I created a scheduling system in airtable where people can sign up for scheduled slots through a form. One table has the slots that are available, call this A. Another slot has the actual schedule where people can sign up for slots, call it B. When a person signs up for a slot, they pick their team which is referenced from another table, call it C. So, table A will link to a schedule entry B which will link to a team C. Is it possible to also link table A, the actual slots directly to the team C once the team has signed up?

I am trying to embed a table on my Wordpress site and have some questions Is it possible to remove the “download csv option”? I don’t want users to be able to download the entire table but I want them to be able to copy and paste information from that table. I have a column of images but it’s just showing a link to that image, I want the actual image to show in the table. Is this possible?

Hi, I have 2 tables connected. Table A : Sales of the day Table B : All my services/products Basically, when a new customer purchase something, I go on Table A, go on the column “product”, and as it’s connected to the list of all my services in Table B, I just select what the customer has purchased. My issue is I can’t select 2 times the same product. If I have added one of my products on Table A, and I want to add it again for the same customer, the product is not on the list anymore. Is there a way to be able to select several times the same product ? Thanks, Sébastien

Why is this this Balance Column not equal to Zero 0.00? My Formula is {Net Bill Amount}-{Total Paid} How can I build the Formula that is should say 0.00 , I need it as a 0.00 !!!

Hello! I would like to use Airtable to keep track of our counter drink sales we have in a cooler. It is not really part of our main business so I want to track it differently. I would prefer using Airtable over Excel. What would you suggest to keep track of the small inventory, cost, list and profit? Will it even calculate profit? Thanks! I’m excel proficient but database dumb but I much prefer to use this. (I use it for our equipment inventory) I have tried using the inventory template but there doesn’t seem to be a way to make a purchase order with multiple products. The template appears to show only one product per purchase order. In my case, we only order through one manufacturer and different products.

Hello, I am trying to show the summary of years members have participated in a non-profit. There are five fields: Name, Active (checkbox), Date Joined, Date Left, Years of Membership The table has both active and inactive members. I am using the time diff formula, however, for the members that are still active, the Date Left category returns NaN value. Is there a way of calculating a Years of Membership for both active and inactive members in the same column? Thank you!

My Example: I have 4 tables: Transactions Budget Reporting period Category I linked Budget and transaction each with both Reporting period and category Now I would like to see summary of transactions against budget per month and category currently both tables contains this two field but I dont really know how to actually link without creating another field and links is it possible at all? I have an airtable base for a volunteer organization, which is organized into project areas (Social Media Posts, Newsletters, Articles). I am trying to create a ‘collaborator summary’ table where I can quickly see what assignments those collaborators have from other tables. Is this possible? For example, if I am assigned to write 2 Social media posts, I want to see the title of those posts in my ‘summary’ table. I also want to see which Newsletters I am assigned to, so maybe that needs to be a different field in the summary table.

I’m working to build a base for the following use case (similar to a sales pipeline CRM): I have a list of Vendors, who each have multiple Documents they must fill out / complete in order to move from Phase 1 to Phase 2. While the list of documents to be completed is the same for all vendors, the responses within those documents/forms will be unique. I want to track completion rate of the unique documents for each vendor, and once all documents are completed, have the ability to move them into Phase 2. (Phase 2 will have a different list of documents necessary to be completed before graduating to Phase 3). For instance, I want to show that Miller Manufacturing has 60% of all documents completed, while Rachael LLC might only have 20%. I’d like for there to be a view to show the details for where each Vendor is in the process, while also being able to drill down

Hi, I am getting my table data from Jotforms with an integration. This is working well. I want to then customise my table further and add lots of extra fields in Airtable for workflow, but I kind of want to keep the original import data structure intact and simple. My solution to this is to create a second table which has all the data from the import table linked plus all my extra goodies. I am aware that I can achieve this by creating a new table and manually linking all the fields from the import table, but I wondered if there was a simple solution to creating a complete linked table duplicate in one click? Am I just being lazy? I could have probably done it manually in the time it took to write this but I hate doing stuff the hard way if there is something I am missing. Thanks Pete

I want to use airtable to collect applications from people for a program. One of the questions is asking for the applicants teammates (which could be any number) and for each teammates I want to ask for email, location, role, affiliation, etc etc basically a lot of different qualities. Screendoor has a way to do this using table inputs, but anyone know of a way to do this in airtable?

I pull a .CSV report each day from a third party software that shows me all unpaid balances for reservations checking in in the next 60 days. I move these into airtable in order to sort with different views, add notes, etc. Most records will end up being the same, but I still pull it every day in case new reservations were created or old reservations have new declined payments that were scheduled. I don’t want to have to go through hundreds of duplicate records each day to keep the original ones with my notes, etc. Is there a way to just add new records to the table and ignore the import of any duplicate reservation numbers?

I’m trying to create a programming quiz, and wanted to be able to add a syntax highlighted code snippet to some of the questions. I could add the content in description, but it would have no syntax highlighting. Is there a way?

I am working on an audition list for my band students. I have multiple fields that I am giving students a “score” for and would like to give them a rank based on how they scored on multiple fields. I am struggling because some scores are based on 100, with 100 being the best, and some are just a total of things completed (ie. student attended 3 extra meetings). I would like a way to rank students automatically as I enter new scores for audition material. I can get a new average automatically, that’s not a problem. However, I can’t seem to figure out how to get an automatic ranking of students. This is especially problematic as I will be ranking students that play different instruments separately. (there will be a rank of 1 for Flute and Clarinet, not just a top rank total.) Though a ranking of the entire group that updates automatically would be better than no ranking at all. Any ideas?

I am trying to implement a basic CRM database for a small sales team (contacts table + interactions table). They ask me: “hey I have a follow up today but I want to push it off. How do I do that?” I say: “Open the contacts grid view, search for the contact, look at the “Interactions” field, open the most recent interaction record, and modify it using the record inspection pop-up window.” That’s a lot. Their eyes glaze over. Is there an easier way? A form? A script?

Hi, I am beginner with Airtable and am trying to build an online database to house my Plex films initially then hoping to expand it to include TV Shows. I can generate the records on my iMac but when I use create, it seems I only get about 1 in 6 showing in my online AirTable. It is suspicious to me that I always get 40 out of 252 into Airtable, is that because I am using the free verison? What am I doing wrong? I love the concept but need all my records!! Hi there, I created a table showing daily sales of each product by each salesman as follow: Primary field: date 2nd filed: Name of saleman 3rd field to N field: daily sales amount of each product those products could be grouped into different product category and we need to summarise the monthly sales into different product categories to perform further anlaysis. I tried to create another table with the below setup: Primary field: Product Category 2nd field: Name of product (with multiple select). I’m now stucked as I don’t know how to link the data between the 2 tables to work you the monthly sales by product category. Please share with me your experience.

hi all – Trying to help my agency put together a menu of deliverables that we can use with clients to help them plan their budgets/programs for the upcoming year. Essentially the base needs to cover: what the deliverable is estimated time in hours to complete (this needs to be a range, as we bill hourly) ideally some way clients can opt in to what tactics they want to pursue, and then a total estimated bill associated with that Any ideas?

Problem 1: Here is the set-up we are currently designing. I have Location Name linked to Clients (to keep up with work done for each location throughout the year) More importantly - I really need to track Work Order #s. Problem is when I link this field to Clients I only have the option of the Client Name since Incoming Request is the first time this number is used. I’ve thought about adding the Incoming Requests table to the Clients table but our client table is prepopulated with the address of each location and I cannot figure out the best way of doing this. My going crazy moment is: How do I link, rollup, lookup, or whatever option I need to use to track this Work Order #. Ide

Greetings, I have a base for job hunting that I would like to share with others, but it currently requires too much manual entry to be widely practical. The structure of the base is: Company -> Positions <-> Contacts <-> Activity Every table is optionally linked to all the other tables. The problem is that, let’s say I’m looking at a Contact, and I want to indicate that I spoke to someone on the phone – in the Activity record I may need to link to up to two additional tables manually (Company, and Position) even though the Contact record is already linked to a particular Company and Position. Is there a way to automate filling in these record links so that the base is easier for folks to use? Here is the ERD of the base for those so inclined:
