Hi all, I have a table with a field that is constantly updated (everytime the user clicks a button, this field stores the user email). The problem is that when a new user clicks this button the email gets replaced by the email from the user who clicked last. I would like to set up an automation so that every time this field gets update for it to copy the email to a different field where all the emails from people who have clicked gets stored.So far I created a text field which receives de email information when the user clicks the button and also created a linked field (linked to the users table) that is where I would like to have everyone who has clicked.Any tips or help will be highly appreciated. I have Typeform on my website that I use for Lead Generation. When I integrate that Typeform to Airtable, it imports all data (Name, Phone, Email etc) except for the Mailing Address data. I have tried all relevant Field Types but it still doesn't work. Collecting the mailing address is mission critical because I need to mail samples to that address of potential clients. If someone could help, I would really appreciate it.  

I want to update my Airtable attachment field with a pdf that is loaded in a Google Drive folder. This is what I have so far, and I think I am almost there. There seems to be an issue (Request failed for https://api.airtable.com returned code 404. Truncated server response: {"error":"NOT_FOUND"}) in the final step (attachPDFToRecord), which I cannot figure out. HelloSo I have a calendar view in my interface where a user can add a record to schedule an asset to play at a certain day or time. It's been working well so far, but the actual schedule never changes week to week only the asset assigned to that timeslot.The table for this calendar has a date/time (ex. 8/18/2023 10:00pm) primary field and I was wondering if there was a way to automate the creation of blank records for the time designated timeslots so that when a user tries to schedule an asset all they have to do is click one of the blank records in the calendar and assign the asset? This would make it faster for them to do the scheduling without having to manually recreate the scheduling time slots every week that never change anyway.I attempted to do this with a create record automation... but it seemed like I could only create date/time records for a specific date instead day of week. For reference below is the scheduled slots I'm trying to c

I'm totally new to Airtable automations, and these questions will probably show that.I want to set up an automation where the trigger is "When a record is created" and the action is "Send an email." The To field will draw from a lookup field in the table that contains email addresses.My first question is, if I create a record but don't enter an email address quite yet, will Airtable send an email when I go back and enter an email address later?Also, if I set up this automation for a table that already contains records, will Airtable send emails for all existing records, or just ones I enter after turning the automation on?

Hi All, I have a very simple automation to email a group of educational course participants at a scheduled time every week. All of the tests I run are successful, but the automation fails because "Google reported an error while processing this action: too many recipients." Since my automation is set up like this...trigger (at a scheduled time) > action (find records) > action (gmail: send email) ...I am trying to email the max number of records, which is 100. It's usually not a problem to email 100 people through gmail, so I'm not sure why the automation would fail. Does anyone have any advice on this? I have 700 people to email, so if I need to decrease the number of people I'm emailing, that would kind of defeat the purpose of the automation...Thank you!

Rolllups showing percentages or dollars aren't appearing in automation (sending gmail) the same way they are appearing in the data view. Dollars are showing a million places past the cents and percentages are reverting to numbers after a decimal. How do I fix this?

Hello, Airtable community!I'm looking for help with automation and linked records.I have an editable list record on an interface page that allows users to create a record in a specific tasks table, which has various linked records.I've managed to successfully set and run automation to set the user to match whoever creates the record. However is it possible to create an automation to update the project ID so it's associated with the record ID of the interface that they're in? Effectively updating the record that's just been created and linking it to the project that the task was created for. Currently, they can select - but I'd like it to auto-populate. Thanks,John 

Hello,I am trying to create an automation that will remove a selection from a record, if another selection is present. So as seen in the picture below, if a record has "Waitlist - Event 1" from the "Waitlist" field. It will REMOVE "Event 1" from the "Event(s) Attending" field.1. This is so, once Event 1 has reached registration capacity (100 people for this example), all further registrations will have their form selection removed, replaced with the waitlist selection in the next field.2. This will then send them an automated email informing them they have been waitlisted for whatever events have reached overcap.3. The waitlist events are in their own table and are linked records, the information between event data and event data (waitlist) are 99% identical, with the only difference being the word "waitlist" is added to the name for email automation and identification purposes.

Inspired by a YouTube video from Dan Lehman, I aimed to craft a system where volunteers could easily log their hours during a program. The base setup was straightforward, but I've hit a roadblock when integrating custom buttons within the Airtable Interface.Base Setup:Table: "Time Logs".Fields: Volunteer full name, VITA site (with options: El pueblo and Quincie), Certifications (with options: Basica and Advanced), Time In, Time Out, and Duration.Functionality:I implemented two button fields:"Start Time Tracking": Populates the "Time In" field with the current time."End Time Tracking": Populates the "Time Out" field and calculates the duration.Both buttons are linked to custom scripts to automate the time-tracking process.

Hello everyone - and Merry Christmas! So I am playing around with a table that contains several Records with dates in the future (new Records are being added from time to time). The Records will be made by colleagues in one department and then taken care of in another department. Right now I've made an Automation that sends an email to people from the other department with all the info they need from the specific Record so that they can complete the task straight from their inbox. However: I want to be sure that they actually do it; or in other words: I want to be sure that Records aren't forgotten. Is there a nice way to accomplish this? I thought of adding a Button to the email so that when my colleague in the other department finished the task, they could click on that Button and it will be registred in Airtable on the specific Record; however I don't see that's an option. I hope to find a solution in here! 

I'm building out the Airtable to Google Calendar Automation (see this article)It is important for us to hide the guest list so invitees cannot see other people invited or their contact information. There is not a setting inside Airtable automations that handles guest list or guest permissions from as far as I can see.The Google Calendar account that we are using to send out these invites has guest list and guest permissions DISABLED by default. If I create a new Google Calendar invite inside Google Calendar itself, they are disabled. Works as expected and respects the defaults.However, when I use Airtable to create Google Calendar invites, it is ignoring this setting in my Google Calendar account and creating invites that ALLOW people to view the guest list.Any ideas?

We have built an automation that syncs data from our CRM with Airtable. Each insert/update/delete in the CRM post a message to a webhook created from an Automation. This works perfectly fine for single transactions in the CRM but for a bulk update or an import in the CRM of e.g. 500 records it only processes a limited number of records (e.g. 168 out of 800). Is there a limitation in the number of instances of a script that can run in parallel? And if so, is there a way in Airtable to work around this as I have no idea to buffer the webhooks coming in.

I want to start with the important fact that I do not know javascript so I need to be able to do this within the automations manager in Airtable. I have a simple base that has contacts with certain categories. I want Airtable to email me once a week with the names of any contacts still in that category.For example, John Smith and Wade Wilson might have "needs follow up" in the Status field. I would like Airtable to email me once a week to list out the people in "needs follow up" under Status. It can be an email that just lists their names. I have read the forums here and googled and I cant' figure out how to do that. 

I'd like to get a slack message whenever an automation run fails, but I don't see any native functionality for this. Has anyone found a workaround to get this done? Thanks!

Hi Airtable Community!I want to be able to send an email if 7 days has passed since they last received an email.I have set a date field in my database to be populated with today's date when an email is sent from my automations.I now want to create another field that includes a "1" if today's date is greater than 7 days, or "0" if not.I can then trigger future emails if a "1" is present in the field.I'm nearly there with this formula (see attached).IF(TODAY()-{Last Contact Date}>7,"1","0") Does anyone know what I'm missing please?Thanks,Gavin

Hey all, so I'm working on creating a base that will be used to track multiple event registrations with a form that has option for the registrar to identify which event(s) they are attending. Once the form is submitted, automations will assign them to the event they said they would attend via. a check in grid.Currently, I have the email automation to send confirmation emails based off what they said they will attend, but I realized if someone plans to attend all five events, they will get a confirmation email for each event, that's potentially 5 different emails which isn't the most ideal.I'd like to concatenate the email automation, that will be based off the events they select. i.e., if they plan to attend Event 1, 3, and 5. A single email will be distributed, confirming they signed up for 1, 3 and 5—instead of 3 different emails for each event.I read around that this might involve creating a javascript but was hoping there is another w

Hello,I'm having an issue with tasks. I have an automation adding a list of tasks from a 'tasks' template, which is triggered each time a new record is created.However, when I check off a task in record A, it also checks off the same task in record B, and in any subsequent records created. How can I stop this from happening - allowing me to check off each task individually per record, without affecting the other records?Thanks

Hello! I use Airtable for organizing my blog. Once arthile are ready, Airtable send an email to Wordpress (postie amazing plugin! ) for creating the next post.I woul dlike to automate the posting time. On my blog, I have 8 time slot per day, monday to Friday, so in total 40 new post per week.I would like that once I select a checkbox, an automation insert the publication data in the "pubblication Date" field according to the next available slot.I have tried creating a table with the available calendar (all the available time for the different time of the week) and a stack that increase by one, every time I select the checkbox, but unfortunatly I was not able to proceed further with automation.Does anybody have any idea on how to solve the problem with an easy and effetive solution (I think to use an automation is the right approach, but my coding capacity are almsot zero..)Thank you very much in advance to anybody would give me a suggestion on how

I"m not sure if this is possible. I have a table EndOfMonthReports, which has a link to a list of ClientExpenses. I would like to send an email with the report, and attach ALL the pdfs of each client expense, to the email.  Also currently, the ClientExpense table has a field AttachmentPdf, and another one GoogleDriveLink.  The Pdf would include the actual file as an attachment, while the GoogleDriveLink, as it name implies - has a link to google drive.Ideally, the automation would attach all the EndofMonthReport > LinkedClientExpenses.AttachmentPdfs to the email, and also download all the GoogleDriveLinks and attach to the email as well.  Is this somehow possible in Airtable? Or maybe via Make?

I am trying to use Make to automatically update record links, based on a generated primary key.  I am mainly using this because I am hitting the 50k limit of the Pro plan limit, and Make has no limitations on amount of tasks / operations.I have a field called LinksNeedUpdate, which when the value is 1, I want it to be able to set the value of 'Link to another record', to the value of a formula field.  I have the below fieldsLinksNeedUpdate: Simple formula field, which returns 1 when the values of CleanerMonthlyInvoiceIdGenerated and CleanerMonthlyInvoiceLink  do not match.CleanerMonthlyInvoiceIdGenerated: This generated the ID of the invoice. I am trying to map this formula field into a date field in an automation. However, the automation cannot display the date, and I cannot add DATETIME_PARSE to this IF formula. How do I automate adding time to a date field?P.S. I cannot just use a lookup field, because I have tasks being created from other tables and they all use the same Due Date field, which is tied to further automation down stream.
