort of cookie to an email or similar. I know this is possible in Hubspot sequences, but I haven't found a similar solution in Airtable. This would be a big win if we could have something like this!

Thanks in advance for the helpThis is my problem, and I know how basic it sounds but I haven't been able to get this done! I'm creating an automation and Im setting it up so when a record matches a condition (WPM (numbers column) is not empty AND is less (<) than 35) updates a record (Candidate stage (simple selection) to --> Rejected)But what it does is its sending all numbers (less, equal, higher) to Rejected except when WPM is empty (at least that worked) I've troubleshoot as a maniac and nothing seems to work out - Any idea?

I am confused. I set up an UPDATE RECORD AUTOMATION that seems to work in my 2 test tables, but it still creates error messages sent to me by Airtable.I have two tables to test this: The first one is CONTACTS MAIN with the following fields: This is the second table: CONTACTS AUTO with the following linked field and lookup fields. This is an alternate version of CONTACTS MAIN with EMAIL as the primary field, which I need for certain tasks. The second CONTACTS AUTO table links to the primary NAME field of CONTACTS MAIN and pulls in all the other information as lookup fields.I need to keep the two tables in sync. Hi there,I want to create a new field called "Original Start Date" and this will be populated from the "Start Date" field when someone enters in a new project.  Like a lot of projects the Start and End date moves a lot.  We want to reference back to when it was first originally entered in.Where do I start?  Do I create a new field in the "Projects" table called "Original Start Date" and then create an automation the populates this from the "Start Date"?I was referencing this article that mentions creating an automation.But I don't know the steps in connecting the two.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Hello,I am designing a base that needs URLs with markdown in this format:[text to display](https://my.url.com)However, when I try that... that's exactly what it looks like. I'm using long text fields with rich text enabled. I've tried a bunch of variants, including many I've seen in this forum, and it never shows display text -- always just the text exactly as entered. Whether or not the URL is interpreted as a URL is also an issue. It works sometimes, but no others. I'm using google Chrome for what it's worth. Is there an issue with my syntax?Regards,Scott

I've got an issue with my account, as Airtable is displaying that I reached my automation limit (50.000 / 50.000)Actually, I only have one active automation in my whole workspace, triggered by the creation of a record, and I only create approximatively a dozen record a day.I dont understand how my limit can be reached that quickly, and apparently this is the case every month, my automation limit is reached after 2 or 3 days.Have you already faced something like that ? I currently have the Pro Plan, and I don't know if this is the good place to reach someone that can fix my problem and more importantly explain to me why this is happening. Thanks you very much !

Hello, I am using Automations to keep my Base in sync with a Google Calendar. Specifically, I am importing Google Calendar events into AirTable. For one-off events, it works great! Creations, updates, and deletions get mirrored pretty well. However, when I create a recurring event in Google Calendar, only one row gets created in my base. My automation trigger is set for “when an event is created in Google Calendar” and the action is “create a new row”. If I create an event in Google Calendar that repeats every Monday for one month, I would like 4 rows to be created in AirTable Does anyone know if this is this possible with Automations? Is anyone else having problems with slack sending an actionable message? 😣everything was working fine until Monday. My regular slack message automation is working fine! I disconnected and reconnected the my slack account to airtable. I also ensured my Slack had the airtable app integrated. All I see is the following message but I do not see what the actual error is. The channel and slack account is correct. The trigger also works perfectly. SOS. 

Hi, My organisation is on the Team Plan with budget allowing for only one collaborator. We need to email read-only users and / or external emails (max 50 recipients per email) but I'm unable to find out so far if this is possible without being charged. I'm also struggling to find the limits on these type of emails. I've attached a basic example of a select number of records which I wish to share in an email. Would appreciate if someone could advise / tell me a better approach! I am new to Airtable. I have created an interface, but I am struggling to figure out how to display alerts or message boxes to the user in the interface if they are open and not taking any actions for a certain interval (like five minutes). Ideally, I would like to display a help dialog where they can search for or see a link to another page. I don't know if this is possible, but I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could guide me.

Hi all,I've found a script that I've used as a script app to compress all of the images in my tables. Now I would like to turn that into an automation, so when I upload a new image it will use my tinypng account's api to compress the image. HelloTrying to do something very basic.I have created an automation where all the steps confirmed as working except the trigger which is a button trigger. My understanding is to connect a button to the trigger I have to select it in the interface.So I go to the interface, add button but under Choose Automation no automations are showing. I am attempting to find a formula that will create a continual weekly release date when I create a new topic for a podcast.  For example, if I were to have a release today and I were to open a new row, it would automatically populate a week from now in the date, so on and so forth.

Hello everyone,I am currently working on a database in Airtable where I need to automatically generate a random number from a specific list of numbers for each new entry in my table named "Article". The list of possible numbers is as follows: [1448, 800, 140, 105, 106]. I want each time a new record is created, one of these numbers is randomly selected and inserted into a column named "Nombre".I tried using built-in formulas in Airtable, but they don't seem to work as I wish. I also tried writing a script in Airtable's Scripting app, but I haven't been able to get the desired behavior.I wonder if anyone has encountered a similar issue or if anyone knows how I could achieve this, either with formulas or with a script.

Hello! I would like to set-up an automation using "Run a script" that checks the text in the primary field [Name] for a matching value in a multi-select field [Topic] and then populates the field with the matching value. Would greatly appreciate any help with creating a script and automation that can accomplish this as I am unfamiliar with scripting. Included sample data screenshot for visual.
