Hello,AirTable introduce AI Feature few months ago but I don"t see Vector Search or Semantic Search.I found this project Ask-Airy that provide a very interesting design a year ago.It create an Embeding for each table's rowIt create a HyDE of Row based on user query to build an EmbedingIt search the results using Cosine Similarity (I'm struggle here)I like the way it is done but I lack of explanations. I think AirTable should provide this kind of feature natively.As a GPT developers I'm looking for RAG applications.Yes I could use a SaaS database like PinecoreYes I could use Azure / OpenAI Search APIsBut what about AirTable ?I have a lot of interesting Data into AirTable, I'd love to simply query AirTable with Semantic or Vector search then get top X results and fill back my LLM tools.Any ideas

Super strange but I have an issue with airtable at the moment. Links are not clickable in the URL field sometimes. This is specifically if the table cell size is small.It renders an entire webpage! How do I make this a normal link again so our users can actually CLICK on the thing?

Is it possible to create a base that pulls in different tables from different bases? For example, if there are 4 different workspaces (brand) with it's own unique base, and each base has a tab called "X" - is there a way to create a net new base or interface that pulls in "X" tabs from the different bases so that this base can see all 4 "X" tabs in one place?If yes, if/when any changes are made in "X" tab in the original base, will it update/sync with the net new base or interface? Trying to find a solution in Airtable that can help with increased team access and visibility across teams that work on different brands to minimize duplicative work and increase cross-sharing, thus improve overall efficiency and productivity. 

Hi everyone,I need some guidance on designing a base to support the following scenario.My product design team is responsible for approximately 30 distinct products, organized into eight groups. We need to provide weekly updates per product to leadership every Friday. The updates will consist of a few bullets per product.I am not sure how to design the base (and subsequent reporting interface) for these weekly time bound updates.Any advice will be appreciated so much! The interface makes zero logical sense.  There are no error messages.  The Help documentation is written for a specific example, not understanding of how to use the tool. The Interface is broken and non consistent.I'm a big advocate for Airtable, but this is just atrocious in design and implementation for something that is so simple in concept. 

Hi All,I'm struggling with finding the right way to deal with multiple links between two tables.I have a Base with a People table, and a Milestone table, as well as a Teams table. Milestones have an Owner (link to People), and several teams (link to Teams table). Each team has a link (multiple entries allowed) to the People table. This works great for assigning people to different roles on each milestone and have a singular Owner who is leading/responsible for the milestone.However, I want to be able to go to the People table and have a list of all milestones a person is assigned to, no matter whether the person is the Owner or in a team. I have found a way to use a lookup to get all the milestones a person is assigned as a team member, but I need to add the Owner to this list. I don't want to do a simple formula doing a concatenate, because then I can't filter by People in the interface to show everything a person is working on in the calendar/timel

Hi AllI created a form for my drive team.  The form information has start time, end time, etc.  The form information goes into my master spreadsheet.  The team members do not have a paid AT account - Only I do.Is there a way that the information on the form that goes into my spreadsheet could be automatically emailed to the user that submitted the form to me?

I have two different tables in one data base.Table A has a list of unique topics, and each of them is sorted into 'Categories' (via a single select column), and has linked records (from Table B), which represent unique people (it's a formula column though).Table B has the list of unique people (formula column), and I'd like to create multiple columns, one for each category in Table A, to break up the topics corresponding to each person, by category.When I create a second linked record for Topics in Table B, filtering by value, it's fully independent from my first linking (vs showing a subset of it). See attached.The output I would like is, for row 1 in Table B, to see "Topic A" listed in the `Topic - X Category` column. Is there a way to do that?Thank you so much! 

Hello,I need to create my own view under a task. When I duplicate the original task, any changes I make to the duplicate base affects the original one. How can I create my own task list/view without affecting the original one?

Hello there! Currently we use Google forms to gather registration information from clients. Is there a way of creating a registration form on Airtable, from which the answers would go automatically to our Airtable base please? I am trying to avoid copying and pasting… Although I am sure there is a better way of importing this data too. thanks, Reeta

Hi, I recently ran into several such issues where the records of the Linked field shows up empty. Here Session is linked from another table. Notice that the drop down is empty. Anyone facing such issues? 

We are using airtable as a database for some of our raw materials. However, when we receive a raw material order we have to fill out this PDF document for compliance with regulations. I can add the form to a record as an attachment, but the form is not able to be filled out using this method. There is a new form for each record. We are using an iPad in the manufacturing floor to manage all of this.

Hi I'm quite new to Airtable, I've created two bases and now I've realised I would benefit from all the tables being in one base. Is it possible to transfer a table tab from one base to another? (incl vews/formula/field types)  i can copy and paste but would mean i would lose all of the views and have to start from scratch... Thank you!Sarah  

I am creating a contact management database.The master database contains all the fields related to a person. The unique field in each record will be the email.This database needs to be updated from two different source. Each source has the same data but the header fields (field names) are labeled differently, and are different from the master.Example:Source one:  First name is labeled  "f_name"Source two:  First name is labeled  "first_name"Master:          First name is labeled  "First Name"What I want to be able to do is create a relationship between each of the sources to the master using the email (which is unique in all databases) as the key field. Each source will have (needs to have) it's own field mapping to the master. Whenever any of the source databases is updated, a single table in the Master database will be updated. Hi all,I'm running into some issues and dead ends with getting a linked field to display multiple links the way I need them. Right now, I have a linked field that looks like this:You can see the newest records (the ones on 9.19.24) displayed first, tracking what I sent someone and when I sent it.When I add something new in the future, I would like it to display first (i.e. to the far left), because some of these cells have 50-60 entries.. but apparently Airtable will ONLY sort these by the date a field was created? Also, when expanding this cell, I'm also seeking a way to either 1. limit the number of linked fields that display (i.e. to 2 or 3), and/or be able to add a new linked field at the top of this list:Right now my only option

I'm putting together a website/CRM/internet stuff for a window cleaning business. I've looked at Jobber and it seems to offer everything we need but at $100+ per month it's pretty expensive. I tried kickserv which is about half the price for the features we need but my cursory exploration has not been impressive. I love Airtable and I bet the tools have already been developed to make it work. What sites like Jobber do is give an embeddable form that plugs the customer right into the database. They have another form that the worker can use to create an estimate and this of course all gets plugged right into the database. This can all go together and spit out an invoice. These are the main features I need to figure out for Airtable. Some other parts of the Jobber-type solution are things like CC processing and messaging. These are nice to have but aren't essential as long as the system can provide notifications when certain things happen. 

Hi,Our Airtable approach is to provide users with interfaces, nobody works in the base directly. For a Google Calendar event creation automation we now need to add users. The automation is initiated from a button, and its purpose is to create a new event for the user that clicks the button.However, I couldn't figure out a way to make new calendar connections, nor how to make the automation fully follow the "current user" approach.The questions are:(1) I could only find a way to connect new Google Calendars myself (as the admin). Since I don't have, and don't want to have, the users' Google credentials, how can I facilitate new connections? I don't want to extend user access to the base just for this. Hi, I am trying to find a way to find the value that is the second to the max value of multiple linked record using rollup. I can find the max value, but I am still unable to find a way to find the second to max value. So if I have, 21840, 20194, 21664, I need to be able to work with the max(21840) and the second to max(21664). I hope I have explained my situation properly and hopefully someone can help me. A few years back I set up a base for one of our clients who was new to Airtable. I invited them as a collaborator to the base to start to familiarize them with the system. Since then we have been paying for both us and them as a collaborator on the base. The time has come that we want to transfer owernship of the base to them completely so they will both be managing and paying for the base. How do I go about doing that? Do I invite them as an owner and then delete them as a collaborator? How do I remove myself as an owner for the base? How do we get them set up to be billed for the base?

Hi - I am building a base that serves as a marketing tech stack document. I am listing software titles in the first column, and then have columns for "Features in use" and "Features available but not in use" etc.  Each of those columns have multiple selection options.  My goal is to be able to create a view that will group all the software options by the individual features.  So one example use is that I want to be able to see all our software that has the Available Feature to do SMS texting in one group. Did I set this up right to do that? 

There are times when I need a data field to be "Required".   Otherwise, data quality issues are introduced. When this is needed, usually the data field must always be "Required" (Use Case #1).  There are also times when a data field needs to be "Required" only conditionally (Use Case #2), based on a value present in another data field within the record.  What I have observed:Airtable supports Use Case #1 during data creation via the Interface Creation Form, but not during a data update.  I can delete the data in a "required" data field, subsequently in the same interface.Airtable doesn't support Use Case #1 at the table/view level.  It can't be specified when defining a column.Regarding Use Case #2, "Conditionally Required" enforcement is not supported, either at the table/view level or within an interface.  Am I
